The Indy Eleven Coaches Show returns for 2026! Head Coach Sean McAuley joins Grant Shoulders to talk about everything Indy Eleven throughout the upcoming season.

    Segment 1 (0:00-8:06) - Host Greg Rakestraw opens the show with a rarity: by not starting with the Indy Eleven. He starts with the championship league in English football as it is decision day. He runs through the scenarios and the flip-flopping of standings as teams fight for promotion into the champions league. He also previews the show and Indy Eleven’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Segment (11:06-21:27) - Greg’s weekly chat with head coach of the Indy Eleven Sean McAuley starts discussing a 2-1 loss to Union Omaha a week ago. He touches on Logan Neidlinger’s goal as well as his conversations with the league on a controversial corner kick that took place. Coach McAuley reveals what the past week of training has been like and how the team is responding after a loss. Tampa Bay has been a house of horrors for the Indy Eleven in the past, how will the Boys in Blue approach this one? Segment 3 (24:27-35:47) - Greg continues to update us on decision day in the Championship league before we hear from Aodhan Quinn’s postgame interview after the loss to Union Omaha last week. It’s the second time they’ve lost to Omaha this year; Aodhan combs through what the struggles have been. Then, we go to Logan Neidlinger’s postgame interview as he reviews his performance from last week and how he’s trying to step up due to teammate injuries.  Segment 4 (38:47-47:59) - From Crown Point and former IU and Indy Eleven member Karsen Henderlong joins the show to talk about playing for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, what he learned during his time in Indy, what caused a jump in production last year and what he misses most about Indiana.  Segment 5 (50:49-56:44) - This week's news and notes segment begins with the premiere league and where things stand with relegation and who will win the championship. Tottenham is on the brink and will need some help to avoid relegation. Greg previews the schedule for the weekend and the schedule for the Champions League.

    Segment 1 (0:00-2:57) - Host Greg Rakestraw gives a preview of the show and what waits in store for them later today in their first match of the USL Cup. Plus, he gives an update on the standings after six matches in the books.  Segment (5:57-21:59) - Head coach Sean McAuley joins once again in the second segment to talk about last week’s results while also looking ahead to this week’s USL Cup and how he’s approaching the matches as well as being a part of the Cup for the second straight year. Then, Greg runs through the format of the Prinx Tires USL Cup.  Segment 3 (25:00-34:10) - Edward Kizza, forward for the Indy Eleven, earned the goal of the week in the USL this week. It had been a while since he found the back of the net, but he talks about the feeling of finally getting back on the scoreboard. Plus, he discusses his role on the team and how he wants to take advantage of his minutes. Kizza also comments on Eric Dick’s return and how it’s helped the group. Segment 4 (37:10-47:50) - Younes Boudadi is a defender for Union Omaha and a former Indy Eleven player. Before the upcoming match in the USL Cup, Joe Gentry caught up with Younes to talk about his growth during his time in Indianapolis and looks back on some moments with the team.  Segment 5 (50:50-56:45) - Greg wraps the show with his news and notes segment and starts with the Premiere League and the two teams that are officially being relegated. Tottenham is in 18th, what are their chances to get out of relegation? Lastly, Wrexham’s chances in the EFL.

    Segment 1 (0:00-2:33) - Greg Rakestraw opens this edition of Soccer Saturday by previewing the show. It’s jam-packed as we’ll recap Indy Eleven’s win over Monterrey Bay last weekend while also previewing their game Sunday evening.  Segment 2 (5:33-19:11) - Head Coach Sean McAuley starts his weekly segment by discussing how big of a difference thew in over Monterrey was compared to the previous two matches. Coach McAuley let’s us in on the team’s play style and why it’s important to change it based on what the personnel looks like. Plus, how does the team feel after Jack Blake sits alone atop the Indy Eleven scoring list. He also looks ahead to the match against Birmingham.  Segment 3 (22:11-30:16) - We revisit the postgame interviews from the Indy Eleven after last weekend’s win, starting with Jack Blake after scoring his third straight goal in as many games and breaking the all-time goal-scoring record for the Indy Eleven. Then, Loic Mesanvi discusses his goal and what it’s like to play with Jack Blake. How does he set the table for the rest of the team?  Segment 4 (33:16-42:55) - Greg starts an extended News and Notes segment with the Premiere league and the matchup between Arsenal and Manchester City. Tottenham is currently in jeopardy of being relegated, so Greg gives a breakdown of what the standings are. Then, it’s a Champion's league breakdown as four of the five major leagues still have a team going in the tournament.  Segment 5 (45:55-55:55) - Greg reminds us one more time about the Indy Eleven’s upcoming schedule before going to the English Championship league and who will be going back up to the Champions League. Plus, the Europa league is getting down to the end with a champion's league spot on the line.

    Segment 1 (0:00-2:35) - Host Greg Rakestraw previews the show by talking about the Indy Eleven’s game against Monterrey Bay Saturday evening and some of the guests that will be on the program. Plus, Saturday night is the kick for a cause game. Greg runs us through what that means and some of the fun things happening around it.  Segment 2 (5:35-20:03) - Head coach of the Indy Eleven Sean McAuley starts his weekly segment on the program by talking about last weekend’s draw against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and why he had a bone to pick with some of the calls that were made in the game. He also shines light on why he feels it’s important that they start winning games. Indy Eleven made a pickup this week in midfielder Mohamed Omar. Coach McAuley runs us through the thought process on the pickup and how soon he can contribute to the team. Lastly, Greg runs us through the rest of the USL Schedule.  Segment 3 (23:03-31:30) - We go in the time machine to last weekend’s home game and the postgame interviews with players. Jack Blake talks about his first week of the season down after injury and how his body is feeling. Plus, he now stands alone in second place on the Indy Eleven all-time scoring list. Despite that, he’s still focused on the bigger prize for the team. Then, goalkeeper Eric Dick joined Greg Rakestraw postgame Saturday to discuss almost getting a clean sheet despite a late goal. He summarizes what happened on the play that led the team to get only one point instead of three.  Segment 4 (34:30-44:05) - We hear from the newest member of the Indy Eleven Mohamed Omar who describes his first few days in Indy, his days at Notre Dame and how his versatility as a player has helped his career. Although he considers himself a midfielder, he’s also spent just as much time at center back. Lastly, he lets us know how he plans to deepen his relationship with the city of Indianapolis over the next few months.  Segment 5 (47:05-56:53) - We run through our news and notes segment by starting with the leagues that are getting back on schedule after an international break. He updates us on Wrexham’s chances to get out of the Championship league, the Premiere League as Tottenham is still at the bottom, facing relegation between them and Westham. Lastly, it’s the champions league as they are now down to 8 teams, so Greg runs us through where things stand.

    Segment 1 (0:00-2:56) - Host Greg Rakestraw gets the show started by mentioning Indy Eleven playing a home game in the middle of Final Four weekend, looking at the weather forecast for the day and previewing the rest of the show.  Segment 2 (5:56-19:37) - Head coach of the Eleven, Sean McAuley, makes his weekly appearance. He talks about coming away with a draw against Hartford and losing to Omaha. Plus, how has Bruno Rendon continued to progress through the season. McAuley takes the blame for the loss while also admitting they are in a good spot a few games into the season. Lastly, how does the looming weather affect the preparation for a game? Greg then takes us around the USL and where things stand through the first few weeks.  Segment 3 (22:37-31:25) - Midfielder Jack Blake joins the show as he made his return to the lineup this week after injuring his back. He chats about playing with old teammates and playing with Bruno Rendon and Josh O’Brien. Greg runs through the all-time goal scorer list for the Indy Eleven as he is one goal away from being alone at second place for the all-time goal scoring record Segment 4 (34:25-46:05) - We talk to former Indy Eleven goalkeeper Jon Busch who now coaches Goalkeeping for Pittsburgh FC. He talks about securing the title last year and how he celebrated it. He runs through Pittsburgh’s season and some of the players that have come up big for them. Lastly, what does he miss the most about Indianapolis and what will he do with the little time he has in the Circle City? Greg then runs through the all-time saves leaders. Segment 5 (49:05-57:05) - Greg quickly runs through the U.S. men’s national team results before hitting the other matches that featured teams trying to qualify for the world cup. He hits the FA Cup and where things stand as there are only a few teams remaining

    Segment 1 (0:00-3:01) - Host Greg Rakestraw talks about just the third ever home-opener win for the Indy Eleven last week and updates us on a busy week for the team as they are playing twice in 4 days. He also previews the rest of the show with what’s to come.  Segment 2 (6:02-18:40) - We hear from head coach of the Eleven, Sean McAuley after a huge win over D.C FC over the weekend. He also previews the matchups to come for the Boys in Blue and looks ahead to the matchup with Hartford. Since they finished the season strong last year, coach McAuley talks about what it will take to come out with the victory later today. Greg reminds us of the infamous frozen pitch in Hartford last year before running through the USL standings and the Saturday matchups around the league.  Segment 3 (21:40-28:32) - Greg takes us to some postgame interviews from Dylan Sing and Bruno Rendon after the home-opening win last week. Sing talks about the what the support was like and Rendon explains how he’s grown in year-over-year. Rendon also talks about staying consistent despite the philosophy changes the Indy Eleven have made during the offseason. Greg then recaps the win over Detroit City FC last Saturday.  Segment 4 (31:33-44:18) - We talk to Mark Donaldson of Hartford Athletic broadcast team in the fourth segment. He breaks down what Indy Eleven fans should expect from Hartford in Saturday’s game and the start they have gotten off to this season. He also talks about his busy schedule during this soccer season between the USL and the international games he’s having to cover.  Segment 5 (47:18-57:10) - We wrap the show with Laurence Wooton, former Indy Eleven player, talking about playing them in the Open Cup this week and what it would be like to see his former teammates. He reflects on his favorite moment playing for Indy and the similarities between Indy and Omaha. He also says he loved attending the Indy 500. Lastly Greg shines light on some great ticket deals the Indy Eleven offer, United State soccer matches

    Segment 1 (0:00-2:24) Greg Rakestraw previews the show by talking about the Indy Eleven’s Open cup win this week against Des Moines earlier and some of the other games that are upcoming for the Boys in Blue. Also, the home opener tonight! Greg also previews the show! Segment 2 (5:24-18:09) Head coach of the Eleven, Sean McAuley, starts his weekly appearance by talking about last week’s win and getting the chance to play a lot of different players. Plus, how does it feel to get a clean sheet and how they are approaching the upcoming game with Detroit by keeping players fresh. He also talks about the type of performance he wants to put on for the fans at home this week. Then, Greg takes us around the USL and Louisville City’s good start despite a coaching change. Lastly, it’s the weekend schedule in the league Segment 3 (21:09-28:16) Greg talks to Noble Okello who scored a goal in Tuesday’s win against Des Moines. What did it feel like to get a win and play well in it? We also get to know Noble by talking about his basketball fandom and how it exists in Indy with one of his favorite players, Andrew Nembhard. He also discusses some of his favorite things to do in Indianapolis.  Segment 4 (31:16-48:17) We get the national perspective on the MLS and the world cup from friend of the program, Matthew Doyle. A big talking point heading into the world cup has been how this event might push the game forward in the states. Doyle points out what he’d like to see the impact be of the world cup being in the United States. LA FC and Vancouver are dominating the Western Conference while Philadelphia is faltering in the east. Then, Doyle gives us an update on where the US stands heading into the world cup and what he expects over the next few months as they get ready for it. To round out the segment, Greg takes a look at the upcoming USA international friendly schedule as they get ready for the world cup.  Segment 5 (51:17-56:28) News and Notes on the Premiere and Champions league this week covers the runs from the underdog stories in the Champions league coming to an end as there are only 8 teams left. Greg talks about the Tottenham vs Westham match that could decide relegation.

    Segment 1 (0:00-3:17) Host Greg Rakestraw opens the show by recapping the Indy Eleven’s opening week and previewing the pending weekend’s schedule for the Boys in Blue, as well as “317” day that’s coming up. He also lets us know what to expect on the show! Segment 2 (6:17-20:12) Sean McAuley makes his weekly appearance to talk about the disappointment of losing 1-0 to Brooklyn FC in the season-opener. He also explains the travel issues the team had getting to the match and how it made the day difficult. He also touches on the moves the team has made due to injuries and how the team is training with multiple games in one week. Plus, Greg runs through the first week of USL scores. Segment 3 (23:12-31:01) New addition to the Indy Eleven, Mikah Thomas joins the program to talk about his initial reaction to getting contacted to come play in Indy. He provides background on what it’s been like adapting to a new environment and who familiar faces are. His soccer career has taken him in warm and cold climates, but what does he prefer to play in? Lastly, he mentions what he’s looking forward to the most in the Indianapolis market.  Segment 4 (34:01-43:12) - We get to the news and notes portion of the show with Greg talking about the FA Cup and Wrexham losing 4-2 to Chelsea and what that says about the underdog. What are the chances they could get promoted for a fourth time? He also runs through the English Football League and who is going to make the promotional playoff and why Wrexum is the story.  Segment 5 (46:41-57:41) - The last segment is a Champions and Premiere league roundup and how English-filled the matchups are in the Champions League. Liverpool and Arsenal, despite not winning their first legs, are still in a good position heading into their second legs. Tottenham, New Castle, Chelsea and Manchester City all must make up huge deficits in their second legs. Then, Greg runs through the Premiere league matchups and standings for this week.

    Segment 1 (0:00-2:08) - The new Indy Eleven season is finally here! Greg Rakestraw is live in studio to talk about it and preview what’s to come on the show before The Boys in Blue play Brooklyn FC Sunday.  Segment 2 (5:08-17:01) - Head coach Sean McAuley makes his weekly appearance to talk about beginning his third year in Indianapolis. Plus, what makes Aodhan Quinn such a phenomenal leader? Also, McAuley talks about the newest addition, Loic Mesanvi. He discusses how can fit into the team despite being added late into training camp. The group has gotten younger and more athletic this offseason. Coach McAuley discusses how that should benefit them this year and what goes into scouting for Brooklyn FC when it’s a season-opener. Greg also runs through the USL schedule for the opening weekend.  Segment 3 (20:01-27:46) - Team captain Aodhan Quinn gives his preview of the season and what it’s been like to mesh with his new teammates. He also gives an update on where he is in his coaching journey and how he helps out with the Indy Eleven Academy teams. We also hear from Aodhan on how the intensity flips from exhibition to regular season and how he prepares for it. Then, Greg gives a breakdown of where Aodhan stands in the all-time ranks with the Indy Eleven. Segment 4 (30:46-44:26) - The Indy Eleven’s partnership with IU Health has brought in Dr. Bryan Saltzman to be the team physician, and he joins us in studio to talk about the types of injuries he deals with, what it’s like to work for a professional sports teams and what goes through his mind when he sees a player go down on the field. Plus, how does he manage the long season? Then, we here from the newest member of the Indy Eleven, Loic Mesanvi, who talks about his journey and his time in Minneapolis, as well as what he looks forward to experiencing in Indianapolis.  Segment 5 (47:26- 56:41) - We hear from Brooklyn FC’s head coach Marlon Leblanc about Sunday being not just the season-opener for their team, but the first game in the history of their club. He touches on some of the ties he has with players on the Indy Eleven and his ties to Pat McAfee. With him just being hired in December, Leblanc reveals how little sleep he’s gotten and how thankful he is the season is about to start. Greg closes the show by touching on the two new teams in the USL, including Brooklyn. Plus, the Premiere League Schedule.

    Soccer Saturday - February 28. 2026

    Segment 1 (0:00-3:13) - This week’s edition of Soccer Saturday begins with host Greg Rakestraw previewing the show as we sit just over a week away from the Indy Eleven season opener and the preseason being over.  Segment 2 (6:13-17:10) Head coach of the Indy Eleven, Sean McAuley, lets us in on how he feels about the season opener being just eight days away and the news of Pat Hogan missing the season with a knee injury. How can his team be adaptable this year? He also shines light on what the preparation looks like before a season-opener compared to his team’s training in the preseason. Then, Greg runs us through what the backline of the Indy Eleven defense looks like with the injury to Hogan. Also, there’s an Indy Eleven player Greg couldn’t technically interview yet because their signing hasn’t been official. Instead, he teases it for next week.  Segment 3 (20:10-31:55) Hayden White is a newer member of the Indy Eleven. He gives us an update on how he’s continuing to settle into the states after signing in 2024. He’s been battling injuries throughout his career and especially his time with the team. He touches on how he’s feeling as well as a number change going into this year. Hayden also lets us in on what teams he watches from his home country and who he’s a fan of in the Premiere League and national league.  Segment 4 (34:55-45:08) The 4th segment has Greg taking us to all levels of soccer with the News and Notes segment. He gives information on Saturday’s college soccer showcase and how you can attend. We also get a breakdown of the Champions League brackets as they stand right now. We also get the Premiere League matchups this weekends and where things stand in the FA Cup. Lastly, the latest happenings in the MLS.  Segment 5 (48:08-) Greg rounds out the show by previewing next week’s show and the USL’s opening weekend schedule. He lets us know about a game that’s being postponed because of a stadium issue and some of the storylines that are swirling around the league.

    Segment 1 (0:00- 3:28)- During this segment of the show, he recaps the Indy Eleven preseason win last week and possible injury news regarding the team. He previews the final preseason match coming up next week. Segment 2 (6:28-16:37) For this segment of the show, the Head Coach of the Indy Eleven Sean McAuley joins the show to recap yesterday's preseason match. He talks about the need to keep growing as the season continues with the young guys on his team. They talk about some of the new guys on the team and Coach’s expectations of them this season. Segment 3 (19:37-35:09) During this segment, former IU Hoosier and now the voice of the Philly Union Dave Leno joins the show to talk about the turnaround made by the Philly Union last year. They talk about Philly being a part of the Concacaf Champions League in 2026 and playing international teams. They talk about different players and their roles on the team for this season. Segment 4 (38:09-45:44) In this segment, Greg talks about the great underdog stories in soccer and a team from Norway in the Champions League. He talks about the matchups this week in the Champions League Tournament. Greg also talks about the Championship Level of English Soccer and where Wrexham stands in their road to Premier League. Segment 5 (48:44-56:06) To close the show today, Greg talks about round 5 of the FA Cup. He talks about Wrexham as they fight to try to get promoted to Premier League but also in the FA Cup as they balance those two goals. He also talks about the US Open Cup and who the Indy Eleven open up with in that tournament. He previews the weekend of Premier League with the weekend schedule.

    Segment 1 (0:00 - 3:46) - Host Greg Rakestraw opens the show by setting the timeline for the Indy Eleven offseason and where you can find the jersey reveal happening Saturday. Also, he starts to outline the schedule for the men and the women. He also previews the show and what’s to come with the guests as we are just three weeks from the season opener. Segment 2 (6:46-15:21) - Head coach of the Boys in Blue, Sean McAuley, makes his weekly appearance on the show to break down how the team has looked so far in the preseason and his thoughts on who the biggest contributors have been in the games. Also, how does he prepare for the season opener that’s three weeks away, and when does the starting lineup get locked in? Segment 3 (18:21 - 30:21) - Reice Charles-Cook, goalkeeper for the Indy Eleven, joins the show to talk about his clean sheet in the preseason game and reveals the tough setback he received in the offseason that disrupted his training. Then, it’s time for Reice does America. What does he have in-store this year? He also gives insight into the new cities he is looking forward to seeing for the first time this year. Also, what did he think of the Indy 500 and will he go this year? Segment 4 (33:21-42:21) - With the promotional schedule announced, Greg talks to Seth Kimberlin, Vice President of Marketing for the Indy Eleven. He finished his first year with the team this past year and touched on what his experience was like. One of the biggest promotions is racing day with the Indy Eleven; Kimberlin touches on when that will be happening. Plus, he talks about the opportunity they have with the jersey reveal.  Segment 5 (45:21-55:47) - In the final segment, Greg does a premiere league round-up that focuses primarily on the FA Cup. Also, he posits his thoughts on Tottenham’s coaching situation and how it affects the U.S. National team.

    Segment 1 (0:00- 6:48)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour. Greg talks about the Divisional Lineup for the USL Women's League and who the Indy Eleven Women's team will play in 2026. He also talks about the US Open Cup and who the path would be for the Indy Eleven in that tournament. The big news about promotion and relegation in the USL and how that will work. Segment 2 (9:48-20:51) For this segment of the show, second year player for the Indy Eleven Pat Hogan joins the show to get ready for his sophomore season with the squad. They discuss his offseason trip to Ireland with his family. Greg and Pat reflect on his first season with the team last year and how he has dealt with his injuries and recovering for the 2026 campaign and the start of training over the last couple of weeks. He talks about what it was like living in Indy last year and what he would like to do this year around town. Segment 3 (23:51-39:21) During this segment, USL Tactics and Indy Native John Morrissey joins the show to preview the 2026 USL Season. They compare the 2025 Indy Eleven Squad vs the 2026 Indy Eleven Squad. They preview which teams to watch in the USL for the 2026 season. They discuss new expansion teams including Brooklyn who is in Johns backyard and if he will attend matches. Segment 4 (42:21-53:24) In this segment, Indy Eleven’s Chief of Staff Jordan Mirabile joins the show to highlight the role that women play in the front office as National Women's and Girls in Sports Day approaches this week. She talks about when she learned she wanted to work in sports as her career. Jordan talks about what her average day and week is like in the Indy Eleven Front office and what her roles are. She talks about what having a National Women’s and Girls in Sports Day in the country means to her. Segment 5 (56:24-57:32) To close the show today, Greg closes the show in a quick fashion after three great guests this week. But invites season ticket holders to the friendly on Friday in Westfield.

    Segment 1 (0:00- 4:21)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what and who is ahead on the show in the next hour. He talks about the roster being set for the 2026 season after two signings this week as well as the preseason friendly schedule that was released this week. Segment 2 (7:21-15:59) For this segment of the show, the Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley joins the show to talk about the beginning of training camp and the new signings for the season and how they can help the team. He talks about wanting to get deeper and younger on the roster and how he thinks they accomplished that with the additions to the team. Segment 3 (18:59-32:40) During this segment, one of the first of the newest signings for the Indy Eleven Paco Craig joins the show. He talks about how different it is donning the Indy Eleven kits after playing against them for nearly a decade. He talks about why signing with Indy this season was the right move for his career. They discuss his dad as a famous musician with the Band Country Club and what that was like growing up. He talks about what he is looking forward to in Indianapolis and Indiana as a whole. Segment 4 (35:40-43:00) In this segment, the second newest signing of Indy Eleven Hesron Barry joins the show to talk about joining Indy Eleven. He is from Jamaica and played soccer at University of Green Bay. He talks about if he knew anybody that he will be playing with before joining Indy Eleven. He talks about what hes learned about the fans and match night atmosphere for Indy Eleven as well as what he is looking forward to about moving to Indy. Segment 5 (46:00-56:54) To close the show today, the new President of the Indy Eleven Michael Huber joins the show to talk about his career and his experiences of being President of Indy Chamber and former Deputy Mayor to Greg Ballard, will help him as President of Indy Eleven. He talks about what aspects of the Indy Eleven future has him most excited as he takes this job. He talks about his favorite memories in the history of the Indy Eleven and what stands out to him.

He talks about the times of the kickoffs that were added to the schedule this week. He talks about the beginning of training camp that starts on Tuesday and friendlies not far behind. Segment 2 (7:09-18:48) For this segment of the show, the return of Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley for first time in 2026. Coach talks about his trip home to England for the Holidays and what matches he attended. He talks about the start of a new season with training camp starting this next week and wanting to get off to a good start. He dives into why he chose to come to Indy. He also talks about his experiences in the U.S. being from Trinidad & Tobago and how the soccer and lifestyle compare. He also shines light on what he’s looking forward to most with the Indy Eleven.  Segment 3 (19:34 - 27:05) - Another new member of the Indy Eleven is Alejandro Mitrano of Venezuela. He talks about the connections that brought him here and his time with Miami FC. He touches on what he thinks about Indianapolis as a city and what people can expect from other players on the team that he has history with. Mitrano also describes the adjustment he’s making from a warm city to a cold one.   Segment 4 (30:05-39:26) - Newly appointed assistant coach Jason Perry joins the show to relish in his promotion to the professional staff. He’s been in Indy for 15 years coaching mostly college soccer but moved to the Indy Eleven a few years back. He also tells a story about living with basketball players in college and feeling like the smallest guy.  Segment 5 (42:26-56:37) - Greg rounds up with updates from soccer leagues in England and around the world. He talks about his soccer broadcast career calling indoor and outdoor soccer over the years on radio and television. He talks about current Indy Eleven players who he has seen come up through the soccer ranks. He talks about Zionsville FC and the rebranding of that club that Dan is a part of since the end of the Indy Eleven season. The forward from Western Michigan talks about reuniting with Charley Sharp, who he was college teammates with at Western Michigan University. Sing speaks on how he expects to handle the physicality of the USL and his excitement to play for Sean McAuley.  Segment 3 (26:26 - 33:32) - Dylan’s former and current teammate, Charley Sharp, joins the show to talk about his side of the reunion. He describes what it was like to play for Toronto in the MLS and what he looks forward to returning to the Indy Eleven this year. What were the conversations behind the scenes between him and Charley about playing together? Coach McAuley recaps those and how he feels like his team is responding to the end of the season and how he feels going forward.   Segment 3 (22:22-29:02) - Back for the fourth consecutive year and fifth overall, Cam Lindley joins the show to talk about getting another year to play with the Eleven. The continuity he’s been able to build with his teammates is something that gets him excited for the next season. Lindley also comments on when he gets back to training after the season ends and what family time is like in the offseason.  Segment 4 (32:02-39:57) - Midfielder Jack Blake joins the show to talk about the chemistry both he, Cam Lindley and Aohdan Quinn have and how their leadership shines through. He had a USL-leading 11 assists and won the Golden Playmaker award. While he of course would've traded it for team success if given the opportunity, there is still a chance for Quinn to reflect on the honors. With the season over, how much rest time is needed? Also, Quinn is contemplating a transition to coaching soon and explains what is upcoming in that process. Segment 3 (20:15-36:43) - John Morrissey of USL Tactics joins to discuss the major upset Detroit pulled off against Louisville City FC. With the postseason struggles from Louisville, will there be changes in the near future in terms of coaching or the roster? Plus, Rhode Island is playing well, and Morrissey discusses their ceiling in the postseason. With a bunch of upsets, Morrissey also explains who the favorite is. Greg and John then look ahead to the USL landscape and what the chances are for expansion, the start of the division 1 league in 2028 and more Segment 4 (39:44-47:42) - Host Greg Rakestraw recaps the wild week he had called multiple soccer games and traveled long distances for it. It was the state championship for high schools in Indiana, and Greg was on the call for two of them. He also recaps the other state championship games.     Segment 1  – Greg Rakestraw opens the show as he quickly hits on the Indy Eleven as they prepare for the Birmingham Legion tomorrow afternoon at home as the season is nearing an end.  Segment 2 – We welcome in the Head Coach of the Boys in Blue as Sean McAuley talks with Greg Rakestraw about their game last Saturday when they fell to fellow playoff contender Rhode Island on the road 1-0. They then transition to tomorrow afternoon’s game on home turf as they take on a struggling Birmingham Legion team as the Eleven look to make a playoff push with just 6 games to go. After the conversation, Greg Rakestraw takes a look around the USL Championship.  Segment 3  - During this segment, we hear from new Indy Eleven goalkeeper Luke Pruter who has been with the squad for just less than two weeks and made his first start for the club in the 1-0 loss vs Rhode Island. They then chat about the upcoming matchup tonight with rival Louisville City and how he is planning to prepare his squad for a tough battle at home. Today's conversation recaps the loss on Wednesday to end the Jägermeister Cup run in the Quarterfinals. But the attention turns to this weekend and the resumption of the USL Championship playoff race and their upcoming match against Miami. Coach talks about the high expectations that the team and fans has and how it may have affected the match. He talks about what the team does in the quick turnaround with only a few days between matches. Greg ends the segment by a look at the USL Championship table and the weekend schedule.  Segment 3 (17:48-23:49) During this segment, Indy Eleven Forward and goal scorer from Wednesday night, Romario Williams joins the show via the postgame interview from Wednesday's loss in the Jägermeister Cup Quarterfinals. He talks about the disappointment of losing in Penalties and not getting a chance to play for a Championship in the Tournament. After the chat, Greg takes a look at the USL Standings and talks where Indy stands in the playoff race.  Segment 3  - During this segment, we hear from a former Eleven midfielder Ben Mines who will instead line up against his former squad as a member of Loudoun United. They then preview the matchup tonight against the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Greg then takes a look at the League Table and talks about where things stand across the USL.  Segment 3  - During this segment, we hear from Indy Eleven midfield Cam Lindley as he will become the 5th member of the 100 appearance club with the boys in blue tonight versus Tampa Bay.  Segment 4 - In this segment, Greg gets to talk with Hunter Sulte and Bruno Rendon postgame after their 2-1 victory over FC Tulsa in the last matchday of the Jägermeister Cup group stage as they helped Indy into the knockout stage. They also talk about how Sean feels at the midway point of the season. They also talk about how little of a gap there really is between the USL Championship Teams and the USL League One teams. Ian then talks about the scenarios regarding the Cup.  Segment 3  - During this segment, we hear from Indy Eleven Midfielder James Murphy. They first talk about his first goal in over 1000 days as he scored in the Eleven’s 4-2 loss to North Carolina FC. They then talk about and preview the match tonight as they talk about FC Tulsa in the Jägermeister Cup needing a win in regulation or a win on penalties to see themselves into the Quarterfinals.  Segment 4 - In this segment, Ian gets to talk with the Head Coach of FC Tulsa, Luke Spencer, as we get the other point of view of tonight’s big Jägermeister Cup match. They also talk about his first year at the helm of the team and how he and his squad are seeing success so far in the USL Championship as they sit top of the Western Conference.  Segment 5 – In the final segment of the day, we hear from Dave Saunders who is the play-by-play voice for FC Tulsa, as he and Ian discuss the season they are having as they sit atop the West.     Soccer Saturday May 3, 2025Segment 1 (0:00-2:50)- Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing what is ahead and who is coming up on the show today and recapping the inaugural Jägermeister Cup match against Forward Madison and who is coming up on the Indy Eleven schedule.Segment 2 (5:50-17:17) Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley joins the show to recap last week's Jägermeister Cup win against Forward Madison and how impressive the 2nd half was with a scoring outburst to secure the 4-0 win. Coach also talks about how his new goalkeeper is performing to this point in the season. They preview the match against Detroit this weekend back into league play.Segment 3 (20:17-29:55) During this segment of the show, the team captain for Indy Eleven Aodhan Quinn is welcomed to the show. Greg and Aodhan discuss the end of the match last weekend against Forward Madison. He talks about his stats and being one of the most experienced players in league history in terms of minutes and matches played.Segment 4 (32:55-42:35) In this week’s Scouting Report, former Indy Eleven Assistant Coach and current Detroit City Sporting Director Trevor James talks with Greg Rakestraw about year two of his transition from Head Coach of Detroit City to Sporting Director and also about their players both experienced core and new pieces in Detroit. He also discusses top memories of his time in Indianapolis as assistant coach.Segment 5 (45:35-56:50) In the final segment of the day, the television voice of Detroit City FC Neal Ruhl joins the show to preview tonight's USL match between Detroit City and Indy Eleven. Neal and Greg talk about the success of the Detroit Pistons as well since he is on the Detroit Pistons Radio Network. They talk about what the expectations are for Detroit City FC this season having made the USL Playoffs the last few seasons.
