Episode 594: Bridging Science, Biblical Truth, and Culture with David Rives
David Rives joins the Ladies of LoveTalk Network and provides a compelling bridge between faith and science. By viewing humanity as a "work of His hands" rather than biological accidents, he directly counters the modern "pandemic" of worthlessness with a sense of divine dignity and purpose. His focus on cultural apologetics and the historical reliability of the Dead Sea Scrolls reinforces the idea that the Bible is both scientifically and historically anchored, urging us to trust the observable data of the natural world. Ultimately, his journey from age seven, when David met the Lord, proves that a sense of destiny isn't bound by age, but by a relationship with the God who "declares His glory" through every star and strand of DNA.

Episode 589: Awake, Alert, and Awestruck - Part 3
In this final week of our series—Awake, Alert, and Awestruck—the Ladies of LoveTalk Network shift from vigilance against the enemy’s subtle deceptions to lifting our eyes in wonder at the greatness of God. We first discussed the importance of waking up from spiritual slumber to begin a new life in God. Last week, we explored what it means to stay alert, recognizing lies that twist truth and divide. We also learned from Eve’s doubt, Jesus’ steadfast “It is written,” and David’s humble repentance. Now, we turn to being Awestruck, overwhelmed by God’s beauty, power, and grace—where His glory eclipses every scheme of the enemy and worship rises in its place. As Psalm 33:8 declares, “Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him!”

Episode 588: Awake, Alert, and Awestruck -- Part 2
Today's message on LoveTalk Network reminds us that after waking up to our need for Jesus, we must stay "Alert" to the enemy’s schemes. Satan is actively at work using deception to make evil look good and truth seem confusing. Nevertheless, Jesus shows us how to resist through submission to God and reliance on Scripture. Although strong believers like Peter and David stumbled when alertness faded, their stories teach us that spiritual warfare is real, personal responsibility matters, and restoration is always possible through repentance. Staying alert requires daily surrender, reliance on God’s Word, and obedience. Join Kerri, Cathy, and Marlene for this timely message, the second in a three-part series entitled Awake, Alert, and Awestruck.

Episode 587: Awake, Alert, and Awestruck - Part 1
This episode of LoveTalk Network is the first in a three-part series entitled "Awake, Alert, and Awestruck. Today, Kerri, Cathy, and Marlene discuss the need for Christians to AWAKE. Awake is a call to recognize how busyness, distraction, and the pursuit of temporary satisfaction can lull us into spiritual sleep, leaving us restless and empty without Jesus. Scripture urges us to wake up now, not later, because true life begins when we acknowledge our need for Him. God awakens His people in different ways—through crisis like the Prodigal Son, through dramatic intervention like Saul on the road to Damascus, or through gentle, personal conversation like Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman. Whether sudden or gradual, awakening always involves recognizing our brokenness, surrendering to Christ, and receiving the forgiveness, purpose, and new life that only He can provide.

The March 3 Texas Primary Election will determine party candidates for the November General Election, with early voting from February 17–27. As Christians, we must act as ambassadors for Christ by engaging in civic life and supporting candidates who defend life, oppose harmful ideologies in schools, and honor the U.S. Constitution -- while also recognizing that no candidate will be perfect. The program features Jeremy Story, a returning guest known for speaking against misconduct and constitutional violations within a local school board. Jeremy is now a candidate for Texas’s 10th Congressional District. This program implores believers to unite their voices, vote according to Biblical principles, and choose leaders of wisdom and integrity, as reflected in Deuteronomy 1:13 and Proverbs 29:2.

Season 2 highlights the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17, showing that gratitude is the difference-maker—nine received healing, but only the Samaritan who returned received relationship, reminding us that thanksgiving rewires the heart. Season 3 addresses silence, teaching that God’s quiet seasons are not absence but invitations to trust Him, rejoicing even before the harvest. Season 4 confronts storms of grief and despair, emphasizing that thanksgiving is not denial of pain but defiance against despair, anchoring us to God’s sovereignty. Episode 551: Stay Salty, Shine Bright
Co-hosts Cathy Endebrock, Kerri Brinkoeter, and Marlene McMichael discuss key points of the message Dr. Robert Jeffress presented at the Governor's Prayer Breakfast at Kalahari Resort in April. Specifically, as Christians, we must have a plan for what Jesus has asked us to do. We have a savings plan for college tuition and/or for retirement in order to have the necessary resources when needed. In much the same way, we must have a deliberate plan to do God's work. He calls us to be both salt (flavoring the fallen world with His Spirit) AND light (shining His light in the darkness). Join the Ladies of LoveTalk Network as they discuss how to Stay Salty and Shine Bright.
