Why Workplace Wellbeing Isn't Working (And the One Shift That Changes Everything)
Beyond the Goggles: Revolutionising Workplace Wellbeing Through Awareness In this episode, Sara Maude explores a revolutionary approach to employee wellbeing that goes beyond traditional management tools. By understanding the "filter system" through which we navigate our daily lives, employees and leaders can unlock a natural state of resilience, creativity, and presence within their teams. What You'll Learn in This Episode: The "3D Goggles" of Thought: Understand how our habitual thoughts and beliefs create a filter that dictates how we experience reality moment-to-moment The Myth of Environmental Stress: Discover why stress is not actually created by your workload, deadlines, or difficult coworkers, but by your current level of internal thinking. Identity vs. Awareness: Learn why identifying with recycled, habitual thoughts (which make up 99.9% of our thinking) leads to suffering, and how shifting to the perspective of the "observer" changes everything. The Movie Screen Metaphor: Explore the powerful analogy of the cinema screen, the stable, ever-present awareness, versus the "characters" of stress and anxiety that simply come and go. Why More "Tools" Aren't Always the Answer: Sara discusses why teaching endless techniques can sometimes create more "mental noise" and why a fundamental understanding of thought is the true key to lasting wellbeing. The Leadership Ripple Effect: See how a regulated, present leader transforms the environment for their entire team, impacting everything from sales performance to psychological safety. Key Takeaways: Thoughts are Not Truth: Most of our thoughts are broken records based on past data; they do not provide objective information about our current situation. True Empowerment is the "Gap": Creating space between yourself and your "character" allows you to access innate wisdom and intelligence. Natural Resilience: When the mind settles and we stop overthinking our thinking, we become more productive and creative by default. Case Studies Featured: How a banking professional overcame decades of OCD and anxiety by seeing thoughts as "clouds in the sky". How a high-level leader reclaimed her effectiveness by noticing the "recycled" nature of her overthinking. Connect with The Mind Solution: Ready to truly revolutionise wellbeing in your organization? Why Your Brain Always Expects the Worst (And What It's Really Trying to Do)
Have youy ever noticed that way the brain loves to catastophise and think the worst case scenario? You see your boss calling and your mind goes 'oh my God, I'm going to loose my job'. Or you don't hear from your partner for a few hours and your mind rushes into 'they've had a heart attack/accident/are dead!'. We really do love to scare ourselves! This process of scaring ourselves feels automatic, unstoppable, and exhausting. But what if that pattern isn't a flaw? What if it's actually your mind trying to protect you? In this episode, Sara Maude explores the hidden psychology behind catastrophising, what it is, where it really comes from, and why understanding it matters far more than trying to stop it. In this episode you'll discover: Why catastrophising isn't caused by your circumstances, and where it actually originates The surprising positive intention behind one of the most draining thought patterns we carry Why awareness, not effort, is the real doorway to lasting change A simple but powerful invitation to get curious about your own patterns this week Links: https://themindsolution.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/saramaude/

Are You An HR Firestarter?
Are You an HR Firestarter or an HR Fire Fighter? I came across a LinkedIn post yesterday where an HR professional had created an HR Bingo card. A snapshot of what a typical week in HR looks like. Things like explaining the same policy for the fifth time, becoming somebody's unpaid therapist, more than one person asking if something is anonymous, not having time to eat lunch. And hundreds of HR professionals were nodding along in the comments. But here's what I saw when I read it. Data. Data that could inform real change and transformation. Because if we keep telling the same story, we're not actually doing anything to influence ways of working, ways of being, or culture. In this episode I share my insights on why that post stopped me in my tracks and what it's really pointing to. If you're ready to be an HR firestarter instead of an HR firefighter, listen now.

How to Feel Confident at Work (Even When You Don't Feel Good Enough)
This one started life as a video but the conversation was too good not to share as a podcast epiosde! My initial response was WTF 😂 In this episode I share with you; ✅ The illusion around confidence ✅ The only reason you don't feel confident ✅ Why confidence isn't something you need to grow or build If you want to experience confidence at work (even when you don't feel good enough) this episode is for you. 💡 Love to know more about the HR Inner Circle - drop me an email - [email protected]

HR Burnout: The 'Not Good Enough' Belief No One Talks About
Are you an HR professional who feels like an imposter? Constantly needing to prove yourself, but never quite feeling good enough? You're not alone. And it's not the job that's doing it. In this episode, I share the story of an HR Director who came to me stuck in cycle after cycle of burnout. She was convinced the problem was external — her to-do list, not enough time for strategic work, the relentless demands of the role. But when we peeled back who she was actually being when she was doing the work, a very different picture emerged. Perfectionism. Overinflated expectations. Imposter syndrome. A deep-seated belief that she wasn't good enough which showed up as micromanaging, poor delegation, no boundaries, and always saying yes. Sound familiar? Here's the truth: over 95% of who you're 'being' at work is conditioned. It's unconscious thought patterns, beliefs and behaviours running quietly in the background, ones you've never been shown how to transform. Psychometric tools like DISC, Insights or Myers-Briggs can show you what you're doing. But they don't show you why. And they certainly don't show you how to change it. That's the work we do in The HR Inner Circle - raising self-awareness and transforming the beliefs and patterns that are no longer serving you, so you can show up as a world class HR leader - grounded, clear, emotionally regulated and operating from your true inner power 👉 If this resonates and you're ready to do something about it, email [email protected] to join the waiting list for The HR Inner Circle.

Why Self Awareness is The New Super Power in The Workplace
Why Self Awareness is The New Superpower in The Workplace We like to believe that we're in control of our lives — that we're consciously choosing how we respond, what we think, how we behave. But here's the truth: more than 95% of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are driven by unconscious conditioned responses. And if you can't see those responses? You can't change them. That's why self-awareness isn't a nice-to-have — it's a superpower. It's the only way to interrupt those automatic patterns that keep you in emotional loops like anxiety, self-doubt, and impostor syndrome. And it's the first step toward real, sustainable change. The unconscious mind isn't just the brain — it's your body. We often think of the unconscious as this mysterious part of the mind. But in reality, your body is the unconscious mind. Your nervous system — shaped by years of emotional conditioning — has memorised how to live in states like fear, stress, or low self-worth. And your brain? It listens. It creates thoughts that match the body's baseline emotions. That's how you get caught in the "thinking–feeling loop": A thought triggers a feeling, the feeling reinforces the thought, and over time, it becomes your default. This is why people say "I've always been an anxious person" or "This is just who I am." But that's not true. You are not your anxiety. You are not your insecurity. What you're experiencing is the residue of past emotional conditioning, not your identity. I've worked with hundreds of people who've felt trapped in cycles of anxiety, exhaustion, and self-doubt, despite trying everything: medication, EAPs, CBT, and talking therapy. The reason it hasn't worked? Because talking about your problems often keeps you stuck in the same mental-emotional loop. You're rehearsing the problem, not rewiring the response. Real transformation happens somatically, not just cognitively. The future of workplace wellbeing isn't more advice. It's not more surface-level mental health campaigns. It's a shift toward somatic, neuroscience-backed tools that help your people recondition their emotional baseline. That's why I'm so passionate about introducing cymatic practices like: EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) Energy psychology Quantum flow and breath-based emotional release tools These aren't abstract theories — they're practical tools we teach in real time during our employee wellbeing webinars. And the results are instant. I've seen employees go from feeling overwhelmed to regulated in under 10 minutes. I've watched physical symptoms dissolve after just a few rounds of tapping. And every time, I hear the same words: "What just happened? I feel completely different." That's the power of rewiring the nervous system. Self-awareness is essential for employee wellbeing and personal development. When your people understand what's really driving their stress, anxiety, or reactivity, everything shifts. Because now they have agency. Now they can interrupt the pattern instead of being hijacked by it. They can respond with clarity instead of reacting with fear. They can show up with confidence, calm, and presence — because they're no longer at the mercy of outdated emotional conditioning. And here's the best part: this is their natural state. Feelings like calm, joy, connection, and stability — these aren't things we need to manufacture. They're already within us. But the nervous system has to be taught how to return there. That's the work we do. We teach your employees how to come back to who they really are. Not the version running on autopilot. The version that's conscious, regulated, and empowered. Because when people learn how to self-regulate, when they stop outsourcing their power, when they feel emotionally safe in their own bodies — the ripple effect on workplace performance is profound. So if you're a leader, a wellbeing manager, or someone who knows your team is capable of so much more — let's talk. Ready to create real-time transformation in your workplace? The Secret to Effortless Manifestation
Manifestation is one of my absolute favourite topics—ever since I discovered The Celestine Prophecy at 20, I've been fascinated by how we create our own reality. And while manifesting isn't something I talk specifically about very often, it's a huge part of empowerment—because owning your power means realising that you are the creator of your experience. In the self-help world, we've all heard that in order to manifest, we must: ✔️ Visualize daily ✔️ Write gratitude lists ✔️ Engage in manifestation rituals ✔️ Stay in the feeling of already having what we desire But… what if you didn't need to do any of that? What if the most powerful way to manifest was not to do anything at all? 💡 Inside this episode: ✔️ Why traditional manifestation techniques might be keeping you stuck ✔️ The surprising truth about manifestation that no one talks about ✔️ How to step into effortless creation mode, where what you desire naturally comes to you If you've ever felt exhausted by the "rules" of manifestation, this episode will shift everything. 🎧 Hit play and step into effortless creation. 🚀✨

Navigating Emotional Wobbles (While Being Wonder Woman)
💥 If you're someone who prides yourself on being strong, independent, and capable—someone who has their shit together—then experiencing an emotional wobble can feel… unsettling. Maybe even frustrating. Because aren't you the one who's supposed to have it all figured out? In this episode, I'm taking a different spin on emotional wobbles—what they actually mean, why they don't define you, and how to move through them in a way that supports your nervous system rather than fighting against it. Because here's the thing—being emotionally wobbly doesn't mean you're weak. It doesn't mean you've lost control. And it definitely doesn't mean you're failing. But if you're used to seeing yourself as 'Superwoman'—handling life, business, finances, and everything in between—then you might struggle to give yourself permission to feel without making it mean something about who you are. So, if you've ever found yourself resisting vulnerability, pushing through when your body is asking you to pause, or making yourself wrong for feeling off-kilter—this one's for you. Let's talk about what's really going on beneath the surface, how to regulate your nervous system during those wobbly moments, and why true strength includes allowing yourself to be human. Burnout Uncovered: The Hidden Cost of Unmet Emotional Needs
Burnout isn't just about working too hard; it's about what's missing. And in leadership, what's often missing is emotional nourishment. In this podcast, I explore a different take on why burnout continues to plague women in leadership, even when they've implemented all the right strategies. Because the real issue? It's not just workload. It's not just stress. It's unmet emotional needs. "I've Tried Everything… But I'm Still Exhausted" Recently, a woman in leadership reached out to me. She'd taken two weeks off over Christmas. No emails. No meetings. Space to recharge. And yet, she felt no better. "I've tried everything," she told me. "I meditate, I use the Calm app, I don't check emails after 6 pm, but I still wake up feeling depleted. Her voice cracked when she said, "If I don't have the energy to do the things I love, what's the point of all this?" That conversation stayed with me. This woman leads a large global team. She's committed, brilliant, and deeply self-aware. But no matter how many wellness habits she stacked up, the exhaustion never lifted. When we explored her relationships, especially at home, it became clear: she was giving endlessly, but not getting her emotional needs met. Why Burnout Isn't Just About Work There's a pattern I see again and again, especially in women leaders: You hold space for your team, your children, and your partner. You're the one people come to when they need support. You don't want to be a burden, so you rarely ask for help. You downplay your emotional needs because "others have it worse." The result? Chronic depletion. Burnout doesn't just come from back-to-back meetings. It comes from the emotional weight you carry in silence. And that weight gets heavier when your emotional needs—being seen, heard, valued, loved—go unmet. The Missing Piece in Resilience and Leadership Training Most resilience training for managers focuses on the surface: time management, mindfulness, and breathing techniques. And while those are helpful, they miss the root cause of burnout for many women: A dysregulated nervous system that never feels truly safe or supported. This is where traditional training falls short. It teaches leaders to "manage stress," but it doesn't explore what's creating the stress response in the first place. When your emotional needs aren't met, your nervous system stays in survival mode. You become hyper-vigilant. You overthink. You shut down. You start to question your value. You push harder because you're terrified of letting anyone down. But you don't need more pressure, you need restoration. Signs Your Emotional Needs Aren't Being Met Here are some of the subtle signs that your burnout may be rooted in unmet emotional needs: You feel like you're constantly "giving" in your relationships, with little in return. You rarely feel truly heard or validated when you express your emotions. You crave connection, but often feel alone, even when you're not. You find yourself daydreaming about running away, just for a break. You wonder, "Why can't I just be happy? I have so much to be grateful for…" This isn't just personal, it's neurological. When we don't feel safe, supported, or connected in our closest relationships, our nervous system enters a prolonged state of dysregulation. We stay in fight, flight, or freeze, draining our emotional and physical energy. Real Resilience Starts with Emotional Safety If you want to lead with energy, clarity, and strength, you need a regulated nervous system. And that starts by getting honest about what you need, not just at work, but at home. Emotional safety isn't a luxury. It's a leadership necessity. Our Resilience Training for Managers bridges this gap. We go beyond surface strategies and equip managers and leaders with the tools to: Recognise the emotional and nervous system patterns driving burnout Create psychologically safe environments for their teams and themselves Build real emotional intelligence grounded in regulation, not performance Reconnect with their own needs, boundaries, and personal leadership identity You can't lead well when you're emotionally starved. You can't show up powerfully when your nervous system is in survival mode. You can't bounce back from stress if your relationships leave you depleted. This is the deeper work, and it's what's been missing in most corporate training. ✨ Ready to address the root cause of burnout? Contact us today to book a Resilience Training for Managers session or request a call to explore how we can support your leadership team. Because leadership should lift you up, not leave you empty. Why Nervous System Regulation Is the Missing Link for Women in Leadership
Your ability to lead with confidence, clarity, and calm doesn't start with strategy; it starts with your nervous system. If you've ever walked into a meeting with a smile while secretly fighting overwhelm, overthinking every word after a presentation, or wondering why burnout keeps creeping in no matter how "well" you perform, this is the conversation you didn't know you needed. Why Nervous System Regulation Matters More Than Mindset Leadership training often talks about communication, decision-making, and emotional intelligence. But here's what most resilience training for managers misses: your nervous system drives your ability to access those skills in the first place. The Polyvagal theory, developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, helps us understand how our autonomic nervous system governs how we respond to stress, connection, and challenge. It's not just about "fight or flight." It's about whether you can stay grounded, present, and emotionally intelligent while facing pressure. When your nervous system is dysregulated, the best leadership advice in the world won't land. Because you're operating from survival. Six Signs Your Nervous System Might Be in Survival Mode Let's get specific. If you recognise any of these patterns, your nervous system could be stuck in a chronic stress response: Overthinking everything—replaying conversations, questioning decisions, worrying how you're being perceived. Perfectionism—feeling like you can't drop the ball anywhere, ever. Imposter syndrome—no matter the title or success, you're waiting to be "found out." Trouble switching off—you're physically off the clock, but mentally still in work mode. Avoiding confrontation—even when something needs to be said, your body freezes. People-pleasing—you say "yes" automatically, then resent it later. These aren't just bad habits. They're nervous system responses. And most of them trace back to childhood or past experiences where your system learned it wasn't safe to relax, be seen, or make mistakes. Why This Isn't in Most Resilience Training for Managers Resilience training for managers and leaders often focuses on external strategies: workload management, time off, and stress tips. But resilience doesn't come from more time in your calendar. It comes from feeling safe in your body. Traditional resilience training teaches behaviour change. But behaviour doesn't shift sustainably unless the nervous system shifts too. When your body feels safe, your mind thinks clearly. When your nervous system is regulated, your executive function comes online. That's when emotional intelligence becomes more than a buzzword; it becomes embodied. How We Bring This into the Workplace In our Resilience Training for Managers and emotional intelligence training in leadership, we teach leaders how to recognise the physiological signs of stress, not just the behavioural ones. A Quick Example A senior HR Director I worked with used to spiral into overthinking before every board meeting. Her chest would tighten, her mind would race, and she'd rehearse what to say ten times. Even though she was highly competent, her nervous system was in a loop of "this isn't safe." After learning how to regulate her nervous system, she no longer dreads those meetings. She walks in grounded, speaks clearly, and recovers quickly from feedback or challenge. Nothing external changed. She just stopped operating in survival mode. Why This Is Especially Important for Women in Leadership As women, many of us have been socially conditioned to suppress emotion, prove ourselves, or over-function to earn a seat at the table. That creates chronic nervous system dysregulation, which I call "high-functioning survival." But you can't lead your team, make aligned decisions, or enjoy your success if you're constantly managing an internal storm. True resilience doesn't look like pushing through. It looks like regulation. Ready to Bring This Into Your Organisation? If you want to raise the quality of leadership, reduce burnout, and create emotionally intelligent teams, nervous system regulation must be the foundation. 📩 Book a resilience training session for your managers

Why EFT Tapping Could Be the Missing Link in Your Employee Wellbeing Strategy
Why EFT Tapping Could Be the Missing Link in Your Employee Wellbeing Strategy EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), commonly known as tapping, is a simple method that involves lightly tapping on acupuncture points on the body while focusing on a thought or emotion. That's it. But don't be fooled by how simple it sounds. Dr. Stapleton's research has shown time and again that EFT can reduce stress hormones like cortisol, calm the nervous system, and even rewire the brain. When employees are stuck in a survival state, whether they're overwhelmed with deadlines, anxious about presenting, or just feeling the general pressure of modern work, they're not operating from their best selves. EFT helps them shift that in real time. The Science Speaks: Cortisol, DNA, and Brain Changes Here's where things get interesting. Dr. Stapleton has published multiple peer-reviewed studies showing that EFT significantly reduces cortisol, the body's main stress hormone. In one trial, cortisol dropped by up to 43% in just one hour of tapping. Let that sink in. Other studies have shown that EFT can: Improve brain function (measured by functional MRIs) Positively influence DNA expression Reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD Improve sleep and physical pain All of this means employees aren't just feeling better—they're performing better. They're clearer, calmer, and more capable of making good decisions. Real Talk: What This Looks Like Inside Organisations If you're wondering how EFT fits into the workplace, think micro-moments that transform the day. Employees use EFT to: Calm nerves before difficult meetings or presentations Stop the spiral of anxiety before it affects performance Release the tension of workplace conflict or overwhelm Reset focus after back-to-back meetings Navigate fear-based procrastination on big tasks In one company, we had a team member use tapping every morning for two weeks before logging in, and her entire relationship with work shifted. She felt more confident, energised, and "in flow." This is the kind of transformation that starts small but adds up in a big way. A Toolkit That Builds Emotional Regulation and Self-Awareness One of the greatest gifts of EFT is how it supports self-awareness. When employees learn to name what they're feeling, stress, frustration, and fear, and then process it safely, they stop avoiding. They stop pretending everything's fine. And that opens up the door to emotional intelligence and growth. Dr. Stapleton explains that this kind of nervous system regulation is essential for creating psychological safety. Without it, employees may mask or suppress emotions, only for them to resurface later as burnout, absenteeism, or conflict. Through our wellbeing webinars and on-demand employee wellbeing platform, we teach tapping as a frontline technique for emotional regulation. Employees learn to: Tune in to how they actually feel Use EFT to lower the emotional charge Re-enter their day with clarity and calm This isn't about "fixing" anyone. It's about restoring choice and presence, something that's been missing from most wellbeing strategies. Busting the Myth: "But Doesn't Stress Improve Performance?" One of the most powerful moments in our conversation was when Dr. Stapleton tackled a popular corporate myth: "Stress helps me perform." Here's the truth: there's a big difference between pressure and toxic stress. Yes, a deadline can sometimes help us focus. But chronic stress? That shuts down creativity, disrupts memory, and sends the body into a cortisol-fuelled crash. When employees are constantly running on adrenaline, they're not more productive. They're reactive. Distracted. Exhausted. EFT helps break that cycle. It teaches the nervous system a new baseline—one where safety, calm, and clarity become the default. Not the exception. Why EFT Belongs in Every Workplace Let's break it down. 💡 It's simple. Employees can learn the basics in less than 10 minutes and begin using it immediately. 💡 It's effective. Backed by more than 100 clinical trials, EFT has been proven to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout. 💡 It's empowering. Unlike traditional interventions, employees don't have to wait for a manager or HR to "fix" the problem. They can support themselves in the moment. 💡 It scales. Whether through live webinars, recorded tapping sessions, or integration into wellbeing platforms, EFT is easy to roll out across global teams. Inside Our EFT Employee Wellbeing Training Whether live or on-demand, our EFT resources are designed to meet employees where they are. We teach: ✔️ The neuroscience of stress and how tapping rewires the brain ✔️ Real-time tapping for meetings, deadlines, imposter syndrome, and more ✔️ How to use EFT to shift fear into focus ✔️ Practical tapping sequences for daily use—no fluff, just results Our employee wellbeing platform also includes a dedicated EFT Tapping Library, where employees can tap along to guided sessions on confidence, clarity, stress, and sleep. Many of our clients have called this "the most useful training they've ever done" because it's not just a nice idea. It works. Final Thoughts: This Is More Than a Trend—It's a Paradigm Shift If you've been wondering how to make your employee wellbeing strategy more human, more effective, and more aligned with how the brain and body really work, this is it. EFT Tapping isn't just another technique. It's a radical shift in how we empower people to take ownership of their wellbeing. Imagine a workplace where stress is met with calm. Where fear is met with presence. Where performance is driven by alignment, not pressure. That's what we're creating. Self-Awareness and Consciousness: The Real Key to Transformational Wellbeing at Work
Why Raising Consciousness Is the Missing Piece in Employee Wellbeing If you've ever attended one of my employee wellbeing webinars, you'll have seen the bookcase behind me, lined with over ten years' worth of journals. Each journal captures part of my personal journey, an ongoing exploration of self-awareness, emotional healing, and consciousness. A journey that took me from a corporate HR role to becoming a therapist and now the founder of a global employee wellbeing training company. And while some of those early journal entries make me cringe (and shake my head at the younger me who thought she had it all figured out), they're also a reminder: real wellbeing starts with self-awareness. That's why I believe this topicraising consciousness in the workplace, is one of the most important conversations we can be having right now. Self-Awareness at Work: More Than a Buzzword Many of us have taken a psychometric test at some point in our careers—Insights, Myers-Briggs, DISC. These tools are a great introduction to understanding our preferences. But in truth, they don't transform how we think, feel, or show up under pressure. Self-awareness isn't about identifying your personality colour or knowing you're an ENFP. It's about catching your own thought patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses in real time. It's about recognising when your nervous system is dysregulated, when you're operating from survival mode, and when you're creating unnecessary stress through unconscious thinking. And it's about knowing how to come back to centre. That level of self-awareness changes everything for you, your team, and your business. You Can't Change What You Can't See The mind runs the show over 95% of the time. Employees don't burn out because they've got too much on their plates. They burn out because they don't see the unconscious drivers underneath, the need to prove themselves, the fear of saying no, the belief that rest isn't allowed. This is where self-awareness and consciousness come in. One of the greatest joys of my work is watching people have those "aha" moments. When they suddenly see the belief or thought that's been driving them for years. When they realise that the anxiety, stress, or people-pleasing wasn't caused by the job, but by how they were relating to it internally. This is what we mean when we say, "Your thoughts create your reality." Why Consciousness in the Workplace Matters Consciousness takes self-awareness one step further. It's not just seeing your patterns. It's recognising there's a deeper part of you, an innate wisdom that isn't touched by the noise of the mind. When we support employees to reconnect to that deeper part of themselves, it brings clarity. Calm. Creativity. Regulation. Resilience. This is why we created the Treating Trauma the Easy Way programme. Because when organisations begin to treat not just the symptoms (stress, absenteeism, low engagement) but the root cause (thought patterns, unhealed beliefs, trauma), you create a workforce that thrives from the inside out. Employees don't need to talk about their trauma. In fact, in our programme, they don't say a word. We work directly with the unconscious mind, healing the root issue while employees rest with their cameras off. It's the simplest, most effective way I know to raise collective consciousness within a workplace. What Happens When We Prioritise Inner Work at Work Here's what we've seen in clients across the globe: 🧠 Anxiety levels reduced dramatically—without therapy or medication 💡 Employees gained insights that helped them reframe challenges instantly 🗣️ Managers started listening more deeply, leading more effectively ✨ Teams became more emotionally regulated and solution-focused As one employee shared: "The session was insightful in making me aware that the stress I feel is more a product of how I think about the situation more than the actual event itself. I'll use this going forward whenever possible." That's the kind of shift that sticks. Because it doesn't rely on a new system or policy. It comes from within. The Truth Is, Consciousness Impacts Performance We talk a lot about psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and wellbeing strategies, but the thread running through all of these is consciousness. If you want to create a workplace where people thrive, not just survive, you need to support employees in becoming more aware of their inner world. Because performance isn't just about skills or output. It's about presence. Regulation. Focus. Clarity. Emotional resilience. And those all begin with self-awareness. Ready to Create a More Conscious Workplace? If you're looking for a powerful way to create transformation across your organisation, from the inside out, we'd love to support you. Whether it's through our Treating Trauma the Easy Way programme or employee wellbeing webinars, we'll help you bring a new level of insight, clarity, and emotional wellbeing into the workplace. 🎧 Love this topic? Embracing the Shift: Why Now is the Time to Talk about Spirituality in Business
In recent years, there has been a noticeable shift in the business world—a shift towards embracing the deeper aspects of our human experience and recognising the importance of spirituality in our professional lives. While spirituality and business may have seemed like an unlikely pair in the past, more and more leaders are awakening to the transformative power that lies in merging these two realms. In this podcast, I explore why now, more than ever, is the opportune time to engage in conversations about spirituality in business. Gone are the days when leadership was solely defined by position or title. Today, people crave leaders who are authentic, vulnerable, and compassionate. Spirituality provides a pathway for leaders to connect with their inner selves, cultivate self-awareness, and lead from a place of deep integrity. Are You An Over-thinker?
Do you often find yourself overthinking? Worrying about situations in your life? Over analysing in a bid to work something out? If you resonate with this, know that you are not alone! With around 70,000 thoughts a day, we've all got good at thinking! But did you know that your thinking creates your reality? Your own internal view of what's taking place in your life. Whether this is your health, anxiety, finances, a situation at work or a relationship. You can only see the situation based on your current level of thinking. And given 70% of your thinking is repetitive and habitual, that creates a very limited reality! You might think you need to drop all negative thinking. Or that you need to think more positively. But what if there was a better way? Check out this episode where Sara Maude, Founder of The Mind Solution, shares with you how to calm the mind and take thinking off the agenda! ABOUT THIS SHOW
If you are tired of rolling out wellbeing initiatives and nothing is changing, this podcast is for you. This podcast is for business leaders, HR, learning and development, and wellbeing managers who are serious about reducing burnout, improving performance, and creating workplaces that work, not just look good on paper. If your organisation has invested in training, tools, and programmes, yet stress levels remain high and resilience initiatives fail to move the needle, this podcast challenges why. Each episode dismantles the assumption that stress and burnout are caused by workload, roles, or external pressure. Instead, it points to what is shaping human experience from the inside out, and why, without this understanding, even the best wellbeing strategies stall.Grounded in neuroscience, consciousness, self-awareness, and nervous system insight, this podcast offers a fundamentally different foundation for workplace wellbeing and performance, one that creates real, measurable change ra
