For this week we're bringing back ShOOey with her main stage closing set (played in the guise of Pauly D). About this set ShOOey sez: Playing the closing set at Ghostship this year gave me an excuse to play a little bigger, harder and darker than my usual sound. I had an absolute blast on stage dancing, jumping, and fist pumping my heart out. Seeing all my friends in the first few rows of the dacefloor was a treat as always and love that people were in the for the long haul to see me play. I hope you enjoy reliving a slice of the amazing party that Ghostship was! ShOOey has been a staple in the San Francisco dance scene since 2003. You can find her and her infectious energy at Space Cowboys events playing breaks and house. She also dedicated her time DJ'ing in support for non-profit organizations like Beats for Boobs and La Casa de las Madres. DJ Sol Mixography Space Cowboys DJ Sol comes from a background spanning 3 generations of musician's, so the music is definitely in his blood. Growing up in Los Angeles in the late 70s and early 80s, Sol found inspiration in the newly-emerging hip-hop sound of that era (e.g. Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Flash and Afrika Bambaataa) - a style that became the impetus for a DJ career that now spans three decades.
