Intuitive Healing
Guest Jody Reid is an international Psychic Medium that has spent years honing her skills to help bridge the gap between the physical and the spiritual realm. She shares how her experiences and expertise have helped individuals and groups have a healing experience on a spiritual level. Rebecca and Jody discussed Jody's journey from the medical field to becoming a psychic medium. Jody shared her plans to expand her services through platform mediumship and her upcoming show at the Town Hall Theatre in Port Perry, where she will collaborate with Mark Lewis, a hypnotist and psychic. The show, scheduled for November 1st, will feature both Jody's psychic readings and Mark's stage hypnosis performance. The event will also include a psychic fair throughout the day, with Jody and Mark offering their services. Rebecca and Jody discussed the role of a psychic medium in helping people heal and grow. Jody explained that a psychic medium creates a safe space for processing emotions, particularly when dealing with the loss of loved ones. They provide validations and advice about life circumstances, past, present, and future. Jody clarified that a psychic medium is sensitive to the energies around them and does not know everything, but rather stays connected to the spiritual world. The conversation also touched on the misconception that a psychic medium can provide lottery numbers or other specific information. Jody shared some inspiring stories about her experiences with clients. She recounted a session with a grieving mother who lost her child and how Jody's readings provided her with validations and a sense of connection to her son. Jody also shared an instance where she was guided to buy blue flowers, which were then given to a woman whose husband had recently passed away. The flowers were a significant reminder of their anniversary. Rebecca and Jody discuss the importance of intuition, trust, and faith in personal growth and healing. They emphasize that everyone possesses intuition, which needs to be nurtured and practiced. Forgiveness and letting go are crucial for maintaining a healthy nervous system and promoting growth. Jody shares her experiences as a psychic medium and her belief in the connection between the living and the deceased. They agree that everyone has their own belief system, and the focus should be on healing and becoming the best version of oneself. Catherine shares her resources and offered services as a remote piano teacher. Catherine runs Blossom Piano Studios, where she teaches remote private piano lessons to around 28 students weekly, including adults who can take lessons during lunch breaks. We share personal experience with the piano and how it has brought a sense of gratitude and connection with self and family. We both agree that music is a crucial part of childhood growth and development and continues to be beneficial throughout adulthood. Catherine created a journal called "Notes to Self" to help adults develop mindful and consistent practice habits. The journal prompts users to set daily intentions, plan practice sessions, and celebrate accomplishments. It aims to shift the mindset towards intentional practice in short bursts and finding joy in the process of learning new skills. The journal provides structure while encouraging self-reflection and a sense of achievement. Catherine shares her approach to teaching piano, emphasizing the need for students to reflect on their own progress and feel empowered to make improvements. She meets each client where they are, helps them understand what is happening in their body, and guides them in identifying changes that will help them experience the vitality they were missing. She lives in Slidell, Louisiana, with the love of her life, near her eight grandchildren. 4 Interview Questions: 1. What type of change do you support your clients in making? 2. How does your training in Applied Functional Medicine change the way you work with your clients? 3. How do you support your clients in making changes that facilitate healing? 4. What is a key hindrance to women’s (or general) health that you have seen? I published a book last year that helps cancer patients support the rest of their body (that doesn’t have cancer) to come through the treatment journey stronger. I don’t know whether you would want to talk about that focus, or stay with the normal health coaching aspect. If you want to touch on the cancer coaching, you could consider these questions: 1. What inspired you to write on the topic of cancer? 2. Once cancer is found, the medical team jumps into action – what other means of support is there for cancer patients? 3. Tell me more about the stresses experienced by cancer patients and the ways you guide them to manage them. Your Host Rebecca O’Rourke always adds the mind and behaviour aspects to the conversation. For more information on Rebecca’s programs for Change visit https://www.kawarthahypnosis.com or email [email protected] for a free screening. As Kelly said “We are a mind, body and spirit, and we need to support the whole approach” listen to this episode to find out the real Power that food has in your life. If you need help to make these changes please reach out to Kelly or Rebecca.

Sherry can guide you through the environmental aspects of pain management and Rebecca can guide you through the mind aspects. We both recognize that both are necessary for true healing and success. Most people have heard of a placebo before but don’t really understand it. Most people know how to distract themselves but have a hard time doing it with pain. And a lot of people are trying to help themselves without enough information about their bodies and environment. If you would like more information please reach out. You can find me Rebecca O’Rourke at https://www.kawarthahypnosis.com or email me directly - [email protected]. Please share this episode with someone you know that can use some help with pain management.
