emboldened: Living a bold Christian life

For a full Christian life we need to kill off our old self and put on the full armor of God.

What or who are you putting your trust in? Your answer determines your ability to control your thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

Jesus as a man spent 40 days in the wilderness. With God's strength and wisdom he obeyed the directive to fast.

The Lord wants a passionate believer but one who does the will of God above all in love.

Meekness and gentleness are defined not as weakness but power under control.

God throttled back His mightiness and power to become fully human. His gentleness was on display for all to see.

Do the people around you consider you dependable and trustworthy?

When you are in the inevitable troughs of life do you seek out the blessings or create and equally deep trough of faith?

God has never left you. He will never leave you. Can you say the same to Him?

God gives generously and freely. He asks us to do the same with goodness and kindness.

Our selfish ways are destructive -- we know because it's been implanted in our hearts. But the pull is so great. We need the saving grace of Jesus to keep us cleansed.

Who to you most admire and seek imitate?

Waiting patiently means taking action while we rest our hope in God. Pray.

The line is just as long for Christians and non-Christians. How will the world see you handling the wait?

Are you making decisions then asking God to bless those choices? You've got it all backwards my friend!

You cannot by worry, fear or anger add a single hour to your life. But God can make your life more peaceful.

Are you still living in a world where you still seek your will not God's? Your will will not bring you peacefulness, only discord.

Peace with God is like a treaty in war. When we accept Jesus as our savior, God signs on the dotted line and calls us friend.

When we find joy in the smallest gifts we can find joy in our trials. emboldened.net
