Faith Audio Arsenal | Already Wearing It
There are some battles you don’t prepare for when they arrive. You prepare before they arrive. That’s one of the things that struck me while studying the little 25-verse powerhouse we call Jude.Jude tells believers to:“contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.”— Jude 3, ESVContend. That’s not a particularly passive word. But as I kept reading, I realized Jude wasn’t handing Christians permission to become argumentative, angry, or obnoxious in the name of defending the truth.Quite the opposite.Build yourself up in the faith.Pray in the Holy Spirit.Remain in God’s love.Show mercy to those who doubt.Reach for those heading toward the fire.Know the truth.Live the truth. And when necessary, make the case for the truth. That brought me back—again—to the Armor of God.I’ve been trying to think about the armor differently lately.I don’t want it to be spiritual emergency equipment.Something I remember to put on only after I realize I’m in a battle.I want the armor to become so much a part of everyday discipleship that putting it on becomes as reflexive as getting dressed in the morning.Belt of Truth: Know the truth.Shoes of the Gospel of Peace: Carry the gospel.Shield of Faith: Trust God with the outcome.Wear them when you’re studying Scripture.Wear them when somebody challenges what you believe.Wear them when you’re trying to help someone who’s wandering.Wear them when you’re tempted to respond in anger.Wear them when you plant a seed and nothing seems to happen.Because the middle of the battle is a lousy time to discover you left your armor in the closet. That’s where this week’s Faith Audio Arsenal anthem came from. It’s called Already Wearing It.And unlike some of our heavier Battle List entries, this one surprised me.The music is simpler. Smoother. Catchier. A little heartland rock, a little singer-songwriter country, a little funk. And it works.Because the music gets out of the way and lets the message do the marching. This isn’t a song about looking for a fight. It’s about being ready when faithfulness requires us to stand. To know the truth. To make the case.To speak with grace. To show mercy. To trust God with the seed after we’ve planted it.And to remember that we’re not responsible for manufacturing the harvest. So when the moment comes...you don’t have to scramble around trying to figure out what to put on.You’re already wearing it.Apparently, some of the streaming platforms have an issue with the length of these posts, and the lyrics are truncated. So, I have decided to point you towards where you can find it on Suno to follow along with the lyrics if you want to do so. For this song, if you do, listen here for:“For the faith, not against the lost.”“Don't let my anger masquerade as zeal.”“Know the truth. Carry peace. Trust You with the harvest.”And the final reminder: “The battle didn't dress me. I came ready.”Turns out, following random word trails and turning them into theologytakes time. Faith Audio Arsenal | Faith List |Jesus, Give Me a New Story
Jesus asked a man who had been disabled for thirty-eight years a question that seems almost absurd:“Do you want to be healed?” — John 5:6Of course he does.Right? But maybe Jesus’ question reaches deeper than we first realize.Because healing changes things.Being made new means something old doesn’t get to remain the same. And sometimes we’re quite willing to ask Jesus to remove the pain while being considerably less enthusiastic about surrendering the parts of our old story we’ve learned to live with. That’s where this week’s Faith Audio Arsenal song began.Jesus, Give Me a New Story isn’t a victory song sung from the other side of transformation. It’s a prayer from somewhere in the middle.I believe. Help my unbelief.I surrender. Help me surrender. If my heart still wants the old life, Lord, teach my heart to want You better. And then something happens. The focus turns outward.Because Jesus doesn’t make us new merely so we can stand around admiring the renovations. There are people around us carrying questions.Somebody needs a seed planted.Something another believer planted may need watering.Someone may be wrestling with Jesus and isn’t ready to say, “I believe.”Maybe they’re only ready to whisper:“I think I want a new story.”That’s enough reason to enter the field. We don’t have to manufacture the harvest.Paul planted.Apollos watered.God gave the growth. So this week’s assignment is simple:Tell the truth.Trust the growth.Work the field.Bring the Word. And when Jesus says get up?Pick up your mat. We’ve got field work to do.Turn it up.This one’s a prayer with boots on.Lyrics:Jesus, Give Me a New Story[Verse 1]I’ve learned how to live with the things that I carryLearned every excuse, every reason to stayI ask You for healing, I ask You for freedomThen hold to the pieces You tell me to lay downYou ask me a questionI know what I should sayBut You know every cornerI try to hide away[Pre-Chorus]Do I want to be healed?Do I want to be new?Do I trust what You’re makingMore than what I’ve been through?[Chorus]Jesus, give me a new storyNot a better version of the oldTake the pages I’ve been holdingTake the things I won’t let goI don’t know where You will lead meI don’t know what comes from hereBut I know the One who’s callingAnd I trust You with my fearJesus, give me a new storyMake me new[Verse 2]I’ve carried my anger like I had a right toCalled my fear wisdom, called control being strongI’ve prayed, “Change the world, Lord,” while guarding my own heartWanting Your kingdom without changing my ownSo search me and show meWhat I still defendThe sins and the strongholdsI keep calling my friends[Pre-Chorus]I believe, help my unbeliefI surrender, help me surrenderIf my heart still wants the old lifeLord, teach my heart to want You better[Chorus]Jesus, give me a new storyNot a better version of the oldTake the pages I’ve been holdingTake the things I won’t let goI don’t know where You will lead meI don’t know what comes from hereBut I know the One who’s callingAnd I trust You with my fearJesus, give me a new storyMake me new[Bridge — building]A new heartA new creationA new lifeA new directionThe old has passedThe new has comeI don’t belongTo who I was[Drums build]So if You say rise—I’ll get upIf You say walk—I’ll moveIf You say follow—I’ll followJesus, I’m trusting You[Break — spoken]I planted.Another watered. But God gives the growth. So I’ll tell the truth.I’ll trust the growth.I’ll work the field.I’ll bring the Word. And I’ll leave God’s work—to God.[Verse 3]There’s someone beside me who’s carrying questionsNot ready for answers, but starting to seekI don’t have to save them, I don’t have to change themI only need courage to plant what You give meSo I’ll tell them of JesusI’ll listen and prayI’ll water what’s growingAnd trust You with what I can’t see[Pre-Chorus — variation]Maybe I’m plantingWhat another will reapMaybe I’m wateringA long-buried seedI don’t need the harvestTo prove I obeyedI’ll work in Your field, LordAnd trust You with what I can’t change[Final Chorus — full band / backing vocals]Jesus, give me a new storyNot a better version of the oldYou can have the pages I’ve been holdingYou can have what I won’t let goI don’t need to see where You’re leadingI just need to know You’re thereYou’re the One who makes things newSo I’m getting off this mat right hereJesus, give me a new storyJesus, make me new[Choir]MAKE ME NEWMAKE ME NEW[Lead]The old has passed away[Choir]MAKE ME NEW[Lead]Behold, the new has come[Choir]MAKE ME NEW[Outro — spoken over fading drums]Plant faithfully.Water patiently.Trust the growth. And when Jesus says get up...Pick up your mat. We’ve got field work to do. Faith Audio Arsenal |Battle List | Not Every BOOYAH Looks Like Fire
Everybody remembers Elijah calling down fire from heaven.BOOYAH.I mean, come on. If you’re going to get an assignment from God, Mount Carmel is a pretty spectacular one.But while reading 1 Kings 18 and 19 again, I noticed something I’d pretty much walked right past before.Obadiah.While Elijah was confronting the prophets of Baal in public, Obadiah had quietly risked his life hiding one hundred prophets of the LORD in caves and bringing them bread and water. And then there were the 7,000.Seven thousand people God knew had never bowed to Baal, even though Elijah didn’t know they were there.Three very different pictures of faithfulness. One called down fire. One carried bread.Seven thousand simply refused to bow.And God saw every one of them. That’s what this Faith Audio Arsenal track is about.Because sometimes your assignment will be visible.Sometimes nobody will know you did it.And sometimes faithfulness looks like nothing more dramatic than standing your ground when everything around you says, “Bow.”Don’t confuse visibility with significance.Whatever God puts in front of you, do it faithfully.Because not every BOOYAH looks like fire.Turn it up.Lyrics:Not Every BOOYAH Looks Like FireVerse 1He stood on the mountainWith a nation watchingOne altar soaked throughOne prayer risingNo answer from BaalNo voice, no replyThen Elijah called His nameAnd fire split the skyStone, dust, waterConsumed before their eyesThe people hit the ground“The LORD is God!” they criedPre-ChorusSometimes faith stands where everyone can seeSometimes God says, “Stand here with Me”Chorus[Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]Fire from the sky![Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]Watch the false gods hide![Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]But not every victory comes dressed in flameNot every faithful servant gets a famous name[Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]Whether loud or unseenOn the mountain, in the cave, anywhere in between[All]When God gives the mission, we answer the callStand firm, stay faithfulHe sees it allVerse 2While Elijah faced the kingdomObadiah worked insideA hundred hunted prophetsHad a place where they could hideBread carried in secretWater through the nightNo crowd ever cheeringNo altar burning brightIf Jezebel had found himHe knew what it could costStill he guarded what God treasuredWhen everything seemed lostPre-ChorusSometimes faith roars where everyone can seeSometimes faith carries bread quietlyChorus[Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]Fire from the sky![Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]Watch the false gods hide![Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]But not every victory comes dressed in flameNot every faithful servant gets a famous name[Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]Whether loud or unseenOn the mountain, in the cave, anywhere in between[All]When God gives the mission, we answer the callStand firm, stay faithfulHe sees it allVerse 3Then Elijah reached the desertSaying, “I’m the only one”Spent and worn and emptyThinking all the work was doneBut God knew every heartbeatEvery knee that would not bendSeven thousand still stood faithfulThough Elijah couldn’t see themNo headlinesNo applauseNo fire lighting up the nightJust seven thousand choosingNot to bow and leave the fightVerse 4Maybe yours is not the mountainMaybe no one knows your nameMaybe faith looks like stayingWhen the pressure says to changeMaybe God has called you forwardMaybe courage means “go now”Maybe all He asks today isStand your ground and do not bowFeed the few He puts before youSpeak the truth He gives to sayYou don’t need a crowd to matterYou just need to obeyBridgeBreastplate onStand righteousShoes readyGo when calledShield held highDo not bowMountain or caveSeen or unseenWhatever the assignmentLord, I’m YoursSend meBreakdownSome battles roarSome battles whisperSome faith gets seenSome faith stays hiddenSome carry fireSome carry breadSome simply standWhen the world says bendBut heaven knowsHeaven seesEvery faithful stepEvery unbowed kneeFinal Chorus[Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]When the fire comes down![Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]When there’s nobody around![Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]When you go where He sends youWhen you stand and don’t bow[Lead]BOOYAH![Choir]When obedience is all you have to show[All]You don’t need a mountainYou don’t need a crowdCarry the breadSpeak the truthStand your groundDifferent assignmentsOne Kingdom callStand firmStay faithfulGod sees it allSpoken OutroYou don’t need Mount Carmelto matter in the Kingdom.Sometimes God gives you fire.Sometimes He gives you bread and a cave.Sometimes He sends you forward.Sometimes He simply says:Do not bow.Your obedience may never make a headline.Heaven still sees it.So whatever He gives you—Go.Serve.Stand.Obey.[Lead, spoken]BOOYAH. Faith Audio Arsenal | Battle List | We Do NOT Give Up!
This weekend, I got hit with one of those stretches where you start wondering, “Okay, what exactly is going on here?”Within about twenty-four hours, I discovered that a job opportunity I had been excited about — one that looked like an incredible answer to prayer — was actually an elaborate scam.I learned that a friend’s father had died. And then another friend and her husband barely escaped when their home burned down — taking with it forty years of memories. It was one thing after another. And yes, I found myself thinking about spiritual warfare. But I also found myself thinking about something else.Faith does not mean we don’t get hit.Scripture never promised us that.In fact, Paul says almost exactly the opposite in 2 Corinthians 4.He says we can be afflicted.Perplexed.Persecuted.Struck down. Those things are real. But then he gives us the other half. Not crushed. Not despairing. Not abandoned. Not destroyed. And then, in verse 16, he says:“Therefore we do not give up.”That stopped me.Because maybe faith isn’t proven by how successfully we avoid the battle.Maybe sometimes faith is proven by what remains after the battle reaches us.Can I still say God is faithful when the answer I thought He gave me disappears? Can I still trust Him while I’m grieving? Can I still see His hand when I’m standing in the ashes of something I thought would always be there? And can I remember what He’s already done when I can’t yet see what He’s doing now?I’ve been calling those memories my Ebenezers — the places where I can look backward and say, “God met me there.”And I’ve got too many of them now to believe He’s going to abandon me here.So this episode — and the song that came out of it — isn’t about pretending the battle doesn’t hurt.It does. It’s about deciding who gets the final word.Afflicted?Yes.Crushed?No.Perplexed?Absolutely.Despairing?No.Struck down?Maybe.Destroyed? Not today.Because God is still faithful. And therefore...we do not give up.Lyrics:WE DO NOT GIVE UPInspired by 2 Corinthians 4:8–9, 16–18 and Ephesians 6:13[Intro — low, restrained]We felt the hit.We heard the news.We watched the plans fall through. But we know the God who brought us here. And we know what He can do.[Verse 1]Thought I saw the road unfolding,Thought the door was opening wide. Then the truth came through the shadows,And exposed what hid inside. But my hope was never anchoredTo a promise made by men.I’ve seen too many EbenezersTo believe He’ll fail me now.[Pre-Chorus]The battle doesn’t mean He’s gone. The fire doesn’t mean we’ve lost.We don’t measure His faithfulnessBy what the battle costs.[Chorus]Afflicted — but not crushed!Perplexed — but not despairing!Persecuted — not abandoned!Struck down — NOT DESTROYED!We may bend.We may bleed. We may grieve what we have lost. But Jesus Christ is still our Lord.WE DO NOT GIVE UP![Verse 2]Some are standing in the ashes,Where a lifetime stood before. Some are waking to an empty chair,And footsteps heard no more. Some are staring at the wreckageOf the future they had planned. But the God who held us yesterdayIs holding us where we stand.[Pre-Chorus]The battle doesn’t mean He’s gone. The darkness doesn’t own the night. We don’t need to see the endingTo know Who wins the fight.[Chorus]Afflicted — but not crushed!Perplexed — but not despairing!Persecuted — not abandoned!Struck down — NOT DESTROYED!We may bend.We may bleed. We may grieve what we have lost. But Jesus Christ is still our Lord.WE DO NOT GIVE UP![Bridge — building]You can shake what can be shaken. You can take what will not last. But you cannot take His promise. You cannot change His faithfulness. The Lord who held me yesterdayIs holding me today.I’ve seen too many EbenezersTo turn and walk away.[Breakdown — military cadence]When the armor feels heavy—STAND.When the answer hasn’t come—STAND.When the smoke has filled the sky—STAND.When you’re asking God, “Why?”—STAND.When you’ve done everything you know to do—STAND.[Spoken — Ephesians 6:13]“Having prepared everything...”STAND.[Final Chorus — full force]AFFLICTED!NOT CRUSHED!PERPLEXED!NOT DESPAIRING!PERSECUTED!NOT ABANDONED!STRUCK DOWN!NOT DESTROYED!We are pressed —BUT WE STILL PRAISE!We are wounded —BUT WE STILL TRUST!We are grieving —BUT WE STILL KNOW!OUR GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED US!What we see is temporary! What He promised is eternal! So let the whole battlefield hear us:WE.DO.NOT.GIVE.UP![Outro — music drops, single voice]Yesterday...He was faithful.Today...He is faithful.Tomorrow...He will still be faithful.[quiet]We do not give up. Faith Audio Arsenal | Battle List | Send Me Into the Field
This week’s FAA came straight out of the rabbit trail. If the harvest is plentiful, the Spirit has already been given, and the workers are still few, then maybe the question is not whether we feel qualified.Maybe it is whether we are willing.“Send Me Into the Field” is a battle anthem for that moment. Not for trying to save anyone ourselves. Not for forcing results. For planting.Praying.Going when God says go.And trusting Him with the growth.Turn it up.LyricsSend Me Into the FieldVerse 1I know the field is waitingI know the need is realBut fear can make me hesitateAnd silence starts to feelLike wisdom dressed in cautionLike waiting for a signWhile someone right in front of meMay be running out of timePre-ChorusYou never asked me to save themYou never said the growth was mineYou only asked me to be faithfulAnd trust Your Spirit with the timeChorusSend me into the fieldWhere the hurting hearts are waitingPut Your truth upon my lipsLet Your Spirit do the changingI can plant, I can prayI can go where You revealLord of the harvest, here I amSend me into the fieldVerse 2Let mercy mark my footstepsLet patience shape my toneLet peace become the evidenceThat I am not my ownUse every gift You’ve givenFor more than just my nameLet someone see the fruit of YouBefore I speak Your namePre-ChorusI do not have to force itI do not have to make it growGive me eyes to see the openingAnd courage when You say to goChorusSend me into the fieldWhere the hurting hearts are waitingPut Your truth upon my lipsLet Your Spirit do the changingI can plant, I can prayI can go where You revealLord of the harvest, here I amSend me into the fieldVerse 3When I cannot see the harvestWhen the ground looks hard and dryKeep me faithful with the seed, LordEven when I don’t know whySomeone else may do the wateringSomeone else may see it yieldI will trust You with the outcomeJust keep sending me into the fieldChorusSend me into the fieldWhere the hurting hearts are waitingPut Your truth upon my lipsLet Your Spirit do the changingI can plant, I can prayI can go where You revealLord of the harvest, here I amSend me into the fieldBridgeI plantYou give the growthI waterYou give the growthI speakYou give the growthI prayYou give the growthThe field is YoursThe harvest YoursThe glory Yours aloneBut if You need a willing workerLord, You know where I amFinal ChorusSend me into the fieldWhere the hurting hearts are waitingPut Your truth upon my lipsLet Your Spirit do the changingI can plant, I can prayI can go where You revealLord of the harvest, here I amSend me into the fieldOutroThe harvest is plentiful. The workers are few.Lord of the harvest—send me. Faith Audio Arsenal | Battle List| Ma'oz (Stronghold)
Some songs are meant to encourage. Some are meant to teach. And every once in a while, a song comes along that reminds you to stand your ground. This week’s Battle List anthem was inspired by a rabbit trail through the book of Nahum and one powerful Hebrew word: מָעוֹז (ma’oz, pronounced mah-OHZ).It means stronghold, fortress, or place of safety. In Nahum 1:7, God doesn’t simply offer His people protection—He declares that He Himself is their fortress. That’s a truth worth singing. So turn it up.Sing it loud. And the next time the world feels powerful and God seems quiet...Remember which one is temporary.Word Nerd Connectionמָעוֹז (ma’oz)Pronunciation: mah-OHZStrong’s H4581A fortress. Faith Audio Arsenal | Battle List | No Foothold
There are very few moments in Scripture where we’re told to give the devil something.Ephesians 4:27 tells us exactly what not to give him: a foothold. Most battles don’t begin with one dramatic decision. They begin with one unlocked window, one rationalized compromise, one “it’s not that big a deal.” Before long, what looked like a small concession becomes occupied territory. This week’s Battle List entry is a reminder that your life doesn’t belong to the enemy. It belongs to Christ. So check the doors. Check the windows. Tighten the armor. And if the enemy thinks he still has a mailing address at your house...It’s time to serve an eviction notice.Verse 1You said,“It’s only one little shortcut,Everybody does it anyway.”Funny thing about unlocked windows...They don’t stay invitations...They become entrances.I didn’t lose the battleAll in one dramatic scene. It started with“Just this once.”Pre-ChorusEvery compromiseLeaves a breadcrumb trail. The enemy doesn’t need ownership...He just needsA place to pitch a tent.ChorusNo foothold. No welcome mat.No spare keyHidden under my theology. No camping in the corners. No renting out my conscience. This house belongsTo Jesus Christ.Enemy...You’re gonna need another address.Verse 2I called it “being flexible.”He called it,“Excellent. We’ll start renovations Monday.”One loose thread...One loose belt...One loose doctrine...Funny how everything starts coming apartAt exactly the same place.Pre-ChorusHe’s patient. He doesn’t mindWinning one inch at a time.Because one inchEventually becomesYour living room.ChorusNo foothold. No guest room.No couch surfing in my thought life.No mailbox. No forwarding address.Occupied.By the King of Kings.BridgeEviction notice.Effective immediately.By the authorityOf Jesus Christ.Take your lies.Take your accusations.Take your counterfeit peace.Take your discount theology.Take your folding chair...And get off my property.BreakdownNot today. Not tomorrow. Not one square inch. The cross already paidFor this ground.Final ChorusNo foothold. No vacancy. No compromise disguisedAs common sense.Every door secured.Every window checked.Armor fastened.Mind renewed.Truth standing watch.Because the devilNever needed ownership...Just permission. And today...Permission denied. Download Your Own “Count The Stones” Sheet HereApparently, birthdays are traditionally when people give you things.I have decided not to totally cooperate. So I brought you ammunition. This year, instead of simply counting candles, I’ve been thinking about stones. Not the decorative kind. The biblical kind. The stones we stack in our memory because God did something we cannot afford to forget.Joshua had twelve stones carried out of the Jordan.Samuel raised a stone and called it Ebenezer:“Thus far the LORD has helped us.”And I’ve realized something.I have stones too.So do you.Places where God provided.Places where He redirected.Places where He carried us through something we were quite certain would flatten us.Places where the answer wasn’t what we expected, but His faithfulness remained. That is why, for my birthday, I wanted to give my paid subscribers something different.A new Faith Audio Arsenal Battle List song called “Count the Stones.”And a Battle Record worksheet to help you identify your own.Because the next time fear asks whether God can be trusted with what comes next, I want you to have an answer.Count the stones.Check the battle record.Remember who got you this far. Then pick up your armor and keep walking. Thus far, the LORD has helped us.And “thus far” means the story isn’t over yet.Lyrics:COUNT THE STONESFaith Audio Arsenal | Battle List[Verse 1]There was water where the road should beNo bridge ahead, no guaranteeJust one more step where faith had ledAnd a river waiting up aheadBut the feet went down and the waters movedGod made a way they could walk right throughTwelve stones came up from the riverbedSo no one would forget what God had done[Pre-Chorus]When the road ahead says, “You don’t know”Turn around and see how far you’ve comeYou’ve got evidence behind youPick it upRemember every one[Chorus]Count the stonesName the places God was faithfulCount the stonesEvery mercy, every rescueWhen fear asks,“Will He meet you here?”Don’t let the question stand aloneCheck the recordTell the storyCount the stones[Verse 2]Samuel stood where the battle had turnedNot because Israel’s strength had earnedOne stone raised between then and nowA witness standing on the groundEbenezer — “Thus far He helped”Not “nothing hard will come again”But the God who held us yesterdayIs still the God on whom we depend[Pre-Chorus]When the enemy edits historyAnd tells you God was never thereBring the truth back to the battlefieldMemory can answer fear[Chorus]Count the stonesName the places God was faithfulCount the stonesEvery mercy, every rescueWhen fear asks,“Will He meet you here?”Don’t let the question stand aloneCheck the recordTell the storyCount the stones[Verse 3]Some stones never made a monumentNo crowd was there, no story spreadJust a prayer whispered after midnightAnd enough strength to get out of bedA door slammed shut that became protectionA loss you still don’t understandA road you never would have chosenWhere somehow God still held your handNot every water partedNot every answer cameBut through every changing circumstanceThe Faithful One remained[Build]So stack the evidenceRaise it highNot to worship where you’ve beenEvery stone points past itselfTo the God who carried you through it[Bridge]Fear says, “What if He doesn’t?”Doubt says, “What if you fall?”The enemy starts rewritingLike God was never there at allCheck the battle recordBring the evidence inWho was God before the Jordan?Who was God when you stepped in?Who was there inside the waiting?Who sustained you through the loss?Who stayed faithful when the answerWasn’t what you would have asked?Same GodStill faithfulSame GodStill hereI don’t know what He will do nextBut I knowWHOHEIS[Breakdown]Count the stonesProvisionCount the stonesProtectionCount the stonesCorrectionCount the stonesSustaining graceEvery answered prayerEvery closed doorEvery wilderness where He gave you enoughEvery place you can look back and say—“Thus farthe LORDhas helped me.”[Final Chorus]COUNT THE STONESName the places God was faithfulCOUNT THE STONESLet remembrance answer fearWhen tomorrow stands before youAnd you cannot see the roadCheck the recordTell the storyCOUNTTHESTONESHe was faithful in the riverHe was faithful in the fightHe was faithful in the waitingHe was faithful through the nightI don’t need to know tomorrowTo know I do not walk aloneThus far the LORD has helped meSo I’ll countthe stones[Outro]One for the riverOne for the rescueOne for the answerOne for the “no”One for the door He openedOne for the one He closedOne for the day I thought I wouldn’t make itAnd one because—I’m still hereAnd He is still GodCount the stones. Faith Audio Arsenal | Battle List | Secure All Loose Theology
Some playlists help you relax. Some help you work out. This one may ask you to surrender your theological Crocs at the door.Welcome to the FT Battle List, a new special collection inside the Faith Audio Arsenal.Over time, I’ve found myself writing more songs centered on spiritual warfare, biblical battles, the Armor of God, discernment, resistance, endurance, and the victory we already have in Christ.Eventually, I realized these songs belonged together. Not because Christians need a soundtrack for running around looking for demons behind shrubbery. We don’t.But Scripture is clear that there is a spiritual battle. And if we’re going to stand in it, we should probably know what we believe, know what Scripture actually says, recognize the enemy’s tactics, and understand the equipment God has already given us.So the FT Battle List was born. These songs are designed to do more than sound good. They are meant to help put Scripture in your head.Truth in your memory. And biblical responses within reach when you actually need them. Some songs will take us directly into biblical battles.Others will expose tactics of deception, fear, temptation, accusation, or compromise. Some will focus on the Armor of God.Others will remind us of something the enemy would very much prefer we forget:Jesus has already won.And before we go any further, apparently we need a safety briefing.Because every good battle begins with a gear check. So, attention believers:Please secure all loose theology.Place all unsupported doctrines in the upright and locked position.Check your belt.Check your armor.Check your Gospel footwear.Yes, theological Crocs will be confiscated. And please locate the Sword of the Spirit nearest you. That would be the Word of God.Welcome to the FT Battle List.Track One: Secure All Loose Theology.Armor is required beyond this point.Armor up, Buttercup.Let’s go.LISTEN TO THE FULL FT BATTLE LISTNeed some lyrical ammunition? Faith Audio Arsenal | Thus Far
This week’s song was born from a simple realization:Sometimes you don’t fully understand what God has done until you stop long enough to look behind you.Over the last year and a half, I’ve walked through grief, uncertainty, loss, major life changes, a cross-country move, and more than a few moments where I had no idea how things were going to work out.Yet somehow, one step at a time, God kept making a way.Not always the way I expected. Not always on my timeline. But faithfully. This week’s theme has been After the Storm: Building an Ebenezer, inspired by Samuel’s declaration in 1 Samuel 7:12:“Thus far the LORD has helped us.”That’s exactly what this song is about. Not perfect circumstances. Not easy victories. Not having all the answers.Just the quiet confidence that comes from looking back and realizing God has been present through every mile, every loss, every blessing, and every unexpected provision. If you’re in a season of recovery, reflection, or simply trying to catch your breath after a difficult chapter, I hope this song reminds you of an important truth:You’re not standing here because you’ve never struggled. You’re standing here because God has been faithful. Thus far.The Lord has helped us.Because sometimes the strongest testimony isn’t found in what you’re facing today. It’s found in remembering Who carried you through yesterday.Faith Audio ArsenalLyrical ammo for the faithfully armored.THUS FARVerse 1I remember the nights when the answers were goneThe road felt endless, but I kept moving onBoxes and burdens stacked high to the skyPraying through tears, asking God whySome days were faith and some days were gritSome days I stumbled, but I wouldn’t quitDidn’t see the ending, couldn’t see how farBut You were still guiding by every scarPre-ChorusWhen I look behind me nowI can finally seeChorusThus far the Lord has helped meThrough every valley and every seaWhen I had nothing left to giveYour mercy taught my heart to liveStone by stone, grace by graceYou carried me through every placeThe storm may pass, but the truth stands tallThus far, Lord, You’ve done it allVerse 2There were goodbyes I never wanted to sayPeople and places I had to walk away from somedayDreams packed carefully into a PODTrusting somehow You were leading meThen came the road and the miles rolled byMountains and sunsets beneath Your skyEvery turn whispered what I’d always knownI was never traveling alonePre-ChorusNow the evidence remainsWritten everywhere I seeChorusThus far the Lord has helped meThrough every valley and every seaWhen I had nothing left to giveYour mercy taught my heart to liveStone by stone, grace by graceYou carried me through every placeThe storm may pass, but the truth stands tallThus far, Lord, You’ve done it allVerse 3You sent the hands before I knew the needFriends who showed up and helped me believeWhat looked impossible started falling in lineProof that Your timing is better than mineA cross in the clouds for a moment aboveA quiet reminder wrapped in Your loveLooking back now, it’s easy to seeYou were already there waiting for meBridgeI built my plans on shifting sandYou held me in Your stronger handWhen fear said stop and hope grew dimYou wrote a story deeper thanThe lossesThe questionsThe chapters I couldn’t understandNow I stand beside my EbenezerLooking at the places where You’ve beenChorusThus far the Lord has helped meThrough every valley and every seaWhen I had nothing left to giveYour mercy taught my heart to liveStone by stone, grace by graceYou carried me through every placeThe storm may pass, but the truth stands tallThus far, Lord, You’ve done it allOutroNot because the road was easyNot because I knew the wayNot because I never stumbledBut because You never changedThus far...The Lord has helped me. Faith Audio Arsenal | Traveling Mercies
Faith Audio ArsenalTraveling MerciesThis week’s song is for anyone standing between what was and what comes next. The Christian life is full of journeys. Some take us across the country.Others take us through grief, uncertainty, new beginnings, and seasons we never expected to walk.We often wish God would hand us a detailed map.Instead, He usually gives us something better:His presence.“Traveling Mercies” is a reminder that faith isn’t about knowing every turn in the road. It’s about trusting the One who already knows where the road leads. So whether you’re facing a major transition or simply trying to take the next faithful step, I hope this song reminds you of a simple truth:You don’t have to know the whole road.Just the One who walks every mile with you.Armor up, buttercup.Press play.Lyrics: Title: Traveling Mercies[Verse 1]I can see the miles behind meDust and tears along the wayRoads I never would have chosenNights I thought I’d lose my faithThere were valleys I walked through, tremblingQuestions hanging in the airBut every time I thought I’d fall apartI found You waiting there[Pre-Chorus]Looking back, I see Your fingerprintsOn every winding road[Chorus]Traveling merciesThat’s what You’ve given meNot a map of every mountainJust Your promise faithfullyWhen I couldn’t see tomorrowWhen I only had todayYou were lighting up the next stepShowing me the wayTraveling merciesThrough every joy and trialI don’t have to know the whole roadJust the One who’s walking every mile[Verse 2]There were prayers that seemed unansweredDoors that stayed completely closedThen suddenly, Your timing openedPaths I never would have knownYou’ve provided daily breadIn ways I didn’t understandAnd every chapter tells the storyOf Your faithful hand[Pre-Chorus]Looking back, I see Your fingerprintsOn every winding road[Chorus]Traveling merciesThat’s what You’ve given meNot a map of every mountainJust Your promise faithfullyWhen I couldn’t see tomorrowWhen I only had todayYou were lighting up the next stepShowing me the wayTraveling merciesThrough every joy and trialI don’t have to know the whole roadJust the One who’s walking every mile[Bridge]You were there in every goodbyeYou were there in every tearYou were there in every questionEven when the answers disappearedYou were there when hope felt distantYou were there when strength was smallAnd now I stand because You’ve carried meThrough every rise and fall[Chorus]Traveling merciesThat’s what You’ve given meNot a map of every mountainJust Your promise faithfullyWhen I couldn’t see tomorrowWhen I only had todayYou were lighting up the next stepShowing me the wayTraveling merciesThrough every joy and trialI don’t have to know the whole roadJust the One who’s walking every mile[Outro]The road keeps turningThe journey’s not completeBut the God who brought me this farWill guide my wandering feetTraveling merciesThat’s enough for meBecause the One who holds tomorrowIs already walking there with me This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Faith That Moves
This week’s Faith Audio Arsenal release is a little different. As this song goes live, there’s a good chance my friend Sue and I are somewhere on the long road between New York and Washington State, heading toward a new chapter neither of us can fully see yet. That feels fitting.Because this week’s song is about faith. Not the kind that lives comfortably inside a statement of belief. The kind that packs boxes.Says difficult goodbyes.Takes the next step when the entire map isn’t visible.Throughout this week’s posts, we explored the biblical meaning of faith, the Greek word pistis, and the difference between merely believing and truly trusting.“Faith That Moves” is the musical version of that conversation.A reminder that faith isn’t knowing every turn in the road.Faith is trusting the One who does.Turn it up, sing along, and keep moving forward.Lyrics:Title: Faith That MovesVerse 1I used to think that faith was knowingEvery answer, every planA neat little box full of certaintyHeld safely in my handsBut then the road kept turningAnd the signs were hard to readI found out trust is differentThan believing what I seePre-ChorusYou never promised me the whole mapYou never showed me every mileYou only asked for my next yesAnd walked with me the whole whileChorusFaith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrowFaith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into viewNot because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proofI keep moving forwardBecause I trust YouVerse 2Noah built when skies were clearAbraham left home behindPeter stepped out on the waterOne trembling step at a timeThe saints before us kept on walkingWithout seeing every turnThey placed their hope in Someone faithfulAnd watched His promises returnPre-ChorusYou never promised me the whole mapYou never showed me every mileYou only asked for my next yesAnd walked with me the whole whileChorusFaith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrowFaith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into viewNot because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proofI keep moving forwardBecause I trust YouVerse 3Boxes filled with yesterdayMiles waiting up aheadSomewhere between the old lifeAnd the unknown road insteadBut You’ve been there in every seasonThrough each loss and breakthrough tooSo I’ll keep taking one more stepAnd keep my eyes on YouPre-ChorusYou never promised me the whole mapYou never showed me every mileYou only asked for my next yesAnd walked with me the whole whileChorusFaith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrowFaith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into viewNot because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proofI keep moving forwardBecause I trust YouBridgeWhen the future feels uncertainWhen goodbye is hard to bearWhen the road stretches before meAnd I wonder what is thereYou are still the God who leads meYou are still the God who’s trueI don’t need to know tomorrowI just need to follow YouFinal ChorusFaith that movesFaith that followsFaith that walks when the path is narrowFaith that trustsWhen I can’t see throughThe valley, the storm, or what’s coming into viewNot because I know the wayNot because I’ve got the proofI keep moving forwardStep by stepDay by dayI keep moving forwardBecause I trust YouOutroNot merely believeTrustNot merely agreeFollowNot merely acknowledgeWalkFaith that moves This is a public episode. Everybody wants to make an impact. Most people just aren’t sure where to start. We live in a world that celebrates platforms, followers, influence, and visibility. The Kingdom of God often works differently. Many of the people who changed lives, strengthened believers, shared the gospel, and advanced God’s mission never stood behind a pulpit. They simply served where God placed them. This week’s anthem is for the prayer warriors nobody sees. The encouragers nobody applauds. The servants who show up when there’s work to be done. The ordinary believers doing extraordinary Kingdom work one faithful step at a time.Because you don’t need a title to obey a calling.Lyrics:I Don’t Need A Title[Verse 1]I spent years lookin’ for a platformWonderin’ where I fit inWaitin’ on a title and permissionBefore I would beginBut the call was never hiddenThe mission never changedJesus wasn’t lookin’ for spectatorsHe was callin’ us by name[Pre-Chorus]Some will teachSome will serveSome will leadSome will learnBut every heart surrenderedHas a purpose in the work[Chorus]I don’t need a titleTo answer when You callI don’t need a spotlightTo help someone stand tallYou’ve given me a missionRight where I am todaySo I’ll serve You where You’ve placed meAnd walk the narrow wayThe office may belong to a fewBut the mission belongs to us all[Verse 2]Some are preachin’ from the pulpitSome are prayin’ through the nightSome are teachin’ at a kitchen tablePointin’ someone toward the lightSome are holdin’ broken hearts upSome are speakin’ words of truthHeaven sees the hidden laborAnd the faithful things we do[Pre-Chorus]Some will sowSome will reapSome will standSome will weepBut every act of servicePlants a seed for eternity[Chorus]I don’t need a titleTo answer when You callI don’t need a spotlightTo help someone stand tallYou’ve given me a missionRight where I am todaySo I’ll serve You where You’ve placed meAnd walk the narrow wayThe office may belong to a fewBut the mission belongs to us all[Bridge]Not everybody gets a stageNot everybody gets applauseBut every prayerEvery kindnessEvery witnessEvery sacrificeIs written in the hands of GodNot everybody leads a crowdNot everybody wears a nameBut every servantEvery laborerEvery discipleEvery saintAdvances Heaven’s Kingdom just the same[Final Chorus]I don’t need a titleTo answer when You callI don’t need a spotlightTo help someone stand tallYou’ve given me a missionRight where I am todaySo I’ll serve You where You’ve placed meAnd walk the narrow wayThe office may belong to a fewBut the mission belongs to us all[Outro]So I’ll goAnd I’ll serveAnd I’ll trust You with the rest‘Cause the Kingdom moves forwardThrough the faithful and the blessedThe mission belongs to us all This is a public episode. Faithfully Thinking: Out Loud! | Cross the Line
You can agree with truth…highlight it…quote it…even post about it—and still not do a single thing with it.Which is impressive, honestly. We’ve gotten really good at feeling like we’ve made progress…without actually moving.Close enough to feel spiritual.Far enough to stay in control. This episode is about that line—the one between knowing…and actually stepping in.Because at some point…“that’s good” has to turn into“that changes me.”LyricsVerse 1I been standing at the edge too longKnow the truth but I play it calmSay the words but I hold the lineLike partial faith is still divineGot the light but I shade it downWear the name but I guard the crownSay “Lord, Lord” when it feels rightThen take it back when it costs my lifePre-ChorusI can feel it—this is itNo more halfway, no more splitTruth is calling, clear and loudTime to choose and step out nowChorusCross the line—no looking backAll in now, no holding thatWhat I kept, I lay it downYou’re the King—I drop the crownCross the line—this is the moveNot my will, I’m choosing YouNo more close, no in-betweenI was near—now I’m inVerse 2Talked a good game, knew the scriptQuoted truth but I edited itKept control in the finer printSigned my faith with a loophole in itSaid I trust but I held the keysKept a backup plan for meFunny how I called that wiseReally just fear in a suit and tiePre-ChorusI can feel it—this is itNo more halfway, no more splitTruth is cutting through the noiseTime to act, not just make a choiceChorusCross the line—no looking backAll in now, no holding thatWhat I kept, I lay it downYou’re the King—I drop the crownCross the line—this is the moveNot my will, I’m choosing YouNo more close, no in-betweenI was near—now I’m inVerse 3 What’s it worth if I stay the same?Know Your truth but don’t take the NameKeep the form but deny the powerStand at the door hour after hourNo more talk, no more delayNo more pushing truth awayIf You said it, that’s enoughI don’t need to dress it upBridge You don’t drift into surrenderYou decide itRight hereRight nowFinal Chorus Cross the line—no retreatAll of me at Your feetWhat I feared was losing groundNow I see what I’ve foundCross the line—fully YoursNot the edge anymoreNo more near, no pretendI was close—now I’m in This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Loose Straps
You ever notice how easy it is to agree with Scripture… until it says something you don’t like?Yeah. That’s usually where the editing starts. Not with scissors. Not with a red pen.Just a quiet thought:“That can’t be what God meant.”And from there?A verse gets softened.A passage gets skipped.A truth gets reshaped.Until one day you realize… you’re not standing on the full Word anymore. You’re standing on a version of it.And here’s the problem with that:The Armor of God?It doesn’t come in custom settings. It’s built on truth. All of it.So today, we’re doing an armor check.Because if your truth has been edited… your armor’s already loose. This is Loose Straps.Let’s get to work.Lyrics:Verse 1]You said that verse don’t sit right, cut it out cleanTrim the truth down till it fits what you meanHighlight reels, but you skip what it saysNow you buildin’ your faith on selective threadsLittle edits here, little silence thereTill the Word gets shaped to the life you wearBut the lines get blurred when you play that gameNow the truth sounds close, but it ain’t the same[Pre-Chorus]Started with a question, now it’s all revisedTruth got filtered through your own disguiseYou kept the parts that don’t confront your willNow the armor’s loose… and you standin’ still[Chorus]Loose straps, armor fallin’ offTruth bent back, now the edge is softYou can’t stand firm when the lines get crossedEdited Word… now you feel that costLoose straps, pieces hit the groundWhat felt strong ain’t holdin’ nowYou can’t fight right when the truth’s watered downTighten up… or you’re goin’ down[Verse 2]“Did He really say?” yeah, same old lineJust dressed it up with a sharper mindNow it sounds deep, sounds real refinedBut it’s still the same doubt redefinedYou want a Jesus who agrees with youNot the One who sees and speaks truth throughSo you soften words, make the hard ones bendTill conviction fades and the edits win[Pre-Chorus]You don’t toss the Word, you just rearrangeTill the parts that challenge you get exchangedBut a custom truth don’t hold its weightWhen the pressure hits and you test that faith[Chorus]Loose straps, armor fallin’ offTruth bent back, now the edge is softYou can’t stand firm when the lines get crossedEdited Word… now you feel that costLoose straps, pieces hit the groundWhat felt strong ain’t holdin’ nowYou can’t fight right when the truth’s watered downTighten up… or you’re goin’ down[Verse 3]Sword got dull when the text got trimmedNow you swingin’ air, not cuttin’ sinShield got cracks from a shaken baseFaith don’t stand when it shifts its placeHelmet loose when the truth gets blurredNow you question what you once had heardBreastplate light ‘cause the lines got movedNow “right” feels right, but it’s self-approved[Bridge]Word was solid, never needed changeYou just hit resistance and rearrangedBut the fight don’t pause for your comfort zoneAnd the truth don’t shift just ‘cause it’s your own[Chorus – Final (with Choir)]Loose straps, armor fallin’ offTruth stands firm even when it’s toughYou can’t rewrite what was set aboveStand in full… or you stand with noneLoose straps, hear the warning nowTighten truth, take your groundWhen the real fight comes, don’t let it be foundThat you traded truth just to feel unbound[Outro – Spoken / Soft Vocal]Check your armor…Check your source…Truth don’t need editing…It needs obedience. Faith Audio Arsenal | Hold Me Here
So let me guess. You decided to take your faith seriously…and everything immediately got harder.Cool.Great timing. That’s usually where people assume they messed up.Like somehow obedience was supposed to come with a smooth ride and zero resistance. But Scripture says something very different. It says: stay.Remain.Don’t leave just because it got uncomfortable. This song is for that exact moment. When quitting starts to sound reasonable…and staying becomes the real fight.Lyrics:[Intro – Spoken]When the pressure rises…and everything in you wants to walk away—remember this:You are not standing alone.[Verse 1]When the weight of it all comes down And the noise gets loud all around When the path I knew feels unclear And every voice says disappear You call me deeper, not away You anchor me when I would sway In the fire, You are near You are why I’m still here [Chorus]You hold me here, I will remain Not by my strength, but in Your name When I am weak, You are my shield I do not run, I do not yield You fight for me, You make me stand I’m held secure within Your hand Through every trial, through every fear You hold me here [Verse 2]When the lies start closing in And the doubt begins again When the battle hits my mind And the truth feels hard to find Your Word cuts through the dark of night Your Spirit keeps my focus right Every whisper of Your voice Reminds me this is still my choice [Chorus]You hold me here, I will remain Not by my strength, but in Your name When I am weak, You are my shield I do not run, I do not yield You fight for me, You make me stand I’m held secure within Your hand Through every trial, through every fear You hold me here [Bridge]I will not step out of Your will I will be quiet, I will be still Even here, You are at work Even now, You break the curse No weapon formed will make me move No fear will take me out of You This ground is Yours, this place is true And I will stay, because of You [Verse 3]This isn’t me just holding on This is Your power making me strong What tried to shake me only proved That I am held, I am not moved [Final Chorus]You hold me here, I will remain Not by my strength, but in Your name When I am weak, You are my shield I do not run, I do not yield You fight for me, You make me stand I’m held secure within Your hand Through every trial, through every fear You hold me here [Outro]Not by might. Not by power. But by Your Spirit.I remain. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit scbailey.substack.com/subscribe

Faith Audio Arsenal | He Knew and He Stayed
He knew. Before the cross. Before the pain. Before the weight of every sin pressed in—He knew exactly what it would cost Him.He knew the betrayal. The mocking. The suffering. He knew the moment would come when He could have stopped it.Walked away.Called it off.Refused the cup.But He didn’t.He stayed. Not because He had to.Because He chose to.And that’s what makes the cross so powerful. Not just that He died……but that He knew—and went anyway. And the story doesn’t end there. He rose.He called. He sent.He didn’t just secure your salvation. He invited you into something more.To go.To speak. To build. To walk this out.Not alone.Never alone. He promised His Spirit would guide you.Strengthen you.Walk with you through every hesitant step. And here’s the part that still gets me:He knew what He was getting. All of it.The hesitation. The doubt. The learning curve. And He called you anyway. This song is about that love. The kind that stays. The kind that calls. The kind that finishes what it starts.Lyrics: [Intro – Spoken Word]He knew. Before the nails. Before the crowd. Before the weight of every sin pressed down…He knew. And still… He went.[Verse 1]He saw the cross before the hillFelt every wound, endured it stillThe weight of sin, the cost, the painAnd chose to bear it all in my nameHe heard the lies, the mocking cryFelt every tear He’d soon supplyAnd still He walked that road for meLove held Him there… not nails or tree[Chorus]He knew… and He stayedLove didn’t walk awayThrough the pain, through the graveHe finished what He came to saveHe rose… and He callsThrough the rise and the fallNot alone… not afraidHe knew… and He stayed[Verse 2]He could have called the angels downCould have refused that thorned crownBut mercy chose to take my placeAnd justice bowed to endless graceThe final breath, the sky went dimThe veil was torn because of Him“It is finished,” victory criedDeath was broken when He died[Chorus]He knew… and He stayedLove didn’t walk awayThrough the pain, through the graveHe finished what He came to saveHe rose… and He callsThrough the rise and the fallNot alone… not afraidHe knew… and He stayed[Verse 3]He walked out of the borrowed tombTurned mourning into living proofAnd spoke with power, calm and clear“Now go… I’ll always meet you there”Go tell the world what love has doneMake disciples, every oneAnd I will send My Spirit nearYou won’t walk out this calling in fear[Bridge]He knew my heart, my doubt, my shameStill called me out and spoke my nameNot surprised by what I’d beStill chose to walk this out with meAnd when I fall, He won’t departHe holds the end from where I startThrough every step, through every scarHe finishes what He begins in us[Verse 4]And when I stand before His throneNot by my strength, but His aloneIf I endure, if I remainThrough every trial, through every flameI’ll see the One who bore my sinThe scars that bought my life withinAnd hear Him say, with open arms“Well done, My child… you made it home.”[Final Chorus]He knew… and He stayedLove didn’t walk awayThrough the pain, through the graveHe finished what He came to saveHe rose… and He callsThrough the rise and the fallNot alone… not afraidHe knew… and He stayed[Outro]He knew…And still…He chose you. It’s 3:00 PM.The sky has gone dark. The crowd is restless. And everything about this moment looks like loss.No celebration. No clarity. No visible victory.Just a cross. But Jesus didn’t say, “It’s over.”He said:“It is finished.”John 19:30This song sits in that moment. The one that didn’t make sense yet.The one that looked like defeat. The one where everything shifted—whether anyone realized it or not.Because what was finished in that silence…was bigger than anything we could see.Lyrics: “Finished in the Silence”[Spoken Intro – soft, reverent, cinematic]It’s 3 PM.The sky is dark…The crowd is loud…And heaven is quiet. This doesn’t look like victory. But looks… can be deceiving.[Verse 1]Blood on the ground, thorns on His headBreath getting short with each word He saidNails in His hands, weight on His chestCrowd looking on like this is the endDarkness fell over all the landNothing went according to planHope felt buried, hearts gave waySilence filled that final day[Pre-Chorus]But what they saw…Was not the truth[Chorus]It was finished in the silenceFinished in the painWhat looked like defeatWas a victory proclaimedNo crown on His headNo throne in sightBut hell felt the shiftIn that darkest nightIt was finishedIt was doneThe battle was won[Verse 2]Torn veil falling, earth gave a shakeGraves about to open and breakPower shifting, chains gave wayEven death had lost its sayThey didn’t see what heaven knewThis was always what He’d doNot a moment out of placeThis was mercy wrapped in grace[Pre-Chorus]What looked like loss…Was heaven’s move[Chorus]It was finished in the silenceFinished in the painWhat looked like defeatWas a victory proclaimedNo crown on His headNo throne in sightBut hell felt the shiftIn that darkest nightIt was finishedIt was doneThe battle was won[Verse 3 — Shift to Authority]Sin lost its claim, debt erasedTruth stood firm in mercy’s placeRulers shaken, stripped of rightAuthority changed hands that nightNot just rescue, not just graceThis was power taking placeKingdom sealed and line redrawnNew creation had begun[Bridge — Build Intensity]You said “finished” — and it standsNot by will of broken manNot undone by doubt or fearWhat You spoke is settled hereWe don’t fight to earn the groundWe stand firm where grace is foundVictory is not aheadIt was sealed when You bled[Chorus — Full Power]It was finished in the silenceFinished in the painWhat looked like defeatWas a victory proclaimedNow the crown is on Your headNow the stone is rolled awayWhat was sealed in darkest nightBurst alive in risen dayIt is finishedIt is doneYou have overcome[Outro — Strong, calm, declarative]It didn’t look like victory…But it was.It is finished. Faith Audio Arsenal | Not My Will
This week’s song sits in one of the heaviest moments in Scripture. Not the cross itself. The decision before it.Gethsemane.Where Jesus didn’t pretend the cost was small…didn’t rush past the weight…and didn’t deny what He felt.He brought it to the Father. And then chose surrender.“Not My will… but Yours.”This song captures that moment.Because surrender isn’t about losing your will. It’s about trusting God’s more.Lyrics[Intro – soft piano, spoken or gentle vocal]In the silence of the gardenWhere the weight of night fell downThere was a choice before the crossBefore the thorn and crown[Verse 1]Alone beneath the olive treesThe shadows closing inThe weight of what was comingPressed against His skinA path He knew was waitingA cup He had to faceAnd every step was leadingTo the place of saving grace[Pre-Chorus]If there’s another wayLet it be shownBut even in the askingHe was not alone[Chorus]Not my willYours be doneEven when the road is hard to runNot my willI will standTrusting in the Father’s handThrough the fearThrough the costThrough the shadow of the crossNot my willYours be doneThe victory has already begun[Verse 2]The silence held the answerNot the one He’d chooseBut love was never measuredBy what He could refuseThe path was set before HimThe price was fully knownAnd still He chose surrenderTo a will above His own[Pre-Chorus]No turning from the callNo stepping back in fearThe weight of all redemptionWas drawing ever near[Chorus]Not my willYours be doneEven when the road is hard to runNot my willI will standTrusting in the Father’s handThrough the fearThrough the costThrough the shadow of the crossNot my willYours be doneThe victory has already begun[Verse 3]Now I stand in my own nightWith decisions in my handsWanting easy answersWanting safer plansBut the echo of the gardenStill calls me to releaseEvery grip of controlFor a deeper kind of peace[Pre-Chorus]I don’t see the endBut I know the wayThe same God who held HimIs holding me today[Chorus]Not my willYours be doneEven when the road is hard to runNot my willI will standTrusting in the Father’s handThrough the fearThrough the costThrough the shadow of the crossNot my willYours be doneThe victory has already begun[Verse 4]Through the breaking of the morningThrough the rising of the lightWhat was chosen in the darknessNow is shining through the fightEvery step of surrenderWas not in vainFor the path that led through sufferingNow leads into the reign[Bridge – build, emotional lift]Lay it downEvery fearEvery question lingering hereTrust the OneWho can seeEvery step beyond what I can beThrough the nightTo the dawnThrough the breaking of the stormSurrender nowStand in graceThere is purpose in this place[Final Chorus – full instrumentation]Not my willYours be doneEven when the fight has just begunNot my willI will standHeld within the Father’s handThrough the fearThrough the costThrough the shadow of the crossNot my willYours be doneThe victory has already been won[Outro – soft resolve]Not my will…Yours…And in surrenderPeace comes This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Eyes Up
This week’s articles kept circling back to one simple but difficult truth.Human beings do not like surrender. We prefer control. Plans. Strategies. Backup plans for the backup plans. If a problem appears, our instinct is usually to tighten our grip and try to solve it ourselves. But Scripture repeatedly tells a different story. In Numbers 21, Israel faced a crisis in the wilderness. Venomous serpents spread through the camp, and God’s remedy seemed almost absurdly simple.A bronze serpent lifted on a pole.Look.And live.Healing came not through human control but through trust in what God had already provided.Centuries later, Jesus pointed directly back to that moment and said it was pointing to Him. Just as the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness, the Son of Man would be lifted up so that all who look to Him might live. The pattern is the same today. When life feels chaotic, the instinct is to stare at the problem. Scripture invites us to do something different.Lift our eyes. This song was written to capture that moment of decision — the moment where surrender becomes trust, and trust becomes peace.Lyrics[Intro]When the night grows heavyAnd the road grows steepWhen the future whispersPromises it cannot keepThere’s a voice still callingThrough the noise and fearA quiet invitationSaying mercy still is here[Verse 1]In the desert of questionsWhere the weary hearts would roamBread from heaven fallingStill they said they felt aloneThen the serpents started strikingThrough the camp of restless criesGod raised up a remedyAnd said, “Look up and live… lift your eyes.”[Pre-Chorus]When the answer seems too simpleWhen the healing seems too smallFaith begins the momentWe surrender it all[Chorus]Eyes upLook to the crossThe place where mercy won the warEyes upTrust in the OneWho knew the ending long beforeWhen fear says fight this world aloneAnd hope feels nearly goneLift your eyesThe victory’s already won[Verse 2]In a garden late at midnightWhere the olive shadows fellThe Son knelt down in silenceKnowing very wellThat the road would lead through sufferingAnd the nails would pierce His handsYet He whispered to the Father“I will trust Your greater plans.”[Pre-Chorus]When surrender feels like breakingWhen the cost feels far too highGrace begins to moveWhen we trust the reason why[Chorus]Eyes upLook to the crossThe place where mercy won the warEyes upTrust in the OneWho knew the ending long beforeWhen fear says fight this world aloneAnd hope feels nearly goneLift your eyesThe victory’s already won[Verse 3]Now the battle still surrounds usEvery heart must choose its groundWill we cling to our controlOr let the walls fall downPeace is not the absenceOf the storms that rage withinIt is knowing Christ is strongerThan the wars we cannot win[Bridge]Lay it downRelease the fightPlace the battle in His hands tonightStand in faithHold the lineTrust the Author of all timeThe cross still stands above the stormThe empty grave rewrites the war[Final Chorus]Eyes upLook to the crossWhere love defeated every graveEyes upTrust in the OneWhose power reaches down to saveWhen darkness tries to steal the dawnAnd hope feels almost goneLift your eyesThe victory’s already won[Outro]Lift your eyesLook and liveGrace has already made the wayLay it downStand in peaceThe King is still alive today This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Stand in the Test
This week we explored the word peirasmos—those moments when testing and temptation collide. The wilderness is often where identity gets questioned and obedience gets stretched. But Scripture shows us something powerful: the desert doesn’t decide who we are.God already has.In Matthew 4, Satan tried repeatedly to provoke Jesus into proving His identity. But Jesus didn’t negotiate, panic, or try to impress anyone. He simply stood on the truth the Father had already spoken.Testing did not define Him.Obedience revealed Him.This song is a reminder that when pressure rises, believers don’t need to prove themselves. We simply need to stand on the truth God has already spoken.Sometimes the most powerful act of faith is simple:Stand in the test.Lyrics:Stand in the TestVerse 1Wind in the desert, silence in the sandQuestions rise like shadows across the landWhispers in the darkness try to bend the line“Are you really His? Is His promise mine?”Pre-ChorusBut truth was spoken long before the fightA voice from heaven called me into lightChorusI will stand in the testWhen the pressure tries my soulTruth inside my chestIs stronger than the stormI know who I amI know whose I’ll confessThrough the fire I will standI will stand in the testVerse 2Bread in the wilderness, stones in my handShortcuts calling from the shifting sandPower without patience, glory without the crossBut every easy kingdom comes with hidden costPre-ChorusThe Word is sharper than the enemy’s liesAnd every promise still defines my lifeChorusI will stand in the testWhen the pressure tries my soulTruth inside my chestIs stronger than the stormI know who I amI know whose I’ll confessThrough the fire I will standI will stand in the testVerse 3“If You are the Son…” the tempter tries againIdentity questioned in the desert windBut heaven already spoke before the fightNo lie can steal what God declared as rightPre-ChorusThe wilderness may test what I believeBut it cannot rewrite who God says I will beChorusI will stand in the testWhen the pressure tries my soulTruth inside my chestIs stronger than the stormI know who I amI know whose I’ll confessThrough the fire I will standI will stand in the testVerse 4The storm moves on, the desert grows stillThe test is done but the call stands realAngels near where the battle was pressedStrength returns to the soul that confessedTruth held firm when the trial came nearFaith stood strong when the path wasn’t clearWhat was hidden the fire expressedHeaven sees who will stand in the testBridgeTemptation whispersTesting revealsFaith grows strongerWhen obedience kneelsDesert winds risingBut truth remainsThe enemy tremblesWhen faith sustainsFinal ChorusI will stand in the testLet the desert shake the groundTruth inside my chestIs where my strength is foundI know who I amBy the Word I am addressedThrough the fire I will standI will stand in the testOutroThe storm may questionThe sand may pressBut the child of GodWill stand in the test This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Refined, Not Rejected
This week we looked in the mirror. We examined drift. We distinguished conviction from condemnation. We revisited righteousness as armor — worn, not earned. But theology alone doesn’t always steady the heart.Sometimes truth needs melody.Refined, Not Rejected was written as an anthem for those who feel the weight of refinement and mistake it for rejection. It is a reminder that exposure is not eviction. Conviction is not cancellation. Testing is not targeting. The fire reveals — but it does not redefine who you are in Christ. This song anchors the listener in two realities:* Christ’s righteousness secures your identity.* God refines what He intends to strengthen. If you have felt heavy under examination, this anthem is meant to recalibrate you.You are not under spiritual annihilation. You are under formation.Turn it up. Let the truth settle deeper than the accusation.Stand steady.Lyrics:Refined, Not RejectedVerse 1I stood before the mirrorTruth in steady lightEvery flaw uncoveredNothing left to hideNo thunder in the silenceNo gavel in the roomJust mercy drawing closerIn the heat that makes me newChorusRefined, not rejectedShaped, not cast asideCovered in a righteousnessI never had to buyThe fire shows what’s hiddenBut it cannot steal my nameI am formed, not forsakenRefined in Jesus’ nameVerse 2When accusation whispers“You’ve failed again, you see”I answer with the promiseOf what He’s made of meConviction cuts with kindnessCondemnation tries to bindBut truth has marked my standingAnd His grace has sealed my mindChorusRefined, not rejectedShaped, not cast asideCovered in a righteousnessI never had to buyThe fire shows what’s hiddenBut it cannot steal my nameI am formed, not forsakenRefined in Jesus’ nameVerse 3The furnace isn’t furyIt’s the refiner’s artImpurities are risingBut they never were my heartWhat’s rooted in the SaviorWill never be undoneThe flame reveals the weaknessBut the cross has already wonVerse 4I won’t retreat from testingI won’t collapse in fearThe One who walks beside meIs standing with me hereHe disciplines with purposeHe steadies what will standAnd what survives the fireIs shaped by nail-scarred handsChorusRefined, not rejectedShaped, not cast asideCovered in a righteousnessI never had to buyThe fire shows what’s hiddenBut it cannot steal my nameI am formed, not forsakenRefined in Jesus’ nameBridgeNot condemnedNot undoneStill His childStill His sonStill His daughterStill secureWhat He startsHe will matureHeat may riseBut I remainHeld withinHis righteous nameFinal Chorus (Lift)Refined, not rejectedStrengthened by the flameEvery scar a testimonyOf the power in His nameThe fire is not my endingIt’s forming who I’ll beRefined, not rejectedAnd standing firm in TheeOutro (Soft, Resolute)Refined…Not rejected…Refined…Still protected…Formed by mercyHeld by graceStanding steadyFace to face This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Still in the Field
There are seasons in the Christian life that do not feel dramatic. No breakthroughs. No visible victories. No sudden rescue.Just repetition. This week’s Battle Brief focused on gleaning — the kind of obedience that bends down and gathers what God has left in the margins. It is steady. It is unseen. It is often misunderstood.Ruth did not leap from loss to redemption. She walked through a field. She showed up.She worked. She trusted. And redemption met her there.“Still in the Field” was written for the seasons when faith feels ordinary. When staying feels harder than striving. When the temptation is not rebellion — but quiet withdrawal. This is an anthem for formation. For holding ground. For refusing to self-evacuate when the chapter lacks spectacle. The Redeemer works in fields.Stay in position.Lyrics:Still in the Field(Faith Audio Arsenal – Formation Anthem)Verse 1Sun on my shoulders, dust in the airNothing is flashy, no one is thereBending and gathering what I can holdLeftover mercy, grain made of goldMorning to evening, same stretch of landNo headline moment, just dirt in my handsBut I will not call this season delayThe field is the place where You shape me to stayPre-ChorusI don’t see the harvestI don’t see the planBut I know the AuthorAnd I trust His handChorusI’m still in the fieldStill under Your skyStill standing my groundStill lifting my eyesIf this is formationThen let it be realI won’t walk awayI’m still in the fieldVerse 2Others are reaping, barns filling fastI’m learning endurance that’s built to lastNo trumpet sounding, no crowd to seeJust quiet obedience training meYou wrote redemption in margins wideYou hid Your promise in the undersideOf days that looked like nothing newBut every small step led back to YouPre-ChorusI don’t need the fireworksI don’t need applauseJust give me the courageTo trust Your lawsChorusI’m still in the fieldStill under Your skyStill standing my groundStill lifting my eyesIf this is formationThen let it be realI won’t walk awayI’m still in the fieldVerse 3There’s a Redeemer walking the landI may not see Him, but He sees where I standI gather in faith what You leave for the dayAnd trust You are closer than sight can conveyWhat looks like leftovers under the sunMay be the line where the victory’s wonSo I will not measure worth by the yieldYou work in the quietYou work in the fieldBridgeNot by spectacleNot by mightBut steady obedienceDay and nightNot by noiseNot by fameBut covenant mercyIn Your NameVerse 4History turns on quieter groundWhere faith is planted and roots go downIf Ruth could trust in dust and heatThen I can stay on assigned feetYou built provision into the edgeYou wrote redemption into the hedgeSo I will remain where I am sealedUnder Your promiseStill in the fieldFinal Chorus I’m still in the fieldStill under Your skyStill holding the lineStill lifting my eyesIf this is formationThen let it be realI won’t self-evacuateI’m still in the field This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | The Lord is a Warrior
There are moments in Scripture where worship is quiet. This is not one of them.Exodus 15 is what happens when God delivers His people in a way no one could manufacture, manipulate, or fake. The Red Sea parts. The enemy collapses. The impossible becomes memory. And then they sing.I wrote this song because we forget that praise is sometimes born in warfare. We like gentle worship. We like reflective worship. But Scripture also gives us victory songs. Songs that remember what God destroyed. Songs that declare who He is when fear has just been drowned. This is not a revenge anthem. It is a declaration. The Lord fights for His people. The Lord is unmatched. The Lord reigns forever. If you are walking through something that feels like the sea in front of you and pressure behind you, this song is meant to remind you:God is not intimidated.God is not scrambling.God is not late.He is a warrior. And He still reigns.Lyrics:The Lord is a WarriorVerse 1I will sing to the Lord Most HighFor He has triumphed gloriouslyHorse and rider swept awayBy the power of His mighty handThe sea stood up at His commandThe waters bowed, the path was clearThe enemy chased, but hope stood firmFor the Lord Himself went before usPre-ChorusThe depths rose up, the wind obeyedThe breath of God became our wayWhat stood against us could not standWhen freedom moved at His commandChorusThe Lord is a warriorThe Lord is His nameStrong in battle, unmatched in powerForever the sameWho is like You, Lord, in glory and might?Who is like You, holy and just? You reign forever, undefeated KingIn You we place our trustVerse 2The enemy said, “I will pursueI will divide the spoil and take”But You blew once and the sea returnedAnd pride was swallowed by the wavesThey sank like stone beneath Your handNo strength could match Your righteous armYou shattered those who rose in hateAnd guarded those You chose to savePre-Chorus 2Your right hand, Lord, is strong and trueYour right hand breaks what’s set against YouFear fell on nations far and wideWhen they heard what You had doneChorusThe Lord is a warriorThe Lord is His nameStrong in battle, unmatched in powerForever the sameWho is like You, Lord, in glory and might?Who is like You, holy and just? You reign forever, undefeated KingIn You we place our trustBridgeYou led Your people with faithful loveRedeemed by mercy, held by graceYou guided them with holy strengthTo the dwelling of Your nameTerror fell, the mighty shookHearts grew still at what they sawUntil Your people passed through safelyBy the power of Your lawBreak / Spoken or Sung (optional)The Lord reignsForever and everThe Lord reignsForever and everFinal ChorusThe Lord is a warriorThe Lord is His nameNo throne higher, no power greaterNo rival remainsWho is like You, Lord, in glory and might?Who is like You, holy and just? You reign forever, undefeated KingIn You we place our trustOutroYou will plant us where You chooseIn the place Your hands preparedThe Lord will reign forevermoreOur victory declared This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Go Anyway
We tend to remember Moses after everything worked.Staff raised.Sea parted.Victory secured. But Exodus tells a messier truth.Moses didn’t feel confident. He didn’t feel capable. He didn’t even want the assignment. He argued with God.He named his limitations. He asked God—more than once—to send someone else. And still… God said, It’s gotta be you. This song lives in that moment before obedience feels noble. Before faith feels calm. Before anything looks resolved. That’s why it doesn’t sound gentle. The industrial grit. The protest energy. The stomp-stomp-clap that refuses to smooth itself out. That’s not rebellion—it’s resistance being dragged forward by obedience. This track isn’t about confidence. It’s about going anyway.About showing up with doubts intact.About needing help.About repeating the same hard step because God hasn’t changed the call. This is what obedience sounds like before it feels holy.Press play.Lyrics: “Go Anyway” Verse 1I said, Lord, You’ve got the wrong nameI don’t stand tall, I don’t speak cleanI see the cracks before the callingI know exactly what I’m not meant to beYou didn’t praise my hesitationYou didn’t flatter what I lackYou just stood firm in the silenceAnd told me there was no way backPre-ChorusI thought faith would feel like courageTurns out it feels like standing stillWhile You keep pointing at the doorwaySaying, Go—whether you will or won’tChorusSo I’ll go anywayNot because I’m readyI’ll walk anywayNot because I’m braveI don’t feel strongI don’t feel sureBut obedience movesWhen confidence never shows up at allSo I’ll go anywayVerse 2I said, Lord, what if they don’t listenWhat if they see right through my fearWhat if my voice just falls apartWhen truth is supposed to sound clearYou said, truth doesn’t need performanceAnd power doesn’t need my toneI’m not asking for your certaintyI’m asking for your yes—then goPre-ChorusYou don’t wait for my agreementYou don’t argue me convincedYou just keep naming me the oneEven when I’m still resisting itChorusSo I’ll go anywayWith my doubts still breathingI’ll stand anywayWith my hands still shakingI don’t feel chosenI don’t feel strongBut obedience walksEven when confidence is goneSo I’ll go anywayVerse 3You gave me help when I protestedA voice when mine ran dryYou didn’t change the destinationYou just sent someone to stand besideYou never asked me to be fearlessYou never asked me to be loudYou asked me not to disappearWhen calling pressed too hardBridgeMaybe faith is not assuranceMaybe it’s refusing to retreatMaybe confidence is optionalBut obedience still has feetMaybe seas don’t part on courageMaybe hearts resist and stallMaybe faith is just returningEvery time You callChorusSo I’ll go anywayNot feeling worthyI’ll walk anywayStill uncertainI don’t need courageI don’t need a signI just need to trustThat You already knew my mindSo I’ll go anywayOutroI won’t wait to feel convincedOr bold or justifiedI’ll go like Moses went—Reluctant… but aliveIf You say it’s gotta be meThen that’s enough todayI don’t need confidence, LordI’ll go anyway This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | On the Mountain, He will Provide
Some songs arrive loud. This one arrived heavy.Genesis 22 is familiar — until it isn’t.Until fresh eyes catch what was always there.A father walking uphill with the promise on the line.A mountain named before its meaning was fully revealed.A God who did not yet provide the Lamb — but showed He was willing. This song was written out of that moment of realization. Not performance. Not polish.Just awe. It’s about obedience that keeps walking.Faith that trusts God’s character more than the outcome. And a provision that was promised long before it was fulfilled. If you’re in a season where the test feels bigger than the explanation, let this be your reminder:On the mountain of the Lord,it will be provided.LyricsOn the Mountain, He Will ProvideVerse 1I thought I knew the ancient road,The story worn, the lines retoldBut fresh eyes see what I once missedA promise bound, a clenched-fist testYou called him up the mountain sideWhere hope and heartbreak walk alignedNo shortcuts given, no escapeJust trust that climbs by stubborn faithVerse 2The wood was laid upon the sonThe silence heavy, words undoneA question asked, then left to hangWhere is the lamb You said You’d sendNo answer yet, just steady breathObedience that stares down deathYou walked it out, not knowing howBut knowing Who was faithful nowChorusOn the mountain, He will provideWhen the promise is on the lineWhen I can’t see past the fire and flameI’ll trust the God who called my nameOn the mountain, still I standEmpty-handed, open-palmedWhat He has given, I returnThe Lord will provide — I’ve learnedVerse 3Three long days, no turning backEach step a yes, each breath intactYou named the place before You knewWhat God was still prepared to doNot “He did,” but “He will” saidFaith spoke louder than the dreadA future tense, a waiting cryProvision not yet realizedVerse 4Centuries pass, same sacred groundAnother Son, no ram aroundThe blade falls once, the silence staysLove poured out in costly graceWhat You revealed, You later provedThe Lamb was always part of YouNo test You give You wouldn’t bearNo cost You ask You wouldn’t shareChorusOn the mountain, He will provideWhen the promise is on the lineWhen I can’t see past the fire and flameI’ll trust the God who called my nameOn the mountain, still I standEmpty-handed, open-palmedWhat He has given, I returnThe Lord will provide — I’ve learnedBridgeI won’t ask how I get releasedI’ll ask what faith You’re building in meIf I am tested, let it beA deeper trust, a clearer seeYou’re not withholding, You’re preparingNot breaking me, but strengtheningIf this is fire, make it refineWhat You entrust on the other sideFinal ChorusOn the mountain, He will provideEven when I don’t know the timeI’ll walk the path You set for meWith faith that bends but does not fleeOn the mountain, here I stayHere I am — yes anywayYou have provided, You still willMy trust is not in outcome, but Your willOutroOn the mountain…He will provide. Sometimes joy feels like the last thing you can grab onto. But here’s the truth nobody puts on Christmas merch:Joy isn’t fragile — it’s forged. It rises in the fire, not outside of it.This week’s FAA track, “Joy in the Fire,” is all about the kind of joy hell can’t steal and darkness can’t smother. The kind that stands tall when circumstances fall apart. The kind Jesus gives, the Spirit sustains, and the enemy absolutely hates. If you need a anthem that lights up the dark and reminds your soul that God is still moving — this one’s for you.Hit play, lift your shield, and let joy do what joy does best:fight back.Lyrics:”Joy In The Fire”[VERSE 1]When the night comes crashing inAnd the world feels paper-thin,I remember who You are,And joy lights up the dark. Not the fragile kind that breaks,Not the kind that fear can take —This is joy that stands its ground,Till the enemy backs down.[CHORUS]I’ve got joy in the fire,Faith lifting higher,Light breaking through the black of the night.Joy in the pressure,Stronger than ever,Hope that refuses to give up the fight. You are my strength, my shield, my song —And this joy keeps marching on.[VERSE 2]Every arrow aimed at me,You extinguish faithfully. When the lies come dressed as truth,Joy exposes every root. Not a mood or quick escape,Not a smile that’s looking fake —This is Spirit-forged and real,Joy the darkness cannot steal.[CHORUS]I’ve got joy in the fire,Faith lifting higher,Light breaking through the black of the night.Joy in the pressure,Stronger than ever,Hope that refuses to give up the fight. You are my strength, my shield, my song —And this joy keeps marching on.[VERSE 3]When the world says “give in now,”You remind me who You are somehow.Your promises don’t shake or bend,Your goodness rises without end.So let the shadows make their claim —Your joy burns brighter than their flame.I stand firm and lift my voice,’Cause joy in Jesus is my choice.[VERSE 4]Let the cold winds try to roar,Let the chaos crowd my door —Joy is not a fairytale,Joy is where Your truth prevails. This is war and I stand tall,Joy declares You over all.Every season, every storm,Joy in You becomes my form.[BRIDGE]Joy defies the darkness,Joy refuses fear,Joy becomes the weaponWhen the fight gets near.Faith becomes my armor,Peace becomes my stand,Joy becomes the signalThat the battle’s in Your hands.[FINAL CHORUS]I’ve got joy in the fire,Faith lifting higher,Light breaking through the black of the night.Joy in the pressure,Stronger than ever,Hope that refuses to give up the fight. You are my strength, my shield, my song —And this joyKeeps marching on. Faith Audio Arsenal | When the Light Wakes Me Up
Most people think Advent is about candles, cozy moments, and a little extra “be nice” energy. But Advent isn’t here to decorate your season. It’s here to wake you up.This is the week God shines Light on the places you’ve ignored, avoided, or explained away — not to embarrass you, but to free you.Because Light doesn’t just come to the world in December. It comes for you — the real you, the tired you, the drifting you, the “just trying to get through the year” you.And when the Light gets personal?Everything shifts.Lyrics:Title: WHEN THE LIGHT WAKES ME UP[VERSE 1]I’ve been walking half-asleep,Keeping shadows close to me.Telling You I want the truth,While hiding what I didn’t want to see.But You don’t let the darkness stay,You shine before I’m ready.Your mercy hits like morning fire,And suddenly my heart is steady.[CHORUS]When the Light wakes me up,Every lie falls apart.Every shadow that owned meLoses ground in my heart. When Your truth breaks in,I can’t stay where I was. When the Light wakes me up,I come running to Your love.[VERSE 2]I used to fear the honest glow,Afraid of what You’d bring to light. But love that shows the broken partsIs love that pulls me back to life. You call me out of numbness, Lord,You tear the silence open.Your whisper cracks the darkest night,A promise fiercely spoken.[CHORUS]When the Light wakes me up,Every lie falls apart.Every shadow that owned meLoses ground in my heart. When Your truth breaks in,I can’t stay where I was. When the Light wakes me up,I come running to Your love.[VERSE 3]You don’t shame the hidden wounds,You heal them with Your steady hand. You shine on every quiet fearUntil the fear can’t even stand. You show me what I tried to dodge,You break my hesitation. You lead me where the shadows fall,Toward holy restoration.[VERSE 4]So wake me when my hope runs low,Wake me when I drift from grace.Wake me when I fall asleepIn all the noise I try to chase.Your Light is not a gentle glow—It’s thunder in the silence.A call to rise and stand againAnd walk out of defiance.[BRIDGE]Shine in me, break the sleep from my eyes.Call my name till the old self dies.Every corner You touch comes alive—I’m not afraid of Your Light,I’m not afraid of Your Light.[OUTRO]Wake me up again, Lord—Wake me with Your love. When Your Light fills my heart,It’s enough… it’s enough. Faith Audio Arsenal | Voice in the Wilderness: John the Baptist Song
Welcome back to the Faith Audio Arsenal—where we sharpen your spirit, steady your resolve, and remind you that God didn’t call you to tiptoe through history like a nervous houseguest.Today’s track is Voice in the Wilderness—and we’re channeling the boldness of the original spiritual disruptor: John the Baptist. He didn’t whisper. He didn’t blend in.He didn’t wait for the culture to approve his message. He stood in the wild, pointed straight at Jesus, and declared the truth whether people liked it or not. This audio is your call to do the same.Because the world doesn’t need more polite Christians mumbling safe prayers. It needs believers who know how to stand, speak, and prepare the way for the Lord with clarity and conviction—even when the landscape looks barren and the noise of the world is deafening. So take a breath.Steady your heart. And let this track strengthen your voice for the wilderness you’ve been placed in.Your mission starts now.You can get the Lyrics to this song by checking out the Podcast Faithfully Thinking: Out Loud! Faith Audio Arsenal | At the Table and the Frontline
Welcome to the Faith Audio Arsenal — where worship meets warfare, and every lyric doubles as a battle cry. This week’s anthem, “At the Table and the Frontline,” takes us to the heart of Kingdom living — where grace invites us in, righteousness dresses us for battle, and obedience keeps us standing. The invitation has gone out, the banquet is set, and the armor is issued. Some come to the table for comfort. Others come prepared for commission. The difference? The garment of righteousness — not self-made, but Heaven-forged.So take your seat, adjust your armor, and let this song remind you: in God’s Kingdom, dinner and duty share the same table.“I’ll wear the robe You gave to me,White as light, yet forged to be—Armor strong in love divine,Dressed for the table and the frontline.”You’re not just invited. You’re enlisted.Let’s sing like it.Lyrics:At the Table and the FrontlineVerse 1 — The InvitationThe King sent word through mercy’s door,A feast prepared forevermore. The scroll was sealed with holy light,To call the lost into His sight. The humble came, the proud declined,The poor were seated, hearts aligned.Chorus — The Call and the CoveringI’ll wear the robe You gave to me,White as light, yet forged to be—Armor strong in love divine,Dressed for the table and the frontline.Grace has called, and I am Thine,At the table and the frontline.Verse 2 — The CounterfeitsSome slipped in clothed in borrowed fame,But never bowed before Your Name.Their lips spoke faith, their hearts denied,Their garments torn by secret pride. The banquet shook, the heavens sighed,Truth exposed what hearts would hide.Verse 3 — The Chosen and the CalledThe chosen stand where mercy leads,Clothed not by works, but by Your deeds.Forged in grace, refined by flame,They fight in faith and bear Your name. Each heart a fortress, soul a light,Standing firm through endless night.Bridge — The Turning PointI am not here for ease or fame,But to uphold the Savior’s Name. You trained my hands, You steeled my soul,Your righteousness—my heart’s control. The King who dined became the Lamb,The Lamb who died now reigns, “I AM.”Verse 4 — The Invitation RenewedNow grace still calls beyond the wall,To every heart that hears the call. The doors stand wide, the candles burn,For prodigals who now return. The robe still waits, the armor gleams,Fulfilled are mercy’s ancient dreams.Final Chorus — The CommissionI’ll wear the robe You gave to me,White as light, yet forged to be—Armor strong in love divine,Dressed for the table and the frontline.Your mercy calls, Your banner flies,Till every soul and heart replies.Outro — The StandAt the table and the frontline,Grace invites and truth aligns.King of glory, guard my heart,Your righteousness—my battle art. Faith Audio Arsenal | Through the Fire, the Word Still Stands”
Some words are too holy to silence.William Tyndale learned that the hard way — chained, strangled, and burned for daring to give the world a Bible they could actually read. But here’s the miracle: fire didn’t end his work — it spread it.The same flames meant to erase the Word only carried it farther.Within a generation, the English Bible rolled off royal presses, and truth walked free among common people. This song was written for that kind of fire — the kind that purifies, not destroys.Because the war for truth never really stopped; it just changed battlefields. We still stand between noise and conviction, between pride and humility, between culture and Christ. And like those who came before us, we’re called to fight with light. So here’s our anthem for the week — a song for the faithful who still believe that no matter how dark the times get, the Word still stands.Lyrics:Through the Fire, the Word Still StandsVerse 1By candle’s flame, a voice was raised,In chains, the truth still spoke.A plowboy’s dream, a martyr’s praise,The fire became the cloak. They tried to silence Heaven’s breath,But grace outshined their plans—Through every age, though saints met death,The Word still stands.ChorusThrough the fire, the Word still stands,Through the storm, it won’t be drowned.Kings may rage and crowds demand,But Heaven can’t be bound. We’ve read it, lived it, scarred our hands—Yet mercy writes again:Through the fire, the Word still stands.Verse 2They built their thrones on holy ground,And called the righteous wrong. But truth survived without their crowns,And turned their ash to song. Now screens replace the gallows’ rope,But pride still makes commands—Yet love still whispers louder hope:The Word still stands.Verse 3The ink once spilled in secret rooms,Now runs through every land. From whispered prayers in catacombsTo voices taking stand. Each tongue and tribe, one heartbeat cries,One faith that understands—The Gospel never says “goodbye”;The Word still stands.ChorusThrough the fire, the Word still stands,Through the storm, it won’t be drowned.Kings may rage and crowds demand,But Heaven can’t be bound. We’ve read it, lived it, scarred our hands—Yet mercy writes again:Through the fire, the Word still stands.Verse 4Now truth walks streets of digital war,Where mercy’s voice grows thin. But even here, the Spirit roars,And lights the hearts within. No shadow strong, no screen so loud,Can mute what God commands—The Church still rises from the crowd; The Word still stands.BridgeLet truth be more than weaponry,Let grace be more than speech.Let hearts be living epiloguesOf all that martyrs preached. We fight with love, not borrowed hate,With armor not of man—The darkness flees; the Light creates—And the Word still stands.Final Chorus (slow build to anthem)Through the fire, the Word still stands,Through the storm, it won’t be drowned.Faith still burns in willing hands,And chains can’t hold it down. From candle’s glow to screen and land,The call of truth expands:Through the fire, the Word still stands.Outro (spoken / optional choral tag)“They chained the book. They burned the man.But they could never stop the plan.Through the fire — the Word still stands.”William Tyndale gave everything so that we could read the Word for ourselves. Now it’s our turn to live it for the world. He fought to place a Bible in every hand; we’re called to wield it with every heartbeat. The darkness hasn’t stopped advancing — but neither has the Light. It’s time to pick up the Sword, fasten the Armor, and fight with the same courage that carried the Gospel through the flames.Armor Up, Buttercup: A Field Manual for Spiritual Warfare equips believers to do just that — to turn worship, prayer, and obedience into battle strategies that push back the dark.Tyndale gave us access to the Word. Let’s honor him by using it.Get the Field Manual → This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | Hold the Line of Light
Every generation faces its own kind of fire. For William Tyndale, it was the pyre. For us, it’s the platform.Truth hasn’t changed — but the battlefield has.Now we fight not with swords, but with words, and sometimes the sharpest wounds are dealt in comment sections instead of courts. This song was written as a reminder that discernment isn’t destruction — it’s direction. That grace isn’t weakness — it’s warfare. And that standing for truth doesn’t always look like shouting; sometimes it looks like stillness that refuses to bow.“Hold the Line of Light” is both a worship anthem and a battle cry — for those who refuse to surrender truth to pride, and for those who still believe the Word of God is worth every cost.Because the same flame that refined Tyndale’s faith is still burning in us today.Lyrics:“Hold the Line of Light”IntroThey can chain the pages, but not the flame,Truth still whispers Jesus’ name.Verse 1From whispered words in shadowed halls,To echoes through cathedral walls,The faithful carried love through night—They held the line of light.ChorusHold the line of light, don’t trade truth for ease,Grace stands firm while the proud hearts freeze. The battle’s not won by sword or sight—Just hearts that hold the line of light.Verse 2They called it heresy, we call it grace,He met the fire with a steady face. The ashes rose, the Word took flight—Still burning, still alive tonight.(Repeat Chorus)Verse 3Now pixels preach and preachers trend,The fight for faith will never end.But love still wins when we choose right,And hold the line of light.Verse 4The truth’s not loud, it’s low and sure,It heals the wounds that zeal can’t cure. The meek still shine when hate ignites—They hold the line of light.BridgeLet the Spirit guide the aim,Not the pride that steals His name. We’ll stand, redeemed, in armor bright—And hold the line of light.Final Chorus / OutroHold the line of light, through fire and fear,The Word still speaks, and Heaven still hears. The dawn will rise, the dark take flight—We’ll stand and hold the line of light.William Tyndale didn’t just translate Scripture — he weaponized it.He gave us access to the living Word, knowing full well it could cost him his life.If he risked everything to get the Bible into our hands, the least we can do is open it and fight like it means something.Armor Up, Buttercup: A Field Manual for Spiritual Warfare is your modern field manual for doing exactly that — using truth, prayer, and praise to light up every shadow the enemy throws your way.Tyndale lit the torch. It’s our turn to carry it.Grab your gear → This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit scbailey.substack.com/subscribe

Faith Audio Arsenal | God's Strategy Stands
The enemy never saw it coming. In a culture that discounted women’s voices, God raised up disciples like Tabitha, Mary, Priscilla, and Phoebe to carry His mission forward. That wasn’t a loophole — that was strategy. This week’s Battle Brief unpacks the brilliance of God’s battle plan and why His wisdom always outsmarts man’s expectations. And to drive it home, we’re pairing it with an anthem of praise — God’s Strategy Stands — because when the Commander of Heaven makes the call, every soldier matters.Lyrics:“God’s Strategy Stands”Verse 1In the silence, He gave a call,To the least, He entrusted all. When the world said, “Not their place,”God armed daughters with His grace.ChorusPraise the wisdom of our King,Every voice made strong to sing.Unexpected, yet His plan,God’s strategy outsmarts man.Verse 2Mary ran with news of life,First to shout the tomb’s surprise.Tabitha rose, her mission clear,Disciples stand — both far and near.ChorusPraise the wisdom of our King,Every voice made strong to sing.Unexpected, yet His plan,God’s strategy outsmarts man.Verse 3Priscilla taught, with Spirit’s fire,Phoebe carried Paul’s desire.Junia’s name in battle rolls,Women called to strengthen souls.BridgeNo weapon formed could understand,The power held in God’s own hand.He lifts the humble, breaks the pride,His Kingdom grows on every side.Verse 4Side by side the ranks are drawn,Sons and daughters marching on.Every gift and role He sends,Builds His army to the end.Final Chorus (repeat x2)Praise the wisdom of our King,Every voice made strong to sing.Unexpected, yet His plan,God’s strategy outsmarts man.⚠️ The fight isn’t coming — it’s here. Armor Up, Buttercup shows you how to turn prayer, Scripture, and worship into tactical weapons, and gives clear guidance for those who may be left behind.👉 Pick it up on LuluYou can hear more songs for free by checking out my Faith Playlist on Suno: 🎧Listen Here This is a public episode. Faith Audio Arsenal | She Carried the Gospel Too (Praise to the King)
When God launched His Kingdom mission, He didn’t limit discipleship to the usual suspects. He called women to carry the Gospel too — raising Tabitha back to life, sending Mary Magdalene as the first resurrection witness, and entrusting Phoebe and Priscilla with the spread of His Word. This isn’t an afterthought; it’s divine strategy. Today we lift up praise to the King whose wisdom outsmarts the enemy and whose grace gives every son and daughter a place in His mission.Lyrics:“She Carried the Gospel Too (Praise to the King)”Verse 1Blessed be the Lord Most High,Who calls His daughters, lifts them nigh. Not just men, but women stand,Chosen vessels in His hand.ChorusWe praise You, Lord, Your plan is true,You gave Your Spirit, made all things new. From the garden to the empty tomb,Your Kingdom grows, there’s holy room.Verse 2Tabitha’s thread became a sign,Life restored by love divine.Mary’s voice proclaimed the Word,First to shout, “The Lord has stirred!”ChorusWe praise You, Lord, Your plan is true,You gave Your Spirit, made all things new. From the garden to the empty tomb,Your Kingdom grows, there’s holy room.Verse 3Deborah judged with wisdom’s fire,Priscilla taught with hearts inspired.Phoebe served, her faith proclaimed,Every life exalts Your name.Bridge (Exalting)Glory to God, who calls us all,Sons and daughters hear the call.Perfect wisdom, boundless grace,All creation sings Your praise!Verse 4Side by side, Your Church is one,Every daughter, every son.You are worthy, Lord of all,King of Heaven, hear our call!Final Chorus (repeat x2)We praise You, Lord, Your plan is true,You gave Your Spirit, made all things new. From the garden to the empty tomb,Your Kingdom grows, there’s holy room.If you want to hear more songs like this check out my Faith playlist on Suno 🎧here!Armor Up, Buttercup: A Field Manual for Spiritual WarfareNot your grandma’s devotional. Faith Audio Arsenal | Hold the Line
Sometimes songs just write themselves — this one flowed straight out of the theme of endurance we’ve been camping on all week. It’s an anthem for the weary, a reminder for the faithful, and a rally for anyone tempted to quit. The race is long, the arrows are real, but the finish line is worth every step. So crank this one up, and let it steady your soul.By the way, my paid subscribers already got an alternate cut of this song earlier this week. If you’ve ever wondered what it sounds like when I can’t pick a favorite, that’s your clue. This is the version I saved for everybody — but if you want the “bonus track” vibes too, well, you know where the upgrade button lives.Lyrics: “Hold the Line”[Intro]The fire is hot, the night is long,But faith in Christ will make me strong.[Verse 1]Arrows fall, the shadows press,The world says quit — but I confess:My hope is fixed, my eyes won’t stray,The crown of life is on the way.[Chorus]Hold the line, don’t let go,Raise your shield till the trumpet blows.Every step is worship, every breath a fight,The race is long, but the end is bright.[Verse 2]The crowd may fade, the cheers may die,But truth still burns, and love won’t lie.Through trials deep, through darkest days,I’ll walk with Christ, His steady way.[Pre-Chorus]I won’t retreat, I won’t fall back,His promises keep me on track.[Chorus]Hold the line, don’t let go,Raise your shield till the trumpet blows.Every step is worship, every breath a fight,The race is long, but the end is bright.[Bridge]Though weary hands may shake and tire,Your Spirit fuels a holy fire. The crown awaits, the prize is sure,In Christ alone, I will endure.[Chorus — repeat stronger]Hold the line, don’t let go,Raise your shield till the trumpet blows.Every step is worship, every breath a fight,The race is long, but the end is bright.[Outro]The fire is hot, the night is long,But faith in Christ will keep me strong. Faith Audio Arsenal | The Call and the Answer
This week we’ve been drilling hard on kaleo (God calls) and epikaleo (we answer). That call-and-response isn’t just theology — it’s identity. We are summoned, chosen, and faithful because the King spoke our name, and we answered with our lives. That rhythm — His call, our response — is the heartbeat of this new gospel anthem. It’s raw, it’s bold, and it carries the cry of Revelation 17:14: “Those with Him are called and chosen and faithful.”I’ll be honest: when this one came together, it hit me so hard I sat in tears. As I am working on this post, it is just days after the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk. I can’t stop thinking about how he lived his faith. Before stepping out on any platform, his prayer was simple: “Use me for Your will, Lord.” That’s epikaleo in its purest form. He wanted to be remembered for his courage in faith, and he lived that call all the way to the end. This song was created in part with that in mind. I want to strive to answer the King’s call with that same courage and faithfulness. May this anthem steady us to do just that — to call back boldly when the King calls our name. Here’s your anthem for the week. Let it remind you: the King called you, and your “yes” still echoes.Lyrics:“The Call and the Answer”Theme: Kaleo (God calls) + Epikaleo (we answer)Verse 1 (Kaleo)Across the noise, His voice breaks through,The King is calling — He’s calling you.Not random chance, not fate, not luck,A summons of love you can’t interrupt.Chorus (Identity)I am called, I am chosen, I’ll be faithful, standing true. The Lamb has conquered, I belong to You.I am called, I am chosen, I’ll be faithful to the end.Your voice has summoned, and my life’s my “yes” again.Verse 2 (Epikaleo)I call upon Your holy name,Through fear and fire, You’re still the same.In every trial, my prayer will be,“Use me, Lord — Your will through me.”ChorusI am called, I am chosen, I’ll be faithful, standing true. The Lamb has conquered, I belong to You.I am called, I am chosen, I’ll be faithful to the end.Your voice has summoned, and my life’s my “yes” again.Bridge (Revelation 17:14)Called, chosen, faithful — standing with the Lamb.Victory belongs to Jesus, every foe is damned.Called, chosen, faithful — clothed in holy light.I answer with my life, I will not ghost the fight.Final Chorus (Strong)I am called, I am chosen, I’ll be faithful, standing true. The Lamb has conquered, I belong to You.I am called, I am chosen, I’ll be faithful to the end.Forever Your kaleo, my epikaleo “Amen.” This is a public episode.
