A Title Well Earned
Ever get into the questioning of, "can I call myself that," or, "I didn't earn it"? I think the first thing is yes, if ya not ya not. You are not a doctor if you haven't had a high degree of training. I never claim to be a therapist. Even though that's most of what my work is. I don't tell people I am either. I did get a certification not so long ago, and I say I'm a certified counselor if asked or a guide. But I used to shy away and get that NO I'M NOT! thing going when my guys call me. Denying the part that I am helping others see themselves to shift their lives. It's a reality. A Mum and a Dad title doesn't mean ya are. What if somebody is not there for their kids? Does that earn them the title? What about adopting parents? Who pulls their weight to earn that title? Yep!
