Holiday Cocktail and Q&A - with Michelle Street Beaudette
In this special end-of-year episode, host Jimmy Moreland welcomes MHW's own Michelle Street Beaudette to answer some common questions, and to walk us through a festive holiday cocktail.If you'd like to make this drink for yourself, here's a quick recipe:Smoked Cranberry Fizz2 ounces gin1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed1 ounce cranberry simple syrup1 egg whiteClub soda (to top)Fresh rosemaryLight the tips of a fresh rosemary sprig with a lighter until it smokes and then flip a martini glass upside down to smoke the glass. Add the gin, lemon juice, cranberry simple syrup and egg white to a shaker and dry shake first. Add ice and shake again, then strain into martini glass. Add a splash of club soda and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary. Cranberry Fizz (non-alc version)2 ounces cranberry juice1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed½ oz cranberry simple syrupClub soda (1 oz, to top)Fresh rosemaryAdd the cranberry juice, lemon juice and cranberry simple syrup to shaker and shake. Strain into martini glass and top with club soda. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.Did you make one for yourself?
