    Month 1:2 | My Body Was Screaming For Decades Before My ADHD Diagnosis

It opened a door to discovering PCOS, pre-diabetes, fibroids, gut dysbiosis, food sensitivities, and decades of symptoms I had completely normalized.     Listening to Your Body Before Reacting

    This episode wasn’t planned. I had a totally different one queued up, but then something happened this morning that felt too real not to bring here.This episode is about that moment—and about the bigger invitation underneath ‘the situation that happened’: realignment.Sometimes life gives us a heads-up, a tap, or if we’re really not picking it up - a big ol push. Regardless, our bodies know before our minds do. This is a reminder that rest, honesty, and choosing yourself over performance [or people pleasing] isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom. And often, there is an available reframe that can pose your situation as an opportunity for realignment.What I Hope You Take From This:• Your body is speaking, listen!! (Racing heart, sweaty pits, tight chest, dry throat… those are data points.)• You don’t always have to take the blame to stay in integrity.• Rest is productive. Especially when you’ve just moved, just gotten married, just come back from two months away 🙃• Realignment doesn’t always feel graceful. Sometimes it comes in the form of a gut-punch, ego-smack.• You’re allowed to want peace more than approval.• Processing out loud with someone who knows you (hi, Dad) can shift everything.
