FVCK ANXIETY: Tools for a Woman's Freedom

Fvck Anxiety is a podcast for women who look like they have it together on the outside… but feel anxious, overwhelmed, and disconnected on the inside. We call it stress. We call it being busy. We call it motherhood. We call it responsibility. But underneath it is often something deeper.Fear we were never taught how to understand. When fear gets pushed down, it doesn’t disappear. It becomes anxiety. And when anxiety goes misunderstood, it slowly turns into control — control of schedules, outcomes, expectations, and everything around us.Over time, that control disconnects women from themselves.Their creativity. Their joy. Their intuition. Their freedom.Hosted by a mother who has lived this pattern firsthand, Fvck Anxiety explores the real root of anxiety in women — and why anxiety might not be the enemy we’ve been taught it is.

Why Not Being Yourself, Makes Your Anxiety Worse (And How to Start Trusting Yourself Again)

Send us Fan MailIn this episode of FVCK Anxiety, Sari is joined by mindfulness and manifestation coach Nikki Dean for a conversation about anxiety, overthinking, and what it really means to trust yourself again. They break down how anxiety often builds when you’re living from pressure, comparison, or expectation — instead of listening to what actually feels true for you. Over time, this creates a constant sense of stress, overthinking, and feeling out of alignment.Sari and Nikki explore how many women have been taught to ignore their intuition, second-guess themselves, and look outside for answers — which only makes anxiety louder. This episode introduces a different way of relating to anxiety. Not just managing it, but beginning to see it as a signal — something guiding you back to yourself, your truth, and a deeper sense of trust. They also share how small shifts, like curiosity and awareness, can begin to reconnect you with your intuition — even if it feels unfamiliar or hard to access right now.If you’ve been feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or like you don’t trust yourself anymore, this conversation will help you understand why — and where to start. What You’ll LearnIn this episode, you’ll learn: Why anxiety often increases when you’re not being true to yourself  How overthinking and self-doubt disconnect you from your intuition  Why comparison makes anxiety worse and keeps you stuck  The difference between “I am anxious” vs. “I’m feeling anxious”  How anxiety can be a signal pointing you back to yourself  Why curiosity is the first step to rebuilding self-trust  How to create small moments of relief instead of forcing change ReflectionWhere in your life are you ignoring what feels true for you — and how might that be contributing to your anxiety?Free Nervous System ResetIf anxiety feels constant or overwhelming, Sari created a free 5-minute Nervous System Reset to help you calm your body and interrupt the anxiety loop in real time.Work With SariIf you’re ready to stop living in anxiety and want support in actually changing it, you can book a free discovery call with Sari. This is a space to talk about what’s been coming up for you and explore what real support could look like.Connect with Nikki Dean

Fuck Anxiety: Why I Refused to Let Fear Run My Life

Send us Fan MailIf you’re a woman living with anxiety, overthinking, and the constant need to control everything just to feel safe, this episode is for you. Anxiety doesn’t just live in your head — it dictates your choices, your routines, your relationships, and how small your life becomes over time.In this episode, Sari shares why this is the final episode of The Uncharted Way podcast — and why she’s rebranding into something more direct and honest. She opens up about how anxiety, fear, and control quietly ran her life for years. From planning exits, needing people available “just in case,” avoiding certain places, and hiding panic attacks, anxiety dictated nearly every decision. On the outside, she looked functional. On the inside, she was overwhelmed, hypervigilant, and disconnected.Sari explains how anxiety convinces you it’s protecting you, when in reality it slowly steals your freedom, joy, and presence. She reflects on what it’s like to live in survival mode, to organize your entire life around feeling safe, and to eventually reach the point where you’re done letting fear run the show. This episode isn’t about managing anxiety or forcing calm. It’s about recognizing when fear has been in charge for too long — and what it means to refuse to keep living that way. What You’ll LearnIn this episode, you’ll learn:How anxiety shows up as control, overthinking, and hypervigilanceWhy anxiety often feels protective while actually shrinking your lifeHow fear and control become coping strategies for anxious womenWhy distraction can temporarily calm anxiety in the nervous systemThe difference between managing anxiety and reclaiming authority over your lifeWhat it means to stop organizing your life around fearReflectionToward the end of the episode, Sari invites you to reflect on how much of your daily life is centered around avoiding anxiety — and what might change if safety didn’t require constant control.Free Self-Love ChallengeSari will be taking a short break before launching the newly rebranded podcast, Fuck Anxiety, in mid-March.During this time, she’s hosting a free 5-day Self-Love Challenge starting February 23rd, focused on slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and turning compassion inward.Join The Self Love Challenge!!!Grab Your Free Meditation: New Year, New Youanxiety in women overthinking control and anxiety fear and anxiety nervous system regulation women’s mental health panic attacks hypervigilanceYou’re not broken. You’re not behind. And you’re not alone. If you made it here, that means something.

If You’re Ready to Stop Living the Same Life on Repeat

Send us Fan MailHave you ever had the quiet, terrifying thought: “I can’t keep living like this.”Not because your life looks bad on the outside — but because inside, you wake up every day with the same thoughts, the same reactions, the same heaviness. You look in the mirror and don’t really love who you see anymore. You go to work and feel drained or resentful, but the fear of changing anything keeps you frozen. You replay the conversation you want to have — with your partner, your boss, your friend — over and over in your head… but never actually say it.In the first solo episode of 2026, Sari gets radically honest about what it means to leave an old identity behind — the one built on survival, fear, control, and familiarity — and choose something different, even when you don’t know where it leads. This episode isn’t about resolutions, manifesting, or having a perfect plan. It’s about recognizing the moment when staying the same feels more painful than change.Through a powerful train-track metaphor, real-life examples, and a guided visualization, Sari invites you to ask the question most people avoid:What if the life you’re living isn’t the one you’re meant to stay on?If you feel stuck in patterns you don’t know how to break… If fear has kept you choosing familiarity over fulfillment… If part of you knows there’s more, but you don’t know how to reach it…This episode might be the moment you decide to stop abandoning yourself.💡 What You’ll Hear in This Episode (unchanged, already strong)Why nothing changes if you keep reacting the same way every dayHow expectations quietly limit your life without you realizing itThe difference between staying “safe” and actually being aliveWhy you don’t need clarity — you need courageHow leaving an old identity can feel terrifying and freeingWhat it means to be a seeker when you don’t know what’s nextA guided visualization to help you step off the old track and consider a new oneWhy even a 1% shift can lead you to a completely different life✨ Key TakeawayYou don’t need to know where the new path leads. You just need to stop choosing the one that’s been keeping you small.feeling stuck in life • fear of change • hate my job but scared to leave • anxiety and identity • living on autopilot • overthinking conversations • paralyzed by fear • breaking old patterns • personal growth podcast • choosing yourself • anxiety recovery🧭 Included in This EpisodeAt the end of the episode, Sari guides you through a short visualization to help you:identify the version of yourself that’s been survivingimagine what stepping onto a new path could feel likechoose one small, brave step without overwhelming yourself🎁 Free ResourceSari has created a free meditation: “New Year, New You” to help you connect with the version of yourself that’s ready to choose differently.Click Here to Download MeditationFollow Sari on InstagramBook a Free Freedom Roadmap Session for more Support! You don’t have to change your whole life today. You just have to stop pretending this one is enough. You made it here — and that means something.

Visions, Spirits, and Ayahuasca: The Story of a Psychic Medium – with Sunni Dawson

Send us Fan Mail“This is the most you can hope for,” or “This is who you are.” We all do this. Internalize these voices, let them narrate our story so deeply that even when we start doing all the “right” things—getting the degree, landing the job, fitting the mold—there’s this haunting undercurrent of “I’m not enough,” or “I’m too strange,” or “I can’t really show this part of me.”It’s that desire to be normal, to fit in, that gets baked in so young—it shows up in the way Sunni tamped down her gifts, shut off her intuition, played the part she was given, even when her soul was calling out for more. And she points to something that listeners are going to feel in their bones: that wrestling match with authenticity. How do you step into your power, your magic, your weirdness, when everything around you is still ringing with those old messages that it’s unsafe, or that you’ll end up alone, or that you owe it to someone else to keep playing small? And I think that’s what really gets under our skin—this myth that we have to either betray ourselves to keep the peace, or risk being misunderstood to be true to what we came here for. Sunni and Sari are both holding up a mirror to that journey—showing how you can live your whole life not realizing how hard you’re working just to “fit,” to twist yourself into what’s acceptable, and how painful, and ultimately unsustainable, that is. Sexual Trauma, and It's Quiet Spectrum: How It Impacts Women with Lisa Holt

Send us Fan MailYou want raw? You want no-bullshit authenticity? The latest episode of The Uncharted Way goes there—right to the jagged, unpolished root. Sari and Lisa aren't just talking about sexual trauma as a case study. They're laying their own stories bare. We're not playing in the “worst-case disaster” zone just to hit a peak—no, they're unearthing the countless subtle, nearly invisible cuts that so many dismiss because, “Well, it wasn’t that bad.” But if you’ve ever found yourself minimizing what happened to you, wondering, “Did I make this up? Was it my fault?” this episode is a splash of ice water. It’s familiar. It’s uncomfortable. And it’s about damn time we had it.Their stories unravel the layers of self-protection: the clamped-shut body, the shattering of safety, the way trauma slides into your relationships and wires your need for control or pushes you into avoidance. You can feel the edge in Sari’s voice as she admits—sometimes we don't even see what’s been guiding our entire identity. Lisa—totally unfiltered—confesses her “I don’t need a man” armor was avoidance in disguise, shaped down to the bone by experiences she barely named as trauma. They don’t end with answers, but with a challenge and an invitation. If you’re ready to see what’s hiding behind your own curtain—if you need someone to say, “You’re not broken, but you sure as hell have the right to feel what you feel and change the story”—this is the episode to dive into, raw nerves and all. It’s for anyone who ever felt “it wasn’t bad enough to matter,” but deep down, knows it’s been shaping every fucking thing.Drop in. Hear yourself. Start turning up your own intuition—because, like Sari says, the dial’s always there. You just need the guts to risk hearing what you’ve buried.Sari is your host of the Uncharted Way podcast—a no-nonsense space dedicated to revealing the stories of individuals who courageously defy societal norms to forge their own unique paths. The Messy, Magic Collapse Before You Rise: This is 40 with Sari & Liz

Send us Fan MailWhat if all that longing to be seen and loved isn’t a deficit, but a doorway? This episode is a celebration of my own birth!!! ( Into 40 that is) When I hit my “fuck it” moment—raw, crying on the beach, mad at myself—it gives us something we don’t talk about enough: the truth that discomfort, that total unraveling, is sometimes where we remember why we’re here. Sometimes, it’s time to lay down the victim story and let a whole new version of yourself, the one that’s already inside you, start to want to rise. This episode is a celebration of me turning 40, returning to my innocence, and celebrating all of me for showing up. (literally singing A return to Innocence by Enigma in my head now)

Criticizing by Creating: with Angel Robinson, Creator of SolarPunk Summit

Send us Fan MailAngel and Sari dig into this place where our bodies and minds have been programmed to expect the worst, to look for what’s not working, and to brace ourselves for disappointment. And for so many people, that’s become the water they’re swimming in. You hear it when Angel talks about coming from the political activism world, like this endless effort to “truth” everybody into seeing the problems, hoping that will spark some change. But the real pain point is: that never actually brings relief. It just cycles more fear, more vigilance, more burnout. What if the answer isn’t to fight harder, or shout louder, or burn it to the ground—but to create something so beautiful it makes the old stories irrelevant? Criticize by creating. Take all that pain and rage and disappointment, and turn it into art, into spaces where community and healing aren’t just buzzwords, but something you can feel in your bones. Unlock Wealth Freedom: Money Myths Shattered – with Heather Russo

Send us Fan MailThis episode exposes just how baked-in and unconscious most of our money patterns are. Most people don’t even pause to wonder if there’s a different way—it’s just get paid, pay bills, cross your fingers, and sort of white-knuckle your way through the month. The inspiration from this conversation is in the tiny acts of rebellion Heather and Sari describe—questioning if you really have to own the house, take on the debt, or let your money just trickle out in old, exhausting patterns. The real teaching here isn’t just about strategy (though, yes, there are strategies tucked in everywhere!), it’s about the willingness to question, to pause, to get uncomfortable, and to see money as this living, breathing energetic thing that wants to co-create with you rather than punish you or weigh you down. Curious yet? Take a listen!Sari is your host of the Uncharted Way podcast—a no-nonsense space dedicated to revealing the stories of individuals who courageously defy societal norms to forge their own unique paths. The answer was always the same: “We don’t have money for that.”Groceries showed up on our doorstep from kind strangers. Friends couldn’t stay the night because we couldn’t afford to feed one more mouth. I lived in the poorest part of a wealthy neighborhood, watching the stark contrast between “them” and “us.” And I made a decision.I refused to accept that as my future. At 18, I opened my first IRA, convinced I was on the right path to financial security. I followed every rule they told me...And yet, I wasn’t building wealth. I was just surviving with more stability. Then, I watched my savings disappear overnight in a market crash. That’s when I realized:THE SYSTEM ISN’T BROKEN. IT WAS BUILT THIS WAY ON PURPOSE.The wealthy don’t play by the rules the middle class is taught. They don’t rely on a paycheck. They don’t trade time for money. They don’t sit on cash and hope the market will save them.Connect with Heather

Part 1: Army to Alchemy: Joshua Whiteland's Path of Service, Struggle, and Strength

Send us Fan MailIn this episode: Joshua’s journey is just a reflection of that larger struggle a lot of us experience: performing rather than truly living and being authentic to ourselves. It's the whole deal of putting up this armor and not really addressing those underlying emotional issues because there’s this fear of being perceived as weak or inadequate. He talks about that feeling of being completely disconnected and how it drives actions and decisions. And the military, while offering so much structure and value, became a backdrop to those personal battles of self-worth and identity, of looking for that next thing to fill the void, all while grappling with PTSD and the role of alcohol as a crutch. It's a life story that’s not just about one man's journey but a universal lesson in personal transformation and healing. Sari CowsertClaim Your FREE Meditation!Instagramwww.thegrowthgoddess.netThe Growth Goddess, who intimately understands the constraints of control and fear, and through her own personal transformation, she has garnered the wisdom to lead others on their transformative journey. The Future of AI: Transforming Fear into Opportunity with Edwin Jansen

Send us Fan MailI think most people don't even comprehend the depths of what's possible with AI.  It's like we're stuck in this traditional mindset of what business and productivity should look like, missing out on this mind-blowing tool that can radically amplify our lives. When Edwin talks about custom GPTs, he's not just giving us tech jargon. He's unveiling a pathway to tap into this unprecedented intelligence that we can design to be as unique as our fingerprints. And that's the uncharted way here. We're so conditioned to think in terms of limitations—what we can't do, what we don't have, how we're not enough. But this conversation, it flips the script. Crafting Joy, Connection, Ceremony, and Intention Through Art with Amy Senn

Send us Fan MailDo you ever feel like you're stuck, not just in your career, but in your very soul? Perhaps you buried your intuition so deep under layers of societal expectations that you’ve forgotten what it even sounds like. In this episode, we dive into that very struggle with artist Amy Senn.  She talks about being locked in successful, comfortable routines—until they weren't comfortable anymore. She speaks of leaving a corporate job and a marriage that no longer resonated with her authentic self to chase her passion for art. She relates to that gnawing feeling that something’s off, that push and pull of comfort vs. intuition, like two ends of a magnet repelling each other, shoving her into a life more aligned with her truth. She stopped chasing things she didn’t truly want, honed into meditation and listening to her inner guide. I also suffered from this kind of ‘amnesia’, until my intuition sent me into the forest to collect sticks and start building. Hwe current body of work began in 2017 when inspiration and intuition sparked a huge desire in me to go into the woods and create. What emerged was a 12ft sculpture made primarily of vines and sticks.  Once completed, She watched people interact with her, She began to understand why she was led to create her. She works with land stewards all around the country. She has learned that this work is more than a pretty piece of art.  Each one is created in a container of creative ceremony, honoring the land and those who care for it. Each one is a bridge, connecting the land stewards to the land. And, each one is created using only materials found on the land, so the art emerges as a personification of the land itself. It is her greatest honor to be a channel for this sacred work and her vision is that in the observation of it, there is a remembering of the deepest truth, that we are nature. While many of her works are in private collections around the country, there are a few in public spaces including The Chapel of Sacred Mirrors and Growing Heart Sanctuary in New York as well as Inman Park in Atlanta, GA.

Overcoming Women's Health Myths: Insights from Functional Doctor Betty Murray

Send us Fan MailMost of us don't even realize just how misinformed we are about how nutrition and health has permeated our lives. It's almost like this subtle, invisible force that shapes the way we eat, think about our bodies, and even the way we experience health and sickness. And yet, we're so accustomed to it, we don't question it.Functional Medicine Doctor, Betty Murray, opens up this whole other world, and perspective through functional medicine. This episode breaks down the walls built by misinformation and the fear of exploring alternatives. As we share personal stories and dive into the functional medicine approach, Betty and I emphasize that health isn't a one-size-fits-all model. It's about looking at the root causes, not just masking symptoms. Western medicine often slices the body into specialties, but it's like cutting up a photograph—you lose the whole picture. Functional medicine stitches that picture back together, allowing you to see and address the underlying issues.Sari Cowsert is your host of the Uncharted Way podcast—a no-nonsense space dedicated to revealing the stories of individuals who courageously defy societal norms to forge their own unique paths. Confronting Shame and Defining a Charmed Life with Lisset King

Send us Fan Mail And here's the thing—most people don't really understand the weight of shame and how deeply it can root itself into every aspect of our lives, right? It isn't just this abstract feeling; it becomes a haunting narrative that dictates our actions, our dreams, our sense of self-worth. It's become such a normal piece of their daily lives that they don't even see how it holds them back. That constant battling of ‘good enough’ or perfectionism, stemming from trauma or societal pressure, is so ingrained that it keeps our true selves at bay, our courage at bay. One of the core teachings here is the importance of choosing courage. They discuss how people's perspectives often become muddled by past traumas and a relentless need to be perfect. For instance, Lisset dives into her own experiences of feeling not good enough and the destructive paths she walked, like substance abuse and toxic relationships. It's such a raw and honest conversation, and it makes you think about how much we hold ourselves back due to the voices in our head that scream, "You have to be perfect." Both Sari and Lisset shed light on how our subconscious programming affects us and the importance of having support to change it. It’s not just about conscious effort; it’s about doing the inner work to rewrite those stories we've been living by. Living the Double Life, from Addiction to Sobriety and Self Love, with Meaghan Rosalie

Send us Fan MailI think a lot of people listening are going to connect with this idea of carrying the weight of perfectionism. We grow up in these households or environments where expressing emotions is frowned upon or even outright punished. So, we push those feelings down so deep, and we numb ourselves with whatever tools we find—alcohol, work, relationships—just to avoid facing the messy, painful parts of our lives.Meaghan talks about how she started drinking at 14 and became an alcoholic and addict by 17, all while living this double life as a high school teacher and college athlete. ABOUT THIS SHOW
