With Claire Bartlett.....Founder Of The Simplified CEO

With Becky Loto.....Founder of Tides Business....International Speaker & Business Strategist
Becky Loto, is an International Speaker, Certified Business Strategist, Mentor, and entrepreneur with 30+ years of international business experience. She has founded five businesses across Mexico and the UK, in varied sectors including property, hospitality and tourism. With her tough love, practical strategies, and high-energy and fun approach, Becky supports ambitious women, entrepreneurs and senior executives, to be boldly brilliant, losing the self-doubt so the results are less stress, more money, more impact and a life they love. Becky loves connecting with interesting people, having adventures, is a property investor, a lover of surfing, being at the beach and all things Latino. When she was 21, Rebecca Loto left the UK for what should have been six months to learn French. That six months became 21 years and she returned to the UK with an Argentinian husband and a Mexican daughter. After a year in France, working as an au pair and a waitress she learnt French. This enabled her to work as a travel rep and spent three winters in French ski resorts and two summers inSpain, before being sent to the Dominican Republic, where she met her now husband whilst having a waterski lesson. Becky and her husband worked in Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman and Mexico, France and Italy. Becky worked in the tourism, property and legal industries before becoming a dive instructor and later set up an underwater videography and photography business in Mexico, which grew to have a team of 10 women. She worked from motorhome as an office, running solely off solar power. The success of that business enabled them to buy a plot of land and built a home but in 2007, when category five Hurricane Dean hit the town, it sadly flattened almost everything in its path. Whilst their home was one of the few still left standing, their livelihoods disappeared overnight.Becky started managing beach houses, which were second homes for foreigners and Mexicans. This grew to include holiday home rentals and Becky opened a launderette and ended up selling homes and properties, worth hundreds of thousands of US dollars. When her daughter was three, they left Mexico and headed back to the UK to start again. For six months, as her husband wasn’t able to live in the UK, he returned to work in Mexico, andRebecca was a single mum. She landed a role working for a global engineering company manufacturing a marine safety product. This role, as Business Manager for the Americas, involved travel from Canada to Argentina, where Becky used her Spanish and learned Portuguese. She liaised with the Mexican and Brazilian navies so they would incorporate their safety products and attended a lot of trade shows and consulate parties! With the global pandemic, Becky wasn't happy without the in person work with clients, so she took a couple of bold moves. One was to leave her well paid corporate role for a role which was a contract for 5 months with the Growth Hub. Here is where she fell in love with business mentoring, using her experience of having founded 3 businesses in Mexico. She also learned about property investing in the UK, remortgaged her home to buy an empty run down property which her husband and her converted to a 5 bed house share in Cornwall. Becky continued to work as a Business Mentor at Falmouth University, supporting start ups. Now through Tides Business, as a Business Strategist, Mentor and Inspirational Speaker, she helps women get clarity on what they want and how to make it happen so they can step into their own brilliance. She has a part time contract at Cornwall Innovation Centres helping business owners there too.On a mission to cement change in other women’s lives and with a proven track record of successfully running two six figure businesses, Rebecca wants to show others just what is possible when you do things on your own tYou have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Lylie Frost.....Cognitive Hypnotherapist
Lylie Frost is a Cognitive Hypnotherapist who works with people who look “fine” on the outside but feel stuck, lost, or misunderstood underneath. She helps clients understand and change the unconscious patterns running their behaviour so they can stop repeating the same cycles and start taking real ownership of their lives. Her work focuses on identity-level change, so life doesn’t just look good on paper, it actually feels right on the inside.Lylie always felt "different" to everyone around her. As a child she was a tomboy. She played football, wore boys clothes, had short hair and got constant messages of who she was "not being ok". She became very shy and learned to shrink into the background to protect herself. She realised as an adult that she was gay, and it made more sense but she still felt "on the outside". She never really knew what she wanted to do so she went to college and Uni but, still fell into various low paid jobs due to lack of confidence. She grew up in a poor area where expectations were low, and those messages held her back. She ended up getting into teaching after thinking I "should" get a proper job, but found it hard to get a permanent position for around four years. The turning point was being interviewed for a temporary position she was already doing and not getting it. It was the first time in her life she'd actually thought about what she wanted to do rather than "should" do and she quit. She then ended up working in Youth Justice for the last 13 years. It can be rewarding but draining and still wasn't really what she wanted. In 2019 she did an NLP practitioner course and it lit a fire under her. She understood how her life had shaped her but more importantly that she could do something about it! It was the first time she'd ever considered that running her own business was an option for "someone like her". She started a coaching business but it didn't take off, she was naïve and had a lot more work to do, on herself and learning about business. Fast forward to 2024, feeling miserable and stuck. She decided to train as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, went straight onto the master practitioner course and started seeing clients in May 2025. From the start she began learning about business as well to put her in the best position possible when she launched. Now she gets to help people whose "baggage" is holding them back to begin to live the life that they previously didn't think was possible and she loves it. With Gemma Legg.....Founder of Leggacy Inc
* PLEASE NOTE - in this episode we discuss chronic health conditions, mental health issues and suicide *Gemma is a 43 year old a global sales and marketing leader with over 22 years’ experience across radio, print, digital, and live events. She spent more than 11 years at Google, where she designed and delivered high-impact global programmes and events for CEOs and senior leaders—operating at the intersection of strategy, culture, and performance. In 2024 she was diagnosed with multiple invisible disabilities, including autism, bipolar disorder, perimenopause, severe scoliosis, and fibromyalgia. This pivotal moment led her to step away from corporate life and build a business that helps others by sharing her experiences and what she's learned on my journey.Gemma created Leggacy Inc to help organisations address one of the most overlooked—and costly—gaps in modern workplaces: invisible disability inclusion. In many workplaces, disability is still unconsciously associated with what is visible. Yet the majority of disabled employees in the UK live with invisible disabilities. Of the estimated 16 million disabled people in the UK, only around 20% have a visibly obvious disability—making invisible disability inclusion a critical leadership and commercial issue, not a niche concern.Today, Gemma works as a corporate speaker and consultant specialising in DEI and Learning & Development. She partners with organisations to build psychologically safe cultures where people with invisible disabilities can perform at their best.To find out more about Gemma and her work head HERE.You have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Louisa Strachan.....Founder Of The Song School
Louisa Strachan is the Director of The Song School - a community music organisation in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The Song School actually began as a vocal coaching business - that’s Louisa's background: She is a vocalist, vocal coach and writer. But even early on, she knew she wanted to build something that was more than traditional “singing lessons”. She wanted a space that broke the mould: creative, community-led, and genuinely accessible to young people who don’t usually get access to these kinds of extra-curricular opportunities. In many ways, The Song School is the space Southend didn’t have when Louisa was 13, writing songs in her bedroom. In 2022, that vision naturally evolved into a Community Interest Company - and that’s when The Song School sprung to life. Over time, it's grown - delivering music education and creative programmes for children and young people, including those from low-income households and those who face additional barriers in mainstream settings. They now support a large weekly community of young people through sessions that provide opportunities to learn, make, perform and for some, earn in music - and work closely with families, schools and partners to make sure cost and circumstance aren’t the thing that shuts the door.Louisa's role has evolved alongside the organisation. She's still deeply connected to the “why” - community, belonging, and young people being able to tell their stories - but also spends a lot of time on the less visible work: building partnerships, securing funding, developing programmes, supporting staff, and constantly trying to make the experience clearer and more accessible for families. What she's most proud of is how The Song School has grown without losing it's heart: it's still relationship-led, still rooted in Southend, and still focused on making music a real, lived experience - not just a lesson. You can find out more about The Song School HERE.You have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Shelley Wilson.....Author And Writing Mentor
Shelley Wilson is a writing mentor and multi-genre author of over twenty books. She helps new writers get their book idea out of their head and onto the page. She describes herself as an accountability Yoda! After running a successful holistic business for seven years, she was bitten by a spider, which triggered all sorts of medical issues. She had to close that business and turn her ‘hobby’ of writing into her main source of income. She had been writing stories since she was about 8, and 'be an author' had always been on my dream list. She didn't know how to make it happen back then! In 2013, she started blogging for her holistic spa audience and grew to over 200,000 readers. The blog was about 52 New Year's Resolutions she set herself. After the year was over, she turned the blog series into a book and self-published it in 2014. It shot to number one on Amazon's bestseller list in self-help and women's biographies. She then self-published more novels before signing a ten-book deal with an American publisher. She worked with them for nine years until June 2025, when they closed down, and thirteen of her books vanished from all sales platforms. She got the rights back for her books and is in the process of launching her own publishing imprint to republish her back catalogue. She's written over 20 books in self-help, memoir, children's meditation, young adult fantasy, historical fiction, and romance. She built her writing mentor business through networking. She would attend events to showcase her books and be asked every time, 'Where do you start when you want to write a book?' She's always happy to help and would tell people she met what to do. A business coach told her she should be charging for all this information, and so Shelley Wilson Writing Mentor was born! She's won two awards with her writing mentor business, and in 2025 her latest novel, Floating Solo (her debut romance), was a finalist in the Romantic Novelists' Association Awards and the Book Bloggers Novel of the Year Award. Everything that's happened in Shelley's life has helped her become the woman she is today, and she refuses to see change as a bad thing! As a multi-genre author, she uses her ten years of writing, publishing, and marketing experience to guide and support her clients. She confesses to being a word nerd with an unhealthy obsession for exclamation marks!!! However, she channels all that nerdiness into helping her clients write their books and boost their visibility. If you'd like to find out more about Shelley head to her website HERE.You have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? Louise is the founder of Shine with Lou, a space created to help people navigate the Life Interruptions that shake their world and reshape who they become. One that was shaped by rejection, inconsistency and a deep sense of not feeling good enough. That decision opened the door to her healing journey.Three years ago came the biggest Life Interruption of all. After 30 years of living with kidney disease and never letting it stop her, this time she had to stop, finally forcing her to face so much of what she’d been carrying. These last three years have been the most transformative of her life, and they’re the reason she's so passionate about the work she does now. She now helps others navigate their own Life Interruptions because she's lived through them, and she knows how beautifully life can unfold on the other side. What began as her own healing journey has transformed into a mission: to guide others through their next chapter with compassion, honesty and empowerment. With Steph Grainger.....Therapeutic Mentor.....Owner Of The Sisterhood Networking Group Chelmsford & Braintree
Steph Grainger is a Therapeutic Mentor and has been supporting women since 2010. She helps them to reconnect to all that they are and desire to be, by walking beside them as they turn their pain into power, embracing all of their truths. She considers herself a Sherpa, well versed in what may come as a result of change, and whilst her clients are the ones bravely facing all that they need to in order to make the changes they desire, Steph guides them on a path she has walked before and can navigate with subjectivity and with a different perspective. She does this by using a powerful set of life transforming interventions and techniques to understand, break down and resolve the things we think, do, and say, in order to change perception, improve her client’s life and ultimately support them to live the life they desire. We’ve all heard of collateral damage—the painful aftermath of life’s hardest moments. But what if we flipped the script? What if instead, we looked at Collateral Beauty? For Steph, this idea became life-changing. Every experience—whether joyful or devastating—has shaped who she is today. From personal loss, divorce, and career challenges, to moments of love, joy, and success, she's learnt that we can’t erase our past, but we can choose how it defines us.That’s the message she shares with her clients and audiences: the power of reframing life’s events, even the hardest ones, and finding beauty in the resilience, strength, and vulnerability they leave behind. You have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Rosie Coxshaw.....Founder of Modern Woman & Funky Dory
Rosie started her first business aged 16, armed with just her GCSEs. After running an array of companies – some successful ventures, and others that failed along the way – she saw a real lack of platforms to support a woman like her, navigating the world of work by herself. In my early career, she had no resources to guide her. Everything was trial and error. While that journey was (and continues to be) incredibly exciting, downright challenging and a lot of hard work, she knows that if she had better tools and advice available to her, she would have saved on mistakes and money, and excelled much quicker. This is what inspired her to launch Modern Woman in 2018. It’s her passion to help women throughout their career, through her community of like-minded individuals representing diverse industries and backgrounds.I hope we can help you achieve your career goals, by inspiring confidence and providing the toolkits you need. We’re on this journey together. As well as looking after Modern Woman, Rosie is also the co-founder of Funky Dory - an events comply based in Essex. It brings people together to create magical memories and is all about The Music. Soul, funk, boogie & soulful house are blended with the very best locations. With Lizi Jackson.....Founder Of Your Business. Upgraded.
Lizi Jackson is a bestselling author, multiple TEDx speaker and the founder of "Your Business. Upgraded." - where ambitious business owners turn when they’re ready for more.Lizi helps experienced entrepreneurs upgrade how they think, lead and grow. She’s known for saying what others won’t, spotting what others miss, and helping business owners create the kind of growth that feels energising, not exhausting. Her approach combines clarity, courage and grounded strategy - no gimmicks, no fluff, just practical partnership that gets businesses moving again - so their results, income and reputation finally match what they’re capable of.She never planned to be a coach or a speaker. Her first career was in teaching, helping teenagers make sense of who they are and what matters to them. Then, at 40, everything changed - Lizi lost all her hair to alopecia. What could have broken her confidence ended up becoming the making of it. She chose visibility over fear, and that choice became the foundation for everything she's done since.Lizi built a coaching business from scratch, helping people to leverage confidence as a tool to stop playing small and start owning their value. Over time, that work evolved - because confidence turned out not to be the end goal, but the fuel to get there. Now, through "Your Business. Upgraded.", she partners with experienced entrepreneurs who’ve built something good but know they’re capable of more. Together, she helps them refine, refocus and upgrade how they think, lead and grow.Along the way, she has also discovered that she's autistic and ADHD, which has shaped how she works and understands success. And as a mum to neurodivergent teenage twins, her family life constantly reminds her that the most powerful growth comes when we stop trying to fit into boxes and start leading in a way that’s unapologetically our own.Connect with Lizi here:-Website: https://www.yourbusinessupgraded.comInstagram: @yourbusinessupgradedYou have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Gina Trick.....Online Business Strategist And Mentor
Gina Trick is the online business strategist and mentor you call when you’re done overthinking and just want a strategy that actually works - with a little help from AI (used wisely, not wildly). She helps online service providers cut through the noise, get clear on what matters, and build businesses that feel as good as they look using simple, sustainable strategies that fit their strengths, values, and way of working. After scaling a 7-figure wedding & events company (and burning out in the process), she built her business to prioritise clarity, confidence, and calm and now helps others do the same.Gina says....."I never really fit the mould. No matter what job I had, I always felt like I was living someone else’s life - ticking boxes but never truly fulfilled. At 25, I left my hotel management career to start my first business. It was bold, scrappy… and eventually, successful. But in 2009, everything changed. I lost my home, my partner, and my business in one day. That was rock bottom - but also the start of something new.I rebuilt and over the next decade, I launched four businesses, including a 7-figure wedding and events company. But even then, success came with a cost: my health, my time, my freedom. So I walked away. Now, I help online service providers build businesses that work for them - rooted in clarity, confidence and calm. No burnout. No fluff. Just strategy that fits. Because I’ve learned the hard way: true success isn’t about the hustle. It’s about building a life you actually want to live."You can connect with Gina here:-https://www.ginatrick.comInstagram: @ginatrickstrategistYou have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Debbie Twinn.....Founder of Make Space Chelmsford
Crafting and colour is Debbie's therapy and has helped her tremendously over the years with poor mental and at times physical health (she has MS) It’s also her way of keeping her brain active and agile. When crafting you use problem solving and special awareness. Cognitive skills that commonly people expect can only be keep limber with crossword puzzles and sudoku. You'll age well knowing that there is another way to keep the mind ticking over nicely!Debbie loves to craft socially as she finds it's the perfect catalyst for conversation which as a self confessed introvert, she finds very helpful. It’s one of the reasons she started Make Space. To find her tribe and to help others find theirs. Make Space has given Debbie so much, financial freedom, purpose and escapism. She finds it a joy to share this with others and hopes to continue sharing her work and seeing where it takes her. Debbie founded Make Space in Chelmsford in 2022 having previously worked in the fashion industry in London. Make Space is a beautiful mindful curation of craft parties, workshops, craft kits and commissioned pieces based around Debbie’s joy for colour and design. You’ll find Debbie in her happy place surrounded by semi precious beads, hand dyed yarns and neon paints creating the most beautiful bespoke creations from beaded bracelets to woven wall hangings. Crafting is for everyone, we all stand to benefit from it so Debbie chooses simple accessible techniques for all to try. Debbie’s ‘Bead Bar’ is perhaps her most coverted of classes as it features a truly inspiring assortment of colourful beads collected over the past 20 years from far flung corners of the globe on Debbie’s previous travels. Creating affirmation bracelets using beads from the ‘Bead Bar’ is a beautiful mindful act of self care and has seen dozens of local crafters have a go at making bespoke jewellery with Make Space. With Tina Powick.....Founder Of Simply Be
Tina is a mum of four beautiful children - one with Downs Syndrome. She is an author, positive birth advocate and home educator. More recently she became the founder of Simply Be - supporting teenagers, helping them to find and follow their dreams.Tina was always a deep thinker, even as a child. School felt confining and she came away disillusioned with the education system. A love of travel opened her eyes to new perspectives, and she discovered that the world was a classroom in itself. Exploring new places gave her a sense of freedom and showed her how many different ways there were to live and learn. An interview for a courier at EuroCamp went slightly awry when she discovered she'd been given the job as children’s courier – a job she had explained she'd be no good at!She had no idea at the time but that job would change her life forever and lead her to a love of working with children. After she met her husband she became a childminder, expanding into two nurseries as their business grew.Helping children learn, laugh, and grow gave her a sense of purpose and joy. Each day was an adventure, and she realised how much fulfillment came from nurturing young minds. After seventeen years of running their lovely business they wanted to see what else life had in store for them and decided to sell up.They had no idea that it would lead to buying a pub and opening it as a community hub/pub in 2023. It was an amazing adventure and they met so many wonderful people but they both became overwhelmed by the demands and realised they needed to take a step back to breathe, reflect, and find balance.Taking time away from the pub gave her space to reflect on her true passions. She trained as a Mindvalley coach and discovered a new calling: helping others see their own power and potential. Through coaching, she found a wonderful community of learners and teachers, and she realized she could turn her love for helping people into a fulfilling career. She wants everyone to know that you don’t have to settle — not for jobs, relationships, or lives that don’t light you up. You are allowed to dream bigger. With Debi Richens.....AKA The Relationship Phoenix
Debi Richens is a trauma recovery and reclamation coach, founder of The Relationship Phoenix®, and creator of the Courageous Gutsy Women™ movement. After persistent bullying from an employer, she took some time out to care for her partners mum, who had been newly diagnosed with Alzheimer's and mixed dementia. Whilst doing this, she had issues bra buying, and suddenly found herself setting up a business making bespoke bras, which she did for six years, until health issues forced her to stop. Alongside all of this, she was experiencing some very unpleasant post-divorce abuse, and after attending a large international seminar in London about Parental Alienation in the Family Court process, she learned to understand that I was experiencing deep grief. This led her to training as a Grief Coach, and this shifted the axis of her world enough to start to make huge changes in her own world about what she was experiencing being disconnected from her daughter and grandchildren. She added to her skill set, expanded her knowledge considerably and is involved in many different areas of conversation and charity around PA, and am passionate about creating change for children who are denied healthy familial relationships due to their parents relationships breaking down with each other, or, with their own parents. Drawing on decades of lived experience in family and parental alienation, particularly as a mother and grandmother, Debi supports women navigating estrangement, grief, and emotional trauma to come back to themselves. Her approach combines NLP, hypnotherapy, and deep spiritual insight to help women reclaim their voice, boundaries, and Sovereign Energy™, rising strong from their stories with clarity, courage, and compassion. With Julie Begbie.....Founder Of The Happy Business Company
From a childhood shaped by the shadows of clinical depression, Julie Begbie has spent a lifetime on a wholehearted mission to pursue joy – and ripple it outward. Her story begins in a home where depression was the quiet undercurrent. As a child, she became deeply attuned to the emotional landscape around me – and somewhere along the way, made a quiet promise to herself: she would spend her life chasing joy, and when she found it, she'd share it.That personal mission slowly shaped into a professional one. She spent years in traditional roles, always helping others, always listening – but something was missing. When she stepped into entrepreneurship, it was with a full heart and a messy, beautiful vision: to build a business that felt like happiness, and to help others do the same. That became The Happy Business Company – a space for soul-led women to grow their visibility, build aligned businesses, and trust their own voices. And now, as wild as it sounds, she's bringing AI into that mission – showing small business owners how this unlikely tool can actually create more space, joy, and ease when used in a conscious, values-led way. It’s been anything but linear – but every step has brought her closer to what really matters: helping others feel seen, supported, and lit up by their own work. As a mentor, business coach, and founder of The Happy Business Company, she helps small business owners build brands that feel as good on the inside as they look on the outside. Today, she’s leaning into one of the most unexpected happiness tools of all – AI – to help heart-led entrepreneurs create more ease, clarity, and spaciousness in their work and lives. With Karen Boom.....Founder Of She's Electric
In 2010 Karen searched for an Electrician to do a small job. The fact that she encountered a mixture of reactions (too busy to quote, came out to quote and never got back to me, never turned up to quote or the quote was ridiculously expensive) projected her onto her journey of wanting to be an electrician, as she saw two massive gaps in the market. In the midst of a midlife crisis, she decided to retrain - the route into trades as a mature person, especially a female one, is not an easy road to travel, however she persevered. She is proud to be able to share that she went on to receive her TMIET Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Certificate. In the last 12 years she has reached the final of Screwfix Britain's Top Tradesperson. Shortly after that Hattie Hasan MBE inspired her to produce a fundraising calendar in aid of The Register Of Tradeswomen with the images captured by Sarah Toon LRPS ASICIP.Over the years she has had the pleasure of mentoring and supporting many people and is a true inspiration. To find out more about Karen head to her website - http://sheselectric.uk/And follow her on instagram here:- https://www.instagram.com/sheselectricuk/You have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Marie Smith.....Founder Of Intra Wilderness Therapy & Coaching
After suffering with depression in 2019, Marie felt like her world had fallen apart. That's when she learned to slow down, to do yoga, meditation, trained in reiki, Ayurveda yoga massage, water mastery and many more courses! However it was Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) that caught her eye - it's a combined method of CBT, NLP and Hypnotherapy. She had been on antidepressants for 2 years and had been in talking therapy which both seemed to prolong her struggles...she didn't feel like she was making progress. She didn't want to just be a recipient of RTT, she thought she may as well train in it as well!! To help those close to her...and herself too. She then started her business called Intra Wilderness Therapy and Coaching. She loves working with women, to empower them and help them overcome limiting beliefs, stress, anxiety and motivate them (as a coach) to - so that they can reach their full potential. Whilst on her journey of learning and trying new things, she decided to tackle her fear of open water swimming too. This helped to lift her out of depression and give her a focus. She has subsequently trained as a swim teacher, open water swim coach and a beach lifeguard. She wants to share her knowledge and expertise with others, whilst building a supportive, fun, adventurous community - the Facebook Group is called Wilderness Waves, and it launched on 25th May 2025.She has signed up to swim the English Channel in June 2026 and is equally scared, terrified and excited!! Her early career in teaching and education was rooted in a desire to help others fulfil their potential, but it wasn’t until she moved into global experiential events that she found a deeper connection to purpose: creating powerful, feel-good experiences that left lasting impact. Working with global brands, Charlotte noticed a disconnect between wellbeing and work, especially how people were often overloaded with information but lacked the belief or energy to implement real change. Born in Cornwall, with a deep appreciation for nature, the sea, and mental health, she recognised the need to bring more humanity and purpose into professional spaces. Retraining in coaching, organisational psychology, and behavioural modalities, she now partners with leading brands and individuals worldwide, helping them build confidence, connection, communication and success, all grounded in purpose and legacy. Her work ensures people lead and live in ways that feel meaningful, sustainable, and deeply motivating. You can connect with Charlotte here:- https://www.charlottelodeyaligned.comhttps://www.instagram.com/charlottelodey_alignedYou have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend? With Nicola Walsh......Founder Of This Mum Loves Tech
Nicola is the founder of This Mum Loves Tech. A mum of two cheeky boys, she loves tech so you don't have to! She's making it her mission to simplify tech for female entrepreneurs and help you set up affordable, stress-free systems within your business so you have more time to do what you love. From setting up automated booking and payment systems, getting started with email marketing using MailerLite, to making the most of Canva and its amazing features. She's all about making tech simple and easy to understand. Her goal is to help you reclaim precious time to focus on what you truly love, whether that’s serving your customers, creating amazing products, or spending quality time with your family. She offers support for every stage of business, from joining her free Facebook community and monthly masterclasses to diving into her low-cost membership or enrolling in her live online course or 1:1 support. She's here to help you achieve growth and balance in your online business without breaking the bank. Her journey to creating This Mum Loves Tech wasn’t planned, but like many mums, it began with having her first son in 2018. Before becoming a mum, she was set on returning to my career in children’s publishing, where she loved working on beautiful books for babies and children. But after her son arrived, everything shifted. The thought of long train commutes and limited family time made her question what I wanted my life to look like. And so began her upskilling journey, starting with social media, then website design as different part time jobs required different skills. Then when she had her 2nd son in 2022 and her eldest started school she couldn't see how even a part time role could work and still bring in the income she needed to support the family. So at the end of her second maternity leave in 2023 she agreed to give it 6 months and see what happened. And the rest is history! 18 months later she now have a lovely community of female business owners inside the this mum loves tech Facebook group. She also has a membership of ladies getting weekly tech support, has an online course and offers 1:1 support for more in depth tech tool training. With Rachel King.....Founder Of Raw Learning
After 26 years of teaching Rachel came to the realisation that she didn't fit. She loved working with kids but couldn’t understand the toxicity of adults in schools. Then a serious accident made her re-evaluate everything. Raw Learning was in the back of Rachel's mind but it wasn't until a friend came round one day and said I’ll help you that it began to come to life.Dedicated to providing therapeutic and well-being-focused education in a natural, outdoor setting, it's a safe haven for children to develop an appreciation and understanding of the wonders of our natural environment through a process of discovery and exploration. The core mission is to help neurodivergent children, suspected or diagnosed, especially those who have struggled in a traditional educational environment build self-esteem, confidence and independence through self-discovery and connection with nature. This means the work directly contributes to meaningful, positive change in the lives of children who need it most.Commitment to well-being is at the heart of everything Raw Learning does. The focus is on emotional and mental health before academics, ensuring that children feel safe, valued, and heard. This approach fosters emotional intelligence, resilience and self-confidence, and creates a nurturing environment where both children and staff can thrive. As Director and Founder, Rachel gets to lead a team that prioritises happiness, mental health, and holistic development. To find out more about Rachel and Raw Learning head here:-https://rawlearning.co.uk/https://www.instagram.com/rawlearningukYou have been listening to The Sisterhood....In Session Podcast - thank you so much for joining us!The Sisterhood Networking Group is an award winning franchise with branches in many locations across the UK.We are passionate about changing the face of in person networking, our goal being to make it as accessible and affordable for as many as possible.Nothing local for you to attend?
