Hey, Var!
by Hey, Var!
Women are meant to live communally, but we don't do this very well anymore! This leaves us feeling alone and honestly, not sure who's with us. REALLY with us. This is the place we meet to restore life together; where we link arms in deep Friendship, pulling each other to a higher place of destiny, purpose and perfection in Christ. We do this through two Hebrew words: Haver, which means "Friend," and Havar, which means "yoked together for a heavenly task."This is "Friendship in Motion” - Women carrying the weight of their lives… together.

We’ll explore how branding can launch you, the crossover between marketplace and mental health, and the freedom, faith, and fun of being Confidently Original.

92. Dreaming Together: Friendship, Fire, and Freedom
In this live conversation from the Release the Runners Crusade closed group, we talk about the beauty—and the challenge—of dreaming the same dream as friends and ministry partners. How do you stay united when you each carry different perspectives? What keeps you running together instead of pulling apart? Here’s the truth: when God’s hand is on it, you don’t have to struggle or strain. He goes before us, and we get to ask, Where is the burden light? That’s where the fun, faith, and freedom are found—the space to push the envelope, follow the fire of the Lord, and run farther and faster together. And at the heart of it all is friendship—the reminder that you do have freedom, joy, and connection, even in ways everyday life as women doesn’t always allow.

91. Crusades and Collaboration: Why the Middle Matters
This week on Hey, Var! we’re letting you in on our live conversation from the Release the Runners Crusade Facebook group as we get ready for our New Hampshire crusade this November. We’re talking about why the middle of a mission matters more than the ending—and how real success is measured in the way we work together, not just how perfect the event turns out.In the Havar way, leadership isn’t about one person giving orders—it’s about moving as a circle, pulling in the same direction, and keeping connection strong long after the crusade ends. It’s all about we over me.

90. High Stakes: Where Do I Put My Stake in the Ground?
High Stakes: Where Do I Put My Stake in the Ground?Every woman comes to a moment where she has to pause, lean in, and decide: Where will I put my stake in the ground? In this episode, we explore what it means to choose your ground—the places where your pain and passion intersect, and where God might be inviting you to build something lasting.Like the pioneers who rode into new land and marked it as their own, there’s something powerful about saying, “This is where I stand. This is what I’m called to.”We’re revisiting a moment from Episode 87: Trust Fall, thanks to a listener who asked us to go deeper.Sometimes, putting your stake in the ground is simply about saying yes—even when the next steps are still unfolding.

88. FriendTrip 2025: A Friendship Getaway @ The Reserve on Moonshine Mountain
We’re gearing up for our first official Friend Trip Getaway! We’ve dreamed about this for years—and now it’s finally happening. Four women, two duos, have said yes to the call (and somehow trusted us with their friendship, their time, and possibly their lives for 24 hours). In this episode, we unpack what these Spirit-led adventures mean to us, how they’ve become altars of becoming, and why we believe they’re worth everything. These aren’t just getaways—they’re where friendship is forged in fire, laughter sounds like worship, and the Holy Spirit meets us in the wild. We wouldn’t trade them for anything.

87. Trust Fall
It’s easy to say we trust our friends—until they ask us to prove it in ways that don’t make sense! If you’re someone who needs the full picture before you move, this one’s for you. What happens when we freefall? When you trust a God-given friend before you fully understand, it doesn’t just build the relationship—it builds something inside them too. Your trust becomes fuel, and the confidence you show in her becomes the confidence she carries into the world. We’re not talking about blind trust or ignoring red flags—we’re talking about the kind of faith that moves before it all makes sense. Let’s talk about what it really means to trust, to move with faith, and to walk the wild adventure of God-ordained friendship.

86. Break Alone: Rebuilding Your Heart for Kingdom Friendship
We’re breaking alone. But shame and abandonment run deeper—convincing us connection isn’t safe, needing others is weakness, and hiding is survival. We call it strength. God calls it stolen communion. This episode uncovers the spirit of abandon—the lie that says you’re on your own—and how shame turns it into a lifestyle of silence and mistrust.💥 In this episode:– We name wounds that shaped your independence– We break shame’s agreement that you must be okay alone– We explore how God uses friendship to rebuild what trauma guarded– And we remind you: you’re still worthy of being heldHealing isn’t just personal—it’s relational. The rubble in your heart is real. But so is the friend who won’t quit.Who shows up.Who stays to help you rebuild. That’s covenant. That’s Kingdom friendship. And that’s how you rebuild.

82. We're Back: Friendship That Brings Us and Keeps Us At the Table
It was time for a check-in! We've missed you, we've missed our mics, and even more than that, we think HAVAR is growing into a lot more than what we thought it was (what's new?!). Now we're at 82 and New. It definitely feels like a new day! We had an amazing weekend last weekend of seeing the start of something we've wanted to see for so long. Tabatha set a powerful table for local leaders and Stacey almost didn't show up. But in the end, friendship set the table, and we think it just might be friendship that keeps us there. 81. Eighty-one and Done: Haver and Havar Full Circle
Well, we didn't see this one coming. A passion to follow God and a calling to do it together sometimes doesn't look like what we imagined. In those times, we cling to Him and let go of what He asks us so that the greater things can come. Now we've come full circle to how we began: Sometimes friendship looks like staying, other times it looks like going, and always it looks like celebrating! Listen in today for how to separate your paths without separating your hearts. Together means together, even when it doesn't, and it's all going to be okay when it's God who holds you both. 80. "Me" to "We" Mentality
When we come to relationships only wanting to receive, it ends up being a pretty lonely feeling on both sides. The root of "I" is isolation, though it may not feel like it in the moment. But when we come in the posture of service, it is life-giving to everyone. The root of "We" is community, and this is where we will always find our greatest fulfillment and purpose. Join us this week as we turn our Receiving Stations into Service Stations so that we all get full! We were excited to be joined by author, fellow podcaster, and our good friend Denise Pass, who shared biblical ways to change our mindset about relationships as well as her new book, "Make Up Your Mind: Unlock Your Thoughts, Transform Your Life." It just launched and we are so happy for you, Denise! 79. The Devastation of Disconnection
Have you ever felt the pain of disconnection and with it all the painful emotions it brings? When those moments come, it may seem like it's easier to check out than to check back in. But we know in HAVAR Land that we are called to never stay gone long and to always meet back at the table because that is what God-designed Friendship does. Here's how we did it this week and WHY.

78. Why Are My Thoughts So Loud?
There's nothing worse than having our own thoughts bombard us and not knowing where they come from or WHO's behind them! As Christian women, this can be a constant struggle since all of us have a deep desire to hear God but can't always be certain it's Him who is speaking to us. This week's podcast takes a few pointers from the Samaritan Woman at the Well on what it's like when Jesus starts talking to us, and how we have the right as daughters of God to take authority over our earthly thoughts so that they are are aligned with heavenly ones. *** Have you read Tabatha's mini e-book yet?! For many women the battle for our destinies is often fought on the frontline of our minds. The taunts and torment from the enemy can leave us feeling stagnant and disillusioned. When we are redeemed by the blood, walk in the light of God's truth, and are filled with His Spirit, His light shines upon the path to Freedom, Truth, and Enlightenment that paves the way to His purposes for our lives. In "Girl, Take Yourself Off the Shelf, You Were Made to Shine," Tabatha calls us to rise up as Daughters of God, filled with His Spirit and ready to shine the light of Heaven with power and authority to a world in need of what we carry. It's the perfect companion to this week's podcast! 77. Shields Up: Creating a Culture of Honor
Feeling an uptick in warfare lately? We know we are. But we are not helpless, alone, or without ways to fight! This week God is showing us how by calling us to cover one another through one powerful action word: honor. When we grasp what it truly is, an impenetrable shield of protection raises around and over us as we move together as one. This is a whole new level of Friendship in Motion that will keep us alive and advancing forward! Do you feel far from God or like you can't hear what He's saying? Stacey's new book, "Chosen: The fire of intimacy with the Lord of the harvest" takes you on an intimate, 44-day journey to rid yourself of the noises and distractions that keep you from hearing God's passionate voice in your life. Get it here: https://www.amazon.com/Chosen-fire-intimacy-Lord-harvest/dp/B09SL32FJP/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2EKZ7W2U0S060&keywords=chosen+stacey+march&qid=1648035972&sprefix=chosen+stacey%2Caps%2C129&sr=8-1 "This is a sweet and beautiful devotional-style book that documents one woman’s journey of love with Jesus and, truly, in its essence, every woman’s journey of love with Him. I felt the ups and downs deeply as they mirror many of my own. So very relatable and effective in stirring the embers of love again."

76. Var Garden: Guarding What God Gives You to Grow

75. Alcohol & Anointing
Ok ladies, here we go! Do alcohol and the anointing of God mix? Can Havar Life at The Well include a little wine every now and then? What's the harm, right?? Well, it seems the world is asking a similar question with a phrase we heard recently: "sober curious." People have started to wonder if drinking is actually benefitting them the way they think it does and are testing it out by changing their social drinking lifestyle. This week we're pressing in, but we're not so much "sober curious" as much as we are "Holy Spirit curious"! What do you think? Does a little wine really matter at God's Well? We might ruffle some cocktail feathers this week, but we invite you to come in, grab a spritzer, and decide for yourself if you want the wine of the world that turns to water, or the water at the well that turns into wine. This round's on us, cheers!

74. Jealousy: How the Havar Life Puts an End to Third Wheel Syndrome
"Jealousy is an ugly monster! So many of us have been isolated from having true friends because of work, home, and life responsibilities, not to mention having calls on our lives that no one understands. It's hard to watch others find friendship when you know you need it as desperately as the air you breathe!" These powerful words were written by our guest and dear friend Angie Naish, who came to us because she wanted to admit what she had been feeling - jealousy over our friendship! It was keeping her stuck and isolated, but more importantly, it was robbing her of destiny. So, we gave her a big ole hug and asked her to talk about it with all of us because she's not the only one who has brought this up recently! Let's rip the lid off of this topic today, ladies! The devil can't have our destinies anymore. HAVAR LIFE IS THE NEW WOMEN'S MINISTRY OF THE 21ST CENTURY! 72. Friendship Friction: Coming Back to the Table after Misunderstanding
Do you ever have these ridiculous moments in your friendships that you think will stay a joke between the two of you forever and ever and then suddenly you find yourself telling it on a very public platform... like, say, a podcast? Ex. Normal-not-so-normal conversation one day: Tab: I do care for you, Stacey. Stacey: (completely, embarrassingly serious) But you never sit on my lap. We still don't know why, how, where this came from, but we laughed for ten hours and refer back to it at least once a week when we need a little absurd friendship pick-me-up. So, let's just say that after a couple of recent conversations where we both felt unheard, we successfully came back to the table to talk it over, and the result was Stacey got her wish. Join us in the lap of friendship this week that shares how we we worked our way through friction by discussing the dividing line of reasonableness and 4 characteristics of true community that build trust.

71. Burnout: Set Fire to Man-Made Labels. Step Into God-Given Design.
Q: What do you get when you put two best friends in a room with a lighter? A: A prophetic act to burn man-made labels and replace them with the truth of our God-given design. Once the smoke cleared, not only could we breathe again, but we could also see more clearly how God is doing this for all of us! Labels can be subtle little things that are spoken over us, sometimes maliciously but often innocently too, so we take them and wear them like badges. The trouble is that we never ask God if they're what HE'S thinking about us. We've been on quite the journey the last three weeks that led us here—to dismantling the labels so that we can step into our true identities, not just individually but together, too! So grab a lighter and join us! You'll be glad you did. One of the ways you can support Friendship Around the World is to subscribe and leave a review to this podcast. We are so grateful when you do! Each one brings a smile (and sometimes a good laugh or tear!) to us and also helps us reach more women who need this community. We are here to pull each other to a higher place of destiny, purpose, and perfection in Christ, and we don't want anyone to miss out on that! 70. Let the Prophets Out and Let's Rebuild God's House (Part 2)
Think Disney's just for kids? Well, look again... at Encanto! This story follows Mirabel who, despite lacking a "special gift" like everyone else in her family, fights to save her family's home, which is cracking from the inside due to perfectionism, control, an unwillingness to admit that something is wrong, and so many other reasons! If Wisdom can scream from the streets like Proverbs says, then it can sure scream from our TV's. And that's exactly what it did as God wrapped up our 2-part series on spiritual gifts with an animated visual so powerful we're still trying to unwrap it. Come join us on this episode, where we might have built a spiritual soap box 6 feet high, took our podcast mics to the top, and shouted for the prophets to come down. We'll talk about Bruno! And while we do, we think you'll see yourself in this story too.

69. Encanto: You're Exactly What This Family Needs (Part 1)
Do you ever feel like there's something missing, like you're not sure how to plug-in or show up, and when you do, maybe you still feel unsatisfied or frustrated? Like something just isn't clicking in? The second you received salvation, you were given Holy Spirit gifts. They are unique to you and empower you to take your place in the family of God as an active and contributing member of His supernatural Body. When you understand what your gifts are and for what purposes they were given, there is a confidence and boldness that comes upon your life for the sake of those around you. Signs and wonders will follow you. Doors will open for you. And God's power will flow through you. Paul said do not be ignorant about them! YOU have supernatural gifts. We were so excited about this topic that halfway through the podcast, we realized we needed to make this a two-parter! We couldn't continue the discussion without pausing to let you discover your gifts for yourself... because when you know your power, you also know your position, and that makes all of us stronger! To discover your gifts, you can try Stacey's method discussed on the podcast, or you can go to Tabatha's favorite tool - a quiz (linked below)! Either way, we're excited to hear what you discover, which will set us up for Part 2 next week with Tabatha's amazing encounter with God and Disney's Encanto. :) https://www.biblesprout.com/articles/god/holy-spirit/spiritual-gifts-test/ One of the ways you can support Friendship Around the World is to subscribe and leave a review to this podcast. 68. The Ask: Taking Back What the Enemy Has Stolen + More with Lisa Cowling
On this special podcast spotlight, I am so excited for you to meet my (Tabatha’s) dear friend Lisa Cowling, as she releases a powerful, right now word from the Lord for the women of God. On this episode, you will hear about how God connected us supernaturally, and how that connection led me to join a women’s supernatural gathering this week on Zoom, where Lisa shared a powerful word that she will release over us as well. God is putting women face to face with him and shoulder to shoulder with each other to release Kingdom. This gathering proved to me that one woman can connect many, so let’s dive right in to hear more!

67. Meekness Over Weakness
Okay, let's face it. No one likes to feel weak, walked on, or mistreated. Feeling powerful is a much better way to protect ourselves, right? But God doesn't want us to just feel powerful, He wants us to BE powerful. And that looks a little different than how most Christians go about it. This week God is showing us that the way to TRUE power, where the fruit of the Spirit is bursting from our lives to yield what it's supposed to, is found in this word: Vulnerability. That might seem a little odd, and if we're honest, not very exciting and maybe even a little "ummm, no thank you." But hang on. God is leading us to a special place together of unbridled force through surrender that's not weak, passive, or boring. He's showing us that the way to powerful living is through opening our hearts so that heaven opens over us. This might be vulnerability the way you haven't quite heard it talked about before. "Always be humble (lowly) and gentle (meek). Be patient (longsuffering) with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love." Ephesians 4:2 NLT One of the ways you can support Friendship Around the World is to subscribe and leave a review to this podcast. We are so grateful when you do! 66. The Quick Turnaround
Well, as we so often say around here, God rarely lets us talk about a topic we don't first have to DO. We are Friendship in Motion after all! And this week, God called a big "change of play" through a friend. We were stunned, a little breathless, relieved, scared, excited, and oh so grateful! In this season of Quick Turnarounds, we can't be confused when we start walking one way, only to have God call an audible and tell us to turn it around! This is strategy, but if we don't know that, we'll stay stuck in confusion. That's the enemy's inheritance, not ours! Turnaround - noun 1. an abrupt or unexpected change, especially one that results in a more favorable situation. 2. the process of completing or the time needed to complete a task, especially one involving receiving something, processing it, and sending it out again. When God calls an audible, it's our job to listen and respond quickly and courageously, remembering always that it's to keep us safe and move us to a more favorable place! So, get ready to watch God move in Sudden Turnarounds and Audible Plays. Listen in this week to hear about ours! Have you downloaded your FREE E-book "Hardwired for Friendship" yet? If not, go to Havar international.com for our gift to you! Also check out Tabatha's newly released mini e-book, "Girl, Take Yourself Off That Shelf, You Were Made to Shine." 65. Ditching Resolutions for Revelations
There might be a way to keep your New Year's Resolutions this year. We know, we know, some of you love this time of year when goals are set, resolutions are made, and words for the new year are optimistically etched into your journals for safe keeping. But if you're like us, maybe you're a terrible goal setter! If so, you are not alone, friend. We figured the best way for us to explode into the New Year is to ditch the normal resolutions for some good old-fashioned God-revelation. That's something we can actually keep! So join us for this New Year's Eve special episode as we break down some of the top resolutions Flaws style. Let's see what God is saying and help each other tackle this year with a little bit of accountability (but not too much, y'all) and a whole lot of fun!

64. Prophetic Etiquette
What does it mean to be a "prophetic" friendship podcast? What does it mean to be a prophetic people? And why should you even care?! Well, we'll tell you, friends. There are so many things available to us in the Kingdom as Spirit-filled believers that we aren't accessing because we don't know that we can! Today, we banter (or, as Tabatha likes to say, we "blah-blah") back-and-forth about what it means to be women who hear the voice of God and move in the NOW word of the Lord together under the "palm tree" (Tabatha again) of Friendship. We're very thankful for living imagery around here. So, from Blah-Blah's to Palm Trees, May Your Holidays Be Merry, Bright, and Prophetically Accurate!

63. What's the Truth About Making Money?
Should we feel guilty about using our God-given abilities and talents to make money? So much confusion and controversy surrounds this topic in Christian circles, so when the question came to us from one of our friends, we couldn't wait to put our Friendship two-cents in! The Bible says that God gives us the ability to create wealth (Deut. 8:18) and Jesus didn't hold back much in Matthew 25 when He called the servant who failed to multiply his money "wicked and slothful." We don't want anyone around here being called wicked and slothful, friends. So, as any two good, opinionated friends should, we kept digging to get to the root of mindsets that keep us stuck and feeling guilty. When we have a healthy understanding of WHY God gives us abilities to make money, then we can become extravagant givers and resource centers for the blessings of God to flow. Isn't that what we all want? We know we do! Big shout out to our friend Kiersten who challenged us this week! We loved it!

61. Friendship Myths Busted Up by the Holy Spirit
We had fun with this one! Looking at some common advice out there in Friendship Land, we busted up a few myths that are almost true... but not quite! It's so easy to get swept away in what sounds good because honestly, there can be a lot of truth in conventional wisdom. BUT, when filtered through the Holy Spirit, it may not be quite as true as it sounds. As Christian women who are called to live and think higher, we have to soar above the noise to gain insight the world doesn't have so we can do what the world can't do! This episode will help you filter out the good from the God. After all, isn't that what we should want for our Friendships?! MYTH BUSTERS, let's go!

This isn't your typical Thanksgiving podcast, and we are over-flowingly grateful for that. We've just returned from the Fierce Women's Conference at Convergence Point Apostolic Hub in Independence, MO, where a banquet was set for us to feast around the table of the Lord. We laughed deeply, cried irreverently, worshiped with all we had, and made new connections with women who are giving their all in pursuit of Jesus. To say we are changed is an understatement. We are transformed. To Pastor Shelley Lowery, our dear friend Cathy Tully, and all of our Fierce new sisters, this one's for you. We now know: The Feast is different when you eat with Warriors. Thank you for your fierce passion and unwavering devotion. We have tasted and seen and will remain in pursuit of the One who came to us this weekend. "He came. We knew that He would come." May your Thanksgiving be different this year as one seated in the Presence of the One who prepares the table. Feast well, sisters. "The anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul." Psalm 63:5 (TPT)

58. Does Distance Make You Distant?
Does absence really make the heart grow fonder? What about in our friendships? Can friends survive physical distance but stay emotionally connected or vice versa? On this episode, Tabatha and Stacey kick around a topic from a teen flick that Tabatha watched from her sick bed this week. Jump in with us as we talk about the pros and cons of the distance that can come between us, and what we can do to bridge the gap when it does.

A Flaws Hebrew Friendship Breakdown Haver (n.) - Friend and companion Havar (v.) - Yoked together for a Heavenly task If you've ever wondered what in the world we're talking about over here when we say weird words like Haver and Havar, this episode will clear them right up (or maybe not). We mention them all the time, but today we're exploring them side-by-side so that we understand the kind of adventure God is calling us to together. We're pulling the plug on normal Friendship and "nouning" and "verbing" our way to deep connection and motion! So come along, Var!

56. Her vs. Me, What Happened to WE?
Nothing can kill a Friendship quite like the Comparison game. If she's pretty, I must be ugly. If she's smart, I must be dumb. If she's good at this, then I must be bad at it. A thousand little thoughts (LIES!) like these and you're doomed, and that just won't do in Friendship HAVAR Land, where we are called to pull the load side-by-side and together! Aaaand you can't say we don't live out what we preach real good around here. It was Stacey's bright idea to talk about comparison, which landed us right smack dab in the middle of a Friendship fight during our first attempt at recording (for real). We pushed pause, got back our WE, hugged tight, and tried again. So, don't mind our kids Gabriel (4) and Addie (15) riding skateboards upstairs during this recording; we had to do an emergency late night Podcast session to make up for our Blow Up Gone Good. And it DID end up good.

55. Blame It All On My Roots
Sometimes it's hard to know how and where to move forward in our lives and friendships, but this week we just might have found a clue to help us. It's found in the word "zakhar," which means "to remember." Following the roots of our past helps us move forward in confidence, and it prevents us from making really dumb decisions in the present... just ask Stacey! Thank God Tabatha remembered who we are and saved us. Let's take some guidance from Hebrew culture this week and remember so that we can move forward in the fruit of our roots together.

54. Wisdom from the Desert
Join us for this Haver Homecoming Episode as Tabatha returns from her trip to AZ and Stacey rises up from her Netflix binge that carried her through worrisome flight delays and her Var so far away... Not even the wilderness of standby could stop this Exodus Retreat. There were friends made along the way and wisdom from the desert that brought Tabatha back home again.

53. Hubbies and Havers
Can you have a husband AND a best friend?! Well, we sure think so! But many women aren't quite sure if or how the two can coexist harmoniously. Prompted by a conversation Stacey had with her husband, we talk about how friendship is not only good for women, but when it's done well can be good for our husbands, too. Every one of us should find joy and fulfillment in both relationships without feeling guilty that BOTH are needed, wanted, and bring us life!

52. Fishers of Friends
Has God ever told you to “Drop your net" and "Come, follow me!" We remember when this happened to us—both of us in our own boats, doing our own thing, when Jesus said, "Hey, you two, drop what you're doing and come with Me... together!" Little did we know all those years ago the sacrifices it would take but how much greater the "Kingdom catch" would be! If you're feeling called by God to new paths and adventures, listen in for encouragement and how Friendship tells "the story of survival, resilience, and beauty borne through perseverance" when you put your nets down and GO. 51. When You Go, I Stay
Do you want to know what to do when you get yourself into a friendship pickle?! Well for starters, you can try not listening to this podcast! :) Sometimes it's okay to commit to something simply because your friend asks you to, but we are learning (through much pain and gnashing of teeth) that as God calls us deeper and higher together, no decision should be made lightly, and that sometimes the best thing you can do for your friend is to STAY when God calls her to GO.

49. HIGH VOLTAGE Friendship
Have you ever wondered what makes some friendships stagnant and others a force to be reckoned with?! In this episode, we break down what it means to be set apart to accomplish a good and holy work, and how engaging in that work is like a high voltage electrical current, moving us from one point to the next. Basically, we're Friendship scientists now. Also, Stacey announces a new venture that's been on her heart for a while that is finally launching with the help, of course, from her High Voltage Var. So plug into the HAVAR (Friendship in motion) power and join us, and after you listen to the episode, we would LOVE it if you would follow the brand new Blink 3x on Facebook & Instagram!

ABOUT THIS SHOW
Women are meant to live communally, but we don't do this very well anymore!
