#122 Ordinary Woman, Bigger Life: Lessons on Purpose, Planning & Peace- Reflections

In this reflections episode, I’m sharing what I learned through 2025 — not just from travelling, but from how life starts to look and feel after 50.I’m an ordinary woman from a working-class background, and over time I’ve realised something important: extraordinary experiences don’t require an extraordinary life. They come from how you place your attention, how you use your time, and how you gently move toward what feels more alive — even if you don’t have a clear “big goal.”We talk about:What changes after 50 (identity, priorities, energy, capacity)Burnout, nervous system needs, and the value of restWhy you don’t need a dramatic reinvention (or perfect clarity)How small structure + flexibility helps you move forward“Moving away from” what doesn’t work vs “moving toward” what you wantWhy meaning can return through simple joys (movement, nature, creativity, connection)How travel and photography became mindfulness in action for meA gentle invitation to start where you are — one small step at a timeIf you’re feeling a bit stuck, tired, or uncertain — or you’re quietly sensing a new chapter — I hope this gives you reassurance and a practical way to begin. If this resonates, tell me in the comments: what’s one small thing you could do this week to “move the needle” toward feeling better?🌿 Change, Grow & Transform (daily videos + prompts): you can start at Day 1 anytime. see you tube 2026 Awaken & Align 30 days 📩 If you want the workbook / info, contact me in January. #121 -10 things I learned living and working on the road in 2025 -campervan adventures

In 2025 I travelled across the UK in my campervan — including South Wales and Scotland — and learned a lot about planning, pacing, supplies, safety, breakdown cover, weather, anxiety, and the importance of rest. This is an honest reflection on what van life is really like: joy, fear, awe, and everything in-between. top tip -pace your travel like you’d pace your healing — novelty plus restIN 2024 I bought a campervan . I was already working from home since jan 2023 , had diverted in my work, started teaching at festivals and then dreamed of more adventure. Here i share what i discovered in the first few years and more so in 2025 . From anxiety, fear, joy , curiosity and building resilience . Tune in to hear more

DAY 20 AFFIRMATIONS TO FINDING PEACE

Affirmations for Developing Feelings of Peace — Especially on a Healing or Spiritual Path. Finding peace isn’t always easy in a world that pulls us in so many directions, but it is possible to cultivate it from within. As we grow, heal, and expand our awareness, we become more sensitive to the energy around us — and more aware of what disturbs our inner calm. Even with all the inner work you’ve done, certain environments, memories, or relationships can still activate old patterns or stir emotions you thought you’d outgrown. This video is created for anyone seeking gentle, powerful affirmations that help calm the nervous system, soothe the mind, and reconnect you with your inner steadiness. Whether you're maintaining family connections, navigating stress, or simply wanting to feel more grounded, these affirmations guide you back to the quiet strength within you.In this video, you’ll experience affirmations that support you to:• Regulate your nervous system and release tension• Cultivate emotional safety and inner calm• Strengthen your ability to respond, not react• Build resilience during stressful or triggering moments• Deepen your spiritual connection and sense of alignment• Return to peace, no matter what is happening around youResearch shows that affirmations can shift neural pathways, enhance emotional regulation, and support the body in moving out of stress and into a state of rest, clarity, and wellbeing. When repeated consistently, they help the brain anchor new patterns of thought, allowing peace to become a familiar inner state rather than something we’re constantly chasing.Allow these affirmations to be a moment of stillness — a reminder of your strength, your softness, and your power to choose how you feel.Press play when you're ready to breathe deeply, settle your energy, and invite peace back into your life.✨ Continue Your Journey With Me-book a call below , or email me [email protected]://melaniegabbienterprises.com/book-a-callIf you’d like to go deeper with your personal growth, healing, and emotional wellbeing:📘 Explore my guided journals on Amazon — designed to help you process emotions, track triggers, and strengthen your inner resilience.https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=melanie+gabbi+journals&crid=34GUA4CVU1DKL&sprefix=melanie+gabbi+journals%2Caps%2C106&ref=nb_sb_nossYou don’t have to navigate stress alone — support is here whenever you need it.

DAY 19 HOW TO NAVIGATE FAMILIY DYNAMICS-DECEMBER WELLBEING SERIES

Navigating Family Dynamics During the Holidays — Especially When You're on a Spiritual Path. The holiday season can be a beautiful time of connection — but it can also activate old patterns, wounds, and dynamics that leave even the most grounded people feeling pulled back into roles they’ve long outgrown. For anyone on a spiritual or personal growth journey, this time of year can feel especially intense. As your awareness grows, you may notice the subtle triggers, emotional pulls, or old family scripts that still get activated, even though you’ve done so much inner work.also see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egn9JOPVtrQ for dating and healing after a toxic relationship And while some people choose to step away from family gatherings completely, this video is for those who still maintain family connections but want to navigate the holidays with more clarity, boundaries, and emotional empowerment. In this video, we explore practical tools and mindful strategies to help you:• Stay grounded and centred in your own energy• Notice triggers without getting pulled back into old patterns• Communicate clearly and protect your emotional wellbeing• Manage difficult personalities and long-standing tensions• Honour your spiritual growth while still engaging with family• Move through the season with more peace, presence, and self-trustPsychological research shows that family-triggered stress can activate the body's survival systems, leading to emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, shutdown, or conflict. But with the right tools, you can regulate your nervous system, maintain your boundaries, and stay connected to the version of yourself you’re becoming — not the one your family expects you to be.This is your reminder that you can grow, evolve, and transform… and still navigate family life with grace, strength, and self-awareness.Press play when you're ready to move through the holidays with more inner peace and personal power.✨ Continue Your Journey With Me-book a call below , or email me [email protected]://melaniegabbienterprises.com/book-a-callIf you’d like to go deeper with your personal growth, healing, and emotional wellbeing:📘 Explore my guided journals on Amazon — designed to help you process emotions, track triggers, and strengthen your inner resilience.https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=melanie+gabbi+journals&crid=34GUA4CVU1DKL&sprefix=melanie+gabbi+journals%2Caps%2C106&ref=nb_sb_nossYou don’t have to navigate stress alone — support is here whenever you need it.1. DAY 18-SIMPLE RELAXATION TIPS FOR THE HOLIDAYS-THE DECEMBER WELLBEING SERIES

In a world where our minds are constantly overstimulated, learning to relax isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity for mental health, emotional balance, and long-term wellbeing. Research in neuroscience and psychology shows that simple daily relaxation practices can regulate the nervous system, lower cortisol levels, improve sleep, and reset the brain’s stress response. In today’s video, I’m sharing five simple, science-backed techniques that help you unwind, calm your body, and create a sense of inner ease. These practices work because they support the parasympathetic nervous system — the “rest and restore” mode — helping your mind shift out of tension, overwhelm, and survival mode. Here’s what relaxation can help you with:• Lowering stress and anxiety• Reducing muscle tension and physical fatigue• Improving focus, clarity, and emotional stability• Supporting better sleep and recovery• Enhancing resilience and overall wellbeingRelaxation isn’t about escaping your life — it’s about recalibrating your energy so you can think clearly, feel grounded, and move through your day with more confidence and calm. DAY 17 - MORNING BOOST TO PROMOTE FEELINGS OF GRATITUDE-THE DECEMBER WELLBEING SERIES

This morning mindset is all about cultivating gratitude — one of the most powerful ways to shift your mood and reset your nervous system. Cultivating gratitude isn’t just a “nice idea” — it’s one of the most powerful practices for improving your mental, emotional, and even physical wellbeing. Research shows that when we intentionally shift our focus toward what’s working, what’s supportive, and what brings us joy or meaning, our nervous system responds. Gratitude activates brain regions linked with emotional regulation, deepens connection, and helps us feel more grounded and resilient.Studies from positive psychology and neuroscience highlight that people who regularly practice gratitude experience:• Reduced stress and anxiety• Improved mood and higher levels of optimism• Better quality sleep• Greater resilience through difficult times• Stronger relationships and deeper feelings of connectionBoosting gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring pain or pretending everything is perfect. Instead, it’s a gentle retraining of the mind — helping you notice nourishing moments, recognise your own strengths, and shift from survival mode into a more empowered state. In today’s video, I guide you through simple tools and practices to elevate your gratitude, calm the mind, and create a deeper sense of emotional wellbeing. Whether you’re rebuilding after stress, navigating relationships, or stepping into a new chapter, gratitude can help you reconnect with your inner stability and clarity. Here’s your 2-minute practice:1. Place your hand on your heart.Feel the warmth.2. Think of 3 things you’re grateful for today.Small things count the most.3. Say:‘Thank you for this moment.’Gratitude softens the mind and expands the heart.✨ COMMENT:What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?please like subscribe and press the bell so that i can get the message out to more people -thanks for listening ✨ Continue Your Journey With Me-book a call below , or email me [email protected]://melaniegabbienterprises.com/book-a-callIf you’d like to go deeper with your personal growth, healing, and emotional wellbeing:📘 Explore my guided journals on Amazon — designed to help you process emotions, track triggers, and strengthen your inner resilience.https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=melanie+gabbi+journals&crid=34GUA4CVU1DKL&sprefix=melanie+gabbi+journals%2Caps%2C106&ref=nb_sb_noss

DAY 13-HOW TO MANAGE VISITING NARCISSIST PARENTS - THE DECEMBER WELLBEING SERIES

This is a tough one for many people when the holidays approach . Often we feel obliged or even guilt tripped into visiting family, But after years of working in children's services I saw how many families can be chaotic, dysfunctional or have parents who might act in ways that we could consider narcissist . So wow do we manage or even deal with these kinds of situations. Below are some idea, its not a comprehensive approach but it might just get you though a few days and come out the other side not exhausted but more proud of what you are able to accomplish each time . It takes time to learn that arguing a point, or trying to get them to understand you or see your view can be waisted air and just lead to exhaustion. so i hope this helps. Also see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egn9JOPVtrQ for how to heal after toxic relationships This is a big one.If one of your parents is a narcissist — holidays can feel emotionally exhausting. Here are three grounding tools:1. Lower Your ExpectationsNarcissistic parents don’t suddenly become self-aware in December.Expect less — and feel more empowered.2. Use Detached ObservationImagine watching their behaviour from a distance. You’re not responsible for their emotions.3. Have an Exit StrategyA walk outside, a phone call, stepping into another room.Create safety for yourself.Your peace matters more than their reaction.✨ COMMENT:If this resonates, you’re not alone.

#120 MIDLIFE INTRO TO THE GREAT COSMIC TWIST -MY EXPERIENCE AND THE STORIES I HEARD

In this episode I dive into what I’m calling “The Great Cosmic Twist” — because the midlife we were sold? It doesn’t look like what many of us are actually living. No sudden red sports car. No dramatic sky‑diving moment. Instead, a nervous system in recovery. A soul asking: Is this all there is?If you’re in your 40s or 50s, maybe you’ve ticked the boxes: career, family, roles. Yet something's stirring. Maybe you’re looking at your life and wondering: Who am I really? What do I want next?I share deeply from my own life — the car accident that shook me, the burnout, the shift from full throttle to slower rhythm. I talk about the conditioning that shaped our early lives (culture, family, expectations) and the emergence of a deeper, soul‑led impulse that wants more than survival. You’ll hear about:The narrative around midlife we absorb (and often reject)How the inner “nudge” starts, even when everything looks “fine”The interplay of roles, identity, bodies, hormones, and timeWhy rest, slowing down, curiosity, and presence are not luxury — they’re essentialAnd how midlife isn’t the end of the story — it’s the opening of a new oneIf you’re ready to question the “should”, honour what’s real for you, and begin living more aligned with your truth — you’re in the right place. DAY 8 -PARENTS MENTAL HEALTH & HOW TO THRIVE DURING THE HOLIDAYS-DECEMBER WELLBEING SERIES

How Parents Can Thrive During the Holidays — Protect Your Peace, Energy, and Wellbeing . The holidays can be magical for families — but they can also be exhausting, overwhelming, and emotionally demanding for parents. Between managing the kids, navigating family dynamics, juggling routines, and trying to create “perfect” memories, it’s easy to slip into stress, frustration, or burnout. This video is for parents who want to feel more grounded, present, and emotionally balanced during the holiday season — not just surviving it, but truly thriving. In this video, you’ll learn practical, research-informed tools to help you:• Reduce stress and overwhelm during busy holiday schedules• Maintain emotional balance even when the kids’ routines shift• Navigate family expectations without losing yourself• Set boundaries that protect your energy and your children’s wellbeing• Stay calm, connected, and grounded as a parent• Create meaningful moments without burning outToday is all about parenting, mental health, and simplifying the holidays so you can actually enjoy this season — instead of just surviving it. If you’re a parent, carer, or guardian, then you know this time of year comes with an extra emotional load… planning, organising, buying, juggling school events, worrying about finances, and holding space for your children’s excitement and meltdowns. And I want you to hear this clearly:Your mental health matters just as much as your child’s experience. When you’re grounded, calm, and supported, your children feel safer too. Here are three ways to thrive as a parent this holiday season:1. Lower the Pressure — For You and Your ChildKids don’t remember perfect decorations. They remember how you made them feel.Let the holiday be imperfect, messy, slow, and real.2. Say No to Over-SchedulingChildren are sensitive to overstimulation.Space, rest, and quiet play are as important as the celebrations.3. Practise the 10-Minute Presence RuleGive your child 10 minutes of undivided attention.Phone down.Eyes soft.Heart open. That small window is more powerful than hours of distracted time.Parenting isn’t about doing more — it’s about being more present.✨ COMMENT:What’s your favourite simple family tradition? Episode 19- The Cycle Of Change -Psychology & Spiritual Perspective And The Process Involved And Everyday Practical Application -

In this episode Danielle and Mel explore The Cycle Of Change. Several models in both Psychology and spirituality explore the cycle of change, its process and how to work through each stage from pre contemplations (unconscious) ,contemplation (conscious) to awareness of what is  we might feel we need to change (intention) and action (making desired changes )Mel and Danielle explore the various models that explore this such as Motivational interviewing , CBT, Psychosynthesis, Drama Triangle, Meditation ,Mindfulness, Religion,  values work and various processes, covers cycles and behavioural changeIf you would like to know more please see the article below from Positive Psychology.com  By Emily Myhill, Ph.DTranstheoretical modelOtherwise known as the stages of change, this is the most frequently occurring model in the literature. The transtheoretical model was developed by Prochaska and Velicer (1997) and suggests six stages of behavior change.Identifying the stage an individual is in helps health professionals, coaches, and therapists provide targeted interventions for that stage. The six stages of change are: PrecontemplationThe individual is not intending to change their behavior. They may be uninformed about the consequences of their behavior or lack confidence in their ability to change, sometimes because of previous failed attempts. ContemplationThe individual is intending to change their behavior within the next six months. They can see the benefits of making a change but are also very aware of the disadvantages and challenges, which can keep them stuck in this stage. PreparationThe individual is planning to change their behavior within the next month. They have usually taken some steps already, such as joining a support group, buying a self-help book, finding a coach etc., and have some form of plan in place. ActionThe individual has made significant changes to their behavior within the last six months, which has led to a different outcome in their health and/or wellbeing. MaintenanceThe individual continues to change their behavior enough to prevent relapse but is not putting as much time and effort into this as in the action stage.NOTE: Relapse can occur at any stage up to and including this one, going back to any of the earlier stages in the model. People most frequently return to contemplation or preparation for another attempt at changing their behavior (Prochaska & Velicer, 1997). TerminationThe individual is no longer tempted to use their old behavior as a coping method and feels confident in their ability to keep this change. Many people will struggle to reach this end state.

#109-Friendship Dynamics on the Road (Cambridge → Norfolk, Boundaries & Belonging)

On this leg of Changing Spaces (Through the Lens) I drive from Cambridge to Norfolk after a Windsor/London/Greenwich loop—and discover the hardest part of travel isn’t always routes or weather. It’s friendship dynamics: energy, boundaries, assumptions, and how quickly deeper patterns surface when you share tight spaces and shifting plans. This isn’t just a travel vlog. It’s a journey through landscapes, history, psychology, spirit, and identity—from castles and river buses to caravan nights and flooded roads. We’ll unpack themes like psychic load (invisible labour), assumptions vs generosity, avoidance vs clarity, energy economy, masking vs authenticity, value clashes, boundaries in action, and discernment for who to travel with (and how).Who this helps: solo travellers, vanlifers, mid-life changers, anyone renegotiating friendship/relationship dynamics or recovering from burnout.Journal promptsWhere do I carry the invisible load (planning, booking, cooking, mediating)? What drains me vs. restores me on trips? How can I protect my energy economy?Which values are clashing (e.g., freedom/flow vs. control/avoidance)?One boundary I’ll communicate before the next trip is…If this resonates, like & subscribe for more episodes on heritage, identity, psychology and slow travel.00:00 Intro & why this isn’t “just” travel01:20 Series route recap: Windsor → London → Greenwich → Cambridge01:59 New leg: Cambridge → Norfolk (weather, van issues, flooded routes)03:55 The lens: TV’s “Race Across the World” & what it reveals06:54 Theme 1: Psychic load in friendships (default organiser)08:55 Theme 2: Assumptions vs generosity (transactions vs open giving)10:58 Theme 3: Avoidance & hints vs directness (drama triangle)13:15 Theme 4: Energy economy (what it costs to tolerate drains)16:10 Theme 5: Masking → authenticity (speaking needs early)17:40 Theme 6: Value clashes (freedom/flow/shared responsibility)19:55 Theme 7: Boundaries in action (small acts of self-respect)22:30 Theme 8: Discernment—who’s a good match to travel with?24:30 Takeaways, journal prompts & invitation to reflectTimestamps / Chapters#ChangingSpaces #VanlifeUK #SoloFemaleTravel #FriendshipDynamics #Boundaries #EmotionalLabor #Psychology #UKRoadTrip #Cambridge #Norfolk #EnergyEconomy #SlowTravel

#105- Returning to Bute: Heritage, Belonging & the Power of Hidden Stories

In this episode of Changing Spaces, I return to the Isle of Bute—my mother’s birthplace—for the first time since childhood. What began as a simple campervan journey quickly turned into an emotional homecoming filled with synchronicity, unexpected meetings, and stories long hidden within my family’s past. From driving onto the ferry with a racing heart to finding myself welcomed by islanders who remembered my nan, my uncle, and even family secrets once kept quiet, this was more than travel—it was reconciliation. I discovered what it means to be a Brandane, connected with extraordinary people like Billy and Bobby, and began weaving together the threads of ancestry, identity, and belonging. This is not just a story about Scotland, but about how place, memory, and people awaken something within us. If you’ve ever revisited your roots or wondered what it means to belong, this episode will speak to you.#ChangingSpaces #IsleOfBute #HeritageJourney #FamilyStories #ScottishRoots #CampervanLife #Ancestry #Belonging #HiddenStories #EmotionalJourneyIsle of Bute podcast, Scotland ancestry stories, campervan journey UK, reconnecting with heritage, Brandane meaning, Scottish roots identity, family history podcast, Changing Spaces podcast, emotional travel stories, belonging and ancestry Scotland

#104 -Friendships, boundaries, and what happens when our peace gets disrupted

Hi, this is Mel Gabbi, and welcome back to Changing Spaces. Today I want to talk about something we all experience at some point: friendships, boundaries, and what happens when our peace gets disrupted. The StoryI’ve just started my journey up to Scotland, but it began with a few days in London with a friend visiting from America. We did some great things together — Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, a river bus to Greenwich, and wandering through markets. On the surface, it was fun and exciting. But underneath, I found myself exhausted. Carrying bags across London, late nights, noise when I needed quiet, I realised how different our rhythms are. The ReflectionWhat I noticed is this: friendships that work well for a few hours over lunch don’t always work when you’re together 24/7. And that’s not because the friendship is broken — it’s because our values clash when tested under pressure. And this is where I see echoes of something bigger. History has always been about power and negotiation — from feudal lords and peasants, to workers and wages, to citizens and politics. In friendships, it’s about who sets the tone, who adapts, and who holds the space for freedom. The LessonI realised I don’t want to carry other people’s avoidance, sulking, or passive anger. And maybe you’ve felt that too. Maybe you’ve had a friendship where you suddenly feel like the parent, or the organiser, or the one giving more than you receive. Maybe you’ve noticed that when your peace is disrupted, your energy, creativity, and joy start to disappear. The TakeawaySo here’s the heart of it: true friendship honours values, boundaries, and freedom. And sometimes, the most powerful choice is to create space — not because we don’t care, but because we care about staying true to ourselves. So if you’ve ever travelled with a friend, or even just had them stay with you, and felt your peace disrupted — know that you’re not alone. Thanks for listening, and I’ll see you in the next episode of Changing Spaces.

#103 -EPIC WALES PART 3 -CHANGING SPACES

Changing Spaces – Through The Lens, is where I explore campervan travel, heritage journeys, psychology, spirituality, and the freedom to create new stories at midlife. I travel by campervan, sometimes staying in nice cottages, hotels and caravans , and film what I see, and reflect on the conversations I have and explore the layers beneath the landscape—such as the local industry, migration, uprisings, class, and the quieter stories written into stone, coastlines, and communities

#102- ST HILD AND HER POWER UNKNOWN TO MANY

St Hild was deeply connected to York and Canterbury through the Synod of Whitby (664). Here’s how it fits:At that time, the Celtic Church (rooted in Irish/Scottish traditions, especially from Iona and Lindisfarne) celebrated Easter on one date, following their own calendar. The Roman Church, centred in Canterbury (linked to Rome itself), celebrated Easter on a different date. This wasn’t just about the calendar — it symbolised two different traditions of Christianity in Britain.Hild gathered church leaders and scholars together at Whitby Abbey, which she led, to settle the issue. This was remarkable because:She presided over the council as host and abbess, creating the conditions for dialogue. She held space for men of huge authority — bishops, kings, and scholars — to debate in her abbey.Ultimately, the decision went with the Roman calculation of Easter, bringing unity with Canterbury and Rome, which gave the English church consistency and authority. So yes — Whitby Abbey became the place where the church aligned, and Hild was at the centre of it.✨ From a Changing Spaces perspective, this is:A woman leading not just a monastery but a moment of transition for an entire nation’s faith. The tension between local tradition (Celtic) and wider conformity (Roman). Her abbey as a meeting ground — a container for reconciliation and decision-making.listen in for my experience of this unfurling information

#101- CULTURE CLASS RELIGION AND IDENTITY PT 1-CHANGING SPACES

Welcome to Changing Spaces —.This isn’t just travel—it’s a reconciliation with identity, faith and family inheritance. Cathedrals, coastlines, and the stories we carry. In this episode I go deeper into identity, religion, and inheritance. I share my story of growing up between worlds (Scottish roots, Dutch/Irish/Italian threads), school assemblies shaped by Christianity, a mother who left organized religion but kept a deep spirituality, and how that shaped my search for belonging.Along the road—through abbeys, museums, coastlines—I’m exploring how history shapes who we are today: St Hild and Whitby Abbey, York Minster, synods, Catholic vs Protestant echoes, class and working-class life, and the hidden family stories we carry. This is pilgrimage and reconciliation as much as travel.🔔 If this resonates, please like & subscribe on my you tube page , to also see videos of the lovely spaces I visit . #99 MASKING VS AUTHENTICITY IN FRIENDSHIPS

Hi — Mel GabbI here and welcome back to Changing Spaces. Inthe last episode I talked about how travelling with friends can expose value clashes and old patterns. Today I want to share the next layer: what it feels like to move from masking your needs to naming them — and why that matters forfreedom, friendships and our nervous systems. Set-up — the London flashback (brief)After a busy London stretch with a visiting friend, I feltdepleted. Late nights, lots of walking, noise when I needed quiet. I realised that when I’m exhausted I used to hide it — especially with certain people ,because any sign of tiredness became an invitation for drama, control or blame. So for years I held back. I muted myself to avoid being used against me.But on this trip something shifted. I started to say thingsout loud. I told my friend I needed quieter nights. I noticed what happened when I didn’t — resentment, small explosions, or snapping. And I noticed whathappened when I did — a sense of calm arriving, even in the middle of tension.the power of creating a container that matches your needs. What this reveals about friendshipsHere’s the lesson: friendships that work for short meetupsdon’t always survive the strain of extended time One person’s quiet is another’s boredom. One person’s generosity is another’s accounting. Neither stance is “bad” —they’re different values. The skill is to notice that and choose how torespond. I now practise a different stance: calm authority. I name my needs, protect my rest, and refuse to be the person who smooths over everything at my own expense. That’s not punishment — it’s preservation of creativity, peace, and wellbeing. Closing reflection & invitationTravelling together offers a mirror. It shows us where we’restill responding from survival, and where we can act from choice. For me, that’s the heart of Changing Spaces — shifting contexts, shifting patterns.
