Stop Waiting: How To Build Confidence Through Action

Most people think confidence comes first, then action. So they wait. They wait to feel ready, to feel sure, to feel less scared. But waiting doesn’t make it easier. It only reinforces the belief that you can’t handle it.In this episode, I break down why fear isn’t a stop sign, why procrastination is usually just avoidance of discomfort, and how waiting slowly erodes self trust. We talk about why overwhelm and decision paralysis keep you stuck, why clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder, and why the smallest next action is often the most powerful one. This is part one of a six part mindset framework built around rules to live by. Rules that are simple, practical, and designed to move you forward when you feel stuck. If you’ve been waiting to feel ready before you start, this episode will help you reframe fear, rebuild self trust, and take action even when it feels uncomfortable.Because the cold water doesn’t get warmer if you jump late.

I Was Supposed To Be In Miami

This was meant to be the biggest weekend of my career! My pro debut in Miami. Instead I found myself in the bush, off grid, surrounded by cows, silence… and something I didn’t expect: peace. I open up about the pressure of chasing big goals, the heartbreak of changing plans and the anxiety that came with it all. When I got the flight notification for a trip I wouldn’t take, I knew I had to do something to reclaim my energy. So I disappeared for a weekend, no phone, no social media, no tracking, no pressure. Slowing down helped me let go of the guilt, the expectations and the noise. I was able to reconnect with myself, reflect on the comparison trap we fall into and realise that peace isn’t found through pushing - it’s found through presence. If you’ve ever felt trapped by the timeline you thought you “should” be on or overwhelmed by what didn’t happen… this episode is for you.Follow Mindset LoungeFollow MorganWOLFpak code: MorganVelocity code: MorganLove ya!
