Episode 43: The Problem Isn’t Them, It’s the Manual You Created for Them That is Frustrating You

In this episode, I talk about the invisible manuals I realized I had created for almost everyone in my life. Manuals for how husbands should act, how teenagers should behave, how kids should respond, and even how strangers should show up in the world. I share how my brain was constantly comparing reality to these made up rules and how that comparison was creating frustration, hurt, and disappointment.I dive into what is actually happening in our brains when people do not meet our expectations and why learning to question those manuals has completely changed the way I experience relationships. I share personal stories about Cody, parenting, teenagers, and the freedom that comes when we stop arguing with reality and start loving people for who they truly are instead of who we think they should be.This episode is an invitation to notice the rules you have created in your own mind and practice saying, “Not anymore.”#NotAnymorePodcast #MindsetShift #SelfAwareness #Relationships #PersonalGrowth

Episode 42: Stop Saying “I Have To” and Start Enjoying Your Life Again - How to Turn Pressure Into Joy Like an Olympian

What if the stress you feel every day isn’t actually coming from your life but from the story you’re telling yourself about it?In this episode, I’m sharing a powerful mindset shift that completely changed how I show up in my life. Inspired by Olympian Alysa Liu and her ability to compete with joy instead of pressure, I break down the difference between thinking “I have to” versus choosing “I want to” and how that one small shift can change everything.I walk you through real life examples from my own week including motherhood, workouts, hard conversations, and even the mental load that started showing up physically in my body. I talk about how our thoughts create our feelings and how the pressure we carry is often self created.I also tie this back to concepts from Byron Katie and past episodes where we’ve talked about turning stress into something lighter and more intentional. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in pressure, or like everything is just too much, this episode will help you release that weight and step back into a more joyful, empowered way of living. You don’t have to do anything. Episode 41: Why Life Feels So Hard and the “Harvard Mindset” That Can Change How You Handle It

In this episode I share a mindset shift that completely changed the way I handle hard days.Like most of us, I have moments where I catch myself thinking, “Why is this so hard?” Between parenting challenges, overwhelming schedules, unexpected news, and emotional days, it can feel like life is just piling on. Recently I had one of those days. The kind where everything felt off and the temptation to complain, snap, or shut down was very real.Instead, I used a simple mental tool that helped me completely reframe what I was experiencing.I started thinking about Harvard.Harvard only accepts about 3% of applicants. The people who get in know it is going to be incredibly difficult and they want that challenge because they understand the growth, opportunity, and transformation that come from it.So what if the hardest things in our lives are not proof that something is wrong? What if they are proof that we got in?In this episode I walk through how I use what I call the Harvard mindset to shift from feeling overwhelmed and frustrated to showing up as the person I actually want to be. I share how this perspective helps me handle hard parenting days, emotional overwhelm, setbacks, and stressful seasons with more resilience, personal responsibility, and growth. If you have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in negative thoughts, or asking yourself why life feels so hard, this episode will help you reframe challenges, strengthen your mindset, and step into personal growth instead of resistance.Because hard does not mean you are failing.Sometimes hard means you are exactly where you are meant to grow. And the real question becomes this. I walk through the four powerful questions that help me stop overthinking, stop reacting, and take responsibility for my own emotional growth. I also explain what a turnaround is and how flipping the story can completely change your confidence, communication, and peace. This is not about tolerating disrespect or ignoring real problems. This is about personal growth, healthier boundaries, and learning how to respond instead of react. If you want stronger communication in your relationships, more confidence, and practical tools for emotional maturity, this episode will give you a simple framework you can start using today. It might feel uncomfortable at first, but this work has helped me stop blaming and start growing. Episode 37: What Is a Mindset and How Do You Change It

In this episode  I am sharing how I stopped believing that mindset is something you are born with and learned how to change my mindset by rewiring my brain. For years I felt overwhelmed frustrated and stuck. I thought something was wrong with me or that I was just wired this way. What I discovered instead is that my brain was simply out of shape and running on outdated thought patterns.I talk about how people we call geniuses like Albert Einstein Oprah Winfrey Michael Jordan Thomas Edison and Taylor Swift were not born with extraordinary talent but built greatness through repetition persistence and mental conditioning. Their success was not genetics it was mindset.I break down how thoughts create emotions how repeated thoughts turn into beliefs and identity and how mindset directly affects mental health biology and the way we show up in everyday life.If you are tired of feeling overwhelmed anxious resentful or burned out I share a simple but powerful tool called a thought download to help you identify the thoughts that are no longer serving you and replace them with ones that support the life you want to live. This episode is for anyone who is done tolerating old beliefs and ready to say not anymore and create the life they've always wanted.#personaldevelopment #mindset #growthmindset #selfgrowth #mentalhealth #rewireyourbrain #changeyourmindset #overcomingoverwhelm #emotionalhealth #lifecoaching #selfimprovement #healingjourney #thoughtwork #notanymore

Episode 36: I’ll Be Happy When...Why That Thought Keeps You Stuck

For years, I believed happiness was something I’d reach once my circumstances changed. When the baby slept through the night, when my body looked different, when my marriage felt easier, when I had more money, a different job, or a smoother season of life. But what I discovered is this. We can arrive at the destination we believe will finally make us happy and still feel unhappy because we bring the same brain and the same thought patterns with us.In this episode, we talk about why true happiness is not found in changing your circumstances but in learning how to manage your thoughts in the middle of real life. This conversation is about emotional well being, mindset shifts, and personal development for women who feel stuck waiting for life to feel better. I share how happiness became available to me when I stopped postponing it and started choosing it now, even in imperfect and messy seasons. We explore how our thoughts, not our situations, create feelings like stress, sadness, frustration, and overwhelm. Using real life examples from marriage, parenting, and everyday situations, I explain how learning to manage your mind allows you to experience peace and happiness regardless of what is happening around you.If you are interested in mindset coaching, personal growth, emotional resilience, or learning how to be happy now instead of waiting for someday, this episode will help you see your life differently and give you practical tools you can start using today.#personaldevelopment #mindset #mindsetcoach #happiness #selfgrowth #emotionalwellbeing #mentalwellness #thoughtwork #lifecoaching #womenpodcast #momlife #marriageandmindset #parentingmindset #selfimprovement #choosehappiness

Episode: 35 When is the Last Time You Did something for the First Time?

When is the last time you did something for the first time? If you had to stop and think about it, you are not alone. As we get older, we get more comfortable in our routines and more resistant to change. We say no more often. We avoid being bad at things. We protect the identity we have built instead of staying curious and flexible. Meanwhile, kids are constantly doing things for the first time and thriving while doing it.In this episode of Not Anymore, I explore why kids are naturally more resilient, flexible, and willing to try new things, and what happens to our brains as we age. I break down how brain plasticity, risk taking, and curiosity fuel learning in children, and how adults slowly become more rigid, not because we cannot grow, but because we stop choosing growth.I share personal stories about doing things for the first time, from pickleball to speaking events to traveling alone, and why every single time I am always glad I did. You will also learn five practical ways adults can retrain their brains to become more flexible, confident, and open to learning again. This episode is for moms, women, and anyone in a season of growth who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or afraid to start something new. If you are craving personal development, more confidence, and a mindset shift that helps you step outside your comfort zone, this conversation is for you.It is not too late to learn. It is not too late to change. It is not too late to try.Do something for the first time again and say Not Anymore to a life that feels smaller than it should.#NotAnymorePodcast #PersonalDevelopment #GrowthMindset #SelfImprovement #WomenAndGrowth #MomLife #MotherhoodJourney #LearningAndGrowth #MindsetShift #ResilientWomen #ConfidenceBuilding #LifeLongLearning #IntentionalLiving #DoHardThings #GrowthAsAMom

Episode 34: How to Shift From Scarcity to Abundance in All Areas of Your Life

For years, I lived with a scarcity mindset around money, time, and energy without even realizing it. I grew up watching money be held tightly, locked away, protected out of fear. That mindset was inherited, passed down from generations shaped by survival and the Great Depression. And while I’m deeply grateful for everything my dad provided, I eventually reached a moment where I said not anymore. In this episode, I share the exact shift that changed everything for me. From my time in real estate wholesaling with Cody and hearing people say there are not enough leads in my market, to the simple ocean and five gallon bucket analogy that cracked my perspective wide open. The problem was never the supply. It was the size of my container.I walk you through my journey of rewiring deep scarcity patterns, the neuroscience behind why change feels so hard, and the daily practices that helped me step into an abundant mindset. From listening to the same Bob Proctor abundance meditation for nearly four years, to creating mantras that reshaped how my brain related to money, energy, and time, this episode is a real look at how abundance is built through consistency.I also introduce the FLO Model, a simple framework I created to help you move from scarcity to flow in real time. Faith in the belief that there is more than enough. Letting go of fear, control, and inherited money stories. Opening yourself to receiving so abundance can actually move through you.You will hear powerful analogies about money flowing like a river, why generosity keeps abundance circulating, and how abundance works just like an endless wave. The flow never stops coming. We just have to get better at riding it.This episode is for you if you are ready to shift your money mindset, break free from scarcity thinking, and step into abundance with confidence, faith, and trust. Whether you are an entrepreneur, wholesaler, creative, or simply someone who wants to experience more ease with money and life, this conversation will expand your perspective and your capacity.Abundance is not something I chased. It was always there. I just learned how to let it flow.Let it FLO. 🌊 #MindsetShift #AbundanceMindset #MindsetForMoms#PersonalGrowthJourney#Healing #RewritingMyStory#InnerWorkMatters #MoneyMindset #faith #growth #personaldevelopment #PodcastForWomen #PodcastForMoms

Episode 33: How To Turn Stress Into Fun

In this episode I share the moment I realized that the stress I was feeling was not coming from my circumstances. It was coming from the story I was telling myself about them. I talk about a designer who simply decided she does not get stressed, and how that one conversation opened my eyes to the possibility that things I had labeled as hard might actually get to be fun.I share how two teachers can experience the same classroom in completely different ways, how my own thoughts used to make simple things feel heavy, and how shifting my perspective has lowered my stress and made my days lighter. I also talk about my new mantra that has changed everything for me. Not only does it always work out, but it is fun.If you are feeling weighed down by something right now, this episode will help you see your situation through a different lens and choose a new story that makes your life feel lighter and more enjoyable.#MindsetShift #ChangeYourStory #PositiveMindset #ChooseJoy #StressFreeLife #MindsetMatters #PersonalGrowthJourney #RewriteYourStory #MindsetCoach #ThoughtWork #lifecoach

Episode 32: It's Okay To Not Be Okay

In this episode of Not Anymore, I share a story that stopped me in my tracks.  I was at the doctor’s office where my kids were laughing and having fun, and I was embarrassed and frustrated, worried about what everyone else was thinking. That moment became a mirror that showed me how often I tie my worth as a mom to how “put together” everything looks on the outside.I talk about what it means to give ourselves permission to feel and to stop pretending we’re fine when we’re not, and to understand that emotional intelligence isn’t about being happy all the time. It’s about learning to recognize, name, and regulate our emotions so they work for us instead of against us.If you’ve ever felt anxious, overwhelmed, or like you’re failing because you can’t keep it all together, this episode is for you. For most of my life, I loved being the one cheering everyone else on.I’d send encouraging texts, celebrate people’s wins, and show up like their biggest hype girl. But deep down, I was craving that same kind of cheerleader. Someone to notice me, to tell me I was doing a good job.And if I’m being honest, that need for validation caused tension in my marriage, exhaustion in my hustle, and an emptiness I couldn’t shake.Everything changed the day a mentor looked me straight in the eyes and said,“Wendy, it’s your job to cheer yourself on. And it hit me: Wendy, take your own advice. In this episode, I share what it means to live with the wisdom and perspective of our future selves. The calm, grounded, ten-years-wiser version of us who already knows everything works out exactly as it should. Episode 28: How to Overcome Anxiety and Fear

In this episode, I’m opening up about the stories we tell ourselves — and how faith has helped me rewrite fear and find peace, even in the middle of uncertainty. It all started with a conversation I had with one of my kids about Jesus asking His disciples to cast their nets into shallow water. Logically, it didn’t make sense… but they trusted Him — and that trust led to a miracle. That story made me think about how often I’ve tried to “logic” my way through life — in business, parenting, and faith — instead of trusting that God is guiding the process, even when I can’t see all the pieces. In this episode, I share how I’ve learned to:✨ Recognize the fear-based stories that fuel anxiety and doubt✨ Use faith and awareness to calm the chaos in my mind✨ Journal through anxious thoughts using my Thought Hurricane method✨ Ask myself the questions that help reframe fear and create peace✨ Anchor into empowering mantras like “Life is happening for me, not to me” and “It always works out”If you struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or the need to control how everything turns out — this episode will give you practical tools and faith-filled perspective to help you find peace in the unknown. You don’t have to have all the puzzle pieces; you just need enough faith to cast your net. #FaithOverFear#OvercomingAnxiety #RewriteYourStory #TrustTheProcess#FaithBasedMindset #CalmTheChao #ChristianGrowth #FaithOverLogic #LifeIsHappeningForMe #MindsetMatters#PersonalGrowthJourney #personalgrowth#PeaceOverPanic

I’ve been away from the mic for several months — summer trips, back-to-school chaos, and even losing my computer charger. But today I’m back with an episode I wish I could have whispered to myself years ago: You are not your results. For so long, I tied my worth to productivity, performance, and how much I could achieve in a day. I thought crossing off a never-ending to-do list would finally make me feel enough. But it never did. In this raw conversation, I share what I’ve learned about separating self-worth from results, and how to build inner peace, self-validation, and authentic confidence. You’ll hear stories about overachieving, body image, and hustling for approval, plus wisdom from voices like Robin Sharma, Marcus Aurelius, and Jay Shetty. In this episode, I’m sharing one of the most impactful tools I’ve used to take back control of my thoughts and emotions—something I learned from Jody Moore and Brooke Castillo that completely changed the game for me. When we moved to St. George and Cody left for HXP, I was alone, overwhelmed, and spiraling mentally. That’s when I found coaching and learned a model that helped me shift everything. I’ve simplified it so it’s easy to remember—and I call it the TEAR model (Thought, Emotion, Action, Result). This model helped me see that it’s not my circumstances making me feel overwhelmed or defeated—it’s my thoughts about them. And if I can choose my thoughts, I can change my life. In this episode, I walk you through real-life examples (like parenting moments, friendship triggers, or just everyday chaos) and how I’ve used this model to flip the script. You’ll hear me say this a lot: Not Anymore. Episode 20: It Always Works Out

Lately, I’ve added four little words to the end of my journal entries, and they’ve completely shifted the way I think, act, and trust: It always works out.In this episode, I open up about how I used to let fear, anxiety, and worst-case scenarios take over my thoughts. But then I decided—Not Anymore!Inspired by the powerful story in the book Surrender, I reflect on what it truly means to trust life—and to trust God. From infertility struggles and parenting challenges to starting businesses from scratch, facing financial uncertainty, and feeling stuck in seasons of waiting, I’ve learned this: when we choose to believe the story ends well, our thoughts begin to shift—and peace gently takes the place of panic.I walk you through real moments from my life (and others I love) that once felt impossible, but now—looking back—I see how perfectly they worked out. Every trial was a wave carrying me to something greater. So I’m here today, looking you in the eyes (yes, you), telling you from the depths of my heart: It always works out. Breathe that in. Say it out loud. Post it on your mirror. Because the more you believe it, the more your life will rise to meet that belief. No more fear scripts. No more anxiety loops. Just faith. Just truth. Just peace.Let’s rewrite the story together - because it ALWAYS works out! #ItAlwaysWorksOut #FaithOverFear #NotAnymorePodcast #MindsetShift #Surrender #TrustTheProcess #PeaceOverPanic #ThoughtWork #LifeHappensForYou #WomenOfFaith #AnxietyRelief #PersonalGrowth #lifecoach #personaldevelopment #faith #trust #God #rewriteyourstory #hope

Episode 1: Why did I start a podcast?

Starting a podcast is scary, uncomfortable and vulnerable, so why am I doing it? I'm not taking the comfortable, safe route. I'm heading into the unknown and figuring this out! So...NOT ANYMORE! was born. Ready or not world (and me😳), here I come!
