#169 Inner Spaciousness: A Guided Pause to Come Back to Yourself

In this gentle episode of The Everyday Ceremony, you are invited to slow down, pause, and reconnect with the spaciousness that already exists within you.Through a short guided reflection and sensory awareness practice, this episode offers a moment to step away from the constant stimulation of notifications, news, and external demands — and instead return your attention to the inner space of your body.Together we explore what it means to create space for whatever is present within us: emotions, thoughts, questions, doubts, insights, or simply the quiet rhythm of being alive.Rather than trying to change anything, this episode invites you to hold your inner world with softness and curiosity. By allowing feelings and thoughts to move freely within a wider inner space, we can experience more presence, playfulness, and ease in our daily lives. In this episode you’ll be guided to:Arrive in your body through your sensesNotice the rhythm and movement of your inner worldCreate spaciousness around thoughts and emotionsUse breath and awareness to soften inner tensionRemember the beauty of simply being presentSometimes all we need is a pause — a breath, a moment of awareness — to remember that life is not only about getting somewhere, but also about experiencing the journey.Take this moment for yourself.

#168 Long-Term Love: How to Rise in Love Instead of Falling Out of It

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, I share a deeply personal reflection on long-term relationships, marriage, and what happens when the feeling of being “in love” fades. Drawing from my own experience of separation, reconnection, and becoming a parent, I explore why falling in and out of love is natural — and why it doesn’t have to mean the end of a relationship. We look at three phases of love: falling in love, falling out of love, and rising in love. Falling in love often happens through chemistry, attraction, or shared wounds. Falling out of love brings us back to our human patterns — fear, insecurity, frustration, and unmet needs. Rising in love, however, is a conscious choice: choosing compassion, curiosity, honesty, and self-responsibility instead of pressure, obligation, or self-sacrifice.This episode invites you to shift from expecting love to come from another person to cultivating love from within. It’s about learning to honour yourself while respecting the other, responding instead of reacting, and choosing love as a way of being rather than a fleeting feeling. Whether you’re in a romantic relationship, navigating a breakup, or reflecting on your relationship with yourself, this conversation offers a new framework for understanding love beyond chemistry and obligation. This is an episode about conscious partnership, emotional maturity, and the possibility of rising together in love — again and again.

#167 Anxiety & the Year of the Fire Horse

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, I share some reflections on anxiety while walking through the forest — and how much of what we call “anxiety” is actually created by the way we try to deal with it.Anxiety can feel like pressure from the inside and constriction from the outside. It can make us small, trap us in loops of thinking and behaving, and keep us standing at the edge of life instead of truly living it. But what if anxiety doesn’t need to be fixed or solved — only felt?I talk about:Why anxiety often grows when we try to control or suppress itHow “anxiety about anxiety” creates even more pressureWhy movement (like walking) helps pressure de-moveThe danger of confusing passion with pressureThe metaphor of the firehorse — and what it teaches us about pacing our livesHow your body is your horse, and listening is your responsibility as the riderThis episode is an invitation to slow down, soften, and get honest with what you’re feeling — without trying to change it. To stop racing the horse and start caring for it. To let presence guide your pace instead of panic.Fire can burn a forest.Fire can also be a candle.Make this year about the horse. Not about exhaustion — but about care.

#166 A Meditation on Honesty: Meeting Yourself Exactly Where You Are

This meditation is an invitation to slow down, soften, and meet yourself exactly as you are — without pressure, without force, and without the need to change anything.Rather than trying to relax or fix yourself, this practice focuses on honest witnessing: noticing the body, the breath, emotions, sensations, and thoughts with curiosity and care. From this honesty, intimacy with yourself naturally arises — and with it, a deeper sense of peace and freedom. In this meditation, you’ll be guided to:Find a comfortable position that truly supports your bodyObserve your natural breath without trying to change itGently scan the body for tension, sensation, and needsMeet emotions and energy with compassion instead of resistanceWitness thoughts without judgment or categorisationCultivate peace by allowing what is, rather than trying to escape itThis is a practice of presence, self-trust, and self-acceptance. A reminder that the most gentle transformation happens through full embrace — and that clarity and peace are found not in the absence of chaos, but in resting within it.Place a hand on your chest.Place a hand on your belly. And remember: you are allowed to be exactly who you are in this moment.

#165 From Fear to Trust: How to Feel Fear Without Being Ruled by It

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, I share my perspective on how to transform fear into trust — not by getting rid of fear, but by learning how to truly meet it.Fear is not the enemy. It is a natural, intelligent part of our system that once kept us alive. But when fear arises without real danger, it can become a constriction that limits our freedom, joy, and sense of safety. What keeps fear alive is not fear itself — it’s our fear of fear.In this episode, we explore how trust is not an end result, but an approach. Trust is something we practice in the very moments when fear is present. You’ll be invited to explore:Why repressing or reacting from fear keeps it aliveHow fear turns into trust when it is faced and feltThe difference between real danger and perceived dangerHow the nervous system learns safety through presenceWhy feeling fear without reacting creates calm, clarity, and grounded actionThis is an episode about slowing down, checking in with the present moment, and allowing fear to be felt without letting it take control. When fear is met with trust, it no longer needs to protect — and what remains is safety, relaxation, and choice.Trust fear by facing it.Feel it without feeding it.And let trust become the way you meet life.

#164 How to truly enjoy and surf the Waves of your Life

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, I share my perspective on how to truly enjoy life — using surfing as a metaphor for what it means to be alive. We often believe that enjoyment lives only in the highs: the breakthroughs, the moments of ecstasy, the perfect waves. But just like surfing, those moments make up only a small fraction of the experience. Most of life is paddling, waiting, getting pounded, trying again, softening, learning, and listening. This episode is an invitation to fall in love with the entire process — not just the highlights. To stop chasing waves that aren’t ours, to release comparison, and to listen honestly to what kind of “board,” pace, and life actually suits your body and your soul.We explore:Why chasing highs often leads to disappointmentHow comparison steals joy from your own rhythmThe wisdom of softening, surrendering, and trusting life’s timingWhat surfing teaches us about patience, resilience, and self-honestyHow to enjoy the waiting, the paddling, and even the poundingLife is wild, unpredictable, and deeply intelligent. And when we stop forcing and start listening, the waves that are meant for us arrive — perfectly matched to our capacity. This is an episode about slowing down, choosing wisely, and learning to love all of life — not just the moments we post about.

#163 Transform Confusion into Clarity: A Return to Trust, Patience & Inner Knowing

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, I share my personal process of returning from confusion, pressure, and inner unease back to clarity and confidence. We often try to force clarity — by seeking more information, asking the “right” questions, or pushing ourselves to know. But true clarity can never arise from rush, pressure, or unease. It begins with honesty. With acknowledging: I feel confused right now. This episode is an invitation to slow down, to soften, and to explore the quality of the questions you are asking yourself. Rather than trying to fix what feels wrong, we explore how patience, acceptance, and compassionate self-enquiry create the foundation for clarity to naturally emerge. You’ll be guided to reflect on:Why forcing answers often creates more confusionHow honesty and acceptance spark clarityThe power of asking: What do I need right now?How caring for yourself allows answers to arrive effortlesslySometimes clarity isn’t an answer — it’s a quality of presence. And sometimes taking care of yourself is the clarity you need.

#162 Connect with Your Inner Wisdom & the Intelligence of the Body - Guided Meditation

This guided meditation is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with the wild, intuitive intelligence that lives within your body.Rather than trying to fix, change, or understand yourself, this practice gently guides you into deep inner listening — sensing what is present, allowing sensations, thoughts, emotions, and needs to arise without judgment or pressure. Through breath, awareness, and compassionate witnessing, you are invited to meet the parts of yourself that are asking for attention with softness, curiosity, and care. This meditation supports you in reconnecting with your own rhythm, building trust in your body’s wisdom, and remembering that nothing about you needs to be fixed. Everything you need is already here, waiting to be listened to.You can practice this meditation lying down, sitting, or walking — allowing yourself to move, adjust, and flow as your body guides you.A space for gentleness.A return to safety within.A remembering: you are enough, exactly as you are.

#161 Honour your Wild Wisdom: Listening to the Intelligence of the Body

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, we explore wild wisdom — the innate intelligence of the body and its connection to something far greater than the thinking mind can perceive. Our bodies are wild, animal, and deeply intelligent. Yet in a world shaped by productivity, structure, and constant forward motion, we’ve learned to override this wisdom in favor of plans, routines, and mental control. This episode is an invitation to return to the body as a living compass — to listen to tension, fatigue, pain, and emotional patterns not as problems to fix, but as messages asking for our attention. We reflect on burnout, illness, and exhaustion as moments where the body demands to be heard, and on how true transformation begins not by figuring things out, but by slowing down, sensing, and honoring what is needed in the present moment. When mind and body work together — when the mind serves the body instead of dominating it — wisdom emerges naturally.A gentle reminder that nature is intelligent, your body is connected to that intelligence, and listening is the doorway back into harmony, healing, and trust.

  12. 158

#160 Disappointment Is Your Friend: Transforming Expectations into Celebration

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, we explore disappointment and frustration — not as states to avoid, but as profound teachers that gently reveal where we are living in expectation and illusion.Disappointment often feels crushing and painful, especially when something or someone we deeply cared about didn’t turn out the way we hoped. Yet beneath that pain lives an invitation: to recognize our expectations, to see what we truly long for, and to reclaim our agency instead of waiting for the outside world to fulfill our needs. This reflection explores why we return to frustration again and again, how expectations point us toward what matters most, and why disappointment is actually a form of disillusionment — a clearing of illusion that brings us back into the present moment. From this place, we can embody the qualities we seek rather than outsourcing them.A gentle invitation to slow down, feel honestly, laugh at our illusions, and discover the freedom that emerges when we stop waiting at the expectation station and start living from the heart.

  13. 157

#159 The Hidden Gift of Codependence: Sensitivity as a Path Back to Self

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, we explore codependence beyond the usual narratives of relationships and attachment — and uncover the quiet gift that lives within it.Codependence shows up wherever we give away our agency, outsource our needs, or hope that something outside of us will finally make us feel safe, loved, whole, or enough. While this pattern can feel disempowering, it carries a profound intelligence: sensitivity. The capacity to sense deeply, to listen inwardly, and to recognize what is truly needed within ourselves. This episode is an invitation to slow down and turn toward the parts of us that learned to rely on the outside world for safety and fulfillment. We reflect on emotional responsibility, inner listening, and how meeting our own needs restores a sense of safety, trust, and freedom from the inside out. From this grounded place, we can relate, care, and contribute to the world without force or expectation.A gentle reminder that sensitivity is not weakness — it is a doorway back into self-connection, power, and compassion.

  14. 156

#158 Simplicity = Efficiency: Remembering the Gifts You Were Born With

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, we explore the often-misunderstood idea of efficiency — and how it has become entangled with productivity, pride, hierarchy, and the pressure to become someone other than who we are.Drawing wisdom from nature, this reflection invites a radical reframe: true efficiency is not about hustling harder, climbing higher, or proving our worth. It is about simplicity. About allowing ourselves to be exactly who we are, just as a tree is a tree and a flower is a flower — each playing its unique role without comparison or dominance. We explore how conditioning, fear, and ego pull us away from our inherent gifts, why breakdowns and crises are often necessary gateways to living our purpose, and how letting go of complexity allows our natural intelligence to resurface. This episode is an invitation to soften, to simplify, and to remember that the most efficient contribution you can make to the world is simply being yourself.

  15. 155

#157 Softness Is the Antidote: Releasing Resistance, Pressure, and Tension

In this episode of The Everyday Ceremony, we explore the subtle but pervasive ways resistance shows up in our lives — as harshness toward ourselves, mental pressure, and physical tension. While these patterns are often praised as “resilience” or discipline, they can quietly disconnect us from our true nature.Drawing inspiration from nature’s inherent softness and capacity for transformation, this episode invites a gentler approach to being human. We look at how learned resistance creates a sense of inadequacy, how reacting or repressing emotions fuels inner conflict, and why true freedom doesn’t come from fixing or forcing ourselves — but from slowing down, softening, and allowing what is.This is an invitation to practice patience, to feel without reacting, to rest within conflict, and to remember that gentleness is not something we earn on the other side of pressure — it’s something we cultivate right here, right now.

  16. 154

#156 Your Return to Being Part 2 (Contemplation)

This second part continues the contemplative journey — a gentle exploration into the subtle, often misunderstood relationship between being and becoming. So much of our lives are shaped by the drive to become: to improve, evolve, arrive somewhere better than where we are now. In that obsession, we often forget how to truly be. We live in anticipation of a future self, missing the aliveness of the moment that’s already unfolding. In this episode, I reflect on how being is not the opposite of becoming, but its foundation. How the return to being doesn’t stop growth, ambition, or movement — it simply softens the struggle within it. Becoming doesn’t disappear; it becomes more spacious, more intimate, more alive. This is a poetic and contemplative invitation to rest in the present while still honoring the natural movement of life. To notice how much more enjoyable the process of becoming can be when it’s no longer driven by urgency, self-correction, or resistance — but held within trust, presence, and curiosity.Nothing to fix.Nothing to force.Just a deeper permission to be — and to let becoming unfold from there.

  17. 153

#155 Your Return to Being (Contemplation)

This episode is a contemplative journey — and an invitation to pause. An invitation to notice where we become self-obsessed, where we take ourselves and life too seriously, where we complain about complaining, judge ourselves for judging, and try to be a certain way instead of simply allowing ourselves to be.It’s a bit of a mindfuck — because the mind is asked to loosen its grip. To stop fixing, managing, and narrating everything long enough for something deeper to emerge. This isn’t about becoming better, calmer, or more spiritual. It’s about noticing how often we are in quiet resistance to life as it is.In this episode, I explore how we fight with our experience — and how much energy that takes. I reflect on what it means to trust nature, to trust ourselves as part of nature, and to soften into the intelligence that’s already moving our lives forward without our constant interference. This is an invitation to return — not to an idea of who you should be, but to the simplicity of being alive. To feel where control can be released, where seriousness can dissolve, and where trust can be remembered.Nothing to fix.Nothing to achieve.Just a gentle return to being.

#154 Coming back home; back to the Past

Returning to my parents’ home just before Christmas stirred something I didn’t expect. As soon as I arrived, my nervous system began slipping into old patterns — familiar feelings, behaviors, and inner responses I thought I had long outgrown. In this episode, I share what it’s been like to be back in the house I grew up in, navigating family dynamics, reconnecting with friends, and noticing how deeply our bodies remember. I speak openly about the overwhelm, the tenderness, and the quiet moments of awareness that arose as past versions of myself surfaced, asking to be seen.I also share a poem I wrote during this challenging time — a reflection born from sitting with discomfort, longing, and the desire to meet myself with more compassion rather than resistance. This episode is an invitation to move gently through the experience of coming home. To allow space for old parts of ourselves to re-emerge without judgment. To offer those parts safety, understanding, and kindness — and to remember that love doesn’t live in the past, but can be consciously practiced and felt in the present moment. If you’re returning home this season, feeling triggered, tender, or stretched in unexpected ways, this conversation is for you. May it remind you that nothing is wrong with you — your body is remembering, and you are allowed to meet that remembering with care.I hope you are as excited, as I am, to create a true change in this world, starting within ourselves.Thank you for being part of this journey.
