Episode 24: Start Your Week Off with Intention
Starting your week with intention is a great way to stay productive and focused! Taking time to assess where you are in terms of your goals can be incredibly beneficial in helping you work toward success. In addition, setting a weekly schedule and outlining your priorities are some other things that can help set you up for success during the week. Allocating time throughout the week to check in with yourself is also smart; this will help keep you on track and will allow you to tweak or adjust what isn't working. In addition, the sauna can help to promote healthy skin by increasing collagen production and cleansing the pores. She suffered from chronic pain, allergies, Hashimoto’s, hypothyroidism, and lack of energy. These symptoms were the result of her body not eliminating the toxins to which she was regularly exposed. She tried a variety of medications, diets, therapies, and more, to help recover her health. Episode 16: 6 Tips for Reaching Your Fitness Goals When You Have an Unsupportive Partner
At first glance, the uphill battle against weight gain may seem formidable. With so many different obstacles and challenges to contend with—from a sluggish metabolism and persistent food cravings to physical limitations—it can feel as though it would be impossible to reach your fitness goals. But when you also face resistance from a loved one, especially if that loved one is your spouse, things can feel even more difficult.However, there are several effective strategies that you can use in order to surmount this challenge. For example, you can seek out support and encouragement from your friends or other members of your family. You can also focus on making gradual progress rather than trying to accomplish too much all at once, which will help build momentum and motivation over time. Additionally, you can remind yourself of the positive impact that improved health and fitness will have on both your own life and that of your spouse. Episode 10: Are the Boys All Right? An Alarming Trend Among Obesity Rates, Low Testosterone and Suicide
In today's episode, I talk about a possible link between obesity rates in men, low testosterone, and suicide. -1 in 4 men over 30 have low testosterone-The suicide rate in males increased by 30% from 2000 to 2019-Men are 3x more likely to die from suicide than women.-From 2000-2016 the suicide rate in men age 45-64 increased by 27%- Currently the obesity rate is at 40% (this was measured in 2021) 40%
