If You Must Drink Soda, Make Sure It's Diet Soda -- If You Want To Lose Weight

Fat Adaptation, Ozempic And The Question From Joseph -- EPISODE 8
To burn the fat that's already stored on your belly, hips, and butt, you're going to have to get your body to actually use that stored fat as fuel. Most of our bodies tend to use Glucose/Sugar as the primary fuel. The takeaway of this episode is that to lose fat, and the weight that the fat weighs, you're going to need your body to burn off the fat that's currently on your body. To do that, your must adapt your body to burn fat as fuel. Our Strategy is to alter our diet by limiting sugars and carbohydrates (which get converted into sugars) with the goal to limit the foods that get turned into fat. Afterall, how can you lose fat/weight at the same time you are creating more fat/weight.

Feasts Aren't Permanent. Meal Compression. - EPISODE 6
We've made it past Thanksgiving. And if there's a lesson to be learned, it is that a feast here or there is not a permanent weight gain. One tool that can be used to lose more weight more quickly than diet alone is Meal Compression. You will eat all of your meals within an 8 hour period of the day and for the remaining 16, you will not eat. The most efficient way to do this, is to push back breakfast times into lunchtime. The One Hormone You Need To Get Control Of To Lose Weight - EPISODE 3
So you've collected your baseline for 7 days as we discussed. Now you know how to weigh yourself correctly as we explained to you. This is where you start to experiment. You are going to listen to the advice I give you, and your goal is to understand why it will work. After you begin to do this. You will begin to lose ounces per day. That's what we're looking for. Every Change you make, requires three days before you see the effect. So everything you try, continue that for at least three days before you even consider abandoning changes. Sure you want to lose more, and you want to lose weight faster, but, this is the inverse of how you gained weight. You gained weight ounces per day and it took you months and years to get to the weight you are now, so today, is the point at which you start to lose weight. If you gained 60 pounds in a year, you cannot expect to lose 60 pounds in 4 months. Be realistic. You'll understand why this all works and if you're consistent, on day 98 you'll be sending me a message to tell me how much weight you've lost. I cannot wait to hear from you. Before You Start - Collecting Your Baseline, and How To Actually Weigh Yourself - EPISODE 2
In this episode, I explain why 97 Days is so important, that I named the podcast after it. The goal is to establish a baseline, and give you a consistent method to weigh yourself and collect accurate data. It does you ZERO, Let me say it again... It does you ZERO good to measure yourself throughout the day, at different times, after you’ve had different meals and drinks. But your Baseline is Imperative. To collect your baseline, you’ll need 3 things. If you have them, great! You saved some money. If not, collect them before you start your 7-day baseline collection. To start building your baseline, you’ll need: 1) Get your hands on a Measuring Tape 2) A phone application to track your weight. 3) An Accurate, digital Scale with decimal points If you don’t have these items, head to your local discount store and get them, or order them from that online store that we all order stuff from.
