If you want to feel welcomed into a new community, start training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. John shares how as he progressed through the belts he noticed he was using less effort, and became comfortable, coasting through training. His coach gave him some feedback to go and get tougher rounds, but what is most impressive is that John had the self-awareness to continue to improve his knowledge and experience in Jiu Jitsu. E088: Titus & Kerry - Core Jiu Jitsu
Titus Burton, Brown Belt and Kerry Davidson, Blue Belt join from their new Jiu Jitsu school Core Jiu Jitsu. This is Kerry's second appearance on the show, having appeared back on Episode 34 over a year ago as a White Belt. They both share their own unique journeys through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Kerry and Titus are the founders of Core Jiu Jitsu, and want to attract people that have a core belief and curiosity for starting, or coming back to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. They now have a welcoming and nurturing space based over in Higham, Kent that has been created with the utmost attention to detail. Go and check them out!
