#31 - Are They Good For You?
Have you ever really thought about the people in your circle? But, which circle? That inner circle? Two rings out? The dreams you have may be directly impacted by the people around you. If you're being called to do something, be very aware of how the people around you impact whether you start or don't start that dream.

#30 - Who's Keeping Score?
Let's jump into procrastination and who that's actually harming.

#29 - My (2nd) Favorite 4-letter Word
You're going to have to listen to this one.

#28 - Weeds On My Path
Sometimes, you need to get your hands good and dirty, and get all the way down to the roots. Today's that day.

#27 - 5 Things to Consider When Your EQ Is Out of Whack
There are times when we have all the equalizer of our life pushed all the way up. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but mostly, it's us doing too much and paying no mind to what the distortion is doing to us. Let's take a step back and thin about that today.

#26 - Shake What Your Mama Gave Ya
Where are you holding back from looking ridiculous? Feeling afraid? Having fun? When we were kids, we did anything we wanted to do, at least we thought we could; and then somewhere along the road all the doubt, fear, and lack of fun from everyone around us covered us like a wet blanket. It's time to shake that crap off.

#25 - Eeney Meeney Minie Moe
How many choices do you think we make in a day? A month? A year? The choices we make, including how we choose to react and respond, makes the difference between moving forward and stagnating.

#24 - Road Bumps & Your Ego
Buckle up, Friends, and get your pooper scooper... we're talking about the crap that lands in our path that we're convinced is sent to derail our dreams. I've got news for you... it's not there for the reason you think it's there.

#23 - I See You
"I See You." A phrase I came to loathe. Until today. Why do we do the things we do? Why do we get stuck in patterns we aren't even aware we've placed ourselves in? Why do we think so little of the immense shadow work and mirror work and better choices we make that we can't even tell ourselves how proud we are of those decisions? Let's dive into that for a few minutes... If you've found this or any of the other episodes helpful, please subscribe, share, and give a review -- it helps push this out to more people more than you know. I'm so grateful for everyone of you who listens every week. Your DMs are always a bright spot in my day.

#22 - The Hope Diamond
You are NOT going to like what I'm about to say... But you need to hear it. I needed to hear it, and it became one of my favorite healing journey moments. We live in a culture that glorifies past hurts, traumas, and papercuts, and encourages us to talk about it ad nauseum. Know what it doesn't do? It doesn't encourage us to heal it. I'm not talking about legitimate therapists here -- I'm talking about the current state of our culture, where being a victim is glorified as a badge of I don't even know what. It's hurting us further. It's not making us stronger, nor is it preparing us for all the other things that are inevitably coming down the pike in our lives. But I have a little exercise you can try that can put you in the right frame of mind, as well as an activity you can use, to drag yourself out of victim mode and into a place where you can see, feel, and heal your past hurts, and finally put them down. If you found this helpful, please give it a like, and subscribe. It helps more than you can possibly know in getting it out to more people, and YOU could be one of the folks who helps do that. And that's pretty awesome.

#21 - Accountability Permission Slip
Hi there friends! Welcome to a "Late, but still made it" episode of No Seat Belt. Today I've been pondering accountability. I've never been good with internal motivation: for me, everything has always been external. I'm working on it. I am fortunate enough to have a friend who's been in the public speaking/coaching/podcasting world for over a decade, and with that much experience, pretty much any nugget of wisdom Phil "gifts" me, I take. In creating today's episode hours later than usual, I leaned into the accountability I have with him, and realized there's actually something WAY BIGGER at play. I hope you have an a-ha moment like I did. Let me know in the comments if you did, and what action you're going to take to help YOU with your accountability permission slip.

#20 - But am I worthy?
On today's episode, we're looking at self worth: how do we place value on ourselves, how does it diminish, and how is it reflected back to us from our environment. You'll hear a few examples of the ways I "lost" my worth and how I changed the frame around those moments to gain a better understanding of why it happened, and the tools I use now to counteract the thief of self worth from creeping in and stealing it again. This is difficult work, but if you keep in mind that you are the only YOU you're going to get, you'd best treat your YOU with as much love, care, and respect as you can. And when you do, watch how your envirnoment begins to change for the better!

#19 - Your Ego is afraid ...of YOU!
Hello, Friends! We have no intro yet, and this one is a rant RIGHT out of the gate. Bear with me as I think through this episode in real time, getting to the root of why we doom scroll fitness content, philosophical quotes, podcast clips from our favorite therapists. This realization really helped me to STOP doing this -- It still happens from time to time, but it's a rarity now. Pay attention to what grabs your attention for too long, and consider if that is something you truly want to add to your life -- if it is, go f*cking do it!

#18 - Welcome to Season 2!
Welcome back, everybody! I've been so taken aback by the support from all of you coming along on this ride. This season, we're going to be changing it up a bit. I've become a voracious student of the human condition in the past 9 or 10 months, and it's given me so much clearer insight into my own struggles. I'm going quite a bit deeper on topics that are affecting us all, from relationships, to the ways our perception of ourselves and others affects our emotional health, to spirituality, to the state of education... you name it, we're diving in! Last season, I dipped your toe in the water to check the temperature and get you comfortable. This season, I'm shoving you all the way into the pool, doubling down on sharing these inquiries with all of you in the hope that it may shed light on or spark an a-ha! moment for you on your own journey. I'd say "Buckle up" but that's sort of antithetical to the whole meaning behind the podcast title. Be brave folks, we're going full tilt, full speed, no 5-point harness. LFG!

#17 - Everything Is Energy
Hello, darlings. We're back to our regular 2 pods per week schedule. Thanks for hanging in there! Today, I'm sharing some more personal anecdotes from my life, that have negatively impacted my health, and how getting rid of some items have relieved me of so much negative energy in my space, from my body, and from my soul. Do the things you keep or collect emit a positive force of energy in your life, your home, your spirit? Or do they remind you of a time you've evolved from? The items we have store the energy of the people, place, interaction of the moment it entered our sphere. You have to decide if it brings you light, peace, and joy, or if it's holding negative energy which could be keeping you stuck in your past. If you'd like to do some more reading on the intersection of energy in quantum mechanics and spirituality, this is your stepping stone: Quantum mechanics meets spirituality

#16 - You. Are. Love.
If you are made in the image of God, and God is Love, then logic dictates that YOU are also LOVE. Do you feel like love? I don't always feel it -- I've found myself feeling depleted, and burnt out, a little lonely, even at times upset with myself. Sound familiar? Know what I really need from myself in those moments? To remember that the absolute core of my being is LOVE. Love listens, it heals, it understand, it has patience for my drama and trauma, it doesn't compare me to others, and it is always present if I have the courage to allow it. This Christmas Ever, tap into the LOVE that is inside you, and do that first and foremost for yourself. The positive effects of the after glow on everyone around you will take care of itself. Merry Christmas, Everyone. Thank you so much for taking this journey with me. It's been incredible to see all of you having watched or commented on the episodes that had an impact on you. I'm listening, and will be doubling down on the content I bring to you, FOR YOU, in 2025. Cheers!

#15 - Proving my Worth
On today's pod, with ambient background from some random holiday movie, we're talking about the need some of us have to prove our worth: that we're worthy of love, of respect, of acceptance. But at the end of the day, to whom-- EXACTLY--are we proving this?

#14 - Pain and Your Superpower
Driving home recently I had one Hell of an epiphany: What my Superpower is! Think of your favorite superhero -- was their life sunshine and rose petals, or did they endure some kind of pain on the way to their superpower? This, my friends, is at the core of the hero's journey. This revelation actually surprised me, as you'll hear in today's episode. I wouldn't normally post an episode like this, as it was one of my personal voice memos to myself while working through some things, but I think this short but sweet episode may give YOU insight into how to find YOUR superpower.

#13 - Mirror, Mirror
We're going to dive a little deeper into this whole "The eyes are the windows to the soul" thing, and it's going to take a turn you may not have expected. We're talking distractions, anxiety, lack of being present... the whole thang TODAY, my darlings. Follow me on IG @no.seat.belt.podcast I would love love LOVE it if you left a review so I can get my assistant off my back about never saying it in the podcast episode.

#11 - Breadcrumbs from The Universe
What if all the actions we've taken, in circumstances we've been less than thrilled with, have happened so that the moment we're finally open and ready to changing our life, we have those breadcrumbs to look back on? Loving compassion for the choices we've made--understanding why we make them and why they continue to show up--and how to use those moments as a roadmap for taking you to a better version of yourself. The Universe, God, Source wants you to see every lesson as an opportunity to get closer to the most authentic version of you. Growth hurts. Looking at ourselves is tough. Asking questions is hard and takes huge amounts of humility and vulnerability, but it also opens your heart, it opens you up to your colleagues, and shows you that taking the mask off shows you're human.

#10 - Could Your Fav Movie Hold A Key To Your Healing?
What if the reason you're drawn to certain movies is because they may hold a key to unlocking a piece of your healing journey? Today, I walk you through the thought rabbit hole I went down recently regarding why I'm drawn to certain movies, and how I could relate the underlying themes back to unhealed pieces of my life. It was truly eye-opening! You may never look at your favorite movies the same way again! You can find me on IG @no.seat.belt.podcast Please follow and give a review! It would mean the world to me! And if anything I've share with you has resonated, and you think someone you know could benefit from it, please share it with them.

#9 - Stop Being So F*cking Happy, aka Kindness Was a Stranger to Me
Wtf are you so happy about? *side eye* Today we dive right into why we get angry or uncomfortable witnessing other people's happiness and joy, and it is NOT what you think. Buckle up, Darlings... we are going there today.

#8 - You Were The Hero All Along
The one you are looking for is the one who is looking. ~ St. Francis of Assissi Write down every single time you pulled yourself from the depths. Remember those times. Write about them IN DETAIL to remind yourself of the hero that has lived inside you this entire time. Take down the walls, drag the prince or princess out of the dungeon, and put on that cape.

#7 - Obstinance and M&Ms
In today's episode, we're taking a look at the ways we stand in opposition to our own best intentions for ourself, even when we know it's going to give us agita! How many times have you told yourself not to watch Netflix instead of going to the gym, not to have that second cocktail, not to hit the snooze button again? The list could go on indefinitely. This obstinance, when left unchecked, can literally become an addiction to being able to control what's happening in your life. But there's still more even beneath that.

#6 - A Different Lens
How do you feel about people with a different opinions than you have? Are you open to conversation for understanding, or are you steadfast in your own lens. Today, I'm sharing some perspective on perspective. It's been a game changer for me in my interpersonal relationships and has had an incredibly positive impact on my own general state of being. Let's dig in!

#5 - Small/Safe
The behavior patterns we've used to keep ourself safe, can be reworked to propel us into doing the things we truly want to do. If you want to help others, you have to help yourself first. That starts with rewiring your neural pathways with evidence-based actions so your predictive mind "sees" those activities or thoughts in a different way; only then will it begin to recognize them as a safe alternative to what its historically been doing, aka keeping you limited under the guess of "safety."

#4 - Fear, Curiosity, & Second Chances
What's the antidote to fear? Curiosity! In today's episode, I share my simple method to discover why you're holding yourself back, and how important it is to allow space for your own second chances. Grab your journal and get ready to uncover the excitement waiting within you!

#3 - Make Yourself Beautiful
How do you react when you've been hurt, either by someone else or, yourself? (ouch) I heard Jim Carrey once say that when hurt, artists go inward and create a bouquet of roses. I didn't realize I do that 90% of the time. You might read that and think "How lovely," but I can tell you it doesn't always mean sunshine and rose petals. It feels good when you can start building the bouquet, and seeing the beauty in the pain, and the lessons that spring out of it. For me, the real beauty has been in seeing the way I've been uncovering my truest self from under the heaps of fertilizer I've been piling on top of myself my whole life, waiting for the flowers to blossom. My friends, sometimes you need to use less fertilizer to make your garden grow.

#2 - Try Again
Have you ever been in it??? Of course you have. I want to share with you the real reason you're in it --likely for the 2nd or maybe the 17th time-- and it might not be the reason you think.

#1 - You Are Held
How many times have you asked yourself: Why does this keep happening? We've all been there, we've all been in patterns of behavior that repeat because we are simply not looking at what we need to learn. If there's one thing I want you to know from my first episode, it's this: You. Are. Held. IG: @no.seat.belt.podcast
