    Dr. Rachel Frontain, a Saskatchewan native, has always had a deep love for the arts. However, her life took a turn after a snowboarding injury in her 20s, leading her to discover integrated care. Witnessing the incredible results of patient-centered chiropractic care during her own recovery, she found her calling. In 2017, she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States. Dr. Rachel is passionate about helping individuals with challenging chronic conditions such as post-concussion syndrome, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, vertigo, and balance difficulties. She is board certified with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and gained valuable experience working at Northwest Functional Neurology in Portland, OR.     Diet Culture Shock | Jordan Macdonald | LEP #24

    Jordan MacDonald has spent over ten years in the fitness/wellness industry. She started her journey at MRU studying PT, where she found her love for all things "wellness." She then went on to gain her holistic nutrition certificate. Jordan's focus turned to bodybuilding in 2016 when she entered her first competition. The extremes excited her inner perfectionist, feeding her desire to be "perfect." She coached typical weight loss clients and even prepped clients for the stage, but something felt wrong. Fast forward to 2021, Jordan started asking herself, "Is this helping people? Am I making a difference and giving these people the tools to be successful after me?" The answers she got surprised her. She wasn't helping people long-term and was just adding to the diet problem. The cycle of dieting, gaining weight back, dieting again, and gaining it back created negative relationships with food and their inner selves. Jordan has switched gears and changed her views on "health," teaching people to break free from diets and listen to their inner body's needs.
