It started at age 9 with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, followed by Graves' disease (a thyroid disorder) 3 months later, and a decade of panic attacks and crippling anxiety. It started at age 9 with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, followed by Graves' disease (a thyroid disorder) 3 months later, and a decade of panic attacks and crippling anxiety.
