Unveiling Jesus Christ
by John Cassinat
This podcast is based on the research, writings, and content created by John E. Cassinat found principally in his two-volume book entitled The Book of Revelation Doctrinal Commentary: Unveiling Jesus Christ. The book focuses on the unveiling of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of John the Revelator. The podcast sets forth the views and opinions of theologians and Biblical scholars from many different religions, although the doctrinal views of the apocalypse predominantly align with those found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. John the Revelator’s symbolism and images are explained with reference to multiple Old Testament books, including Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Joel and Zechariah. Jesus Christ is the major focus of this podcast from the time of his premortal existence through the time of the celestialization of the earth. Within these broad parameters, podcast topics will include a discussion of the creation of spirit bodies in premortality; the pre

[§256] Rev 15:3-4: 144,000 Sing the Songs of Moses and the Lamb
This podcast explains the imagery and meaning of John's vision in Revelation 15, where he describes exalted and exaltation-worthy saints gathered on heavenly Mount Zion which is seen as a fiery sea of glass at the start of the Third Woe. These are the 144,000 Servants seen by John in Revelation 14. In Revelation 15:3-4: “They sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” The song of Moses is a celebration of the redeemed saints that stand on Mount Zion. It alludes to the song of victory sung by the Israelites on the shores of the Red Sea after Pharaoh and his armies were destroyed. The song of the Lamb is a similar song of victory that includes the worship of Jesus Christ as the redeemer and deliverer of his people both physically and spiritually. His acts of redemption are both great and marvelous. The lyrics of the song of the Lamb further proclaim that Christ is the King of saints (King of nations) and his judgments of destruction are just and true. By the end of the Third Woe, all wicked people living less than terrestrial law shall be destroyed and those that remain shall fear (reverence) Christ and glorify his name. All persons in all nations not destroyed at the time of the Second Coming shall come to the mountain of the Lord's house to worship. All his judgments shall be made manifest at his coming and throughout the millennium.

[§255] Rev 15:2: The Redeemed Saints Stand on a Sea of Glass
This podcast explains and interprets the imagery used by John in Revelation 15:2, which states:“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.” The context for this verse is the end of the Second Woe Harvest in Revelation 14:14-20, and the start of the Third Woe when seven angels will pour out the last seven Vial Plagues to cleanse the earth at the Second Coming. John describes a similar scene of blessedness in Revelation 14:1-2 where the 1440,000 Servants stand with the Lamb on heavenly Mount Sion (Zion). This podcast compares and contrasts both scenes set in heaven. In Revelation 15:2, the sea of glass mingled with fire represents God’s celestial kingdom where exaltation-worthy saints will stand in the flesh in the presence of the Father with Jesus Christ during the destructive calamities of the Third Woe. This podcast compares the heavenly scene with John’s vision of celestial paradise in Revelation 4 and 5, where John described the heavenly conditions as a sea of glass like unto crystal without the mention of fire. The exaltation-worthy saints are those who overcome Satan and gain the victory over the Second Beast, which John described in Revelation 13:11-18. These overcomers possess the harps of God as tokens of their victory and a symbol of their worship and gratitude as they play the Song of Moses described in Revelation 15:3-4.

[§254] Rev 15:1: Seven Angels and Seven Plagues of the Third Woe
This podcast examines and explains the writings of John the apostle in Revelation 15:1, which states: “AND I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” The great and marvelous sign in heaven is known as the Grand Sign of the Son of Man, which is given as the last sign from heaven before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ during the Third Woe of the seventh seal. In Revelation 15:1, John also identifies seven angels who have the seven last plagues of the Third Woe, called Vial Plagues. These seven last Vial Plagues are similar to, but very distinct from, the seven trumpet plagues described by John primarily in Revelation chapters 8 and 9. Although the trumpet plagues and Vial Plagues are similar in many respects, the seven last Vial Plagues come after the trumpet plagues and the two series of judgments are significantly different in their effects. This podcast provides an overview comparison between the seven trumpet plagues and the seven more deadly Vial Plagues. John also states in Revelation 15:1, that the last seven Vial Plagues are filled up with the wrath of God. They are the last plagues that will occur before Christ's Second Coming and they are filled up with the God’s wrath to represent the fullness of God's indignation that will be poured out upon the wicked prior to, and at the time of, Christ's Second Coming.

[§252] The Third Woe Begins When All Things Are in Commotion
This podcast describes and explains the “Grand Sign of the Son of Man” that will be given in heaven and seen on earth at the start of the Third Woe, as described by John in Revelation 15:1. The exact meaning of this "Grand Sign" has not been revealed, but it is the last sign that will be given in heaven before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The Grand Sign comes just before the Second Coming, it is not the Second Coming. When the Grand Sign is given, all things will be in commotion on a worldwide scale. This includes commotion that shakes the earth and all the elements as well as nations, governments, and people. The commotion will be physical, spiritual, and emotional. The commotion we see in the world today is merely a prelude to the much more significant commotion that will exist as the Second Woe comes to an end in Revelation 14 and the Third Woe begins in Revelation 15. The Grand Sign will have the appearance of the sun rising in the east that can be seen by all people in all the world. The sign will be easy to recognize, although hardhearted people and unbelievers will attribute it to natural causes and will say it is a planet or comet. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ will follow very soon after the Grand Sign is given at the start of the Third Woe.

[§142] The Saints Are Given Dominion at Adam-ondi-Ahman
This podcast explains how the kingdom of God shall be given the saints of the most High during the future gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman as described in Daniel 7:18, 22 and 27. At this gathering, the saints from all seven gospel dispensations will stand before Adam (the Ancient of Days) and Christ will be coronated King of kings and Lord of lords. The saints of the most High shall be the kings over whom Christ is King and lords over whom Christ is Lord. Those crowned as kings and queens, and priests and priestesses, are those that enter the Patriarchal Order of the Priesthood through the temple sealing ordinance of celestial marriage and are worthy of their temple covenants. They will begin to inherit and possess the earth as of the gathering at Adam-ondi-Ahman when the redemption of Zion shall also commence. The saints of the most High shall also sit upon thrones and rule with Christ during the millennium and throughout eternity in the kingdom of God that shall be both an ecclesiastical kingdom and a political kingdom of God known as the Church of the Firstborn.

[§141] Christ Takes Earthly Dominion at Adam-ondi-Ahman
This podcast explains the future coronation of Jesus Christ as King of kings during the gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman as described in Daniel 7:13-14. At this gathering, the seven heads of the gospel dispensations will stand before Adam (the Ancient of Days) to account for their earthly stewardship and they will return to Adam their priesthood keys. These keys will in turn be returned to Christ who will commence his earthly reign. As Christ begins to take dominion on earth, the kingdom of Satan will begin to fall. This will mark the spiritual fall of Modern Babylon to be followed by the physical fall of Babylon at the Second Coming. At this future gathering, the ecclesiastical kingdom of God (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) will also begin to merge with the political kingdom of God to become the Church of the Firstborn which will be the government of God throughout the millennium.

[§140] The Ancient of Days Will Judge His Righteous Posterity
This podcast explains who attends the gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman, including celestial worthy people who are mortals, resurrected people, translated people, and the spirits of just men made perfect, all of who come from the seven gospel dispensations and held priesthood keys. This podcast also explains what will occur at Adam-ondi-Ahman as the Ancient of Days (Adam) appears in resurrected glory to judge his righteous posterity symbolized by the "ten thousand ten thousands" (100 million) that will come before his fiery throne, and the thousand thousand (1 million) that will minister to him.

[§139] The Date for the Gathering at Adam-ondi-Ahman
This podcast explains the meaning of the phrase "time and times and the dividing of time" found in Daniel 7:25 to describe the timing of the great gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman. This prophetic phrase means 3 ½ years, and it means that the gathering of saints will occur 3 ½ years before the Second Coming, which corresponds to the midpoint of Armageddon and the Second Woe. This is the point tin time when the little horn of Satan's latter-day power and dominion will peak and begin to recede from the earth as Christ begins to assert his power on earth.

[§138] The Little Horn: Satan’s Dominion since 1830 AD
This podcast explains the symbolism of the one little horn that emerges from the midst of the ten horns on the head of the fourth dreadful beast in Daniel 7:8. The ten horns represent Satan's power in the modern nations of the world and the one little horn represents the re-emergence of Satan's power in the modern nations after the end of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806. The emergence of this little horn coincides in time with the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1830. The little horn of Satan's latter-day power and dominion grows in power as the gospel grows and spreads in th world as the small stone that was cut from the mountain without hands from the dream of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2. The little horn wars against the saints as recorded in Daniel 7:21, and he is personified as a man with eyes like a man and a mouth that speaks blasphemies against God. The personification of the little horn corresponds to the Second Beast described by John the Revelator in Revelation 13, which he also describes as the False Prophet in Revelation 16. The little horn, the Second Beast, and the False Prophet represent the Antichrist of the last days. The disembodied spirit of Judas Iscariot--the ultimate apostate--stands as the spiritual head of the antichristian movement in the last days.

[§143] Ecclesiastical and Political Kingdoms Merge
This podcast explains the image of the leopard with hour wings and four heads that is given dominion by God in Daniel 7:6. This symbolism represents Satan's power in the ancient kingdom of the Greek Empire, which began with the conquests of Alexander the Great. Alexander's small army moved with incredible speed to conquer the Medo-Persian empire in approximately 330 BC represented by the four wings on the body of the leopard. After Alexander died in 323 AD his empire passed to his four generals represented by the four heads of the leopard. The power of Satan in the Greek Empire grew through the Hellenization process whereby conquered nations, including the Jews, adopted the customs, religious philosophies and lax moral standards of the Greeks. At the same time Satan's power grew in the Greek empire, the way was also paved for the establishment and growth of Christianity in a Greek-speaking world after the death of Jesus Christ.

[§134] The Bear: Dominion in the Medo-Persian Empire
This podcast explains the image of the bear in Daniel 7:5 to describe Satan's power in the ancient kingdom of Medo-Persia. Cyrus the Great was king of this combined kingdom and defeated he Babylonian kingdom in 538 BC. A brief history of the Median and Persian empires is included together with a correlation of that history to the characteristics of the bear that has three ribs in its teeth, and one side raised above the other.

[§133] The Lion: Dominion in the Babylonian Empire
This podcast explains the images of the lion with eagle's wings in Daniel 7:4 to describe Satan's power in the ancient kingdom of Babylon. A brief history of the rise and fall of ancient Babylon is given with correlating details about the fall of Modern or Spiritual Babylon at the time of the Second Coming.

[§132] Satan’s Earthly Dominion Until Adam-ondi-Ahman
This podcast explains the images used by Daniel to describe Satan's power in the kingdoms of the world, including the Babylonian empire (Lion), Persian empire (bear), Greek Empire (leopard), Roman empire (hideous beast), and modern nations (ten horns). Satan's power grows in these successive kingdoms until the future gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman, which takes place 3 1/2 years before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. At this gathering, Christ will be coronated King of kings and this will begin the restriction on Satan's power. He will not be bound, however, until the Second Coming when Christ makes a full end of all nations.

[§131] Daniel’s Vision of the Future Gathering at Adam-ondi-Ahma
This podcast compares and contrasts the dream of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2, and the vision of Daniel in Daniel 7. The dream and vision both record events covering more than 2500 years from the time of ancient Babylon to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The great image in Nebuchadnezzar's dream represents the political kingdoms of the world, including the Babylonian empire (gold head), Persian empire (silver chest), Greek Empire (brass belly), Roman empire (iron legs), and modern nations (clay and iron toes). Daniel's vision describes the growing power of Satan in these same kingdoms as a lion, bear, leopard, and hideous beast with ten horns. Satan's power in the kingdoms of the world continues to grow until the future gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman.

[§130] Temple Ordinances Given at Adam-ondi-Ahman
This podcast explores the reasons why the ancient gathering of Adam's righteous posterity at Adam-ondi-Ahman probably included the first temple ordinances performed on earth for the exaltation of all Adam's righteous posterity. The ancient gathering three years before Adam's death foreshadows the future gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman in Missouri 3 ½ years before the Second Coming.

[§129] Foundations for Zion Laid at Adam-ondi-Ahman
This podcast explains the purpose for the great gathering of Adam's righteous posterity at Adam-ondi-Ahman. This gathering was both a physical gathering and a spiritual gathering that prepared Adam's righteous posterity to enter the presence of the Lord and to receive crowns of exaltation and eternal life. To this end the physical gathering occurred to establish the Patriarchal (Evangelical) Priesthood that was to be handed down by lineage beginning with Seth, who was the second presiding patriarch on the earth after Adam. In addition, the gathering established the Patriarchal Order of the Priesthood, by which worthy men and women can be sealed eternally as husband and wife and thus receive the fullness of the priesthood. In short, Adam's righteous posterity received were promised and also received their exalting ordiances of the templ at Adam-ondi-Ahman.

[§128] Overview of Adam-ondi-Ahman
This podcast explains the great gathering of Adam's righteous posterity three years before Adam died at the age of 930 years. This gathering occurred at a place called Adam-ondi-Ahman, not far from the original location of the garden of Eden. Today, this same location is the place of a large valley and rolling hills in Davies County, Missouri. In the near future, there will be a similar gathering of Adam's righteous posterity at the midpoint of Armageddon, just 3 1/2 years before Christ's Second Coming. This podcast discusses the seven similarities in the two separate gatherings at Adam-ondi-Ahman and their similar purposes.

[§127] Overview of Revelation 10
This podcast provides an explanatory overview of Revelation chapter 10, where John saw a mighty angel (Jesus Christ) who comes down from heaven prior to the time of the Second Coming with a little book that he gives to John the Revelator. This chapter is frequently misidentified as an "interlude" chapter. It is actually a vision of Christ's appearance at the great gathering of saints at the midpoint of Armageddon at a place called Adam-Ondi-Ahman. Christ gave the little book to John to symbolize John's mission to prepare the Lost Ten Tribes for their return from the land of the north, including their attendance at the meeting of righteous saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman.

[§126] Rev 9:20-21: Armageddon’s Telestial Survivors Fail to Repent
This podcast explains the symbols used by John to describe the survivors of the seven-year battle of Armageddon in Revelation 9:20-21. The survivors are those who will refuse to repent during the battle, although they could do so. This means they are not sons of perdition, who have committed the unpardonable sin in this life and have lost the power to repent. John lists several characteristics of the survivors. They are guilty of murders, sorceries, fornication, and thefts. These characteristics align perfectly with latter-day revelation that identifies such persons as telestial worthy. Thus, we learn in this podcast that telestial people as a class will survive Armageddon and the third part of men that will not survive are mortal sons of perdition.

[§125] Rev 9:19: The Horses Kill and Hurt in Their Mouths and Tails
This podcast explains the symbols used by John to describe the heads and tails of the horses of Armageddon in Revelation 9:19. The horses represent (mortal armies) with power in their mouths to kill the third part of men. They also have tails like serpents that have heads with power to kill men on a lesser scale during physical Armageddon. The mouths of the horses represent powerful nations gathered to Armageddon, while the tails represent less powerful groups such as state sponsored terrorists, organized crime, gangs and other unlawful but powerful groups that fall in the category of secret combinations.

[§124] Rev 9:18: A Third of Men Die by Fire, Smoke and Brimstone
This podcast explains the meaning of the symbols used by John to describe the weapons of war to be used in the future battle of Armageddon as described in Revelation 9:18. In this verse, John saw the horses (mortal armies) and horsemen (evil spirits) of Armaggedon as they used three holy weapons of fire, smoke, and brimstone to kill the third part of men, who, as a class, represent mortal sons of perdition that will be on earth during physical Armageddon.
-

[§123] Rev 9:17: Breastplates of Fire, Jacinth and Brimstone
This podcast explains the meaning of the symbols used by John to describe the weapons of war to be used in the future battle of Armageddon as described in Revelation 9:17. In this verse, John saw the horses (mortal armies) and horsemen (evil spirits) with breastplates of fire, jacinth, and brimstone and out of their mouths issued fire, smoke, brimstone. All these symbols show that Armageddon will be a holy war that will accomplish the purposes of God through evil instrumentalities.
-
231
[§122] Rev 9:17: The Horses and Horsemen of Armageddon
This podcast explains the meaning of the horses and horsemen that John describes in Revelation 9:16. The horsemen are evil spirits loosed on earth at the start of Armageddon during the Second Woe. They will have significant power, control, and influence over the horses that represent the mortal armies engaged in this final battle leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

[§121] Rev 9:16: The Armies of Armageddon Number 200 Million
This podcast explains the meaning of the 200 million combatants that John the apostle heard and saw engaged in the battle of Armageddon in Revelation 9:16. The number of 200 million is symbolic. It represents an immense number of combatants from two armies of armies engaged in the conflict against each other. In this Holy War, the wicked will destroy the wicked.

[§120] Rev 9:15: Four Angels Slay the Third Part of Men
This podcast explains what it means for the third part of men to be slain during the Second Woe known as Armageddon, as described by the John the Revelator in Revelation 9:15. In this context, the third part of men represents a specific class of men called mortal sons of perdition who are appointed unto death and destruction during the Second Woe.

[§119] Rev 9:15: Armageddon Begins at a Set Time and Date
This podcast explains the timing for the future start of Armageddon as described by John the Revelator in Revelation 9:15. He tells us that this world-ending battle will begin when four angels are loosed from the Euphrates River (bottomless pit) at a specific hour, day, month, and year.
-

[§118] Rev 9:13-14: Four Angels Are Loosed from the Euphrates River
This podcast explains and interprets the symbols present in Revelation 9:13-14, which describe the start of the battle of Armageddon, also known as the Second Woe of the seventh seal. The Second Woe will begin at a future day when the sixth trumpet angel sounds his trump. The symbols include four angels, who represent the unembodied and disembodied spirit sons of perdition who will be given great power on earth to influence mortal people to engage in the battle of Armageddon where one third of the symbolic number of 200,000,000 (two hundred million) men will die. The four angels (representative of evil spirits) arise from the Euphrates River, which symbolizes Spiritual Babylon, hell, the abyss and the bottomless pit from whence these evil spirits arise. The four angels in Rev 9:13-14 are distinguished from the four angels that John saw in Revelation 7:1-2.

[§117] An Overview of the Second Woe [Physical Armageddon]
This podcast provides an overview of the Second Woe of the seventh seal that will begin at a future day when the sixth trumpet angel sounds his trump. The Second Woe is a seven-year period of time when the physical battle of Armageddon will be fought. The events of the Second Woe are described by John the Revelator in Revelation 9:13 though Revelation 11:14. The battle is summarized in Revelation 9:13-21 and includes the deaths of all mortal sons of perdition collectively, who are identified as one third of the combatants involved in the war. Revelation 10 describes events at the midpoint of Armageddon when the Savior will appear as a great angel at the gathering of saints at the valley of Adam-ondi-Ahman. These events are symbolically described as part of John's "Little Book Mission." After the events of Revelation 10, John's narrative continues in Revelation 11, which described events during the second half of Armageddon, including the ministry of the two witnesses in Jerusalem during the last 3 ½ years before the Second Coming, which are called the "Great Tribulation." The Two Witnesses will be killed and their dead bodies will lie unburied in Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days, during which time the Third Temple in Jerusalem will be destroyed during the "abomination of desolation" predicted by Christ on the eve of his crucifixion. The Second Woe will end when the two witnesses are resurrected in Rev 11:14.

[§116] Rev 9:12: The First Woe Ends When the Wicked Are Ripened in Sin
This podcast explains the transitional verse of scripture between the First Woe and the Second Woe found in Revelation 9:12. The transitional verse delineates a clear distinction and separation between the First and Second Woes, even though there will be a natural progression between the spiritual darkness of the First Woe and the deadly physical death and carnage of Armageddon during the Second Woe. The transition from the First Woe to the Second Woe will occur as wicked people all over the world are fully ripe in iniquity and the Lord will be fully justified in destroying them for their wickedness beginning with Armageddon during the Second Woe.

[§115] Rev 9:11: Satan Is King of the Locusts in the Bottomless Pit
This podcast explains the meaning and identity of the king of the Bottomless pit in Revelation 9:11, whom John identifies as Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek. John's description of this "king" as the "angel of the bottomless pit" could refer to either, or both, the unembodied spirit of Satan or the disembodied spirit of Cain, who succeeded to the power of Satan when he became perdition in mortality and then entered the postmortal spirit world with the title of Master Mahan.

[§114] Rev 9:7-10: Seven Symbolic Characteristics of the Locusts
This podcast explains the meaning of the symbols of the locusts seen by John in Revelation 9 as he describes the First Woe. In this podcast, the seven characteristics of the locusts are examined from Revelation 9:7-10. These various characteristics help to explain the spiritual darkness of the First Woe and the conditions of torment that rapidly occur during the five-month period of this woe.
-
222
[§113] Rev 9:5-6: Locusts Torment People for Five Months
This podcast explains the meaning of the symbols and images used by John in Revelation 9:5-6 to explain what happens during the future First Woe when the bottomless pit opens and symbolic locusts emerge with power on earth like scorpions that have power to torment mankind for a period of five months. The locusts represent evil spirits that will be loosed from the bottomless pit at a time of great spiritual darkness. The torments of the First Woe will prepare the world for the sixth trumpet plague called the Second Woe and Armageddon.
-
221
[§112] Rev 9:2-4: The Bottomless Pit Is Opened and Locusts Emerge
This podcast explains the meaning of the symbols and images used by John in Revelation 9:2-4 to explain what happens during the First Woe when the bottomless pit is opened and black smoke billows forth together with locusts that have the sting of a scorpion. The locusts represent the evil spirits that will be loosed from the bottomless pit at a time of great spiritual darkness symbolized by the black smoke. Unlike real locusts, these metaphorical locusts have the ability to torment mankind during the First Woe in the same way a scorpion sting causes great pain and anguish, but not death. The people singled out for this torment during the First Woe are those that do not have the seal of the living God in their forehead.
-
220
[§111] Rev 9:1: The Key of the Bottomless Pit
This podcast explains the meaning of the key used by the fifth trumpet angel in Revelation 9:1 to open the bottomless pit at the start of the First Woe to release evil spirits on the earth. The identity of the fifth angel is discussed, with Michael the archangel as the most likely identity for this angel. Chist is the ultimate keyholder over the bottomless pit and evil spirits are unleashed on earth only because Jesus Christ allows it to be so to fulfill his purposes.
-
219
[§110] The Disembodied Sons of Perdition in the Bottomless Pit
This podcast explains the role of disembodied spirit sons of perdition on the earth as distinct from the unembodied spirit sons of perdition that rebelled with Lucifer in the premortal existence and were cast down with him when the earth was physically created. Disembodied spirit sons of perdition are those that were born into this life with a mortal body and then committed the unpardonable sin while living on the earth. Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, was the first mortal son of perdition. Cain became such when he conspired with Satan to murder his brother Abel. As part of this evil conspiracy, Satan promised Cain that he would give him his power. Cain then became Master Mahan. He was head of Satan's kingdom of evil on earth and he retained this superior position when he died, and his disembodied spirit entered the postmortal spirit prison. As a disembodied spirit, Cain has led other disembodied sons of perdition on earth since at least the time that Christ was resurrected. Cain and his disembodied followers tempt and try mankind, just as the unembodied spirit sons of perdition that are led by the spirit of Satan. Cain is the symbolic Beast spoken of in Revelation 13:1-2, to whom the dragon gave his power. At the time of the First Woe that still lies on our future, Cain and his disembodied spirit sons of perdition will be given great power on earth as the bottomless pit (hell) is opened in Revelation 9:1. They will continue to have great power until the Beast (Cain) and his evil followers are cast alive into the lake of fire in Revelation 19:20.

[§109] Rev 9:1: Satan Falls with Unembodied Sons of Perdition
This podcast explains and interprets the meaning of John the Revelator's statements and images from Revelation 9:1 in the Book of Revelation. The start of the First Woe begins in this verse when the fifth trumpet angel of the seventh seal sounds his trumpet to open the bottomless pit. Much of this podcast is devoted to a discussion of the fallen star in this verse that is Lucifer or Satan, as he was known after his fall in the premortal existence. This podcast also discussed the unembodied spirit sons of perdition that rebelled and followed Lucifer since the grand council in heaven until they were cast out with him on the earth at the time of the physical creation. Earth will become for them a hell and bottomless pit. When the bottomless pit is opened in our future, as recorded in Revelation 9:1, Satan and his unembodied spirit sons of perdition will be given much greater power on earth and with their influence unleashed the earth will be shrouded in spiritual darkness.

[§108] Rev 8:13: An Angel Warns About Three Remaining Plagues [Woes]
This podcast explains and interprets the meaning of John the Revelator's statements and images from Revelation 8:13 in the Book of Revelation. This is a transition verse between the first four trumpet plagues of the seventh seal and the three woes that follow, starting with the First Woe in Revelation 9. The inhabitants of the earth, who have been encouraged to repent by the first four trumpet plagues, are now warned to beware of the three woes that are to follow because they have not taken the opportunity to sufficiently repent.

[§107] Rev 8:12: The Fourth Angel’s Plague Brings Total Darkness
This podcast explains and interprets the meaning of John the Revelator's statements and images from Revelation 8:12 in the Book of Revelation. This verse describes the fourth trumpet plague that will be unleashed by God after Christ opens the seventh seal. In this verse, darkness afflicts the sun moon and stars for a third part of a day and night. Thie ninth Egyptian plague that caused three days of darkness in the days of Moses is a type and foreshadow for this fourth trumpet plague that still lies in our future.

[§105] Rev 8:8-9: The Second Angel’s Plague upon the Sea
This podcast explains and interprets the meaning of John the Revelator's statements and images from Revelation 8:8-9 in the Book of Revelation. These verses describe the second trumpet plague that will be unleashed by God after the Opening of the seventh seal. These verses describe a great and fiery mountain that is cast down from the sky and strikes the ocean. This refers to a worldwide judgment from God in the form of a large meteorite that will have devastating consequences on shipping industries, fishing industries, and economies of the world generally. The slat water seas will turn to blood as a sign or symbol of death as a third of merchant vessels are destroyed and a third of all sea creatures die. The ultimate purpose of this plague is to encourage people to repent and prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

[§104] Rev 8:7: The First Angel’s Plague upon the Land
This podcast explains and interprets the meaning of John the Revelator's statements and images from Revelation 8:7 in the Book of Revelation. This verse describes the first trumpet plague that will be unleashed by God after the Opening of the seventh seal. This plague is of fire, burning, and hail mingled with blood, will be directed primarily at the earth, trees, and grass. This refers to a worldwide judgment from God upon the land, the effects of which will be limited to one-third of the trees and all grass. This judgment will have devastating consequences on agricultural industries and economies of the world generally. However, the purpose of this plague is to encourage people to repent and prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

[§103] The First Group of Four Plagues in the Seventh Seal
This podcast is an explanatory overview of the first four trumpet plagues to be poured out on the earth after the opening of the seventh seal in the Book of Revelation, chapter 8. The distinction is shown between these first four plagues from the last three trumpet plagues referred to as the Three Woes. The first four plagues are eschatological judgments that come from God. They are directed primarily at nature, including the earth, trees and grass, as well as the sea, sea-creatures and waters of the earth. These plagues are foreshadowed by the plagues of ancient Egypt. The first four plagues only affect both wicked and righteous people, but only indirectly. These first four plagues have as their primary purpose to inspire the wicked to repent in the face of God's judgments. These plagues all use the fractional number of "one-third" to indicate the limited scope of their effects on the land, sea, and freshwater systems.

[§102] Images of Blood During the Seven Plagues
This podcast provides an overview of the blood (both literal and symbolic) associated with the plagues of the seventh seal in the Book of Revelation beginning with chapter 8. There are symbolic images of blood, such as a red moon that appears to be as blood, but also literal scenes of blood that describe the destruction of the wicked at the Second Coming. The scenes of bloodshed are often dualistic in their meaning. On the one hand, they represent the judgments of a just God, but also the blood of Christ's atoning sacrifice gives life to those that repent thus depicting the mercy of his offering. This podcast provides an overview of the blood-filled scenes of the seventh seal to serve as a foundation for understanding the specific images of blood described by John the Revelator.

[§101] Fire and Burning Will Accompany the Seven Plagues
This podcast explains generally the fire and burning that will accompany the plagues of the seventh seal as described in the Book of Revelation, including the intense physical and spiritual heat that will accompany the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The heat will be literal and will cause mountains to flow down like hot wax and valleys to be filled in so that the earth will be relatively flat as it is transfigured from a telestial sphere to a terrestrial sphere. This podcast also discusses how the heat of Christ's glory will cause the continents to rapidly merge into a single landmass, much like the condition of the earth prior to the time of the flood in the days of Noah. Dr. Walt Brown provides a scientific explanation for the division of continents after the flood, and this podcast expands on his explanation to discuss how the heat of the Second Coming will reunite the divided continents. The symbolism of fire and burning is also explained together with a discussion of how the righteous will be able to endure the fire and burning of the seventh seal leading to the millennium.

[§100] Seven Judgments [Plagues] Lead to the Second Coming
This podcast is an overview of the Seven Trumpet plagues described by John in Revelation 8 through 19. These trumpet plagues are poured out as the Judgments of God on the earth after the Opening of the Seventh Seal. They are sequential plagues that occur rapidly within months and a few years of each other. The last three trumpet plagues include the Three Woes that bring great tribulation and suffering among the people of the earth, including the seven-year battle of Armageddon. The Third Woe, which corresponds to the seventh trumpet angel, will occur very rapidly and coincides in time with the Second Coming when the Great Whore of false religion is defeated and Modern Babylon falls in a single day.

[§99] Rev 8:5-6: Christ Begins to Pour Out Judgments upon the Earth
This podcast describes and interprets the meaning of John's vision of the angel in Revelation 8:5-6, who takes a golden censer and casts down fire on earth in the midst of voices, thundering, lightning, and an earthquake. The imagery comes from the book of Ezekiel and is foreshadowed by the plague in Egypt when Moses cast ashes in the air and they caused boils then they fell to earth. The imagery reflects the judgments of God that will be poured out on the earth after the opening of the seventh seal that lies in our future.Revelation 8:5: 00:01:19Revelation 8:6: 00:37:38

[§98] Rev 8:3-4: A Day of Atonement in the Heavenly Temple
This podcast interprets and explains the imagery used by John to describe events in heaven in Revelation 8:3-4. These verses correspond to the half-hour of silence that begins in Revelation 8:1. In this half-hour of symbolically measured time, Jesus Christ will perform his intercessory role as the mediator by offering incense on the golden altar of the heavenly temple. The incense will produce an aromatic smoke that will ascend to God as the prayers of righteous saints. This vision presents the anti-type in heaven of the earthy day of atonement that was celebrated in the tabernacle of Moses and in the temples of Solomon and Herod for hundreds of years.

[§97] Rev 8:2: Seven Angels in Heaven Are Given Seven Trumpets
This podcast explains this symbolism found in Revelation 8:2 that talks about seven angels that were given seven trumpets during the half hour of silence in heaven at the opening of the seventh seal. There is a high likelihood that the seven angels are the seven archangels who stand in the presence of God and receive their trumpets from him to herald in the seven plagues that will follow the half hour of silence.

[§96] Rev 8:1: Silence in Heaven About the Space of Half an Hour
This podcast interprets and explains the meaning of the half hour of silence in heaven mentioned in Revelation 8:1. This brief period of silence will occur when Christ opens the seventh seal in our near future. The half hour of silence is a somber and sacred time that comes after the worldwide calamities at the end of the sixth seal and before the judgments of God are poured out during the seven trumpet plagues of the seventh seal.

[§95] Overview of the Seventh Seal [1000-Year Millennium]
This podcast provides an overview of the Seventh Seal from the Book of Revelation that John begins to describe in Revelation 8:1. When the sixth seal (that we now live in) ends with a great earthquake and other worldwide cataclycisms, Christ will open the seventh seal and there will be a silence in heaven for a symbolic half hour. This podcast quotes from the talk of President Russell M. Nelson during his October 2024 General Conference address to illustrate that the time for opening the seventh seal is fast approaching. After the half hour of silence n heaven, judgments will be poured out upon the earth in the form of seven trumpet plagues followed by seven vile plagues. This podcast gives and overview of the relationship of these various plagues that lead to the Second Coming.
