    Achieving your goals what’s next

Why can I not fully appreciate it? Why am I already thinking about the next thing?Once achieved the goal I was aiming for  becomes new normal. What once felt exciting becomes my new baseline. And then I stop appreciating it as much as I should. I start looking ahead instead of being present. I tell myself I need another goal straight away. Something bigger. Something more.So this episode is a reflection on that pattern. On stopping for a moment. On learning how to appreciate what we have achieved. On being grateful not only for the big milestones but for the small steps that got us there.It is also about understanding that goals can change, and that is okay. We do not need to depreciate ourselves just because something feels easier now. Growth naturally makes old goals feel normal. That does not mean they were small. It means we expanded.Big goals are built from small consistent steps. She made people laugh, think, and feel lighter just by being who she was in front of an audience.But behind the curtain, in her private life, she was deeply introverted. She struggled with panic attacks and anxiety and experiences that most people never saw. There’s such a contrast between who we are on the outside and what we live through on the inside and how people see it.It made me think about how we create our own realities how the way we think, whether positive or negative, starts to shape the world we experience. We often compare ourselves to public figures or stars, believing their lives must be extraordinary, free of fear. But the truth is, we don’t know what they are going through. The person you admire might be struggling, too-quietly, invisibly.I also talk about a short film that beautifully ties into this theme: The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, directed by Wes Anderson, based on Roald Dahl’s story. It came out in 2023 and was produced by Wim Wenders. The film explores the power of the mind and meditation in a surreal way. It’s a comical yet profound portrayal of our untapped inner abilities. It’s a confirmation for me of what we’re truly capable of when we go within and begin to understand ourselves.This episode is about how things aren’t always what they seem.
