Feeling guilty when you know you have SO MUCH to be grateful for is just another trick of The Conscious Mind 🧠🤓😈 trying to keep you stuck (which it’s confused as “safe” 🤪😮💨) in your current reality. You can’t journal “three things I’m grateful for” in the morning whilst feeling resentment of, “I know I SHOULD feel grateful, but I don’t and I want More!!! Perfect has CEASED to exist from my body. I still work REALLY hard to get awesome results, only… I’ve stopped trying to force “perfection” upon anything. And I feel FREE!! And I think the biggest part of not having anxiety ISN’T not having a brain that wants to be anxious and overthink everything… it’s NOTICING how desperate this part of me wants to stress and worry and get it perfect and have anxiety and o CHOOSE not to. I have this inner power that I’ve trained to be SO LIT that when I feel these old patterns attempts to come back to the forefront of me, I STOP them! It’s often messy and imperfect but my GOODNESS, it’s freeing. That’s what freedom feels like for me. The struggle was real this morning - later night than usual (having THE BEST TIME 😆, but still 🥱😮💨), eating different kinda foods, a glass of sparkles🥂 , a later start to my morning, ALL meaning that I wasn’t feeling on my A Game this morning… Which made my commitment to “a daily Podcast for the next year” a little trickier than I’d like 🤪😮💨 Usually, when I think about my podcast, I’m EXCITED!! 😆 I wanna dive in. It’s the first thing I think about in the morning - after dreaming in Find Formula™️ Monkey Mints💚🙊, or Trigger-Free Tangerines 🍊 or ANY of the senses 🍉 💜💙❤️🍋 (those Piggyback Sensory Hacks are LIFE for me 😆🤩) But this morning, I didn’t wanna… So instead of letting my brain 🧠🤓😈 lead the charge and decide on an extreme of either: ✅ You’re doing it; you made the commitment; AND THAT’S THAT (so suck-it-up and off you go!!) OR ❌ Forget it. I’m out. I’m falling off the wagon and it’s ok! I instead chose to sit in the middle. And that answer came through. 😮💨 We get to get curious when things don’t feel as simple as we’d like… It doesn’t need to be a matter of diving off at one end or the other - the lost powerful thing we can do is take space in the middle of it all. Today I’m actually Thankful for the resistance in my body - it reminded me that the power to choose our destiny doesn’t come through force The inner power come through taking-up space to choose to do things differently. And as much as we'd LOVE for it to be filled with sunshines, rainbows and our next life-changing idea, sometimes it can get a little loud in there. ESPECIALLY as the brain's default setting is survival - it activly and intentionally spends most of it's time seeking-out danger in an attempt to keep us safe. Living in this danger-seeking-out mode 24/7 puts a dampner on our mood (to say the least). Add to this the fact that we have a gajillion jobs to organise throughout the course of one day And laughing can feel like the last thing on the list that we wanna do! Only...living a life without laughter is pretty pants! Being so busy getting all (the good) stuff done without space to truly enjoy it can leave us wondering "Does fun actually get to be part of this!?" So I made it my missing - to wear my watermelon pinks and seek-out where I'm myself missing-out on enjoying living, to simply get "stuff" done and make it to the end of my list. Where Francis is telling me, "just do, don't have fun!" And instead, I've learned to laugh at her! To stop taking her so seriously - like her and her "lets white knuckle it through life" ISN'T as deserable as she has had me believe. And WHEN I see her, up to her tricks, I've learned to LAUGH. I've remembered how to. And I use each and every I notice her nonsense as an oppostunity to lol!

EPISODE 18 | Clients & mentors are MEANT to trigger us!
I think trigger warnings are hilarious! I mean, I get it - some harrowing things require you to form the brace position before they're exposed to us but the idea of trigger warnings lull us into a false sense of security... Like life is going to put TW before it unloads a sh!t-tonne of waste onto our heads from a great height! LOL! The world just DOESN'T work like this! This world is here TO trigger us! And once we embrace this, life feels so much easier! It feels easier - NOT because it stop being so tricky or triggerings - but because we STOP EXPECTING IT TO BE! Mentorship is THE PERFECT place to play with this. Because putting ourselves into mentorship means we're actively seeking-out our triggers. We're putting ourself into close proximity to people who're working in different paradigms to us - it's going to be triggering on SO many levels! I see some people go into Coaching Containers and relationships and it's a sh!t-show - they feel like they need TW infront of every conversation. But when we learn to USE our Triggers (thank you Trigger-Free Tuesday - I hope you have your tangerines on today, listening to this) we are FREE! Free to learn WHY we're being triggered - THE Entry Level Access Point to our next level of More. So the next time your Mentor triggers you, TELL HER. She'll already sense what's happening but KNOWS it cannot be alchamised until YOU bring it to the table! And the next time you have a client, who triggers you (because you're human so of COURSE this is going to happen), lean-in to your support networks and alchamise it - you, your work and your clients results will ROCKET because of your willingness to do this! Life doesn't come with a TW - so instead of trying to avoid the triggers, LEARN what they're here to teach you so that you can alchamise them into fuel for your next paradigm shift!

EPISODE 17 | Why we worry🙉
Any reoccurring feeling is simply a repeated chemical being released into the body - when we start to think about our body more basically, it makes being anxiety free WAY easier 😅 So let’s look… 🧠 We have a thought 🧪 Which tells a gland to release a chemical (As a counter to whatever the thought is telling it) 📛 We then put a stamp on what what this neurological thought and chemical response mean ⬆️ This cycle gets imprinted into the body and mind REALLY easily, the more often it happens. So if “worrying” is something you’ve done for a while now, it simple means your brain is in the habit of: 🧠 thinking worrying thoughts 🧪 releasing fight/flight/freeze chemicals 📛 and labelling this sequence as “worry” (or whatever other stamp you place on your emotions). When we reduce this process down to the really raw, basic elements of our functioning… worrying becomes something we recognise that we can actually, activity stop. 😅😆🥹 Seeing this pattern play-out, from a removed space, is a MASSIVE movement in Being Anxiety Free 💚💖

Happy Saturday Sitting ❤️🧘♀️ I blooming LOVE meditation - just not in the ways we’re traditionally taught it! 🤪 I have a brain that is pretty unkind to me for a big chunk of the time 😮💨 So the idea of sitting silently with my thoughts for hours on end does NOT entice me to meditate.🤢 So I found a Piggyback Hack System™️ where I submerged myself in a sensory experience to love meditation - as I did it went from being “something I should do”, to something I actually WANNA do! The power builds 🧬⚡️ From micro moments, as often as possible. EPISODE 14 | The doubleness😇😈of feeling our feelings
In my world world, feelings are a weird one. For most of us, we had our feelings rejected so many times by our adults (because they made them feel uncomfortable) that we learned, “Feeling emotions is bad”. Now, feeling emotions is ESSENTIAL for ALL HumanBeans: When we break-down what emotions actually are; they’re just chemical markers 🧪; that are secreted from glands inside the body; and they feel a certain type-a way. THAT’S IT!! So we’ve gotta learn that feeling our feelings is just allowing the chemicals to flow up and out of our bodies in the ways they’re made to. And that this is a NEUTRAL (not “good” or “bad”, it just IS). But THEN we must navigate the doubleness of feelings our feelings without allowing them to engulf us. Those who master this art, master their life! Happy Feel-it Friday 💙

EPISODE 13 | Feeling bad 😮💨 when you KNOW you “should” feel grateful! 🤪🫠
I define the term “shoulding” as: “Feeling obliged to do something even though it’s not something you actually WANNA do!” “Shoulding”, when it comes to Thankful Thursday 💜, is knowing that you have LOTS of lovely things to feel grateful for, maybe it’s: gorgeous kids The 4 bed house The career you worked for Fancy designer things The SUV Your dreamy spouse Only… they just aren’t what you’d hoped they be. They often cause you more agro than you’d like. And, even though you love them and you’re glad they’re yours… the feeling is, “I know I should feel grateful but I don’t”. And as more comes in. That hole, between receiving and feeling grateful widens with a big wedge of guilt, or maybe it’s shame, or maybe embarrassment to boot too. 😮💨 This feeling is what is ruining all the lovely things in our world. When I feel this way… looking at ALL the lovely stuff in front of me (and feeling familiar pangs of guilt, for not feeling a certain kinda way about them), I call in Grace. Grace is as old as time and as wise as ALL the mystics out together. In these moments, Grace says, “My sweetheart, you’ve got this. Right now, you’re replacing the lovely feeling of gratitude with a more familiar feeling of shame and guilt that others inflicted upon you. And now, you’re addicted to feeling this way. 😮💨 So be gentle with you, Watch where these addictions rise. And decide… “I am free”. EPISODE 12 | The beast in your brain 🧠 😈 ISN'T you!
When I was tuned into Anxiety FM 24/7, I believed everything I thought. Something in my world would trigger me Which led to a (mostly unhelpful!) thought (AKA Bob) Which let to a (pretty horrid!) feeling inside my body (AKA Toad) Which led to me making absolute and harsh judgements about myself and the world (AKA Francis) Today is Wake-Up Wednesday - today's focus is ALL about that third and final element of The Trio of Terror (that's what I call the make-up of The 3 Part Conscious Brain cycle I describe above). This third part exists because our brain is ALWAYS trying to make sense of this world. As humans we ALL just want an easy life, which feels lovely. Only...that's not what this human experience is. This experience is a lot; a lot of the time. So the brain is ALWAYS trying to convert this "lot" into much less (in the hope that it feels much easier for us). To do this, the brain wants to put ABSOLUTE Stamps on things; So it feels like it's in charge So it feels like it understands So it feels like it's making our life easier. It does this with thoughts of: "This is right" "This is wrong" "I am right" "They are wrong" "I am wrong" "They are right" When we work in these absolutes, we know that it's Francis (the fiend inside our brain) attempting to make us feel safer on this spinning sphere floating in the middle of The Universe; WHICH MAKES NO ACTUAL SENSE! The "Ideal" Self you (that's led by The Trio of Terror) deals in absolutes. And it's Francis who has to KNOW absolutely. NOT Actual You! So the next time you're driving yourself demented, trying to absolutely KNOW what to do where to move how to do it Happy Wake-Up Wednesday 💖

EPISODE 11 | Being Anxiety Free isn’t for normal people
Being anxiety free isn't available to normal people. Because being anxiety free, after years of having anxiety, is going AGAINST what feels "normal" for you! And most of us don't wanna go againt what feels normal to us. Because, no matter how painful it is, The Human Brain LOVES familar/normal/routine. It's why people with diabeties continue to overeat people with toxic partners continue to attract the same people people with OCD mentally torment themselves in the most inexplicable ways Above and beyond EVERYTHING, the brain will choose what it already knows. Because what it knows has gotten us to where we're at right now - and right now we're alive - this is literally the ONLY thing that The Conscious Brain cares about! So normal people allow their mind to dominate their existance, simply because it's been that way for so long. Normal people will continue to feel anxiety for forever. BUT, there is a small amount of people who are DONE being normal; and fitting in. They've realised that having a life on repeat isn't as good as The Conscious Brain has it made-up to be. They want More! And they're willing and brave enough to take action. My best skill, when it comes to navigatring my own human brain is: Don't be normal - it's a trap - be ME!! There’s More Than This 💖🤩

EPISODE 10 | When it feels like we haven't got time for overcoming anxiety
For so many brilliant, busy entrepreneurs, coaches and creatives we can see that time is of the essence. We're more in touch with the reality of this existance; with the fact that every breath needs to count; that our work is a MASSIVE deal and that in order to allow it to reach the heights of everything it's MADE to, it requires our time and dedication. We use our precious time to: make moves learn the lessons make bigger moves connect to people further along than us open-up opportunitities that right now, we don't even know exist! And we achieve. The most glorious results at incomprehensible levels. We CAN and we DO do it all; we hold it all together; we can get to next-level heights ALL whilst brining-along anxiety for the ride. I'm WITH each and every one of you who's saying, "I ain't got time to sit in a corner crying about all of my trauma, Emma!" I tried this way. It was MISERABLE! And it made me feel worse - like I was "trying" to do the "right thing" but it wasn't working. That's when I started to explore alternatives. I started to learn about stoicism. I began to learn about quantum physics. I studied the biology of the human body. And THIS all blew my mind!! There IS a way to irradicate Anxiety from our bodies ('cause that's where it lives!). To disrupt all that repeated neurology ('cause that's how it repeats). And be FREE! And it lives inside brining The Work into The Unconscious - OUTSIDE of Conscious thought! I use The Piggyback Sensory Hack System to do this: it requires going about our EVERYDAY life - just using the senses to heighten awareness instead of thinking we've gotta sit down and "do" to transform That power within comes from unlocking the unconscious - and this can ONLY be done from outside of the conscious mind/thought! There is More. Always

EPISODE 9 | The journey to here IS the journey to there...
The journey to where I am right now, which is actually pretty remarkable when you break it down, WILL be the journey to "there" (wherever "there" actually is!?!?) I don't mean the steps will be exactly the same, I just mean: I have grown my business in the last 2 years in ways that blow most normal peoples minds 🤯😮💨 It’s because I’d spent 30 years living-out my life where I was afraid to make mistakes, to look silly, and I lived in fear of what others would say NOW, I refuse to waste ONE MOMENT! I’m ALL in the moment I get an idea of, “this is what’s next…” I make mistakes - and learn from them I look silly - and aim to get more clarity as I go I tell fear to take a running JUMP 👋😚 - their conclusions are a reflection of them, and almost always nothing to do with me 🤪😮💨 So I run with ideas, I don’t walk. The evolution of this podcast is THE perfect example of this … I have no idea what I’m doing, it’s nothing close to what I actually want it to be BUT I’m throwing myself into it I’m learning along the way I’m adding my new lessons I’m learning what doesn’t work And in a years time, I’ll look back and I’ll be glad I fumbled about at the beginning to create this. Because there’s ALWAYS More Than This - and day 1 is where we ALL have to start… And I’m super willing to ⚡️🤸♀️💖

EPISODE 8 | Meditation ain't sitting in a corner for hours
When you've got a Conscious Brain that spends 99.9% of it's life screaming at you (I could hear mine literally SCREAMING at me some days!), sitting "silently" was the most horrible idea I could concieve. Being left alone, with only the chaos inside my brain for company?! "NO THANK YOU!" Although that didn't stop me from trying... I hated the way that I was living my life and I felt POWERLESS to do anything about it (despite doing all of the things that "should" have been imporving my life - therapy...meditating for hours...!) That's when I realised that there was a REALLY different way to do meditation. A way which 10x results but didn't take time away from my life - I was a new mum to baby twins, my husband worked away and I was a primary school teacher (I had a LOT going on!!). My meditation was this - to do things for longer than my brain wanted me to. And by this I mean... When I was rushing to get the bottles steralised, so I could get my school work done, so I could get to bed at a decent time before Groundhog day started all over again, I TOOK MY TIME! I washed those bottles like my life depended on it - I traced the outline of the bottles with my fingers and watched the soap bubbles pop on them I did my school work with clamness and precision I stopped being so obsessed on what time I was getting into bed, and started feeling grateful to have arrived In my life, I started to walk slower than I would (I literally RAN through the hallways at school before) I sat for a minute longer when my brain said to "get up!" I realised how much of my life my brain was making me rush through - taking my time became a meditation in itself - SO much better than sitting for hours at a time. SO. Much. Better!!

EPISODE 7 | Multiple breakdowns means you’re doing it RIGHT! 💅🤌
We get given the wrong impression (by well-meaning, but TOTALLY unhelpful adults!!) that we aren't meant to feel strong emotions!🤪😮💨 Strong emotions just ARE part of this Human Expereince - there's no denying them or trying to run away from them. Only, we DO try... We try to hide🙈 We try to run away from them🙊 In the hope that we'll feel less uncomfortable for it.🙏 What this ACTUALLY does is: Push those feelings/ emotions/chemicals (which asbolutely occur in ALL of us), deeper into us, THEN we reject them. 😥 This rejection forces them to stay inside our body - they bury themselves ever deeper within. Trapped, they add unnecessary additional weight and burdon us further.🫠 We feel bad that we're so heavy. 😮💨 And that we feel everything so intensely. 🤪😮💨 So , as each new/difficult emotion arises, we bury them ever-deeper. 🕳️ So they get even more stuck. And we feel even heaver. This continue to happen until, in a moment, we decide we WANT MORE! 🤩🌈🐳🦄 And a big part of us accessing our More (Accessing who we're here to be⚡️🧬 And what we're here to do 🤸♀️) Comes down to how willing we are to have emotional breakdowns and make them mean NOTHING about us (expect that we're human and having a human experience) ⚡️🤸♀️😆🤩 There is More than this.
