Let's have an honest conversation today. Not a comfortable one. An honest one. Because there is a nurse listening to this right now who has said out loud or in her head some version of this sentence: "I would love to start a business but I just cannot afford it right now." And I want to address that with love, with boldness, and with biblical clarity and zero apology. That sentence is not a financial statement. It is a faith statement. And it is costing you more than any investment ever would. You are not stuck because of your circumstances. You are stuck because you have decided that the risk of staying exactly where you are is safer than the risk of building something new. And that decision has a price tag too. It just gets paid in time, in purpose, and in the slow erosion of a calling that was never meant to stay contained. Most nurses never question their calling to heal. They feel it. They have always felt it. There is a sound rising in the healthcare field right now. God is not whispering. He is moving. And He is moving specifically through nurses...in ICUs, in labor and delivery rooms, in oncology units, in emergency departments — in the places where human beings are the most undone, the most afraid, and the most open. There are nurses right now who are carrying something sacred. Not just skill. Not just knowledge. Not just compassion. Presence. There comes a point where you realize… The bedside was training. But it was never meant to be the limit. Have you ever walked into a patient’s room and felt something… off? Not clinically. Spiritually. In this episode, we’re going deeper than we ever have before. This is not surface-level nursing. This is not just vitals, labs, and interventions. We’re talking about the reality that many nurses experience—but few feel safe enough to say out loud. Spiritual warfare at the bedside. Discernment in patient care. The unseen realm intersecting with the natural. In this episode, I’m sharing a personal experience from the neuro unit where the Lord allowed me to see in the spirit—and what that revealed about the assignment of the enemy against the body, the mind, and identity. We are also grounding this in truth: Not every condition is demonic possession But there is a real kingdom of darkness And there are real spiritual influences that impact the body Luke 13:11–12 (ESV) says: “And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, ‘Woman, you are freed from your disability.’” Jesus didn’t separate physical and spiritual. He addressed both. There are seasons when the Lord will give you an instruction and tell you to keep it between you and Him. Not because He is withholding, but because He is protecting what He has planted. When you share too soon, you open the door to unnecessary warfare, distraction, and delay, especially when you are building according to God’s plan. Many Christian business women struggle with knowing when to speak and when to remain silent, particularly when starting a business or stewarding an assignment God has entrusted to them. Boldness does not always mean visibility. Sometimes it looks like obedience, restraint, and trusting God with the process before the unveiling.
