55: The Science of Tapping with Fiona Schipke

In this episode we explore the science of Tapping with Fiona Schipke. Tapping, a method that many adults and children alike have found helpful in managing their emotions, has become more popular recently and we thought it was time to find out more.    Fiona has a Diploma in Counselling and is a Certified Practitioner of the Emotional Freedom Technique - usually referred to as EFT or Tapping.   Fiona has worked in various fields over the course of her life including the legal field and in music, teaching and performing on piano, which she still does on a part-time basis.  However since her late teens, a common thread in her life has been a deep interest in people, why they feel and act the way they do, and a fascination with all types of mental health.   Fiona devoured books that went deep into eating disorders, relationships, anxiety, personality disorders - anything that looked like it would shed some light on the "Why" of people's behaviours and provide some answers.     In 2007, Fiona was given an EFT Manual and realised this was a huge piece of the healing puzzle she had been searching for.   She completed the training to become a Practitioner and continues to work, study and deepen her skills in this field today.    Contact Fiona: http://www.fionaschipke.com   Show note links: https://eftuniverse.com/community-resources/bookshelf/ http://www.eftuniverse.com/images/pdf_files/EFTMiniManual.pdf Science Of Tapping (2022) - https://www.petastapleton.com/science-of-tapping-2022 Tapping Q & A with Gene Monterastelli – Get the most out of tapping and EFT https://tappingqanda.com/

22: 75 Hard and Honouring Yourself with Sharon Iseppi

This week, for our very last episode for 2021 we are excited to interview Sharon Iseppi. Sharon recently completed the 75 Hard Challenge which is a notoriously difficult challenge requiring an incredible amount of discipline, whilst juggling working full time, running her own online business, studying and her family and we wanted to know how she did it!  Sharon is a mum of 3, married to Tony for 24 years, and is passionate about helping others learn how to love themselves a little harder and loves seeing their metamorphosis into their best possible version of themselves. Health and wellness came into her life in her late 40's after struggling with health, self-worth, self-image and consistent yo yo dieting for 28+ years, and is now her passion. As she would say, 'it is never too late and you're never too old to start, even if it's just baby steps'. She believes it's equally important to realise your worth, be kind to yourself more and be proud of your accomplishments little or big - they all should be celebrated as they are part of the journey to your greatness.
