Hearing The News Of Dolly Set Off A Chain Of Emotions

Did an overwhelming wave of sadness hit you last week out of nowhere? 🌊✨In the latest episode of Tracy Talks, we’re diving into why so many of us felt deeply shaken recently. From the Pisces lunar eclipse to the loss of a true icon like Dolly Parton—a woman who defined pure love, joy, and giving back—it felt like a collective dam broke. But it got me thinking: Why do these public moments hit us so hard?Often, our bodies recognize a safe, socially acceptable opening to release all the grief, pain, and stress we’ve been stuffing down. We live in a world that expects us to power through, avoid the “ugly cry,” and stay positive—a trap that leaves us carrying unspoken heavy burdens in our physical bodies. In this episode, we explore: ✨ Why we suppress “unacceptable” emotions like sadness and grief ✨ The myth of “spiritual bypassing” and pushing past pain ✨ How to give yourself permission to feel and release stored emotions ✨ Honoring a legacy of goodness by passing the torch in our own communities🎧 Listen now! Tell Me About It, Stud: When Middle School Danny Zuko Walks Into Present Day.

In today's episode of Tracy Talks, I’m diving into what happens when decluttering turns into accidental time travel. While clearing out the final storage room in my house, I stumbled across a letter I wrote to myself at the end of 8th grade—packed to the brim with middle school drama and constant updates on our local 80s “Danny Zuko” archetype.Fast forward two weeks: I’m grabbing lunch in my small hometown, and guess who walks through the door?We talk middle school nostalgia, the surreal experience of running into people from your past when you least expect it, and how age has a funny way of leveling the playing field. In this episode:* The emotional weight of sorting through decades of photos and memories* Reading 8th-grade drama through the lens of adulthood* Running into your middle school “Danny Zuko” in real life* How we project and downplay past versions of ourselves🎧 Listen now on: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Substack, and YouTube!Don’t forget to rate, review, and subscribe if you enjoy the show.Have you ever had a full-circle moment like this? Back From My Week Hiatus

What happens when a passion project starts feeling like a obligation? In this episode of Tracy Talks, I took a unexpected week off from recording—no out-of-office notification, no explanations, just a complete pause to reconnect with my “why.”I’m opening up about:* The Pressure Trap: How setting my own schedule turned “doing something for me” into an exhausting expectation to perform.* Boundary Pushes: How external reactions (and a few surprising text messages) brought up hidden frustration and highlighted personal boundary red flags.* Creativity vs. Production: Why we aren’t built to be constant content machines, and how toxic workplace conditioning tricks us into ignoring our natural creative ebbs and flows. If you’ve ever felt burned out by your own goals, ignored warning signs to keep the peace, or felt the weight of trying to feed the “algorithm machine,” this episode is for you.🎧 Listen to the full episode on iTunes, Spotify, Substack, and YouTube.Join the conversation: Have you ever needed to step back from a routine just to find yourself again? Chronic Complainers - Have Been Given Notice.

On the latest episode of Tracy Talks, I’m putting the chronic complainers ON NOTICE.We all know the difference:1️⃣ The Venters: A new, frustrating situation pops up, they express it, deal with it, and move on.2️⃣ The Energy Vampires: The chronic complainers who vent about the exact same thing for 10 years, refuse to take responsibility, and treat you like a human trash can.Energetically, it’s invasive. They dump their chaos on you, feel better, and leave you holding their heavy mess. No more.As adults (looking at you, fellow Gen Xers! 👀), it’s time to take control of our own emotions and stop working out our issues on unconsenting people. If you’re tired of letting people drain your battery, this episode is your sign to set the boundary, own it, and protect your peace.✨ Upgraded Tracy doesn't have time for the energy drain.🎧 Listen to the full episode on iTunes, Spotify, Substack, and YouTube! Decision Fatigue + Leo Eclipse = Good Time To Let Go!

Ever tried to record a quick thought and your brain just goes completely blank? 🧠❌ That was me trying to record this week’s episode of Tracy Talks. After a few failed starts, I realized something: if the energy isn't behind what I'm saying, it's not meant to be said right now.Today we’re experiencing a solar eclipse in Leo (at 20°), sitting right next to the South Node. If you’ve been feeling an overwhelming sense of decision fatigue, intense exhaustion, or a total lack of interest in "making big plans"—you are not alone. 🥱✨Here is what this shift is inviting us to do:🛑 Stop forcing the plan: Forget the pressure to manifest, map out goals, or conquer the world today.🚪 Let go of what's finished: The South Node is all about release. What cycle, habit, or rigid idea has come to its natural end?🛋️ Sit in the space: We can't carry every person, thing, or past identity into the next chapter.💫 Work with the cosmic weather: When we stop resisting and align with the current energy, things become so much lighter.Whether you have planets near 20° Leo or not, this eclipse touches all of our core identities. Sometimes the most powerful move is simply setting an intention to let go of what’s keeping us small. 🌾🕯️🎙️ Stream the new episode now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Substack, and YouTube! What’s one thing you’re ready to stop forcing and just let go of? Just Do The Thing!

Two years ago, I almost didn't press record. I wasn't ready. My skills weren't perfect. I didn't have it all figured out. But my mentor gave me the best advice I’ve ever received: "We are never going to be ready for our life. Just start right where you're at."Looking back on 2 years of Tracy Talks, my podcast hasn't looked exactly the way I envisioned—and that's okay. We love to trap ourselves in this binary that something is either a massive success or a total failure. But if you grew, if you found your voice, and if you stopped letting fear keep you small? That is only a success.Don't spend your life playing it safe just to avoid failing. The world needs you to show up as your authentic self.✨ Takeaway for today: Do the thing. Press the button. Take up space. Tracy Responds To The Skeptics: About Reiki, Meditation And Energy Work.

"Can you just prove to me that it works?" 🛑As a Reiki practitioner, this is easily one of my biggest pet peeves. Not because I mind genuine curiosity, but because real healing requires an open mind—and it’s not my job to convince you of your truth. On this week’s episode of Tracy Talks, I’m getting candid about:✨ Why skepticism closes the door to energetic benefits before a session even starts✨ Dealing with judgment, backlash, and non-believers (even those closest to us)✨ Navigating the internal conflicts between energy work and traditional beliefs✨ Why my role isn't to convert you, but to empower you to turn inward and find what works for youEnergy work isn't about overriding your free will—it's about opening up to possibilities. 🌿🎧 Listen to the full episode now! Walk and Talk With Tracy: I Was Expecting Too Much From My Spiritual Tools.

You cannot meditate away a toxic relationship. You cannot Reiki away a job that drains your soul. For a long time, I thought if I just did enough energy work, I could balance out the stress in my life. But the truth? The tools weren't the problem. I was trying to manage the symptoms of my stress instead of addressing the root cause.Reiki, meditation, movement, and energy work are powerful practices—but they aren't meant to be a cover-up for choices that no longer serve you. Real healing requires the hard stuff: making different decisions, setting boundaries, and listening to what your body is actually telling you.You already know what needs to change. You have your own answers.Tune into the latest episode of Tracy Talks where we break down why true well-being is a lifestyle commitment, not a one-session fix. "I was fully non-compliant today." 🤫✨Sounds dramatic, right? Like I took on some epic battle. But really? Clarity In The Chaos? Why That Isn't Easy.

In this episode of Tracy Talks, we’re diving into a truth a lot of us don't want to hear: If you’re overstressed, exhausted, and under-resourced, your intuition isn't trying to send you a grand life plan. It’s just trying to get you to SAFETY. 🛑"Your intuition isn’t trying to move you into the perfect job or relationship—it’s trying to move you to a place where you feel safe." — TracyWhen I was navigating a turning point in my life, I wanted to jump straight from chaos to clarity. What Boxes Aren't Getting Checked?

Hey everyone, Tracy here! In this week's episode of Tracy Talks, I’m diving into a lesson I wish I’d learned a long time ago: the absolute necessity of surrounding yourself with people who share your curiosity. As a Gemini moon, I’m naturally curious and can talk to anyone. But for years, I fell into the "chameleon trap." I assumed that if I invested in other people’s interests, they’d reciprocate.Instead, I spent years in partnerships where I gave until I was spiritually starved and exhausted, receiving nothing but blank stares in return.🌿 The Labyrinth Wake-Up CallRecently, a friend shared a drone video of a gorgeous meditative labyrinth he built in his yard—not for anyone else, but purely out of his own creative spark. It brought me to tears, and it raised my bar instantly.I don't want someone who just stares at a screen. I need people in my life who want to step into the grass, watch the sunsets, and build their own "labyrinths"—creating things that fulfill them while adding beauty to the world. If you've ever felt like you're starving your own soul to keep the peace in quiet spaces, this episode is for you. Now I Can Speak Directly To The Fear

Have you ever had a sudden, quiet realization that completely shifts how you view your entire life?In this intimate episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy shares a major breakthrough she had while simply making dinner in silence. After a friend pointed out her struggle with self-promotion, a 30-year-old puzzle piece finally clicked into place.Tracy dives deep into why so many of us subconsciously shrink ourselves to make others comfortable, how childhood perceptions shape how we show up as adults, and how to finally speak directly to your fear so you can reclaim your voice. What We're Talking About in This Episode:The Power of Silent Moments: Why keeping your mind constantly occupied with podcasts or background noise might be blocking your biggest internal breakthroughs. The "Stuck Up" Misconception: How quiet, observant energy is often mislabeled as arrogance—and the protective habits we build because of it.Breaking the "Shrinking" Habit: Unpacking the 30-year defense mechanism of taking the focus off yourself, and learning how to proudly say, "Here I am. Take it or leave it."Talking to Your Fear: How identifying the exact root of your unease allows you to finally quiet the "monkey mind" and move forward.Key Takeaway"We all have a voice, and we all deserve an opportunity to show up in the world, use our voice, and express ourselves exactly as we were designed to. The Mid-Year Check-In We All Need Right Now

Are you ready to step out of the deep, emotional waters of reflection and actually make some shifts? In the latest episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy opens up about her mid-year review and the major realizations that are changing how she moves forward. It’s time to stop the struggle and start protecting your energy.Tracy is laying down three new rules for life from this point forward:1️⃣ No More Talking About the Past 🚫Living in the same community you grew up in can be great, but rehashing middle school drama, track meets, or who the teacher’s favorite was over a beer? We’re over it. It’s time to connect with people who meet us exactly where we are right now, not who we were decades ago.2️⃣ Zero Tolerance for Constant Complaining 🤫We usually know exactly what we need to do—we just avoid taking action because it’s hard. If you hate your job, it’s time to pivot. If a relationship is draining you, make a change. Let’s stop letting the “energy vampires” pull us down and choose gratitude or action instead.3️⃣ Carbs Bring Joy (And That’s Okay!) 🥐Longevity is a great goal, but so is enjoying the moments. Tracy shares a beautiful story about a perfect morning by the lake with an exquisite griddled maple-cinnamon biscuit—and how a simple pleasure reconnected her to her core self. Spinach is great, but it doesn’t light up the soul the way a local bakery can!The Big Takeaway: “If you are truly aligned with the right people and the right choices, life flows easily. Intuition Amnesia: Stop Acting Like You Don't Know What You Need.

🎙️ NEW EPISODE: Stop Asking for Advice and Start Listening to Your Gut ✨How many times have you known exactly what you needed to do, but instead, you went looking for external opinions, validation, or advice? In this episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy dives deep into the power of our internal guidance systems—and how so many of us were taught from an early age to ignore, mask, or doubt our own intuition. What We’re Unpacking:* The “Intuition Amnesia”: How early childhood environments and controlling relationships condition us to override our body’s natural cues.* The Truth About “I Don’t Know”: Why we usually do know what we want—we’re just afraid of the hard work or the unknown that comes with choosing it.* The Body-Intuition Connection: How ignoring your basic needs (like sleep, proper food, water, and genuine human touch) actively short-circuits your ability to trust your gut.* The Real Basics: Why authentic, nurturing connection is just as vital to our survival as food and water.“If you are with someone who constantly makes you justify what you want and what you need, that is not your person.”Stop trying to explain away your boundaries. Stop letting others dim your navigation system just to keep them comfortable. Why Are We Waiting Until We're Empty to Practice Self-Care?

How many of us wait until our internal checking accounts are completely over drafted before we finally grant ourselves permission to practice self-care? In this episode, I dive deep into why we must break the exhausting cycle of over-giving and stop treating self-care as an emergency response to depletion. By stepping out of my normal routine and reflecting on how misalignment in relationships, environments, and jobs sucks the life out of us, I realized that our energy requires a completely different kind of investment strategy in our 50s. We have a limited number of summers left, and it is time to stop pouring our precious time into people, places, and situations that offer absolutely no return. Supported by the current astrological transits, this is your cosmic green light to move into a more authentic version of yourself and finally prioritize what truly feeds your soul before you hit empty.Episode Highlights:* The Overdraft Cycle: Why treating self-care as a post-depletion rescue mission keeps us starting from a deficit, and how to get ahead of the cycle.* Investing in Your 50s: Shifting our mindset from the slow-growth investments of our 20s to fiercely protecting our limited time and energy.* Astrological Support for Authenticity: How the current planetary energy is giving us the wind in our sails to let go of what drains us and speak our true needs.Where are you currently over-giving, and how can you shift self-care to the top of your list today? My New Best Friend And The Broken Washer And Dryer

🧺 “I’m Not Your Mom, and I’m Not Your Maintenance Man.”Yeah, I’m talking about this again. Because honestly, the universe keeps dropping the evidence right in front of me.I went away for a few days to relax, pack light, and get some space. Instead, a hotel laundry room reminded me exactly why I got divorced. There is a very specific percentage of the population—let’s just call it what it is: men—who simply refuse to address issues, fix things, or act competent. Here is the breakdown of my vacation laundry saga:* Man #1 & Man #2: Both made casual comments to me like, “Yeah, that machine doesn’t work,” or “That dryer never shuts off (a literal fire hazard).”* Man #3: Presumably the one who jammed the quarter tray in the first place and just walked away. The bar was so low. None of these men actually had to fix the machines themselves. All they had to do was walk their behinds to the front desk and report it. But instead? They chose to ignore the problem and wait for someone else—historically, a woman—to deal with it.🚫 The “Helpful” Competence CapI know this type of person inside and out. The moment a minor inconvenience happens, they suddenly lose all capacity to know what to do. It’s weaponized incompetence at its finest, and I spent a whole marriage dealing with it.Yes, I went to the front desk, talked to my new best friend and got the issues resolved, because I was on vacation and needed clean clothes! But let me be crystal clear: I will handle it for myself, but I am never doing it again in a romantic relationship.I am looking for a partner, not a son. If you see a problem, step up and handle it. It really is that simple.🎧 The latest episode of Tracy Talks is live. Jupiter in Leo: Unapologetically Step Into The Spotlight.

Are you ready to stop shrinking and step into the spotlight? 🦁✨On the latest episode of Tracy Talks, we are diving deep into a major cosmic shift happening on June 30th: Jupiter—the planet of expansion and optimism—is officially moving into Leo.If you’ve felt like you’ve been in a quiet, internal phase of self-reflection lately, there is a reason for that. We are shifting gears from a cozy, protective cycle into a vibrant new chapter:The Past Year (Jupiter in Cancer): A time for coming back to center, grounding, and internal nurturing. The Year Ahead (Jupiter in Leo): An expressive, outgoing, assertive call to take up space and be unapologetic about who you are and what you stand for.In this episode, Tracy gets vulnerable about her own childhood conditioning—from being told to stop dancing down the grocery store aisles to silencing the internal voice that says women should remain quiet and demure."How can we find the courage to express ourselves, to be in the spotlight, and hold the space without trying to shrink ourselves back down?"🕵️‍♀️ A Quick Reflection Challenge for You:The last time Jupiter was in Leo was from July 2014 to August 2015. What's Your Superpower?

🦸‍♀️ What’s Your Superpower? | New Episode of Tracy Talks 🎧We’ve all heard the phrase “it takes a village,” but have you ever stopped to look at the unique, built-in “superpowers” within you?In the latest episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy reflects on a recent conversation with her sisters about a tough transition: helping our aging parents adapt to changing mobility. While dealing with the resistance and embarrassment that can come with decluttering and rearranging a lifetime of memories, a realization hit me.🧩 We Don’t All Need the Same StrengthsOrganizing and logistics happen to be a superpower for me and one of my sisters. We can walk into a chaotic space, see exactly what needs to change to make life safer, and get to work. But that isn’t everyone’s superpower—and it shouldn’t have to be.“The things that I can’t do, somebody else can do. And that fills in the gaps so I can do my superpower.”✨ The Power of Filling the GapsTrue magic happens when we stop expecting the people around us to have the exact same skill set we do. When we come together and recognize that each person has innate, distinct value:* No judgment, no shaming.* We celebrate what each person brings to the table.* We fill in the gaps for one another when the path gets unpaved and messy.Whether you are navigating family transitions, building a business, or just trying to support a friend who is wandering through a tough season—remember that you don’t have to do it all. You just need to show up with your unique strength and let others lean into theirs. Get full access to Tracy Talks at tracytalks.substack.com/subscribe

    The Power of Your Surroundings

Are you feeling a little heavy, tired, or stuck in a routine lately? 🪵✨In this week’s episode of Tracy Talks, I’m talking about how the smallest, simplest changes in our environment can completely shift the energy of our day.It started with a tiny adjustment on my covered porch—just moving a bench from under the coat hooks to beneath the window. And a lot of that starts right at home, by turning our surroundings into a haven. Here is your challenge for the week:* Shift the small stuff: Swap your picture frames around or print out a few recent photos to replace the ones that have been there for years.* Run a little experiment: Don’t say a word to anyone in your house. See who notices the change! (Hint: The “little people” in your life are usually the first ones to spot it!)Our environments impact our peace. The Need For Radical Authenticity. Unpacking Dishonesty For Me.

Honesty, Omissions, and the Cost of PretendingIn this deeply personal episode of Tracy Talks, I’m diving into the complex layers of honesty and why "lying by omission" can be just as damaging as a direct falsehood. I reflect on a pivotal childhood discovery that reshaped my understanding of my family dynamic and left me questioning the patterns of trust in my adult relationships. We explore why people often choose the "path of least resistance" by maintaining false narratives to protect their social networks or avoid discomfort. Ultimately, I’m unpacking how being lied to as a vulnerable child changes your core being and fuels a lifelong need for radical authenticity. Join me as I navigate why I’m choosing to step away from the "pretending" and lean into the truth, no matter how messy it gets.Episode HighlightsThe Weight of Omission: Tracy discusses how "withholding" information is a form of deception that creates a different, yet equally painful, ripple effect compared to intentional lying. The "Perfect Image" Trap: An exploration of why individuals and couples often stay in dysfunctional or dishonest situations to maintain access to social networks, family structures, and the "ideal" image.Impact on the Vulnerable: A raw look at how growing up in an environment of misrepresented facts can lead to long-term attachment issues and a visceral physical reaction to dishonesty in adulthood.Listen now on iTunes, Spotify, Substack, and YouTube! 🎙️✨#personalgrowth #lifelessons Get full access to Tracy Talks at tracytalks.substack.com/subscribe

The message in unmistakable. Mars 🟥 Pluto!

Today’s energy is loud — the kind that puts your frustrations right in front of you and asks, “Okay… what’s really going on underneath this?”In this new episode of Tracy Talks, I’m diving into why frustration, anger, and discomfort aren’t signs that something is “wrong” with you… they’re information. They’re invitations. They’re messages from five layers deeper than the moment you’re reacting to.With Mars squaring Pluto, the sky is stirring things up. Unexpected emotions. I Once Again Have A Junk Drawer

I’m getting vulnerable about the universal struggle of the junk drawer. But it’s not just about the junk drawer, is it? The Price For Peace Can Be Conflict

Let’s get real for a second: I am officially in the "Protect My Peace" decade of my life. But here is the biggest misconception people have about peace: they think it means a life completely free of conflict. They think it means smiling, nodding, and just letting things roll off your back.Spoiler alert: That’s not peace. That’s just stuffing your truth into a closet. 🤫💼"Choosing peace isn't always the easy path. For me, peace isn't the avoidance of conflict; it’s a state of mind where I don’t experience internal struggle. And sometimes, maintaining that internal peace requires external conflict."🚫 The Myth of the "People Pleaser"If you’ve spent 30 or 40 years playing the non-confrontational card, you know exactly what happens. You try to keep the peace, so you don't say anything when someone starts encroaching on your boundaries (like that person who slowly takes over your half of the closet!).But that energy doesn't just go poof and disappear. It stays inside of you, looping on repeat, turning into anger, irritation, and internal anguish. And when it finally does blow up? It usually isn't in a nice, sweet sentence. 💥🛠️ How to Stop Leaking Your EnergyTrue peace requires us to be vigilant. It means standing up, pushing back, and saying, "No. Get your things out of my half of the closet."In this episode, we talk about:• Why silencing your emotions makes you stew in your own anger.• How to release decades of stuffed-down, stagnant energy.• Astrology Tool: How looking at your birth chart—specifically your Mars sign and house—can give you the exact blueprint for how your energy needs to be expressed (whether you're an Earth, Air, Fire, or Water sign!). 🪐✨I am learning where I am leaking my energy and exactly what areas I need to improve on. When we hear the word “hoarder,” we usually think of stacks of newspapers or rooms full of boxes. The Most Controversial Question in Your Relationship: "What’s For Dinner?"

We talk about the big stuff, religion, politics, money, but what actually drains the life out of our daily relationships? It’s the "emotional debris" wrapped around the kitchen table. In this episode of Tracy Talks, I’m diving deep into the surprisingly high-stakes world of food dynamics. From the exhaustion of "gendered norms" to the mental load of meal planning, I’m breaking down why the question "What do you want for dinner?" is never actually just about the food.Inside This Episode:• The 60-Year Warning: What I’m learning from watching my parents’ 60-year marriage and how food has become a primary source of friction in their quality of life.• The "Sports Stat" Paradox: If a man can remember the quarterback’s completion percentage from a game three years ago, why can’t he read the facial cues of the woman sitting across from him at the dinner table?• The Power of Three Words: Why "I made reservations" is the emotional equivalent of winning the lottery for most women.• The End of the "Kitchen Duty" Era: I love to cook, but I don’t owe you dinner. I’m tackling the expectation that women should be the default planners, shoppers, chefs, and cleaning crews.Food should be nourishment, not a battleground. Banning Couples Was A Bold Statement

In this episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy continues her conversation about how women show up in relationships. Last episode, she opened with a bold statement about needing to “ban married couples” and highlighted three ways women lose themselves in their partnerships.Tracy goes deeper into why it has become increasingly difficult to stay connected with people who stop prioritizing their own needs, hopes, and dreams.Highlights* Tracy has worked hard to reach a place where she is her top priority — and it’s still a conscious, daily choice.* She wants to empower others to do the same, because she knows firsthand what it feels like to put your own needs on hold.* Tracy invites listeners to share the moment they finally said “enough” and chose to make themselves the most important priority in their lives. Three Signs Your Partnership is a Performance

The “Delusion” of Misery 💔I’m making a bold statement in this episode: I might just have to ban married people from my life. It sounds extreme, but I’ve reached a plateau where I can no longer ignore the judgment single people face from couples who are secretly miserable. We’re often viewed as the ones with a “problem” to be solved, yet I see so many partners who can’t even be honest with each other about their basic feelings. Life is far too short to sign up for a lifetime of passive-aggression and silent treatments just to avoid a financial hit or a difficult conversation. True love is vulnerability and joy, not a shared bank account held together by a lack of honesty.Episode Highlights* The Judgment Gaze: Why society views single people as “broken” while overlooking the toxic dynamics hidden within many marriages.* The Three Pillars of Dysfunction: A breakdown of the three things I see consistently: a lack of honesty, a total absence of joy, and the inability to have difficult conversations.* Dependency vs. Love: Challenging the “delusion” that staying in a miserable situation is better than the alternative of being alone and at peace. Why do we prioritize "staying together" over actually being happy? The Aha Moment. My Process Is Not The Problem.

Why I’m Moving the Furniture (Again) 🛋️✨Have you ever had a habit that others labeled as a “problem,” only to realize later it was actually your superpower? In this episode, I’m sharing a personal breakthrough that started with a late-night living room rearrangement and ended with a massive realization about my creative process. For years, I was told that my need to change my physical environment was a sign of unhappiness or instability, but I’ve finally learned that it’s actually how I create expansiveness and flow. Moving the furniture isn’t about being dissatisfied; it’s about aligning my outer space with the internal shifts I’m experiencing. I’ve realized that I’m not a problem to be fixed, I am a beautiful, ever-changing process.Episode Highlights* The Power of Validation: How a casual comment from a friend turned a lifelong “insecurity” into an embraced part of my creative identity.* Energy and Expansiveness: Why changing your room can actually help you let go of old parts of yourself and make space for the new.* Process vs. Problem: A deep dive into how being with the “wrong people” can make you feel broken for things that are simply part of your nature.* Environment and Astrology: Exploring the connection between our physical surroundings and our internal energetic needs (and why some people just won’t get it).* The Work in Progress: Embracing the idea that we are meant to evolve, shift, and move, just like the furniture in our homes.Do you have a "quirk" or a process that others don't quite understand? I’d love to hear how you create flow in your own life in the comments! Get full access to Tracy Talks at tracytalks.substack.com/subscribe

My Current Cycle of Life : The Sacred Art of Coming Back to Center

Embracing Your Current Cycle 🌿Have you ever felt like life is moving at a million miles per hour, and you’re just trying to keep your head above water? In this episode, we dive into the power of recognizing exactly what “cycle of life” you are in and why you don’t need to speed up just to keep up with the world. I’m moving away from trying to be a “different” version of myself and focusing on being the most authentic version of me instead. We explore the necessity of grounding yourself—whether that’s through the soil in your garden or a quiet morning at home—and why protecting your recovery time is non-negotiable. Remember, nothing that is truly meant for you will ever miss you, so give yourself permission to slow down and find your center.Episode Highlights* The Power of Cycles: Understanding that you don’t have to live in “growth and build” mode forever; there is beauty in the cycle of authenticity and peace.* The 2-for-1 Recovery Rule: Realizing that as life speeds up, you might need twice as much downtime to recharge your battery after being out in the world.* Coming “Home” to Yourself: Defining “home” not just as a physical space, but as an internal feeling of safety, comfort, and being nurtured.* Action as Grounding: How simple, physical tasks like cleaning or gardening can quiet a spinning mind and settle anxious energy.* Joy as Purpose: Challenging the idea of a complex “life purpose” and considering that we might just be here to follow the path of joy and happiness. Only Pack For The Priority

In this episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy talks about the energy in the sky. We all have this long list of goals we carry everywhere with us and we focus on trying to make them all happen at once. The energy in the sky is sending a different message right now. You only have enough energy to focus on 1 item, maybe 2. * The Power of Two: Why you need to narrow your 10 goals down to the 2 that actually matter.* The Peace Test: Using your internal calm as a compass for your relationships.* Packing Light: Why this season of life only allows for a carry-on bag—no emotional baggage allowed. On a lighter side, the audio quality in the podcast episode isn’t good. I am forced to look at what needs to change in how I do things and multiple areas of life. There is no energy right now isn't supporting the "old ways." It’s supporting maturity, reality, and pruning in all aspects of life. Beyond the Aries spark, know your whole chart!

In this episode of Tracy Talks, Tracy talks about the new moon in Aries happening today. Astrologers will say this is a powerful new moon to initiate something in your life. Tracy stresses the importance of knowing your own chart. This is a new moon to set fire to an intention, but it’s just as important know what area of your life you may be trying to set on fire. The birth chart includes valuable information about the core self. Tracy shares how she has spent periods of her life trying to change into a more acceptable version, one that did not offend the people around her. It’s only through knowing her chart and understanding astrology does she now know these qualities that offend people are part of her core design. Instead of changing who she is, she needs to surround herself with different people.1. Astrology as a Tool for “Permission”Tracy emphasizes that understanding one’s birth chart is less about predicting the future and more about validating innate traits. She shares how she spent years trying to be “demure” or “quiet” to satisfy family and bosses, only to realize her assertiveness was literally written in her stars. By identifying her Mars-ruled fourth house and Leo energy, she shifted from viewing her personality as “difficult” to seeing it as a core design that simply requires the right environment to thrive.2. The Impact of Gender ExpectationsA poignant highlight is Tracy’s reflection on how gender influenced the feedback she received growing up. She notes that her assertive, curious, and outdoor-loving nature—qualities that were labeled “scary” or problematic in a girl—would likely have been encouraged or expected had she been born male. She uses this to encourage listeners to strip away societal “shoulds” and embrace their “square peg” identities rather than forcing themselves into round holes.3. The “Field Burning” Metaphor for the New MoonWhile many astrologers focus only on the positive “spark” of an Aries New Moon, Tracy offers a more nuanced Midwest-inspired metaphor. She compares setting intentions to burning off dead growth in a field to allow for new green grass. However, she warns that “burning a field in the wind” can cause the fire to spread out of control. She advises listeners to know their charts so they understand exactly what they are setting on fire and can “mitigate” unintended consequences.Happy New Moon!
