Breakthrough Meditation | Become who you truly want to be
Step 1. Deep breath work while sucking in extra air at the top for 3-6ish breaths Step 2. Induction: start at your feet and then breath in to become aware of where they are in space and how they feel. Move up slowly along your body as if water is slowly rising and deflating your balloons as you breath out and get into a deep relaxed state (This just helps to access your subconscious mind and allows for a more in depth body scan) Step 3. Slowly turn off all of your senses, smell, hearing, taste, touch, and vision This is where you step into your minds eye and access the pineal gland Step 4. Targeting a negative emotion, finding where you feel it inside of your body and accepting that it is real and it is there You will then envision what that looks like and get into the details of how this negative emotion is effecting you. Step 5. Realize that you can not get rid of that physical and mental feeling alone... You can verbally say a mini prayer that is asking for God to take this away from you and that you trust him as you picture in your minds eye the savior standing there taking your burden away. Step 6. Let the light of Christ fill your body in the specific area where you felt the negative emotion and intentially replace it with a positive fruit of the spirit like peace love or joy.then the light will eventually fill your entire body as then become the light and it radiates through you from your feet to the top of your head. Step 7. Envision the person you want to become 5 years from now. How do they behave? How do they feel? What is their daily routine? What are they thinking?Become that person because that is who you are!! Step 8 Then slowly come back to conscientiousness and physically walk into that person you saw 5 years from now because that is who you are becoming.

Patience required, having your life’s mission taken away from you
In todays episode I share a talk that I gave to my Christian congregation about my passion being taken away from me and the lessons I learned overcoming this trial. I do not share all of the details but I hope that you can get some value and live a better life through this message. Joke: don’t pray for patience.. President Eyring said that everyone is going through a trial. Be patient through the good and the bad. Intro: I am going to share 4 stories that contain the 3 secrets to patience and trust in Gods plan/timing 1: my mission story 2: Joseph Smith D&C 121:7-10 3: cathedral If we were to ask the pioneer saints as they built the temple 4: Jesus patience story 1 Timothy 1:16 “15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.” There are SO many stories of Jesus Christ himself demonstrating patience. His whole life, the woman caught in adultery, people always rushing him and crowding him, 40 DAY FAST! But I think that his greatest show of patience is with us, his little brothers and sisters. The three secrets 1: trust God and His timing 2: perspective is everything 3: reliance on Jesus Christ being thrown in jail vs going to college The patience we need is in our daily lives and in what we may label as “boring” doing the boring (the little things) by small and simple things great things are brought to pass. By doing the small and meanial things we can grow in patience, faith, hope, and charity. Alma 7:23 “23 And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive. 24 And see that ye have faith, hope, and charity, and then ye will always abound in good works.” Promise. Not from me but from God and the prophets.
