For My Over-thinkers - 5 Tools to Squash the Spiralling Thoughts

Over-thinking? Been there. Still go there sometimes. That's why I built these tools. This episode came straight out of a one-on-one coaching session and what came up felt too good not to share. I'm walking you through five techniques for breaking the overthinking spiral, including some for right in the thick of it and some to build into your life before it even hits.I also get a little vulnerable in this one. Skin rash, no makeup, going out into the world anyway and seeing what happened when I actually ran the experiment. Spoiler: no one cared as much as I thought they did. They never do.If you've got an overthinker in your life, send this their way. And if you can be the person for their "dice" (listen to get the reference), the one who gives real feedback and not just hype, even better.Catch you on the flip side!!

E17 - Healing My Relationship with my Dad - Learn to neutralise resentment and lean into gratitude

In this episode, I share with you some of the work of Dr. John De Martini. A world-renowned polymath who has created a breakthrough experience to help everyone let go of emotions that keep us stuck and trapped, hurting ourselves more than those we feel those negative emotions about. It certainly changed my life and think it is worth sharing. If you ever decide to work with him, your past and future self will THANK YOU! So pumped that I did the course and get to share the takeaways with you guys. Enjoy, and share it with someone who needs to hear this!

E16.1 - PART 1: Nadine Senat - When your body changes the plan; A raw account of living with MS

In this episode, I have the pleasure of chatting with Nadine. A way she once described herself was a 'pocket rocket'. After this interview, I realised that although the diagnosis of MS has changed what that means physically for Nadine it has not changed that one bit about her spirit. She is always holding the perspective of what she CAN do which seems near impossible to us on the outside who would not stand a chance in the challenges of her situation. She has made the most of every opportunity to LIVE and to continue healing. Nadine is constantly making strides (quite literally) closer and closer to her next goals. From waking up and not being able to walk effectively overnight, spending 3 years finding it hard to get out of bed with flare-ups and learning to walk again and again, she is now working full-time and finding moments to do things she loves! I'm quite sure you will find this conversation as inspiring and moving as I did and also come away with some tools to manage your relationships with people who have chronic illness in your life far better. Enojy! Catch you on the Flip Side!

    E15 - Misogi - The once-a-year personal growth challenge!

In this Episode we discuss how the pursuit of a really hard goal can shape you as a person! It can call for an identity re-assessment and allow you to evolve into the next version of yourself. Misogi is a Japanese concept adapted to modern times as a big goal or feat that you set once a year. It can take the whole year or it can be a concentrated effort eg. the Everest Summit. Your Misogi has to have a 50/50 chance of success to failure, this is a true misogi. I talk through what mine will be for this year and how I have thought through it so you can do yours too! Hope you Enjoy xx

E13 - Troy Sitkowski goes from fearless to brave - Tools to move through anxiety

If you can't overcome the fear, then do it scared! This is one of my favourite sentiments from this episode with Troy Sitkowski. He is Australia's 2025 World Games athlete. Every 4 years for non-olympic sports Australia selects one male (if australia earns the spot) to go and compete at this event. Troy both earned the spot for our country and then again proved his capability by being selected as the athlete to compete at the World Games. Troy talks about different tools and frames of mind to be in when approaching scary, anxiety inducing things. We cover breathwork, frames of thought, exposure therapy, assessing risk and consequences and many more points. We discuss this in terms of trampoline, and go on to extrapolate the learnings to common life situations. Troy's unique experience of fear and how it has changed over the years has many gems of wisdom to draw on and take into day-to-day life.

E12 - Exposing My Relationship for the Greater Good - Response vs Reaction

In this episode, I talk about my first experiences of building the skill of self-awareness. I explore seeing my own patterns and starting to shift them. I'll give some insight into learning that your emotions do not always have to govern your actions. There is a space between emotion and action where you have an opportunity to be self-aware. You get to choose whether you react or respond. Enjoy! xx

E11 - Brock Batty - The Youngest Trampoline Olympian Opens Up About the Post Olympic Blues

In this episode I talk to Olympian Brock Batty who had a whirlwind of an experience as he describes it in 2024. With as little as three months notice he was the highest scoring Aussie, at 17 years old, just in the nick of time for Olympic selection. It wasn't even on his radar for this cycle months before that. We talk in depth about his obsession and love for being an elite athlete and devoting his time and energy to being not only best athlete he can be but the best person he can be. We have an interesting conversation about navigating difficult emotions like fear and nervousness. He has some great insights on building competence over confidence. I hope you enjoy!

E10 - Mr. Tremolada/ Coach Tommy shares lessons for teachers

Meet my brother! In this episode I've invited my brother Thomas to talk about his learnings in his teaching and coaching careers so far. How setting boundaries, meeting kids where they are at and teaching life skills through gamification is how he feels he can make the most impact. What I have gained from Thomas's insights is that school and sport are training grounds for life. Teach kids how to deal with hardship, that it's okay not be liked, and what strategies they can use in handball that they can also use whenever they feel upset. From the most disadvantaged children to the most privliged there seems to be a similar thread. Kids can learn through play with a great guide.

E9 - 7 Fears That Stop People From Trying

In this episode I share some of my learnings from a seminar I attended by Dr. John De Martini. I found his philosophy and way of viewing the world quite transformative. I wanted to share one of the many titbits I frantically scribbled in my notebook as he spoke. Reflecting on the fears that stop you from actualising and being able to be your most authentic self is a topic I have found so much value in reflecting on. But not only that, I can now see and begin to take different actions as a result. Leave a comment with your thoughts! What fear did you resonate with the most?

E8 - AUS NO. 1 Ranked Trampoline Gymnast (DMT) Eva Fountis tells us her story

In this episode Eva tells us all about her story on the way to becoming Australias highest ranked female double mini trampoline athlete at the age of 18! Wow. She shares what skills, both mental and physical, she brought over from WAG (womens artistic gymnastics). She explains which of these she attributes to her success and we discuss if her goals in this sport equate to her goals in her previous sport. An interesting chat on 'giving up' and 'taking the easy way out' as well as the expectations of others when on the path to stepping into your own greatness.

  14. 8

E7 - Is being desperate for your goal stopping you from achieving it? Desperation Vs. Detachment

Desperate for your goals or detached? Big misses on goals you had your eye on for a long time can be heartbreaking. Is there another way to feel? I would say yes, but it takes some practice. Maybe there's a goal that you're still wanting to achieve, and you feel like the more you chase it, the further away it runs. Could you be standing in your own way by how you are perceiving your goals? Find out in this ep!

E6 - The Almanack of Thomas Holman - GB and AUS trampoline coach

Tom and I discuss the life lessons that Tom imparts on the athletes that he coaches, including myself. We talk about why Tom decided to coach and his mission as a coach as well as diving deeper into the meaning behind the things he says to his athletes. It's a privilege to have Tom as a coach and a mentor. His impact has certainly been a big part of my very different, certainly better, relationship to the sport and myself . I know that there will be many Tomisms to take home for listeners. Thanks Tom, I and we appreciate you lots.

E5 - Navigate big life changes with change QUEEN Angelica Ioakimidis

Talking all things about managing CHANGE in work, sport, relationships, motherhood and life! Angelica has such a unique way of approaching change that many people spend years trying to achieve. We discuss how the challenges of relationships, sport, goals and motherhood have brought out the best and the worst parts in our respective journeys. As a change manager at work she is very self aware of how she and others cope with change. Angelica describes her intention to keep creating new versions of a person she is proud to be. A truly inspiring and vulnereble conversation with a takeaway or 10 for everyone.
