What I learned by studying Chris Do, founder of The Futur

What I learned by studying Chris Do, founder of The Futur I am studying Chris content on branding, pricing and positioning and my key takeaways are: 1. Price your services based on the impact that your services have on the businesses you serve. 2. Do not sell the product or services but the solution to the painpoint(s) of your ideal customer 3. Use step by step guides to show to your audience how to solve a problem they have. My take on No3 is that is absolutely true although it sounds counter intuitive. We are afraid that by showing the secrets we will lose business but we do not take into account a couple of things: 1. The lack of time business owners have to implement solutions even if they know know how 2. The lack of confidence that the result they achieve will be worth the time invested from them (and is taken away from other value adding activities) I am learning constantly and I am personally growing while growing my business and I am very excited to disect all this information and offer it to all of you in a newsletter format so you can grow too! Tomorrow I am hitting my 100th consecutive live and I am excited!

How I turn my Mondays into happy and productive days

How I turn Monday to a happy and productive day Do no focus work early in the morning! I prepare my task list from Sunday night. For the first 3-4 hours of the day I only work on quick wins, projects and tasks that need 30 mins of execution or less. Anything admin goes here. By the time I am done: 1. Half of my week's task list is done so I feel lighter and happier 2. I can block bigger chunks of focus time for "brain intensive" tasks during the week. That's it!

Ecommerce store owners do not ignore this!

Ecommerce store owners do not ignore this! When you list your products take the time to do it right, especially these small details that no one talks about: 1. Images alt tags so you can increase the image SEO 2. Appropriate tags for easier search and filtering in your website so you can offer a better user experience 3. Add information in all the backend elements as SKU, inventory, pricing tiers, different attributes (like sizes, colours etc) so you can have a tidy virtual "warehouse" 4. Collections and related products manually added so you can correctly upsell and crossell more of your products and generate more revenue per customer. Do not rush when you add your products in the backend of your platform, take your time and do it right. It will pay dividents

How it started vs how it's going: Business update

How it started vs how it's going When I started I was offering services and consultation for free. It was my way to get traction and experience. Later on I started charging but almost nothing for the quality of work delivered. 6 months ago I changed my model from project based to subscription based with a very low price for the monthly commitment and the continuously improving quality of work. Within a week I am officially moving my website away from Wordpress and I am celebrating with DOUBLING my existing prices. This will reflect the quality of the work I deliver and will empower me to improve more and faster! These are not the only news, since I am launching soon: * Conversions centric daily newsletter * Blog * Audits (websites, landing pages, funnels and more) * Weekly workshops * Done with you services Exciting!

How to build a community if you don't have many followers

How to build a community if you don't have many followers If you are expecting a secret recipe to success you will be disappointed. The only thing you need to do is to engage. Send a message to every new follower Reply to every comment In other words, be a social human being. If this is too hard for you then probably social media is not a place you should use to do business. Or anything social really...

What technology do you work on?

What technology do you work on? This was a question half an hour ago in a DM and it is a great opporrunity to address it in this live! After 10+ years as a software developer and 5+ in ecommerce, marketing, advertising and services I am proud to say I am software agnostic... I have worked with over 60 different tech and platforms (and this is a very conservative number). So, I am trained to work with anything and adapt veey quickly! This is what differentiates me from other people and service providers! The principles remain the same and the tech is only the tool needed to achieve results. And no toolnus a problem for me.. Do you work with a new or different tech? Challenge accepted!

    Website design does not matter

Your website design does not matter. Before you start creating branding, design elements or anything visual you need to focus on something else. Website architecture and customer journeys. Take pen and paper ans think what you want your website visitor to do in every page, every section, every next step. I do not care if your website looks pretty, refined and unique. Unless you nail architecture and customer journeys first it is designed to fail. Miserably.

The perfect offer needs a guarantee

A perfect offer needs a guarantee. I do not care what you sell, you need a strong guarantee. A guarantee will reverse the risk that a stranger will take by investing their money on your product or business. A guarantee is part of a great customer experience. And, yes... Some people will take advantage. This is just part of the statistic. But a strong guarantee will: 1. Show confidence to the value of your product 2. Convert WAY more clients than the ones that will take advantage or simply won't like your product. Always offer a guarantee. But how you know it is a strong one you ask? When you offer it, you must feel uncomfortable doing so. I guarantee you...you need a guarantee!

    Let's talk about OnlyFans

Let's talk abou the No1 platform in client retention and life time value. The platform that very small content creators make a lot of money. A.Lot. But they leave so much money on the table. A platform that so many people know about, many use and yet so few dare to talk about... And the platform is.... OnlyFans! So many creators are funneling people from Instagram and TikTok to their OnlyFans accounts where they sell subscriptions, photos and videos of a next door boy or girl experience. My mission is to help content creators make more money by converting attention to leads, leads to paying clients and paying clients to repeat clients. And I know I am touching a sensitive subject since this platform is an 18+ one, meaning that in many cultures is a hush hush subject. Anyone that teaches growth, marketing, funnels, advertising can help these creators too. Any entrepreneur that does not recognising this as an opportunity is making a big mistake and is missing out. For the sensitive ones I am not going to apologise for discusing about this today. For the open minded ones, what is your opinion?

If you don't your email deliverability will stop as a result of the Google and Yahoo updates that take effect at February 1st. The settings that need to be updated in the platform that you hosts your email are the following: * SFP * DKIM * DMARK This is time critical, and I warned you! Take immediate action!

    How Kanye West dominates attention

How Kanye West dominates attention and how you can do it for your business He is a master of attracting attention. His lyrics and music. His outfits. His wives. His comments. Everything about him is unique. Even when he f*** up with anti-semitic comments. Even when he loses half of his net worth as an effect of the above. Because he knows the recipe that leads to failure... And this is being vanilla. Your copy, your creative, your brand, your overall brand. If you want to win you need to stand out. How? With a different opinion than the mainstream, eccentric behaviour or plainly be polarising. When everyone is going right you need to go left. Do you have strong opinions? SPEAK UP! Don't be another vanilla person because you are afraid of judgement. BE LOUD with your opinions and you will attract attention. Haters and fans. And if you want to succeed you need both...

This is how 99% of businesses look like...

This is how 99% of businesses look like... Overcomplicated Without a clear path forward Broken in places Without clearly defined processes With more operations than they should! Entrepreneurs are famous for having a chaotic mind... So, our businesses are a representation of our chaotic mind. Our approach should be leaner, minimalistic, with simple processes that are well defined and scalable. Decluttering is a must at our homes, our desks, our lives but more so at our businesses!

The 3 principles of a successful lead magnet

The 3 principles of a successful lead magnet are... 1. Be valuable 2. Be digital 3. Be a natural first step of your sales process If you cannot create just simply... Curate. Curate a list of books, videos, tools that will help and serve your audience. It just has to be valuable. Since you put the effort to create a lead magnet there is a last step for the ultimate success of it as a first step in your sales process. Set expectations. Setting expectations is what makes or breaks any relationship. Let the leads know what to expect in terms of communication. What, when and how often they will receive from you. So... Recap. Valuable, digital and first step to your sales process. Create or curate. Set expectations of future communications. Oh... And do not do a hard pitch from the get go...

When should you automate processes in your business

When should you automate processes in your business. Meet Jen (not in this video). She runs 3 businesses. So her time is VERY important. She WASTES a lot of time for repeatable admin tasks every day. Tasks like booking appointments, sending emails, checking waiver forms and more. She wants to free up her time to be able to run her business(es) instead of them running her down. Automation is how she solves her problem. She has to figure her exact process. Then she needs to take note of the technologies involved. Finally she needs to find the appropriate software (like Zapier) that can connect and integrate the different software together. Automation will replace manual work. Automation will free her time. Automation will help her focus on more important parts of her business(es). When should you automate a process you ask? As soon as possible. Because time is irreplaceable...

What are you ready to sacrifice to succeed?

What are you ready to sacrifice to succeed? This was part of a chat I had today. New businesses are not guaranteed success. Just the opposite. But if you are ready to sacrifice short term and pibot just to give your business enough time to grow and succeed, then you might just make it. For me, anything goes. I am ready to sacrifice almost everything for my dream to come true. Everything but family and relationships. Because for me, no succeess or failure is worth a penny without people to share it with.

    Celebrating my 70th consecutive live!

Celebrating my 70th consecutive live! I started because I wanted to get better talking to my camera. I started because I wanted to challenge myself to consistently do something veey uncomfortable. What I realised is that challenge brings growth. Growth in skills and in numbers. But showing up every day grows a community. And I am now doing it for the community. For the few people that follow my journey (and are not my parents 😂). For the ones that find it valuable, start discussions and they let me help them anyway I can. For the social part of social media. And for the fun of it!

Why multitasking is bad for my mental health

I am getting older and wiser... I do not enjoy multitasking anymore. It exhaust me and confuses my mind. It triggers my OCD because doing many things in one day and not fully completing them leaves open loops in my mind. I enjoy working on less tasks for longer time every day, taking advantage of the higher focus and efficiency. Well, I am not yet able to work like this most days but this is the direction I want to take. Because multitasking is not working for me. Not anymore...

How Kajabi gets new leads with this unusual promotion

How Kajabi gets new leads with this unusual promotion. This is for all of you with paid memberships, courses with monthly payments or Software As A Service products. 15 mins ago I saw an ad on Faceboom from Kajabi offering a trial. What is new about a trial? Nothing really...BUT... The usual way is to offer a 7, a 14 or a 30 day trial. Kajabi went another way. They offer a 3 month trial for 99 USD for a product that costs 199 USD p/m. What they achieve? Getting higher qualified leads since they now pay a heavily discounted 3 month membership. The new leads have 3 months to use the software and transfer their business to the platform which increases the retention potential. This is a different way of promoting your memberahip offers or your SaaS products. Give it a try...

What does client success mean to you?

What does client success mean to you? For me personally being a part of their entrepreneurial journey and success fuels me up and drives me to become better in my business! Being around successful people, experiencing their drive, their commitment, their failures, their successes and their business experience is just...beautiful! And I would not change this experience for anything in the world. Disclaimer: There are a ton of bad moments but it makes it all more enjoyable!

Cold email outreach landscape is changing fast in 2024

Cold email outreach landscape is changing! In lieu of yesterday's live I am talking about cold email outreach today. We had a brief chat in yeaterday's acceleration day about Gmail taking measures against mass emailing. More email providers will follow suit. What does this mean though? The standard campaign strategies must change. 1. Lead with value more than before. 2. Do a soft pitch later in the campaign rather than hard pitch from the get go. Otherwise you risk ending up in the spam folder and churning through domain names faster than before. Talk with the support of your automation tool and see if they are taking measures. Google moves towards a better customer experience and advertisers have to prioritise their UX more than anything now. Care for your prospects more.

How I plan to save 20-35% of time in my business in 2024

How I plan to save 20-35% of time in my business in 2024. Today I deciced to map to the tiniest detail all my business processes. Where you read process replace with: 1. Client work 2. Project management 3. Live streaming 4. Writing a blog 5. Writing a newsletter 6. Create a new product 7. Create content for social Etc. Having very detailed mapping can help with: 1. Having a good understanding of which work flows can be automated or outsourced. 2. How much time each process or flow takes and try to optimise it for either gain in time or raise in output. And this is how I plan to save approximately 20-35% of time next year, compared to this year. This will allow me to: 1. Improve the business 2. Increase my work capacity for more clients 3. Or spend more time for me and with my family Do you have a detailed mapping of your business workflow and processes?

How to increase engangement and client retention in your business?

How to increase engangement and client retention in your business? I learned a lesson today spending all day on my couch playing a game, incapable of doing anything else. And this is how to use milestones and instant gratification to help your business have more engaged members or clients that will stay loyal for longer. What you need to do: 1. Create milestones of achievements for your community. 2. Celebrate them with your members/clients when they reach them. 3. Send them a physical gift when they do. Now the next one will push harder and all the rest will stay for longer just because there are "trophies" to ve earned. FB does it, forums do it, well established businesses do it too. Why don't you?

    How to be happy?

How to be happy? This is the eternal question that I struggled for a long time and the recipe for me is: 1. Be healthy because without healthy there is nothing to enjoy and be happy for. 2. Find who you love and makes you happy and be close to him/her/them 3. Find what you love doing and do more of it. We spend 16-17 hours awake every day. If we are not healthy, doing what we love and being around people that we love and love us back then we are wasting our time. I guess that when one feels sick, then philosophical queastions pop into the mind. Wish me health because right now number 1 piece of the recipe is missing...

Why is consistency so important in life and business?

Why is consistency so important in life and business? My father always taught me the importance of consistency and I could understand the meaning of what he said and showed me. But I could not for the love of god be consistent. Then, I grew up and I became consistend but on the unhealthy, hustle culture. This meant that I pushed hard every day for work, side hustles, diet, exercise but I lost balance. I also burned out. Multiple times. Now, I know better. I understand that showing up everyday for your family, your friends, your business is enough to succeed. You just need to keep showing up consinstently for a long period of time. And you will win. Without sacrificing your health or your relationships. This is the whole meaning of today's video. I am showing up. Because I want to win.
