Episode 46: The #1 Reason Movement Still Feels Hard (Even When You’re Doing All the Right Things)
Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podYou know, sometimes, before I go on stage, I have these moments of utter, complete vulnerability, where I just don’t know if I’m going to fall flat on my behind, or end up taking people with me into an incredible journey. And I think it’s in those moments that these the following really, really help me out: And reminds me what I - all of us are - truly capable of.I know I might sometimes sound like this optimist cheerleader, but I’m not.I’m just speaking from the experiences I see around me, of people managing to overcome difficulties and thrive despite and through it.So I wanted to share with you one of the things I think we struggle with the most:Our feeling of capability, our feeling of worth. And if you ever felt incapable (who hasn’t?) you probably know exactly what I’m talking about…. And here’s where I think it gets really interesting, and so overlooked… It’s often when we’re met with a physical challenge - that we quickly land into the belief that we’re just incapable - that our body’s just built ‘wrong’.And that’s such a passive place. It always lands you right back into square 1 of that physical problem, with no solution in sight.Because if that’s the story we’re telling ourselves - then that becomes the reality of your body.So how do we move beyond that?I recorded a podcast episode that I really want to share with you, on how to completely re-write this story. Because what if the way everything is set up, is what’s giving you that feeling? And what if you could meet it all completely differently? What would become possible for you then?By: Meytal Blanaru | Fathom HighMusic in intro: Oded TzurIntro editing: Noam Dorembus

Episode 45: The 3 missing pieces of the puzzle that keep you in pain & limitation
Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podWhen I was pregnant with my firstborn son, I had a really difficult birth.Over 38 hours at home... and then, finally, the last 2 hours in the hospital - where I found myself stuck, with my son unable to come out.I was almost rushed to the operating table for a cesarean. The pressure kept going up, till the doctor looked at me and said - You have two attempts to get him out naturally. If this doesn’t work, we have to operate. So when he said, Push now. Hard.I looked at my midwife and said - But... I can’t feel anything. When I got to the hospital, they pressured me to take epidural - and I did.But because of the epidural - I couldn’t feel my belly at all. So… How can you push and use a part of your body that you’re cut off from and simply can’t feel at all…?And yet—this is the story of how I still managed to give birth to my son naturally and avoid a C-Section. And it happened through a tool that’s so overlooked and so simple that it’s almost painful… Through imagination (What?! That’s it…?!?)I know it might not sound like the dramatic tool that will save you from the operation table… but here’s where we totally miss the stuff that are the most impactful when it comes to overcoming a limitation. Whenever we meet a limitation… Imagination - the ability to visualize the outcome we’re after - is paramount. It’s essential.Think about it:Every time we want change to happen in our lives, we often keep operating from the same patterns that got us into the problem or that debacle. But if we are oriented toward a solution, we need to almost act from the future of that outcome. And the ability to physically visualize what we want to accomplish - even if we can’t yet do it in reality - shows the body the way to move beyond that wall. If you wanna hear all about this epic story and how this all works - I just recorded a short podcast episode about this! It shares this entire story in its most dramatic vs. daily moments of motherhood, and how this all can apply to you - with whatever you might be facing right now physically. Episode 43: How an artist healed years of chronic back pain in 3 sessions
Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podI’ve seen too many times where people that are struggling with pain or limitation - give up before they truly gave it a shot. Giving up usually comes after the we start internalizing the belief that “I'm just not built right”, “I'm built for pain”. It’s at that point that that physical hardship almost becomes a part of our identity. And if you’ve ever dealt with pain or limitation - until you don’t change this mindset - you just stay stuck. Because, how likely are you to take action, to keep trying, and to eventually overcome a physical difficulty - if you don’t even believe it’s possible….? To open up what’s possible for you, here’s a really powerful new episode for WE MOVE MOUNTAINS. It’s the story of Georgie, an insightful artist that shares her incredible journey in overcaming chronic back pain.By: Meytal Blanaru | Fathom HighMusic in intro: Oded TzurIntro editing: Noam Dorembus

Episode 42: Healing 20 years of chronic back pain in 1 session
Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podWe dive into Primož’s journey - after 20 years of chronic back pain, he was finally able to let it go… in less than an hour.20 years of attempts… vs. 1 hour of change.Today, over a month and a half later, he’s still without pain. Now I know that’s so epic that it’s almost unbelievable. But that’s what I love about these stories - they re-define how you meet a problem, how you meet limitation. And it shows you that you’re body is designed for healing, for finding the way out. And here’s something so powerful (that if it didn’t give you a breakthrough please read it again…): Here’s why it’s so important that you listen to such stories if you ever dealt with any kind of physical challenge. Do you know of Roger Bannister’s story? Before he ran a mile in under 4 minutes - people believed it couldn’t be done. For decades no one managed to surpass that barrier. It was considered a physical impossibility. But after Bannister did it, something shifted - just 46 days later, someone else broke the same barrier. And soon after, many more followed. Because once the belief cracked open, everything just changed. Stories like Primož’s do the same - they expand your barriers and what’s possible for you, and for us all. Which is why I’m so excited about this series of episodes! So I know life can get really busy sometimes. But dive into this one if you’ve ever dealt with a physical challenge. This is the most effective way out: to hear more stories like the ones of Primoz and Banister. Because, think about it. Only after you believe that something IS possible - will you be able to do it. So to redefine what’s physically possible for you - jump right in! By: Meytal Blanaru | Fathom HighMusic in intro: Oded TzurIntro editing: Noam Dorembus

Episode 41: How a midwife overcame debilitating knee pain
Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podI’m really excited to begin with Esther’s story - a midwife who overcame debilitating knee pain… not through movement, but through a single conversation we had.Yes - just the conversation itself shifted something profound. And luckily, that moment was recorded, so I thought to myself, why not turn it into a podcast episode so you can experience it too?We explore some of the most overlooked parts of healing - the pieces no one talks about but that can completely change the path forward. And if you’re wondering whether this still applies if your challenges are different - the answer is - yes, absolutely. These are universal principles around healing and rehabilitation :)By: Meytal Blanaru | Fathom HighMusic in intro: Oded TzurIntro editing: Noam Dorembus

Episode 39: The missing pieces in your healing journey with Charlie Brittain
Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podIf you’ve ever experienced a physical challenge (which we all do - as it’s part of having a body..!), then you’ll probably relate…When I was starting out my movement journey, I used to feel like I was hitting my head against the wall. Looping inside that same way of moving. Falling into the same tension. Stretching, going to the osteo, doing it all ‘right’ - yet nothing really changed. The thing I was missing at the time - something I now understand deeply is this - and I hope it offers you some insight and empowerment with whichever challenge might be coming your way:A physical challenge is kinda like a puzzle. And you wouldn’t still be in the problem if you had all the pieces.Trying to do more of the same - trying to force together puzzle pieces that were never meant to fit - won’t get you far. What actually helps is changing how you see the whole thing. And the best advice I can give you is this:The problem is usually not where you think it is.For example, pain in your neck is a symptom. The root cause often lies somewhere else entirely - your pelvis, your chest...Try softening those places a little. Search for less tension in different body parts - you’ll see that some of them bring such a sense of relief to where you’re feeling tension or limitation… I know it’s counterintuitive, but the less you focus on the body part where you feel stuck, the more likely you are to find the missing pieces. If you want to truly find that sense of physical relief and freedom that comes when the pieces of the puzzle falls into place - jump into this week’s podcast episode of WE MOVE MOUNTAINS!It’s a conversation with Charlie Brittain - a rehabilitation expert - about those golden trove missing pieces of the puzzle, about what healing is really about.By: Meytal Blanaru | Fathom HighMusic in intro: Oded TzurIntro editing: Noam Dorembus

Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podI just had one of the most grounding, expansive conversations on the podcast this week - and it opened up something I think so many of us are navigating: a new relationship with our emotions, and how they live in the body.I sat down with Eva Beronius, and we explored how emotions get sorted in the body - how old reactive patterns shape not just how we feel, but how we move. And what becomes possible when we begin to soften those patterns and meet ourselves differently. If you’ve noticed yourself reacting in ways that don’t feel true to who you are - or you’ve been longing to feel more at home in your body - this conversation might really speak to you.By: Meytal Blanaru | Fathom HighMusic in intro: Oded TzurIntro editing: Noam Dorembus

Episode 6: Say goodbye to toxic Dancing environments with Joan Cleville
Physical Mastermind Registration Link: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podTo join the epic, game changing FREE online training, starting October 16th, please go to: https://fathomhigh.com/pages/free-training-podToday I sat down for a heart to heart conversation with Joan Cleville, the artistic director of the Scottish Dance Theatre. The Scottish Dance Theatre is one of the leading contemporary dance companies in our field, and Joan has done pioneering work in creating a healthy working environment that places the dancers wellbeing above all. In today's episode we cover the following: * the common mistakes that lead to a negative working environment. * how to turn things around when the ambiance in the studio turns more and more negative. * in which ways do we need to show up so that the ambiance in the studio is positive. All of this is such a crucial conversation to have. oftentimes we feel like we have to suffer in order to grow, that we have to be in a negative environment to 'push ourselves' to improve and grow. Nothing can be furthest from the truth. You CAN grow in a healthy working environment so much more. in fact, when you feel safe, your nervous system is much more available for learning. So don't accept negative working environments as an essential part of dancing. Let's move mountains, let's change that together.By: Meytal Blanaru | Fathom HighMusic in intro: Oded TzurIntro editing: Noam Dorembus
