Additional Links Find Stephanie at www.thestephaniejordan.com On Instagram at instagram.com/thestephaniejordan On Facebook at facebook.com/thestephaniejordan Buy Di's books or contact her about speaking opportunities on her website: diciruolo.com Episode Takeaways Our trauma often impacts the choices we make in our early relationships, but healing is possible. Divorce and widowhood are not the same, and the emotional toll of losing a spouse is profound. Supporting someone who has experienced loss requires empathy, understanding, and respecting their unique journey. Taking care of oneself and setting boundaries is crucial in the healing process. Widows and widowers often lack the necessary support systems to help them navigate the challenges of loss. Grief can be overwhelming and have a profound impact on both the mind and body. Supporting those who have lost a loved one requires empathy, understanding, and a willingness to be present in their grief.
