Real talk, we’re talking self-love and masturbation, and doing what feels good for you! We talk about the things we heard when we were younger that made us too scared to try. An orgasm a day keeps the doctor away

Unless you’re sleeping with your doctor. We loosely touch on the unsustainable weight loss programmes that are Slimming World, Weight Watchers, and Herbalife. We ask why you'd want to pay for the privilege of being shamed while you weigh yourself in front of the group. Remember, the number on the scales means f**k all. Strong is sexy. Be loud, be bolshy, be bold, and buy a Womanizer.

  3. 22

The luteal phase, or the bitch phase

We aren’t calling us bitches, we’re calling the luteal phase a bitch. Girls, we all do it. We are so mean to ourselves in the luteal phase. We’re talking about the small changes we can make during the luteal and late luteal phases to be kinder to ourselves, and make sure we have a more pleasant period. Let us know your tips on taking care of yourself when your womb is doing its thing!

  4. 21

Be the CEO of your own life

While on the tangents we’re talking about the things we wish we knew were normal when we were younger. But the main subject of this episode is to treat your life like a million dollar business - what is your mission statement? What is your focus? Are you putting structure in your day? If you were to get paid a million pounds/dollars for your day what would you do differently? PS send us your kitchen dancing videos, and we might just post ours on Instagram! Free yourself…

…from the tightness of a sports bra, but also free yourself from feeling you need to look a certain way whenever you’re out in public. We recorded remotely this week so apologies if the sound isn’t great! Shout out to Fearne Cotton and her new book ‘Likeable’ for helping with this week’s topic, and a revelation for Mimi.

People pleasing - aka drunk pod

This week we're having a few wines as we talk about being natural people pleasers, and what we do to make sure it's US that are being pleased by our actions. Yes we get more and more drunk as the episode goes on, which of course means more tangents, but we hope you enjoy them! Mimi does get a little political at the start #chooselovealwaysEnjoy!

Pressure to get the “summer body”

Sammie has some exciting news to share! Shout it from the rooftops: the Sculpt and Rise Method is here! So many of us want to lose weight, or to look a certain way, but without doing the inner work we’re never going to fall in love with ourselves, so get that sexy, inner work done ladies! And on that subject, we’re soon going to be seeing the dreaded “get summer body ready”. We’re giving you the tips that have helped us get through the pressure we put on ourselves to look a certain way in our bikinis or summer outfits. Being a prep queen is key! Also full disclosure, we had the Prosecco without the water chasers.

Ready to play the long game, with special guest Hazel!

Women who want to lose weight or start a fitness journey - we’re overwhelmed. There’s so much content thrown at us everyday; what’s the right path? We absolutely loved this chat with Hazel, talking all things diet culture, pressures on women, and the fad diets cycle. If you’re on the fad diet path, are you ready to do this forever? If you want to maintain results, that’s the path you’ll go down with a fad diet. Get ready to play the long game - what’s the point in getting to the size you want to be when you have no energy from a quick fix diet? We hope you love this chat as much as we did! Make sure you’re following Hazel on Instagram @hazel_hdfitness. And if you want to learn more about working with Lissy, follow @lissy_consciouslycreate.

How to tackle overwhelming food noise

Trigger warning, we’re talking about food noise and being overwhelmed, with a brief discussion of eating disorders. After Chevy welcomes us with a lick to the ear, we talk lymphatic drainage, moments of pausing, and a love for butter beans and garlic. When you become obsessed with “eating the right thing” unhealthy habits can start to take over. So we’re (well, Sammie is) giving you tips to deal with the food overwhelm. You are worthy, regardless of any number on the scales, any clothing size. The numbers really don’t mean a thing. Become obsessed with how good you feel. The internal work, and the personal journey is where you’re going to start seeing the results. Sure, you can get fast weight loss results with the jab, but what’s next? How are you strengthening your body for the long haul, and are you really healing your relationship with food?Sammie takes us through the benefits of fasting at the right time in our menstrual cycle, but knowing that fasting might not be for everyone, and it shouldn’t become another stressor in your life.Remember, we are all powerful bitches! The recipe app Mimi mentioned is ReciMe, hope it helps!

Don't waste your time on reverse cowgirl

What started as a vibe check became an unhinged and hilarious chat. We do need to start with a trigger warning of talks of depression and suicidal thoughts at the start. Mimi speaks very candidly about her struggles with depression and the little coping mechanisms to get through the tough days. If this isn’t for you, skip to 20:56!We then get into the slightly unhinged conversation of vaginal dryness, hormones, cystitis, the whole shabang. And we aren’t being paid to say this, but get yourself The Womanizer - you’re welcome girlies!

  11. 14

BONUS! What we thought of 'Reality Check'

We just couldn't wait a week to release this one! We're talking about the America's Next Top Model documentary. Expect our honest views, plus detail on how the show made us feel as teenagers, and the pressures we put on our young selves thinking we needed to change our appearance.Trigger warning - we do mention the topic of suicide towards the end of the episode. If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please reach out to someone. There is always something and always someone. Big love x

Part 2: Always thriving, back with our special guest!

When did you realised you’d become ‘her’?We’re back with Syd for part 2 of our chat where she talks us through:How Thriving Woman has become part of her lifeHer new routineThe love for Sammie’s PT sessionsThe importance of deep rest and recoveryAnd the joys of having a strong community around you.Of course there are tangents, including a misophonia moment of Mimi drinking her drink too loudly (it’s ok, you can’t hear it on the audio) and we continue our discussion around the ‘shame’ we sometimes feel around having type 1 diabetes. If you can relate to Syd’s story and recognise some of those cycles we discussed in yourself, reach out to Sammie for a discovery call: https://www.sammiebfitness.co.uk/contact

Part 1: Always thriving - with a very special guest!

Join us for part one of our conversation with Thriving Woman, Sydney. Syd joined Sammie's programme last year and talks to us about the massive journey she's been on. We delve deep into being diagnosed with type one diabetes, her body image, and the way she used to see herself. We talk about how being in the Thriving Woman programme with Sammie has shifted her confidence and even the way she shows up with her daughter. We had so much fun with this episode. Part two drops next week!If you're ready to truly thrive, get in touch with Sammie through instagram, or her website: www.sammiebfitness.co.uk/contact

Where shame ends and power begins

Trigger warning for sexual assault and domestic abuse. We understand this is a difficult subject so if this episode isn't for you we won't be offended if you don't want to listen. We're talking candidly about our past experiences and how we found our power and our voices. Shame belongs to the person that caused harm, and not with you. You have the power. It's taken us both time to heal, and to get to a place where we can speak confidently on this difficult subject. If you're experiencing any of the issues we've raised there is help available, and there is a way out. This link provides several resources for urgent mental health care: https://www.youngminds.org.uk/young-person/find-help/i-need-urgent-help/

  15. 10

    Dealing with envy

Alongside our usual tangents, we’re discussing that little thingcalled envy. When that green-eyed monster pops up, it’s ok to protect ourpeace. Self-criticism, comparing yourself to others, wanting what others have – this is natural, and it’s ok to mute or unfollow if you’re not feeling the joy. It’s hard to remember that we don’t see everything on socialmedia. Someone can appear to have the perfect life, but that’s simply not true. They have their own struggles, their own green-eyed monster, but they’re choosing not to show that side of themselves. We also talk about the strange world we’re living in rightnow, how this can affect us, and what we’re doing to keep the joy in our lives.Remember, if you need to feel some joy, just shake thoselatatsas! Please remember that we aren't mental health experts, and if you found any of these subjects triggering please seek professional help.

From Burnout to Balance: Healing wounded feminine and masculine energy

Trigger warning, we do briefly discuss abuse towards the end of the episode. We understand this can be triggering so please skip this part if you need to.In this episode, Mimi & Sammie dive into the real meaning of feminine and masculine energy - beyond the buzzwords and aesthetics. We chat about what it actually looks like to live in alignment with your feminine flow and your masculine drive, how so many women end up stuck in wounded patterns (hello burnout, control, and frustration), and how reconnecting to the body changes everything.Hustle culture disconnects women from their bodies, whilst structure can feel supportive rather than restrictive - let’s explore how sensuality and sexuality aren’t things you force, they awaken when the body feels safe.Expect honest conversation and yes… a few tangents along the way! This is one for the woman who’s done pushing, done performing, and ready to come home to herself.

  17. 8

Trusting the body again in a quick fix world

The weight loss jab is everywhere - and for many women, it feels like a tempting answer in a busy, pressured season of life.In this episode, we explore the injections with nuance and care: where they may feel helpful, and what’s worth considering for long-term female health. We talk appetite suppression, under-eating, stress hormones and our own experiences with the ‘all hail skinny’ mindset. This isn’t about judgement or fear. It’s about informed choice, rebuilding self-trust around food, and what actually supports sustainable strength and wellbeing - small habits, compassion, and consistency.Body/food struggles don’t have to be the norm - for a free call to discuss how Thriving Woman can support you, click here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfoEaGA7i6J8DA6HLex1Lzg1XpClf03Rr9ZWUZsifv8ZfccSQ/viewform?usp=send_form

New exhaustion by week two.In this episode, we’re gently binning the New Year hype and talking about why January might not be the time to overhaul your life after all. Why fit in when you can stand out?

Why does a body shape need to be a trend? Is enhancing your body going to make you happier? Let's celebrate those wise lines, the laughter lines, those parts of us we love, and let's ignore Nigel and Patrick, those voices inside that don't let us thrive! For a deeper transformation click here to work with Sammie https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfoEaGA7i6J8DA6HLex1Lzg1XpClf03Rr9ZWUZsifv8ZfccSQ/viewform
