278 | Your Nervous System Is Stuck in Stress - How to Retrain It in Christ, with Cynthia Damaskos

If you find yourself unable to relax - even when everything looks “fine” on the outside, you’re not alone. Many of us women live in a body that hasn’t learned how to feel safe on a daily basis. On this topic, I had the joy to (re)interview Cynthia Damaskos, a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach, and we shared insights about retraining our inner response patterns grounded in faith and practical wisdom, to open the door to real peace, energy, and joy. This episode will help you to lean into small, joy-filled moments - like slow mornings, creative hobbies, intentional pauses - and remind your soul (and your nervous system) that it’s okay to breathe. In this conversation, we discuss how: ☀️ Your body may still react to past stress, even when danger is gone. ☀️ Healing and renewal begin with a sense of safety. ☀️ Slowing down intentionally helps reset your internal rhythms. ☀️ Small daily practices can restore peace, clarity, and energy.☀️ Caring for yourself holistically allows you to serve others with strength and presence. Cynthia's favorite Bible verse reminds her to flourish and rejoice in God's goodness: "I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor - it is the gift of God." ~ Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 (NKJV) Click PLAY to listen to this episode ▶️ https://youtu.be/ueQHBaTcFJQ Want to know more about our guest?🔗 Website: https://www.filledwithless.com/ 🎤 Podcast: https://www.filledwithless.com/filled-with-less-podcast Back 2 Basics - 10 week Journey of Rediscovery --> https://www.filledwithless.com/b2b - Discount Code POPA for 10% OFF Ready to reclaim your JOY, PEACE & PURPOSE without burnout, as you lead and serve in Christ? 274 | When You Don’t Know What to Do - The Psychology of Faith in Gethsemane

There are moments in life, vocation, and leadership when the decision in front of us feels heavier than anything we’ve carried before. We may be praying, thinking, and seeking clarity - and still feel the weight of uncertainty and pressure. Gethsemane reminds us that even Christ faced this kind of moment, not by avoiding it, but by entering fully into a relationship with the Father. And how, even in the tension, you are not meant to walk through it alone. In this conversation, we discuss: ☀️ How the Gethsemane Prayer can be a powerful pathway to clarity.☀️ The importance of critical thinking - we all need to "do our homework".☀️ Reframing difficult situations as an invitation to grow deeper with Christ. ☀️ The impact renewal has on a strong inner life. Many of us love God deeply - and yet there are seasons when He feels distant, unclear, or even absent. 269 | Why Pushing Harder Isn’t Working: Lead with God’s Direction Instead. With Leslie Nunn Reed

Many Christian women leaders feel the weight of responsibility when things stall - wondering if they need to push harder, fix more, or carry the burden alone. But what if the breakthrough you’re seeking isn’t about striving, but about learning how to see clearly, ask better questions, and partner with God in what is already unfolding? In today’s Renewal Conversation with Leslie Nunn Reed, we explore a different way of leading - one that moves from pressure to clarity, from reaction to creation, and from isolation to co-creation with the Holy Spirit. Through the lens of “midwifing” ideas and initiatives, this conversation offers a grounded and hopeful path for those who feel stuck but sense there is more. If you’ve been carrying more than you were meant to carry, this may be the invitation your soul has been waiting for. 268 | Resurrection Leadership: When Growth Mindset Isn’t Enough for Christian Women

In this month’s mini-series, we explore lessons from the Resurrection, bridging science, psychology, spiritual care, and Christian faith, to support you as you navigate work, family, and leadership. The reality that Christ rose from despair and death is a powerful reminder that growth and renewal are always possible, and that nothing can overcome God. Even in the most difficult seasons, there is a deeper movement unfolding. In psychology, this is often described as a growth mindset. While this can be a powerful lens, when taken to an extreme, it can quietly become pressure to fix everything on our own. But growth through adversity is not the only lesson. When we carry the weight of fixing everything for too long, it can lead to chronic stress and disconnection. Resurrection leadership invites a different way: to continue growing while allowing Christ to lead. Learning to let go and realign our thinking is not always easy, but it is possible, and it opens the way to deeper peace, clarity, and strength. In this episode, you learn: ☀️ The difference between fixed mindset and growth mindset. ☀️ The limitations growth mindset can place on Christian women. ☀️ How to integrate faith into moments of uncertainty and struggle. ☀️ A powerful reflection question to help you ground yourself in God. Step into the fullness of the cross, His death and Resurrection and see how you can live more deeply connected with God! 266 | Why God Seems Distant When You Pray - The Hidden Role of Attachment

Many times we carry a quiet tension: we pray, we believe, and yet… sometimes God feels distant. Not absent in theory - but distant in experience. And over time, this can create confusion, self-doubt, or even a subtle fear that something is wrong with your faith. What if the feeling that God is distant is not about God at all… but about how the mind has learned to relate? This week, I am re-sharing an impactful video about faith in God and how it is influenced by one's earliest patterns of attachment. We explore how to recognize these inner patterns, stabilize your thoughts, and anchor your faith in something deeper than emotional fluctuations - so your relationship with God becomes more grounded, steady, and clear. In this episode, you learn: ☀️ How your mind creates emotional spirals through state-dependent memory - and how to interrupt them.☀️ Why you don’t have to believe every thought you think - especially in moments of doubt.☀️ A simple shift in prayer that helps stabilize your faith: gratitude before results.☀️ FIVE actionable steps to help you shift from subconscious projections to a state of peace with God. 265 | Anxiety in High-Achieving Women: A Christian & Science-Based Approach, with Dr. Robyn Graham

Anxiety doesn’t always show up the way we expect, but there are often warning signs that will tell us when it is near. In this renewal conversation, Dr. Robyn Graham, an Anxiety Breakthrough Strategist and creator of the CCC method, unpacks how anxiety often stems from a dysregulated nervous system, quietly shaping behaviors like perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the constant pressure to stay in control. But there is a path forward - one that integrates neuroscience, practical rhythms, and deep spiritual truth. Through simple practices like gratitude, journaling, and time in God’s presence, we can begin to retrain the mind, calm the body, and experience the peace Christ promises - even in the midst of full, demanding lives. 264 | How to Talk About Christ Without Pushing People Away

This week, I re-share an episode about talking with others about your faith, from my own personal experience. It is because of one experience that I turned back to God several decades ago, and we can use this model to help others be curious about God! The uniqueness of Christianity and the awe of who Christ is can develop a great deal of enthusiasm, thus making conversations somewhat intense. On the other hand, sharing our faith in different settings can be very challenging and perhaps uncomfortable. And here is a good place to start - faith begins not with certainty, but with openness. When we move from defending beliefs to exploring reality, we create space for honest questions, authentic encounters with God, and deeper conversations that invite others to discover truth for themselves. In this episode, you will hear more about:☀️ The difference between our beliefs and reality. ☀️ The different ways of sharing religious messages.☀️ How to properly acknowledge a person's perspective that is different than yours. ☀️ Responding to others through curiosity. In this renewal conversation, Dr. Kayla Fresco, a physician and mom, shares about the pressure many Christian women feel as they juggle demanding careers, family life, and their faith. 260 | Stop Striving: How Christian Women Can Tune Into God’s Presence

I pray you are well! This month, we revisit some important past episodes following the theme of FAITH, as we walk with God during this Lenten season.  In this episode, I share some important concepts about connecting with God and why He might sometimes feel distant, although He is everywhere, filling all things. We long to encounter God everywhere, not just in church, but in the middle of our meetings, decisions, and daily responsibilities. Yet the greatest obstacle is often striving - because while excellence has its place, intimacy with God requires connecting with God's energies. In this episode, we cover:☀️ When we clear our mental noise, emotional heaviness, and daily worries, we can shift our “antenna” to align with His frequency.☀️ How this simple shift opens up our true self, our soul, making more space for the fruits of the Spirit.☀️ Some practical steps to connect with God today in faith. Here is a short episode that will invite you to nurture the fruits of the spirit that are given to us daily through co-creation and a deep connection with Christ. TUNE IN NOW! 255 | The Hidden Beliefs That Fuel Burnout - Preventing Burnout, Part 3

What if burnout wasn’t only about your workload - but the hidden beliefs quietly driving you? In this powerful episode of Thriving in Christ, I unpack the subtle mindsets that accelerate chronic stress, reminding us that while responsibilities are real, the “lens” we view them through can either drain us or lead us toward peace. Beliefs about responsibility, excellence, calling, and what it means to be a faithful Christian, along with what it means to take care of ourselves - are what many Christian women professionals carry - quietly. This is often because we want to do our very best for God. And through time, we begin to experience this immense pressure internally, which is when our inner world becomes just as exhausting as our outer responsibilities. In this episode, we will cover:☀️ Review Mark 12:30-31 as a baseline for our belief system. ☀️ 5 mindsets that block us from thriving.☀️ The importance of managing our emotions and caring for our whole selves.☀️ 2 powerful reflection questions that you can answer today to help you shift your mindset. 253 | Burnout Changes Us: The Science You Need to Know - Preventing Burnout, Part 2

Many women often tell me, “I don’t feel like myself anymore.” And, you may notice you’re more irritable, more tired, less patient, or strangely unable to slow down - even when you desperately want to. Prayer feels harder. Rest feels elusive. And you might quietly wonder why faith alone doesn’t seem to be fixing this. What science helps us see is this: burnout is not just emotional or spiritual - it is physiological. Chronic stress literally reshapes how your brain and nervous system function. When your system has been in survival mode for too long, stillness can feel unsafe, and rest can feel inaccessible. In this episode, we will cover:☀️ What chronic stress does to the brain and the nervous system. ☀️ The impact of chronic stress on our bodies, including additional risks. ☀️ The science behind why it's hard to rest, even though you are tired. ☀️ How our understanding of this is essential for healing.☀️ Powerful scripture that will remind you to let go of the stress and put your trust in God. 252 | If Burnout Is Not a Failure, then What is it? - Preventing Burnout, Part 1

There is a quiet moment for many of us when we realize that although we are functioning, delivering, and showing up, yet something inside is missing, feels empty, flat, or tired in a way rest alone doesn’t fix. You may wonder, “What is happening to me?” and even start doubting yourself or your faith. When this happens, we need to consider another possibility: that we might be experiencing burnout. This is important because if we can identify it early, we can prevent it. Burnout is often misunderstood as weakness, lack of resilience, or poor boundaries. But burnout is not a failure of faith or character - it is a predictable response to chronic and unmanaged stress, especially in people who care deeply, carry responsibility, and keep going long after their bodies signal depletion. In this episode, we will cover:☀️ Defining burnout and its key markers.☀️ What misalignment looks like and how it impacts our true self. ☀️ What the Psalms say about restoration.☀️ Two powerful reflection questions for you to start making changes today to prevent burnout. 250 | Good Habits Shouldn’t Exhaust You: The Power of Wisdom & Environment; Rhythm-Habits Part 4

Most likely, you are deeply familiar with doing hard things. At work, at home, in your church. And you are probably rewarded to push through exhaustion, complexity, and responsibility more times than you can count. That perseverance has served you well in leadership and service. But when it comes to daily renewal habits - prayer, rest, Scripture, or simply stopping work at a humane hour - grit alone begins to fail. It can work for a while, and then it backfires as you become increasingly tired. What once felt noble now feels draining. And this is how your body quietly learns that spiritual practices or renewal practices equal strain, not refuge, which then can signal chronic stress. In this episode, you will hear about:☀️ How God works through ease and reward, not pressure. And Yes, rewarding yourself is ok!☀️ The reality behind fatigue and what it really means.☀️ How psychology and Scripture agree about the purpose of good habits.☀️ How our beliefs of these practices plus our physical space can impact our success of renewal in action. The issue isn’t lack of devotion. It’s the cost of carrying good habits without support. Listen now for more. 249 | Raising Up God’s Daughters: Faith, Entrepreneurship, and Kingdom Calling, with Elaine Lankford

It is very common to put pressure on our identity as professional women. And yet sometimes, we are unsure or confused. Well, after a 16-year nursing career - and seasons of profound loss and professional upheaval - Elaine Lankford, realized that God was gently realigning her heart from identity in career to identity in Christ, showing her that He never wastes anything. On a mission trip to Nicaragua, Elaine heard a new call: to “raise up God’s daughters,” becoming a catalyst who empowers women to birth their God-given dreams, much like Elizabeth did for Mary in Luke, chapter one. Through deep time in Scripture, honoring her God-designed rhythms, and faith-centered coaching, Elaine now helps women step boldly into renewal and leadership through She Steps Forward and She Steps Forward International. Together, Elaine and I talk about:☀️ Her amazing connection with God through a small voice, which guided her through major life steps!☀️ John Maxwell and the book that has encouraged her work in entrepreneurship!☀️ Her encouragement and tips for daily renewal!☀️ Our unique relationship with Christ - just like the 12 disciples!☀️ The deep relationship between Elizabeth and Mary in Luke 1:45 that includes mentorship. The Bible verse that guides Elaine and her work is this: "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.” ~ Luke 1:45 (NIV) Elaine's journey encourages us not to shrink back, but to honor how God has uniquely wired each one of us, and to walk out our calling - TOGETHER. 248 | Decision Fatigue Is Stealing Your Peace (Here’s the Fix); Rhythm-Habits Part 3

So much of your day is probably spent responding to emails, making decisions, managing crises, and people’s needs. By the time you reach the end of the day to care for your own habits or spiritual practices, your decision-making energy is often depleted, even if your desire for God remains strong. And you might even tell yourself, “Next time I’ll pause and take care of myself.” But in the moment, stress takes the lead, and you react in ways that don’t reflect what you actually believe or value - this is based on how you were conditioned. This then leaves you thinking - "Why didn’t I respond differently? I know better than that.” The problem isn’t your intention. It’s that you have to make decisions when your capacity is already low. In this episode, we explore how peace is lost, not because you lack faith or willpower, but because your brain and nervous system need support before pressure hits. In this episode, you will hear about:☀️ Why our brains give way under pressure. ☀️ How concepts from psychology can teach us how to "pre-load" wise responses as a way to prevent the pressure.☀️ What scripture says about "committing our ways to the Lord."☀️ A tangible strategy for developing a plan that works! Her story reminds us that God often reveals our purpose through small, faithful steps rather than sudden leaps. And as a wellness strategist and woman in the holistic health-related field, Erica encourages women to embrace simple, sustainable rhythms for holistic wellness, beginning with time in God’s Word and building consistency through small habits. 246 | The Science of Small Steps: How to Change Without Burning Out; Rhythm-Habits Part 2

Many Christian women professionals and servant leaders live with a quiet, constant tension → “I know what would help me… but I don’t have the bandwidth.” You long for prayer rhythms, movement, rest, or gentler mornings - yet even good intentions feel heavy. This is not because you don’t care. It’s because your nervous system is already carrying too much. When life is full of responsibility, pressure, and decision-making, anything that feels “extra”, even holy things, can feel impossible to sustain. In this episode, I will help you reframe change through the lens of compassion and physiology. We’ll explore how God works through small, doable steps that calm the body, rebuild trust, and slowly restore your capacity for renewal - without overwhelm or self-judgment. 245 | Navigating Uncertainty and Pivoting Executive Career with Faith, with Kim Patten

As Christian professional women, we work really hard to build our careers. Then, after some time, something tells us to switch careers or pivot in our direction of life. This could be to stay at home with the kids, to care for a loved one, or a completely different opportunity. This is not easy and can not only bring about confusion, but struggle and pain too. This week, I interviewed Kim Patten, known as the "pivot mom", who wrestled with career-related questions about herself, realizing that shift and change were possible through her faith in God. Kim reflects on a courageous career pause to become a stay-at-home mother after working for a S&P 500 company. Her story - and her book Pivot - encourages women to prioritize faith, listen for God’s guidance, and embrace regenerative rhythms that support both leadership and wholehearted living. In the Renewal Conversation, you will hear about: ☀️ How prayer played a role in Kim's career change and throughout her life. ☀️ Her decision to trust in God despite having deep fears.☀️ More about her book and how to make a smooth transition from one opportunity to the next. ☀️ The importance of building a relationship with God and how it impacts your daily life and rhythm. ☀️ Ideas and strategies that help her stay grounded and focused on God. Kim's favorite Bible verse is this: "Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." ~ Isaiah 41:10 Click below to be encouraged about times of change and how faith in God can lead us to bright, beautiful and unexpected things. 244 | Identity Before Discipline: The Missing Key to Lasting Habits - Rhythm-Habits Part 1

As we step into January, I want to pause with you - not to add more goals, but to ask some deeper questions: - How can you implement successfully rhythms and habits that sustain you so that you can keep on going? - How can you stay on course, not just in your work, family and church life, but in your personal renewal and spiritual life? - And how can you keep your Renewal Intentions set at the beginning of the year? Most likely, you don’t lack discipline and you don’t lack faith. And yet it is likely that many habits meant to renew you, like prayer, rest, movement, and reflection, have felt harder to sustain than they should. Today we are starting a 4-part Friday miniseries on Rhythm and Habits to help you gently shift that pattern - not by asking you to try harder, but by helping you align more wisely with how God designed your mind, body, and soul. In this episode, you will learn about:☀️ Why many renewal practices fail.☀️ How the brain reinforces habits through identity filters.☀️ The key process to achieve sustainable transformation.☀️ How God invites us to renew and co-create change, with the Holy Spirit, from the inside out. 243 | Always Tired? How Chronic Stress and Thyroid Health Affect Christian Women, with Esther Yunkin

In this Thriving in Christ episode, I had the joy of interviewing Esther Yunkin, a registered nurse and Hashimoto’s specialist, on how chronic stress can quietly lead to burnout and autoimmune issues in high-performing Christian women. Together, we reveal how many women continue serving and striving until their bodies signal distress, long before they recognize the warning signs. Esther encourages women who sense “something isn’t right” to listen to their bodies; this is actually God's way of talking to us - through our bodies. In this conversation, Esther shares a wealth of details about certain health topics and offers practical tips to help each of us support our bodies - spiritually, physically and mentally. Her message is one of hope and empowerment, highlighting faith-aligned steps that can lead to healing. Together, Esther and I discuss: ☀️ The influence that God has played in her life, especially throughout her own health journey. ☀️ Specific details about women's health, related to the thyroid. ☀️ Stress management tips including belly breathing, gratitude journaling and more (don't miss the awesome tips for every day!).☀️ The impact gut function has on your overall health, and you guessed it - more tips! Right now, Esther enjoys reading the book of Philippians, and though it was hard to pick a favorite verse, she is strengthened by St. Paul encouraging the people to rejoice in all things! 242 | Why Most Resolutions Fail, but Faith-Based Intentions Actually Transform You

As a new year approaches, many Christian professional women feel called to set intentions, yet traditional resolutions often lead to frustration and burnout (by as early as February or March), rather than renewal. If this happened to you, you are not alone! When energy fades, or prayers feel dry, it’s not a personal failure - it’s a sign that goals rooted only in performance need deeper alignment with God. This week, I invite you to shift from only outcome-driven resolutions to value-based, God-centered intentions, that engage both faith, your dreams, and God. Anchored in Scripture and supported by psychology, these intentions last longer because they flow from meaning, prayer, and trust that God is already at work in us. Through simple, prayerful steps, I invite you to pursue 2026 with grace and intention. You got this! In today's episode, I will share with you: ⭐️ A few KEY psychological concepts about why intentions are important - especially coming from your wise self - which for us Christians, is the image of God.⭐️ Some beautiful bible verses to anchor you along the way.⭐️ Clear reflection questions to help you start the year. Intentions, unlike resolutions, flow from being grounded in Christ - they are not self-willed goals; they are quiet agreements between our soul and God. 241 | Faith, Burnout & Time Stewardship: Multiply Our Impact as Christian Women, With Lissa Figgins

In this Renewal Conversation, I speak with Lissa Figgins about moving beyond burnout by learning to steward time as a gift from God. Lissa shares how her own journey - from striving and exhaustion to faith-centered clarity - taught her that time, like manna, is meant to be received daily with trust and intention. Lissa invites women to see time as something to steward for God’s purposes, instead of managing it through endless productivity. Through her work with Redeem Her Time, Lissa helps Christian women align their work with God’s priorities and multiply their impact without sacrificing rest. Her message is a hopeful reminder that when time is surrendered to God, it becomes an opportunity for growth, peace, and purposeful leadership. In this Renewal Conversation, you will hear about:☀️ How time is a gift from God. ☀️ The idea of how experience with burnout can reveal a person's heart. ☀️ Stewardship over the management of time.☀️ How spiritual practices create alignment. ☀️ The importance of multiplying impact, not hours. 240 | Believing Before Seeing: Transform Your Thoughts Through God’s Promises

Here is an important topic to discuss as you gather with friends and family in the upcoming week: the depth and power of Beliefs. You know what it’s like to carry a vision: to set goals, lead others and move projects forward before outcomes are guaranteed. But even strong women of faith, like you, can feel the tension between believing and the reality of what you see, and this sometimes feels like a huge gap. This can lead to inner doubt, thinking that you are not doing enough or that your prayers are not impactful, while appearing outwardly confident. This can quietly wear us down. And as we just celebrated Christmas yesterday, it is important to remember that we cannot rely on what we see in order to affirm and sustain our beliefs. Like Mary, trusting God that her son is the Son of God, she believed it, even when the evidence was not yet there. And if she did it, through the power of Scripture and science, with God's help, so can we. In today's episode, you will hear about:+ The tension between believing and seeing and the gift of this Cognitive Dissonance.+ How believing is rooted in Scripture and also seen in Psychology. + How beliefs interpret your world and what you see (which are called Cognitive Schemas). + The words of Romans 12:2 and how transformation requires us to renew our minds.+ How making the decision to believe can actually create what we see. When we align our thoughts with His truth, we participate in a beautiful co-creation that shapes our emotions, actions, and ultimately our reality. 239 | Renewal Conversation: Feeding the Poor and Caring for the Vulnerable, With Jane Kourtis

In this week's Renewal Conversation, I had the joy of interviewing Jane Kourtis, who is an attorney of 23 years, a faithful leader, mother and grandmother. Her journey in Christ was shaped from childhood as the daughter of a Greek Orthodox priest, where the beauty of hymnology, liturgy, and the five-sense experience of worship formed her spiritual foundation. Her ministry leadership extends, among others (more in the video), to the Philoptochos ministry, where she serves locally and nationally to support those in need and uphold the rich tradition of compassionate service. Her experiences, including moments of burnout, have taught her to approach each responsibility with clarity, rest, and intention rooted in her Christian values, allowing her to continue to prioritize what matters most - faith, family and purposeful work. In this Renewal Conversation, you will hear about:+ Her vocational journey, while not linear, was one only God could ordain. + Her experience with burnout. + How she applies the "Big Rocks" system (Steven Covey) to her life and the way it serves her and her family. + Her unique way to divide the weekend to take care of herself and her family, and to be with God! (you don't want to miss this.) One of Jane's favorite Bible verses is one that her father quoted many times: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life." 238 | The Healing Power of Connection: Restoring Peace, Belonging, and Strength in Christ

You make hard calls all day — decisions that shape people’s futures, teams, organizations, and your family. Everyone looks to you for clarity, composure, and care. Yet sometimes, when the meetings end and the quiet sets in, there’s a question beneath the surface: who holds you while you hold everything else? In this episode, we will focus on who is supporting you and the healing power of connection. Because from the beginning, God declared, “It is not good for man to be alone.” Connection is love in action — the way God’s presence flows between hearts. What you will hear in today's episode: ⭐️ The psychology of being in a safe relationship.⭐️ Several bible verses calling us to shared presence and connection.⭐️ How simple, intentional moments of connection can reawaken the peace in the midst of overworking and striving. ⭐️ I will wrap up with a few reflective questions to help establish meaningful connections in your own life. 237 | Serving with Stillness: Cultures, Unity & God’s Guidance, with Spyridoula Fotinis

Many Christian women professionals and servant leaders feel the tension between the responsibilities they carry and the longing to remain grounded in Christ while serving across cultures, communities, and complex spaces. In a world where leadership often feels loud, fast, and constantly demanding, faithful leadership can look surprisingly different—quiet, discerning, and deeply rooted in God’s presence. And what a joy to know that there are young women who are embarking on this journey of servant leadership, interested in addressing global issues while following Christ. Spyridoula Fotinis is one of these young leaders and I had the joy of interviewing her in Renewal Conversations. From her work at the United Nations, with the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops, to her time studying social systems in Finland, Spyridoula has learned that leadership shaped by faith is not about striving, but about being attuned to God, to people, and to the quiet spaces where clarity emerges. In this Renewal Conversation, you will hear about:🔅 Spyridoula's journey of faith and how the process of questioning can be a way of deepening our relationship with God. 🔅 How our global worldview can impact our faith and connection with others. 🔅 What silence looks like in another culture.🔅 The psychological meaning of the Third Individuation during our lifetime. 🔅 Beautiful and simple nuggets of renewal. One of Spyridoula's favorite Bible verses relates to her experience with silence - "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" 236 | Transformed From Glory to Glory: Becoming the Woman God Designed You to Be

Christian women professionals and leaders often measure worth by productivity, titles, or impact — even spiritual service becomes performance. Beneath excellence lies quiet exhaustion and fear: “Am I enough?” or “What if they find out I’m not as strong as I look?” Our culture is focused on results and productivity, but God is inviting us to conform to HIM and not to the world. Today - we will take time to slow down, re-ground in Christ’s identity and rest in one of Scripture’s most beautiful promises — that through Christ, we are being transformed from glory to glory into His image. In Today's episode, we will: 🔅 Intentionally slow down.🔅 Unpack 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV).🔅 Talk about the 2 major ways in which deep transformation happens. 🔅 The idea of co-creation with God, and how nurturing this relationship is what helps us thrive. 🔅 Reflection questions that will help you think through your journey so you can move forward. Come and take a short break with God as you reflect on this bible verse and your journey of growth in Christ. 235 | Post-Traumatic Growth & the Unique Journey with God: Walking with Christ with Rebecca Hogg

Even the strongest Christian women professionals and servant leaders carry stories of hard seasons—moments that stretched them, humbled them, or left them quietly wondering how God could bring renewal out of what felt broken. In today’s episode, we explore how post-traumatic growth is not just a psychological concept but a personal and sacred journey where Christ meets us with compassion, wisdom, and surprising new strength. Together with Rebecca Hogg, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Canvas Counseling & Wellness, we look at how our walk with God - which is unique for each of us - can create healing, clarity, and resilience that becomes the foundation for our vocation, our relationships, and hope for moving forward. In this Renewal Conversation, you will hear about:🔅 How shifting our inner person can create change in our outer person, too.🔅 Rebecca's relationship with Christ through the years.🔅 Her evolving vision for her career.🔅 Ways to approach Scripture through a lens of compassion and psychological questioning. 🔅 Her tips and practices for renewal. Rebecca's favorite Bible verse is this: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)   Then click PLAY NOW 👉 https://youtu.be/uswTfIj_oEc_______________________________ 🔗 Want to know more about our guest?Website: https://www.canvascw.com@rebeccadhogg - Instagram & Facebook NEXT STEPS:- You carry so much for others but who supports you? 230 | Avoid Burnout: Internal Family Systems & Christianity-Part 6 POLARITIES, With Dr. Ioana Popa

I hope you are well! Here is Part 6 (out of 7) of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Christianity series, which addresses polarities. This is relevant in our lives as it is common to feel that there is an internal war, as we carry on with our responsibilities. We might be smiling on the outside, but stressed inside, and in time, this can lead to burnout. Polarities is a term used in IFS to explain that we have parts that are proactive (managers), trying to avoid problems. This works until we encounter triggers, which is when the Firefighters take over, trying to soothe our hurts, at which point the Managers can get upset. In this short episode, ✨ I unpack Polarities✨ Address the 'Cycle of Caring' described in psychological research and how it can be disrupted for Christians.✨ Go over the 'treadmill effect' leading to burnout.✨ The solution that is in your control!
