75 Hard Day 22 and we went back to the beginning...well not quite
Day 22 of 75 Hard… and we went back to the beginning.Early alarm, wind still howling, but no excuses — we got out to the track and completed Couch to 10K Week 2.Why start from the beginning? Because of a knee injury… and because sometimes the smartest move is to slow down to build back stronger. This journey isn’t about ego. It’s about consistency. We’re training together, building step by step, and focusing on long-term progress — not quick wins.Alongside the workouts: ✅ Water intake on point ✅ Diet dialled in ✅ Reading daily (Atomic Habits) ✅ Progress pics doneWe’re also gearing up for: 🏊♂️ Pool swimming (once we get cleared at the local hospital) 🌊 Open water swimming when it warms up 🏃♂️ Training for an endurance race in Santorini this October💡 KEY TAKEAWAY FROM TODAY:You don’t need to start fast. 75 Hard - Day 20 - and today was a big reminder that mindset is EVERYTHING.
It started with good intentions… and a snooze button that turned 5 minutes into nearly two hours. But instead of letting that derail the day, I got up, got on the bike, and got it done.At first, I wasn’t feeling it at all. Legs were heavy, motivation was low—but one small change made all the difference. I switched up my route, and just like that, everything clicked. In this episode, I talk about: How changing your environment can instantly shift your mindset Real, noticeable progress from consistent training Tackling hills that used to stop me in my tracks Why the days you don’t feel like it matter the most I also share how the principles from Atomic Habits are starting to show up in real life—small daily actions building into real results.Day 20 is in the books: workouts underway, water on track, clean eating, and progress visible. If you’re on your own journey—or thinking about starting one—this is your reminder to keep going, even when it’s tough.Support the show

Day 19 of the 75 Hard challenge and the routine is starting to lock in.Up early again today — Jen hit the track for a run while I stayed back and pushed through a strength session using resistance bands and the iso bow… and I’ve got to say, the burn you get from it is unreal. Simple bit of kit, but it really delivers. In this episode, I talk about: Why simple training tools can outperform complicated setups How the iso bow is becoming a key part of my routine The real impact of consistency over intensity The 4 Laws from Atomic Habits and how they’re shaping my daily habits Why systems matter more than motivation I also share a more personal insight towards the end…I’ve added some progress photos from the last 6 months — and it’s important to say, this transformation isn’t just from 75 Hard. It’s the result of a structured training plan, consistency, and sticking to a system over time.If you’re looking to make real changes, this episode will give you a practical and honest perspective on what it actually takes.💬 If you want help building your own plan — feel free to reach out.Follow the journey daily on YouTube or listen here if you prefer audio. And if you're on your own journey… keep going.Small daily actions = big long-term results 💪Support the show

Day 18 of the 75 Hard Challenge… and something has shifted. In this episode, I talk about how discipline is starting to feel automatic. That’s the power of stacking small wins early.I also share: Why consistency beats motivation every time How this challenge is removing procrastination The unexpected side effects (including a LOT of water 😅) Improvements in sleep and recovery Why YOU should consider starting 75 Hard If you’ve been sitting on the fence about this challenge, this might be the push you need.Let’s see what Day 19 brings.Support the show

75 Hard - Day 17 From Solo Grind to Inspiring Others… This Just Got REAL
Started the day the right way — progress photo done, water started, and straight out to the running track. Jen joined me this morning and we kept each other going through the session 💪I’ve noticed I only really get going towards the end, so today I pushed harder on that last lap… and it felt great. That’s where the progress is.This afternoon it’s an isotonic workout with the iso bow (home-made by Jen… and just as good as anything you can buy!). No excuses when you can make your own gear. But here’s the best part of today…I popped into the marina office and a local Greek lady stopped me and said she’s been following the challenge on Facebook and feels inspired to join us.She’s starting with us on Monday. That’s what this is all about 👊You never know who’s watching… or who you might inspire just by showing up every day.Let’s keep it going.#75Hard #Day17 #NoExcuses #StayConsistent #Motivation #FitnessJourneySupport the show

75 Hard - Day 15 today felt like a real turning point 💪
After dealing with a recent knee issue, I made the decision to take a smarter approach to running — starting back with a Couch to 10K session to rebuild strength properly rather than going all-out too soon. What started as a steady 30-minute session quickly turned into something more…I kept going.Ran back to the marina… added a few extra laps… and ended up hitting 9KM!From injury… to progress. This is what 75 Hard is all about — adapting, staying disciplined, and showing up no matter what.✅ 2 Workouts Completed ✅ Clean Eating ✅ Water Intake Done ✅ Progress Photo Taken 📖 Just reading left to finish the dayIf you're on your own journey — fitness, mindset, or life in general — stick with it. 75 Hard - Day 14 didn’t exactly go to plan… but that’s where the real test begins.
Started the day strong with a bike session, getting the legs and lungs working as usual—until a puncture stopped me in my tracks. Most people would’ve called it there… but not today.Swapped straight into my running shoes and got back out for a walk/run session to finish what I started. This is what 75 HARD is really about—discipline, adaptability, and refusing to quit when things go wrong.I also dive deeper into lessons from Atomic Habits and how building solid systems keeps you on track even when motivation drops.✅ Two workouts (no excuses) ✅ Clean eating ✅ Nearly a gallon of water ✅ Progress photo done ✅ No alcoholDay 14 complete… and we keep moving forward. If you're on your own journey—fitness, mindset, or life—follow along daily for real, unfiltered progress.👉 Subscribe and stay accountable with me 👉 Follow the podcast version (link below) 👉 Drop a comment—how do YOU handle setbacks?#75Hard #Discipline #AtomicHabits #NoExcusesSupport the show

75 Hard - Day 12 - That was close, I almost failed!
Day 12 of my 75 Hard journey… and this was a close one. After a strong, productive day — early workout, filming and editing, clean eating, second workout completed — everything was on track. But at 10pm, I realised I hadn’t taken my daily progress photos. That’s an instant fail. In this episode, I talk about how easy it is to slip up, not because something is difficult, but because you lose focus for just a moment. It’s often the small things — the forgotten tasks — that can undo all your hard work.I also share:• My workouts for the day, including a Bullworker X5 session • Starting Atomic Habits by James Clear and why it’s already making an impact • How small, consistent actions are shaping this journey. This challenge continues to reinforce one key lesson — success isn’t built on big moments, it’s built on getting the small things right every single day. It’s not the big mistakes that reset you… it’s the small ones you didn’t think mattered.🎧 Follow along as I document the full 75 Hard journey — the highs, the struggles, and everything in between. 75 Hard - Day 10 - Not Feeling It! Doing it anyway
Some days you wake up motivated… and some days you really don’t.Day 10 of my 75 Hard journey was one of those tough mental battles. 75 Hard - Day 5 - No Negotiation, i'm all in!
Day 5 of my 75 Hard challenge—and something’s starting to shift. The early “let’s see how this goes” phase is gone. Now it’s becoming routine… a standard. The hesitation is disappearing, and the focus is getting sharper. In today’s episode, I talk through my morning workout (Bullworker, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises), the plan to get the outdoor session done despite the overcast weather, and why consistency is starting to feel easier.I’ve also switched up the book I’m reading to Relentless – From Good to Great to Unstoppable by Tim S. Grover, and it already feels like the perfect fit for this challenge. After just a couple of chapters, it’s clear this is about more than motivation—it’s about mindset, discipline, and becoming someone who doesn’t negotiate with themselves.I also recap the 75 Hard rules and why their simplicity—and strictness—is exactly what makes this challenge so powerful.Everything is on track. Feeling it today… in a good way.I also dive into the importance of discipline when it comes to nutrition—clean eating all day, no shortcuts, and hitting that full gallon of water target. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency.Alongside the physical side, I’ve been reading Mental Fitness by Ant Middleton, and I share some powerful takeaways around resilience, controlled discomfort, and why your mind will quit long before your body does.We also talk about what 75 Hard really is—a mental toughness program, not just a fitness challenge—and why so many people struggle to complete it.Solid sleep, strong mindset, and momentum building.Day 4 complete. 75 Hard – Day 3: Easier Than Expected?
Day 3 of 75 Hard is in the books—and honestly, it’s not quite as tough as I expected… at least not yet.In this episode, I recap Day 2, where everything got ticked off the list, including two solid workouts (with a windy-paced walk to finish the day). Then it’s into Day 3 with an early start and a welcome return to the bike.Surprisingly, the routine of two workouts a day is starting to feel… enjoyable. That said, I’m under no illusions—it might be a very different story when real life and work come back into the mix.I also talk about: Why increasing intensity (even on a walk) makes a difference How water intake is becoming second nature (and waking me up at night!) 75 Hard – Day 1: No More Excuses
This is it. Day one.No easing in. No “I’ll start tomorrow.” Just a decision to commit—and follow through. In this first episode, I’m kicking off the 75 Hard challenge, a mental discipline programme created by Andy Frisella. It’s simple on paper… but brutal in reality. Two workouts a day (one outdoors), a strict diet, a gallon of water, reading, and a progress photo—every single day for 75 days. Miss one thing, and it’s back to day one.I’m not just doing this for fitness. This is about discipline. About cutting out excuses. About proving to myself that I can stick to something—especially when I don’t feel like it.And I’m documenting the whole journey. The good days, the bad days, the days I question why I even started… all of it.Doing this while living onboard adds another layer—limited space, unpredictable routines, and real-life challenges that make this far from a controlled environment. This isn’t a polished transformation story. This is real.If you’ve ever struggled with consistency, motivation, or just getting started… this series is for you.Day 1 is done.74 to go.🔥 Follow the JourneyNew episodes daily as I take on 75 Hard—no shortcuts, no compromises.👇 Get InvolvedAre you doing 75 Hard too?
