    The secret to pushing past your limits in the world’s toughest ultra with world champ Phil Gore

    Phil Gore is an ultra-marathon runner, a full-time firefighter, a father of four, and a next-level beast from Western Australia. He is a two-time world record holder for the Backyard Ultra, with a previous record of 102 yards in 2023 and currently holding a world record of 119 yards, set in June 2025.
