50. Living Unbound with Serena Arora
In this episode of LIBERATED, I sit down with Serena Arora for a powerful conversation around Ayurveda, embodiment, feminine wisdom, and what it really means to live unbound. Serena is a yoga therapist, Ayurvedic health practitioner, and the author of Unbound, and this conversation is filled with wisdom for the woman who is ready to stop overriding herself and start living in deeper truth. We talk about Ayurveda not as another trend or strict wellness framework, but as a way of understanding your body, honoring your own needs, and learning what truly supports your wellbeing. We also explore the deeper layers of healing... from burnout and overconsumption to intuition, feminine power, and the work of breaking inherited patterns so we can live more freely and fully. One of the most moving parts of this episode is hearing the story behind Serena’s book, Unbound, and the generational lineage that inspired it. This conversation is a beautiful reminder that liberation is not just something we talk about... it is something we embody, practice, and choose over and over again. In this episode, we talk about: What Ayurveda actually is and how it can support modern women in living with more balance and awareness How to begin listening to your body and noticing what nourishes you versus what depletes you The connection between burnout, disconnection, and overriding your inner wisdom Feminine wisdom, intuition, and the power of going down and in Serena’s story behind Unbound and the deeper work of breaking generational patterns Resources + Connect with Serena: Connect with Serena on Instagram Explore her work and offerings Grab a copy of her book, Unbound

49. Desire as Self-Led Power with Kristi Passehl
In this episode of LIBERATED, I’m joined by my soul sister and client, Kristi for a powerful conversation about transformation, reinvention, desire, and coming home to who you truly are. I’ve had the honor of witnessing her evolution up close, and this episode is a beautiful reflection of what happens when a woman stops abandoning herself and fully remembers her power. We talk about the freedom of being a multi-dimensional woman in a world that wants to put you in a box, the truth behind real embodiment, and the courage it takes to choose yourself again and again. We also explore desire as self-led power and how intimacy deepens when a woman becomes more fully expressed, radiant, and alive. This episode is a reminder that you are allowed to change. You are allowed to evolve. And every single day, you get to begin again. And that is your power as a woman. Connect with Kristi on Instagram!

48. The Trap of Staying in “Healing Mode”
In this solo episode, I’m speaking to the woman who has already done a lot of healing work. You’re aware. You’re conscious. You’ve been doing “the work” for years. But you might still find yourself hesitating to fully step into your visibility, leadership, and self-expression. In this episode, I share a perspective that might shift everything: Healing was never the destination. It was the preparation. At some point, the next step isn’t more healing. It’s leadership. I talk about the subtle trap many women fall into... staying in the identity of “the one who is healing”, and how this can quietly keep us from stepping into the impact, visibility, and leadership we’re actually ready for. Leadership doesn’t require perfection. It requires willingness. A willingness to show up, take the next step, and stretch into the woman you are becoming. So I’ll leave you with this question: Where are you still identifying with the woman who is healing… when it might actually be time to become the woman who leads? Send me a message on Instagram with your answer. I absolutely LOVE hearing from you!!

47. Healing Is Remembering: The Path Back to Your Wholeness with Britt Lynn LaBouff
In this episode of LIBERATED, I’m joined by the beautiful Britt Lynn for a deeply nourishing, soul-level conversation about what it really means to come home to yourself. We explore the difference between healing as “fixing” and healing as remembering. Remembering the parts of you that were hidden, silenced, fragmented, or left behind in order to survive. Remembering your wholeness beneath the conditioning, the programs, the stories, and the self-abandonment. ✨ This conversation is also an invitation into Svādhyāya, the yogic practice of sacred self-study, where awareness and compassionate witnessing become the doorway back to wholeness. This conversation is about reclamation. It’s about welcoming the lost and forgotten aspects of yourself back into your inner world and allowing your life, your leadership, and your expression to rise from that place of integrated truth. Britt Lynn shares so beautifully about the energy of homecoming, about walking through the deepest and darkest parts of her own soul in order to reclaim herself, and about how much sweeter life becomes when you stop living only from what you have always known and instead begin living from what you have consciously chosen to reclaim. We talk about: What fragmentation and self-abandonment actually look like in real life How healing becomes a process of reunion rather than repair Why your stories are sacred, and what lives beneath them The idea of your “exalted wholeness” and the truth that your most unique expression is already resting inside you How liberation is not something you become, but something you remember How Svādhyāya (self-study) becomes a lived, embodied practice of homecoming rather than self-fixing This episode is for the woman who knows there is more of her waiting to be lived. It is a permission slip to come home. Reflection prompt: What part of you is quietly waiting to be welcomed back home? 45. Your New 6 Minute Morning Practice
After a recent conversation with a close girlfriend, along with many conversations within our community, I’ve been noticing a shared desire: a longing to reconnect with ourselves. To regulate the nervous system. To have a daily place to land. Yet so many people don’t know where to begin. When you’re living in a state of fight or flight, the idea of dropping straight into stillness or traditional meditation can feel overwhelming, or even impossible. That’s where this episode comes in. In this episode, I guide you through a 6-minute, breath-led meditation designed to meet you exactly where you are. This practice is meant to be a starting point. A daily anchor. Your daily sadhana. All you need is yourself and six minutes of uninterrupted time. ✨ The guided meditation begins at the 9:00 mark. If you try on this practice and find it supportive, please share it with a friend who might need it and reach out to me on Instagram to let me know about your experience. 43. Healing Is Your Nature with Samantha Stokes
In today’s episode, I sit down with my dear friend and former coaching client, Samantha Stokes, for a conversation that is honest, raw, and full of remembrance. We explore Samantha’s evolution from ICU nurse to holistic healer, and what it really took for her to walk away from the “safe,” synthetic path and trust the deeper calling on her life. We talk about her daughter’s diagnosis with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the fear-based conditioning in Western medicine, and how her devotion to healing led her and her daughters to eventually become completely pharmaceutical-free. I share my own reflections from our ICU days together and how witnessing chronic illness shaped both of our paths. We dive into the truth that healing begins in the body — and why clarity, confidence, and soul-led action become so much easier when your vessel is purified, nourished, and supported. Together, we unpack: How fear is instilled in us through culture, medicine, and upbringing Why chronic illness often reflects years of disconnection and lifestyle patterns What it looks like to break generational cycles and choose a liberated life The courage required to take the leap before the full picture is revealed The power of honoring your boundaries, saying “no,” and creating a peaceful, liberated plate The importance of tending to your temple first — nutrition, nervous system healing, breath, sunlight, and consistency We also talk about the identity death that comes with leaving a career like nursing, the grief and liberation in shedding old roles, and what it means to build a business rooted in truth, embodiment, and service. Samantha shares simple places to begin if you’re on your healing journey: clean, whole-food nutrition, removing gluten, reducing alcohol, conscious breathwork, and returning to the intelligence of the body. This episode is a remembrance that healing is your nature… and that taking the leap into your soul’s mission is always worth it. Connect with Samantha: Instagram Website

39. Alcohol, Sensitivity, and Awakening: A Conversation with Gretchen Bergentine
Welcome back to another episode of LIBERATED the Podcast! You are in for such a treat with this one... it’s easily become one of my new favorites! Today I’m joined by Gretchen Bergentine, a coach who works specifically with highly sensitive people (HSPs) to help them quit alcohol and reclaim their lives. We met recently at a wellness networking event, and from the very beginning, I knew her story and wisdom would bring so much value to this space (and we had so much in common and were about to become soul sisters.) In this episode, we dive deep into: What it really means to be highly sensitive and how this trait impacts nearly 30% of the population. The unique connection between high sensitivity and alcohol use—and why so many HSPs turn to substances as a coping mechanism. Gretchen’s personal awakening journey, including her “aha moment” of realizing she was highly sensitive during 2020. How spiritual awakening and sobriety often walk hand in hand. Practical insights for anyone navigating life as a highly sensitive person, whether or not alcohol is part of their story. This is such an eye-opening and compassionate conversation. If you’ve ever wondered whether your sensitivity is a weakness (spoiler: it’s not), or if you’ve struggled with the role alcohol plays in your life, this episode will feel like a homecoming. 🌿 ✨ Connect with Gretchen Make sure you’re following her on Instagram @thealcoholfreehsp . ✨ Her Gift to You Gretchen was so generous in offering listeners her program Stop Numbing: The Foundation absolutely FREE. 36. You Don’t Attract What You Want—You Attract What You Are
Hey love! Welcome to this powerful episode where I’m sharing a transmission that originally aired inside Spirit Tribe during our theme for the month: Magnetic May. In this session, I opened up about what magnetism really is—not the curated, filtered version we see on social media, but the embodied, soul-aligned, heart-led energy that naturally draws in everything that is meant for you. I talk about: Why magnetism isn’t something you do—it’s something you become How to stop chasing and start attracting from a place of alignment The energetics behind “trying too hard” and how it actually repels what you desire Why nervous system regulation is foundational to true magnetism The role of authenticity, vulnerability, and embodiment in becoming magnetic The sacred power of surrender and allowing yourself to be seen You’ll hear me speak candidly about my own journey with this, including moments I was gripping too tightly or forcing outcomes—and what shifted when I dropped back into trust, presence, and truth. This episode is a loving call to stop hustling for your worth and start being the energy that effortlessly attracts your next level. ✨ If this speaks to you, I invite you to tune in with your journal, your breath, and your open heart. 35. Breakdown to Breakthrough: You're Not Broken, You're Becoming
Hello my loves! Welcome back to LIBERATED the Podcast. This one is raw, real, and totally unedited. It was recorded live on Instagram, straight from the edge of my comfort zone (yes, even the “I feel like I might poop my pants” kind of nerves 😅). But that’s what makes this transmission so potent. In this episode, I drop into the somatic reality of what it means to lead, share, and be seen. I get real about the very human sensations that arise when we are stepping outside of our zone of comfort and how instead of resisting them, we can learn to work with them. We explore the truth that what feels like a breakdown is often a portal to our next breakthrough. I open up about what it really feels like to be seen in your sacred work. To lead while shaking. To show up when your nervous system is screaming run. We talk about the very real somatic sensations that rise when we’re expanding—and how most of us have been taught to avoid or suppress them. But what if that tight belly, racing heart, and sweaty palms aren’t signs you’re wrong… but signs you’re ready? I share what it means to meet those edges with reverence. To stop fighting the sensations. To stop labeling them as bad. And instead, to feel them, breathe with them, and let them guide you to your next breakthrough. This transmission is for the woman on the edge of evolution. The one who’s been doing the work, but still finds herself bracing for the next leap. The one who knows she’s not here to play small, but feels the very real, visceral fear of being fully seen. I weave in the teachings from our “Metamorphosis March” inside Spirit Tribe and share how they’re leading us into a season of full bloom. This is such a beautiful moment to pause, breathe, and remember: what feels like a breakdown is often the exact moment your next becoming is being born. I also share a guided practice at the 33 minute mark of this episode. If you would like to watch the video format to see the hand positions demonstrated for some of the practices, you can watch that here. So grab your journal, pour some tea, and drop in with me. You’re not broken, you’re becoming. Let’s breathe through it together!!

27. Reflect, Review, and Remember: Your 2024 Year-End Process
Your Year in Review Part One In this episode, I’m sharing my signature process for reviewing and reflecting on your year to powerfully set yourself up for the most aligned, intentional and transformative 2025. This is one of my favorite tools I've used year after year to reflect on my year in such a powerful way! and I’m so excited to guide you through it. What to Expect in This Episode: The Framework: I break down my signature year-in-review process, designed to help you reflect, highlight your blessings, and acknowledge the lessons of 2024. Tools You Need: All you need is a pen, paper, and some uninterrupted time to dive deep into this reflective journey. For extra support, I’ve created a downloadable PDF, you can download for free here. Why This Matters: As women, we often rush from one accomplishment to the next, rarely taking time to celebrate or even recognize what we’ve done. This process will help you slow down, honor your growth, and release what no longer serves you. Key Takeaways: Beware of Borrowed Goals: Are your goals truly yours, or are you subconsciously adopting what you see on social media? This practice helps you tune into heart-led desires rather than mind-led ones. The Power of Feeling: Any goal—whether it’s losing weight, starting a business, or something else—is really about how you think achieving it will make you feel. By connecting to that feeling now, you align yourself with your highest self and the woman you desire to become in the new year. Step-by-Step Process: Write down each month of 2024 (January through December) and leave space for reflections. Use tools like your phone’s photo gallery or a journal to jog your memory. For each month, write down lessons, blessings, and what you’re leaving behind. Identify a theme for the month. Final Reflection Questions: At the end of the process, ask yourself: What are my biggest lessons from 2024? What are my biggest blessings? What am I releasing and leaving behind in 2024? Who have I become? Bonus Prompts: What do you want to see more of and less of in 2025? Make sure you follow this process with Part Two where I share a guided meditation to help you feel into your year and embody your highest self as you step into 2025. How to Get Started: Carve out time to fully immerse yourself in this process. Light a candle, grab a warm beverage, and create a sacred space. Download the free PDF of the framework here. Share your reflections! Tag me on Instagram @thelesliemedley with your journal entries or PDF highlights—I’d love to celebrate you! This year-in-review process has been a game changer for me over the years and the many women I’ve guided through it. I can’t wait for you to experience the clarity, gratitude, and inspiration it brings! Let’s honor 2024, the woman you have become and step powerfully into 2025 together. Sending you so much love. See you in Part Two!

23. Transforming Trauma into Liberation w/ the 90 Second Rule
Welcome back to another episode of LIBERATED the Podcast! I’m your host, Leslie Medley, and today, we continue our deep dive into trauma healing, building on the wisdom shared in Episode 22: All Things Trauma Healing and Rewriting the Script. Highly recommend tuning in as that episode lays a strong foundation for what we will cover in today's episode. In this episode, we go beyond understanding trauma—we explore how to embody that knowledge and live it out in our daily lives. I share a personal story from a recent cacao ceremony with my daughter, which serves as a powerful metaphor for the healing journey and the importance of breaking generational patterns through our actions. Key Topics Discussed: Samskaras and the Grooves of Trauma: We dive into the concept of samskaras, or the deep emotional imprints we carry, and how these patterns influence our lives. I discuss the importance of observing these patterns and how we can rewrite the script of our lives by responding consciously rather than reacting unconsciously. The Power of Embodiment: I highlight the difference between understanding trauma intellectually and truly embodying that understanding. It’s one thing to learn about healing, but true change comes when we live it out, moment by moment. Navigating Emotional Triggers: Learn how to identify and navigate the sensations that arise during emotional triggers. I share practical steps for leaning into these sensations, recognizing your inner child, and releasing judgment, allowing you to move through the experience with grace. Somatic Release Techniques: I offer simple, yet powerful somatic tools such as jumping, dancing, and breathwork to help you move stuck energy through your body and release the hold trauma can have on you. Remember, you have the power to rewrite your narrative, for yourself and future generations. I can’t wait to hear how you’re implementing these practices and what shifts you’re experiencing. Connect with me on Instagram to share your thoughts and breakthroughs! I love hearing from you! @thelesliemedley My gift to you: Somatic Practice for Releasing can be found here.
