by Katy Rexing
Welcome to Within, a space for women allowing themselves to simply be. Hosted by wife, mother and mindfulness mentor, Katy Rexing, this show reimagines the unrealistic standards that keep us from our truest nature. Here, we unravel the programming that taught us things like perfection, shame and overwhelm and settle into our deepest knowing and self trust. Each week, Katy will be joined by thought leaders and experts who are choosing to unravel the belief about how and what a woman should be and instead are coming home to themselves. We’ll share raw, real conversations around trying to live mindfully, aging, sobriety, current wellness culture, and what it really means to be a woman in today’s day and age.

My Foundations of Well Being
When I was younger I lived so much of life trying to become ‘the best version of myself’... and it actually seemed to make things worse. I struggled with how I viewed my body, I often got lost in comparison, and my relationships with myself and others suffered as a side effect. Nowadays, I feel less reactive to the world around me. I’ve made peace with my body and food, and I’ve consciously built a life that feels intentional and aligned. Today I’m sharing the external, internal, and relational shifts I made over time to get to this beautiful space I’m so grateful to be in now. Today on WithIn: My daily external priorities: meditation, sobriety, sleep, and food Learning to regulate your emotions while still making room to feel them Removing the noise of comparison from your life Intentionally balancing your energy Accepting the truth that you will disappoint people in life - and that’s okay Making room for a sense of purpose and meaning in your life Go deeper with these related episodes of WithIn: My Journey to Sobriety How to Start Your Own Meditation Practice (With a Guided Meditation) Follow Katy: IG: @katyrexing Subscribe to Katy’s weekly Substack Newsletter

Your Body is Speaking: How to Listen with Somatic Therapy with Beatriz Victoria Albina (From the Vault)
(This episode originally aired in summer 2025, and we're bringing it back because somatic work and nervous system regulation is so very important at this time) “We are all just toddlers, but taller.” - Beatriz Victoria Albina Somatic therapy is something that I’ve been really intrigued about in my own life, and before this conversation I didn’t quite understand it. My new friend Beatriz Victoria Albina has changed that. In today’s episode she’ll beautifully explain what somatic therapy is, and how it can help those of us who were socialized in ways that created perfectionist, co-dependent or people pleasing habits so that we can live life in a way that is kinder to our nervous systems. Beatriz Victoria Albina is a Master Certified Somatic Life Coach, Nurse Practitioner, and has a Masters in Public Health. She is the host of the Feminist Wellness Podcast. Her new book, End Emotional Outsourcing: How to Overcome Codependent, Perfectionist and People Pleasing Habits comes out in September! “I pour into so many other people, but I think I had forgotten to pour into me.” For the last year or so I thought I was doing fine. Sure, I had sleepless nights or more anxiety than I’d prefer…my skin was a little redder than I’d like.. but for the most part everything seemed basically ‘fine’. But when I got a chance to slow down for the summer, I began to reexamine my health and wellness. What I realized was that while I felt fine, I didn’t feel great. I made some changes this summer in regards to my health and wellness and I must say I feel the best I’ve felt in a long time. Today I’ll share the shifts I made and what really is working for me in this season of life to feel my best. Today on WithIn: What I realized when I removed Instagram and made strict boundaries on screen time Lowering the volume on wellness culture Enjoying movement for the joy of it and not for a goal of changing my body The power of prioritizing creativity The changes I’ve noticed after two months of taking NAD What has changed for me since I’ve been back in therapy The superpower trifecta of sobriety, meditation and self-love Curious about starting your own meditation practice? The Beauty and Challenge of Pausing for the Summer
It’s the end of summer and I am back! What was going to be a two-week break from the podcast turned into a full summer of slow beautiful presence. I allowed myself to let go of my trademark hustler energy, and a softer side of me stepped forward to take the lead. This shift helped me to experience such deeper connections with my children, JP, my parents and myself. Today I’ll share why I needed this pause and where I’m at with these changes now that I am back on the mic. Today on WithIn: How burnout snuck up and blindsided me during the spring Effectively taking a break when you are a ‘doer’ What I learned when I allowed my hustler energy to take a back seat for the first time How I’m integrating my learnings into my real life now that I am entering autumn Come join us this March 2026 for Clarity & Connection, an intimate Women’s Retreat on the remote, tropical coast of Cambutal, Panama. Healing the Ache to Belong (with a Guided Meditation)
I’ve been experiencing a lot of transitions lately, and with those transitions I’ve been feeling a heightened sense of vulnerability around belonging. This feeling isn’t new for me. In fact, I’ve often struggled with feeling like I didn’t ‘belong’. The way I navigate these feelings has changed for the better, though, and today I’ll share how. We’ll talk about the differences between belonging and fitting in, and how external validation pales in comparison to internal validation. Then, I’ll guide you through a short meditation you can use at any time to help you ground into yourself when the ache to belong becomes overwhelming. Yet, life doesn’t always turn out the way we expect. Today, I’ll share how my child’s journey with their identity led me to realize how my own views differed from the Catholic church’s teachings, and the moment it became clear that it was time to step away from the church. I’ll also share how my relationship with God has deepened since then, and how we now view faith as a family. EP. 15 | Unlocking My Potential: The Power of Gardening with Nicole Johnsey Burke
“Start making some sourdough. Start raising butterflies. I don't care what you do, but find some way to tap into the magic of this human experience." Nicole Johnsey Burke Nicole Johnsey Burke Nicole Johnsey Burke, founder of Gardenary, Inc., is on a crusade to bring back the kitchen garden, make gardening a profitable profession again, and basically save the planet for her four kids and for children around the world. After starting Rooted Garden, Inc., her own 6-figure kitchen garden business based in Houston, TX, back in 2015, Nicole launched Gardenary, Inc. in 2017. As she grew Rooted Garden, she noticed increasing growth in the health and wellness industry but saw a decline in our overall wellbeing. She realized the kitchen garden was the missing link. She formed Gardenary to become an online company that could serve gardeners at all stages of their growth—from beginner to experienced. In just a few years, Gardenary has taught 1000s of students how to garden and has trained more than 100 gardeners to start their own garden coach businesses. Today on Within: How starting a garden can profoundly affect one’s life, providing a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Focusing on your own wellbeing and self-worth can fundamentally change your approach to life and business. Entrepreneurship as a path to self-discovery and empowerment, especially for women. ABOUT THIS SHOW
Welcome to Within, a space for women allowing themselves to simply be.
