72: Faith Over Finances - Trusting God with Your Money with SeedTime's Linda Lotich

SeedTime is a community who views money as a tool to change lives, not the source of our status or security. Therefore, since money is a tool, we are at our best and most effective when we learn (what we were never taught in school) how to manage, grow, spend, and give wisely. In this episode, I interview Linda Lotich of SeedTime. We dive into the concept of the biblical perspective of money and what it truly means to steward money God's way. We talk about shifting from a scarcity mindset to one rooted in trust, prioritizing giving, saving and wise spending, and aligning financial decisions with faith and purpose. This conversation offers practical encouragement for anyone wanting to manage their finances with intention, discipline and a heart that honors God. Time stamps:00:00 - Linda's background & SeedTime beginnings07:00 - The Bible's view of money vs culture's view11:00 - Money: Stewardship vs ownership 15:00 - When money becomes an idol; "You cannot serve both God & money"19:00 - Contentment vs consumerism 23:00 - How the Bible views debt  29:00 - Biblical budgeting 33:00 - Tithing and "cheerful giving" when money feels really tight 40:00 - Trusting God when finances are tough 50:00 - Pursuing success without compromising faith 52:00 - Praying over financial decisions 55:00 - Teaching your children about money 59:00 - Feeling guilty about earning "too much" or "too little" 62:00 - Feeling shame, guilt or anxiety about money (Matthew 6) 66:00 - The first step in aligning finances with scripture Contact and Resources from SeedTime: Follow SeedTime on IG @seedtimeSeedTime's WebsiteGet the book Simple Money, Rich LifeSeedTime in the Bible AppSeedTime's PodcastConnect with Kristine:Email - [email protected] - @birth.injury.coachYouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@kristine.mamaprojectSubscribe to receive my weekly emails - https://mamaproject.myflodesk.com/mailinglist

    70: God's Plan > My Plan

Four years ago we had quite the transformational year: we sold our house, bought land in Wisconsin, sold my gym, got pregnant and became first time parents. And now here we are in 2026. And let me tell you, soooo much has happened that has made us change course. Are we still building a house in Wisconsin? Do I regret selling the gym? What's the plan?! In this episode, I give a bit of a life update and really an incredible testimony on what happens when we follow God's plan for our life instead of our own. Connect with Kristine:Email - [email protected] - @birth.injury.coachYouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@kristine.mamaprojectSubscribe to My Email List - https://mamaproject.myflodesk.com/mailinglist

    60: Coping with Pregnancy Loss

Grief isn't a linear process. There are still days/moments where I cry and feel really sad about no longer being pregnant. At the time of this episode being released, I should be 18 weeks pregnant. Experiencing a pregnancy loss has been one of the hardest things I have been through, and at the same time I believe I am being transformed through my pain. I believe that God wastes nothing and although He never wants to see his children hurting, He will use our pain for a purpose. Part of that purpose is talking about my experience in this podcast. I hope and pray that different methods of coping I discuss in this episode help you along in your journey as well. If you have experienced a pregnancy loss, I am so sorry and I am praying that God comforts and heals your grieving heart. Connect with Kristine:Email - [email protected] - @birth.injury.coachYouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@kristine.mamaprojectSubscribe to receive my weekly emails - https://mamaproject.myflodesk.com/mailinglist

40: Motherhood is Not a Competition

Our current society and culture is notorious for making moms feel guilty everywhere for a variety of reasons. I should be nursing my baby, but breastfeeding is hard for me. I should be laying the baby down in the crib but they won't sleep anywhere but on me. I should give the baby solid food but I'm terrified that they will choke. The list goes on and on. In this episode, I go against the grain and talk about how motherhood is NOT a competition, unlike everything you see on social media. Bottom Line: If it works for you and your family, it doesn't need to make sense to anyone else. 33: Encouraging Young Females to Stay Active Through "Girls Who Lead" with Katie Doerksen

We lose 40% of our girls from organized sport and activty by age 11. By the end of puberty, we have lost 64%. We know from the data that more than half of teen girls feel pressure to be perfect and worry about failing. Girls between the ages of 8 and 14 years old have been shown to have their confidence drop by 30%. So what can we do about it? In this episode, I talk to fellow P&PA coach Katie Doerksen about what she is doing about it in her own community with a program she developed called "Girls Who Lead." What Katie is doing with this program is incredible and I think that this is exactly the type of program that needs to be established in every single community! Most women in high levels careers or that establish entrepreneurship attribute their success to their time spent in youth sports/organized activities! It all starts with US as parents, coaches & supporters to truly consider the skills, habits, awareness, & education our girls need as a whole person to thrive! Connect with Kristine:Email - [email protected] - @birth.injury.coachYouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@kristine.mamaprojectSubscribe to receive my weekly emails - https://mamaproject.myflodesk.com/mailinglist
