Swift Podcast Episode 25
😍WE ARE BACK!! Beyond excited to bring the Swift Podcast back to you guys! I had to step away from the platform as a lot of you know I have been working very hard to start my own practice. That took a lot of time from me and I only want to put quality out there. It has been quite an adventure and finally am able to get back to some other things that made me who I am. In this episode with Dr. Barle, we discussed a variety of topics but most importantly we discussed the benefits of attending Physical Therapy, especially in a cash-based clinic. Why should you go to a self-pay clinic: ✅ You receive quality care ✅ Save money and time ✅ Receive an experience you will never forget ✅ Therapist spends quality time with you and does not share your time ✅ Results are delivered faster because of the attention and care you receive Aside from that Dr. Matt and I chat about other things in our industry as well as some great advice from the myth himself. This episode is one you will want to save and watch later. Link: https://youtu.be/ABQAqaOuEa4 Want to be a guest on the Swift Podcast? Send me a message and let's get chatting!

SWIFT Podcast Episode 20
I could not ask for a better episode after yesterday’s fight. Had the pleasure to sit down with Dr. Caleb Burgess and talk about being an orthopedic specialist, therapy for acute pain, and much much more. If you are interested in chiropractor work and learning more about what to do with acute injuries this one is for you. An acute injury is a sudden and often overwhelming injury that results from some kind of physical activity. Typically, acute injuries are caused by a sudden movement or impact during either exercise or a sport. The best part about this episode is the debt Caleb and I go into about education and continuing education. I always tell my clients/patients if your therapist/coach does not continue to learn to enhance themselves each year, you may want to look for someone else. The world of physical therapy and fitness are always evolving so should your education. If you truly want to impact the world and change those around you never strive for mediocre. From professional fighter to bikini competitor and not a mindset coach. Today’s guest comes to us from Cali to share her story of strength. Christina dropped some knowledge while simultaneously teaching us what it means to be humble. The topics we cover go from the benefits of working out, overcoming obstacles, and ultimately pursuing your passion. In the mix of today’s time, the fear or risk of pursuing your own passion tends to cause people to shy away from dreams. Why? If you have a vision find the absolutely appropriate mindset and make it happen. The path that is less traveled will be the best. The term Grit comes to mind with her story. Grit is having the courage to push through, No matter what the obstacles are, why? Because it’s worth it. SWIFT Podcast Episode 17
It’s one of the hottest terms in fitness today, injury prevention. In this episode, I discuss injury-proof programming, no doing this will not keep you injury-free however you will develop the mindset to be aware and prevent injuries. In this podcast, I go over the basic fundamentals of creating programs that can help guide you in the right direction. I am not going to claim that this is all you need to do to keep injury free but this is a start. As a human, your body moves in pretty much the same way as other humans. Naturally, if you want to be strong, athletic, healthy, you train all of these foundational patterns. Here they are: Squat Hinge Lunge Push Pull Carry Rotation Core The issue with programming is we cannot mimic all these one and that is when people start to complicate things. Focus on one movement with proper time under tension and optimize your results. Thank you to everyone who has supported my podcast thus far I truly hope you are enjoying them. The workout method is anything but ordinary, offering bounce, a beat-based trampoline class that will challenge you both mentally and physically and sculpt, the perfect complement to bounce that will leave you strong, balanced, and focused. I hope you all enjoy this episode as it was very fun for both of us. Comment below on if you have ever tried trampoline fitness, and tell me about your experience. What is motivation? I had the pleasure to sit down with a former colleague and friend Joel Green. Joel is one of a heck of a businessman but an awesome motivational speaker. He recently just gave a great ted talk that you should all listen to. Everyone has a different definition of motivation. What is motivation? How do we overcome failure? What do we do when motivation is low? These are all the great topics we touch on during this episode. You see, the way you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible for you, determines everything that happens to you. When you change the quality of your thinking, you change the quality of your life, instantly. Just as positive words can make someone smile or a well-timed humorous quote can make someone laugh, our thoughts react to the world in real-time.

I had the pleasure to sit down with Transformation Coach Dr. Levi Deike. Levi was the ultimate level of calm that you experience. As we discussed various topics I find myself relaxing more throughout the entire time. Having a proper coach allows us to be open to the connectedness between us all. Infusing positivity into intentions and actions creates more space for personal thriving and achievement in all aspects of life. Levi took that to the next level with his vision and what he is influencing others to do. The powerful process of coaching enables the inspiration to ignite change. I had the pleasure to sit down with a good friend who is a teacher, a fitness instructor, small business owner, trainer, and an athlete. The list of her roles is endless but her spirits are high. In the mix of her resume she works hard but is the happiest person you can meet, ready to rock everyday. We talk about work life balance and so much more. Jess shared a powerful message in this episode so enjoy. Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them — work, family, health, friends and spirit and you’re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls — family, health, friends, and spirit — are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be damaged, or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

It took more than a day to put it on. It will take more than a day to take it off. Dieting is not an instant process, and that’s why it’s hard. But that’s also why it’s worth doing. Don’t be dismayed when you haven’t dropped four dress sizes in a week, or wonder where your washboard abs are after a day of eating healthily. Results from dieting take time, but when they do come they’re definitely worth it. I have the pleasure to sit down with Brianna, precision nutrition coach. Brianna shared her journey about dieting and finding the perfect body for her. She shared great information about nutrition as well as lifting for women. Most women are afraid of lifting heavyweight and Bri discusses the benefits and is a living example of discontinuing myths about women and weight training. Successful coaches understand that eating healthily and exercising work best when used together, rather than on their own. Just because you’ve been to the gym in the morning, doesn’t mean you can have fast food 24/7 however t is okay to splurge. The goal is to teach balance and try not to throw away your hard work.

SWIFT Podcast Episode 5
From the beginning of March, my mindset about a world with COVID-19 was to take it a day at a time, since nobody had a clue what was happening or when. We as a community were self-isolating immediately and stockpiled supplies as if it was the apocalypse. A few weeks into doing this, we began to get nervous about her mental health. Can we sustain this for months? Now imagine being a business owner and completely shut down. You are not allowed to work, you have no venues to attend so what are you to do? I had the pleasure to sit down with a great friend of mine Gio. Gio and I talked about the life of a business owner during the pandemic and how he successfully kept his business afloat. Research suggests times of crisis can have long-term effects on one's behavior as well as ones mental and emotional well-being. However, we also know that with the right support, hard times can build resiliency in young people, giving them the ability to better handle stress and rebound from a setback or challenge.

SWIFT Podcast Episode 3
Habeeb and I sat down together to talk performance. Sports performance has four major dimensions: skill, strength, endurance, and recovery. High performance in any sport requires a characteristic blend of these dimensions, although individual sports differ widely in that balance. We coach you to move better using movement and joint analysis, movement history, and progressive programming. We talked about how to teach coaches and physios how to use these methods of mobility & rehabilitation to enhance performance. When coaching and programming for athletes, we must place a considerable emphasis on what they specifically need to excel in their sport. As an individual or athlete performs the exercise, the energy system(s) they utilize the most, will be the foundation of the adaptations they experience, hence why it is vital to consider the physiological components of the sport. Keiran Bibbs and I sat down to talk about “Sports Performance and Overcoming Injuries” and how the journey can be. Keiran is a sports performance coach and owner of full circle fitness. In this episode, we discuss the life of a strength coach and overcoming injuries. Internal and external forms of stress can profoundly impact adaptive progress and athletic performance. Thus, you should consider the management and manipulation of both physiological and psychological stress when designing a training program for athletes. This is what we discuss in his story.
