    I’d eat an entire pack of dried mangoes even though they made me SO bloated.I’d eat an entire row of cookies until my stomach felt like it was going to burst.I’d binge on chocolate chip pancakes every time I was home alone even though I was on the toilet with my arms wrapped over my stomach in pain every time.I didn’t get it.I knew these foods made me feel like crap, why did I keep eating them?Because the moment you eat foods that bloat you, make you inflamed & so full until the next day is the moment you’ve decided you “messed up”.The day is a write off.Tomorrow will be better.* enter self sabotage mode with the all or nothing mentality slapped on top *The inner rebel within you starts to get a little feisty and wants to make you FULLY AWARE that you’re “failing” yet again.It’s a conscious decision to shift your mindset from “this is bad food, I can’t eat it” aka rules that create pressure and leave you feeling impulsive to “I’m a badass who respects herself and these foods don’t make me feel well so I’m going to not have as much.     CONQUER BINGE EATINGHelena came to me struggling with her relationship with food & bingeing since she was 12 years old. She would come home from school and binge on a bunch of snacks when her parents weren’t home.She tried therapy, eating disorder treatment and worked with dieticians but always felt like she was the exception. She had thoughts that maybe she’d just struggle with bingeing & thinking about food for the rest of her life.Until she found my podcast, joined CONQUER & decided to trust the process and believe that she could CONQUER. She was fully open to a new approach of rewiring her brain after understanding that binge eating was a habit. (THIS IS KEY!!!) 🙏She didn't spend years in therapy talking about her childhood, following meal plans that made her more impulsive. She had real actionable tools to implement that helped her become less impulsive. She's a badass action taker and wanted to have practical tools that she could use in her everyday life.
