When you train/lift/exercise, you put your body under stress. That's the idea, anyway. If you want to improve or progress, you need to. It's only when you're not training that's when your body adapts to this stress. When you've adapted and you want to improve further, you put it under MORE stress than before. You do this forever. Episode 52 - Build Muscle Fast! (The Double Progression Training Method)
Send me a text! 😃This simple training periodisation method is so effective and so simple! You can use it forever and you'll constantly make gains. I use it with all my clients and they get awesome results from it in the gym which means more muscle and more strength. Here's how it works:Double progression is a training method that involves gradually increasing both the volume (reps) and intensity of your workouts. You start by working within a specific rep range, and once you can consistently reach the top of that range for a certain number of sets, you add more weight. If you can still meet the minimum rep requirement with the heavier weight, you continue working with it until you reach your next rep and set targets. Episode 38 - Me, Myself and Muscle Dysmorphia (What is it, how it affects my life and where it came from)

I speak about my daily battle with body dysmorphia, more specifically, muscle dysmorphia and how it affects me currently and where it potentially came from Constantly not thinking I look good enough to be a coach and regularly going from a bulk to a cut back to a cut way too often, which means I struggle to get to my desired physique, which is never good enough anyway (according to me)I see myself as skinny....and I see myself as having too much body fat.I recorded this to spread awareness, as it may be way more prevalent in today's society than we think, especially now due to social media and the rise of AI and the amount of fake, edited images out there.
