I’ve been surprised by how meditative painting has been. It’s fully immersive and I find myself able to be present in a way I’m not with other activities. Every part of my mind and body is present, fully connected. No separation. No awareness outside myself. Except when I made this painting.

When we're open to fully walking our path, open to learning and growing from all parts of our life, we find the people and situations who will help us. These people and situations are not always easy on us. In fact, I'd say the challenging ones are the most fruitful. They reflect us back to ourselves in way we can rarely ignore. They are our mirrors. Join me in exploring where these friends on the path are in your life and opening further to what they can teach us.

From Rejecting to Embracing
**Audio Only*** Rejection can be big and obvious. It can also be subtle, playing in the background and forming false beliefs within ourselves that don't align with our values. In this talk, we visit acceptance, one of the pillars of mindfulness, and how we change our thinking about what acceptance is. We also talk about the process of becoming familiar with when we are rejection ourselves so we can begin to offer ourselves the nurturing we need to turn the rejection into acceptance and, eventually, embracing and love. Reflection on Healing
Healing - this is my word for 2024. After a crazy year of transformation in 2023, i just feel tired. Bone tired. So the first step on my path toward embracing myself is to bring healing into every day. Through listening attentively inward, I will know exactly what it is I need in any moment to nurture myself. This act of awareness, listening, and nurturing IS healing.
