    6 Lessons I Wish I Learned During The Holidays

    I had spent days trying to figure out what I should say for a post-holiday "fitness expert" obligatory motivational podcast episode, and I couldn't think of anything. My heart was just not in it. Right now, every fitness professional is cramming down your throat on what you "should" or "should not do after the holidays. "Earn that turkey." "Go burn off that pie." "Oh, by the way, I'm going to leverage your emotions and pretty much guilt you into buying my shit for my own personal gain." This shit is one of the main reasons why I had such a toxic relationship with this time of year. So, instead, I listened to my heart, put the mic on, and decided to do a podcast on what I wish I had heard from professionals during the holiday season. I shared the lessons that I learned through my own journey of lots of trial and error (lol) that helped me make real change and be incredibly proud of the outcome of the holiday season instead of dread and self-loathing.
